This is a higher end Thai food restaurant in Waikiki. The presentations were A1, the service was adequate and the food can use a bit improvement. The fried shrimp cake was fried a bit too long, but the flavor was acceptable. The pineapple chicken appetizer was different and tasted pretty good. Tom Yong soup was okay, but pad Thai was on the sweet side. Yellow curry was good, but not on the salty side. For desserts, we wanted mango sticky rice, but it didn’t have them, so we skipped the desserts. The sitting area was nice, quiet and pleasant. The price was on the high side for the quality of the food, but I suppose we were paying for the ambience.
We had a wonderful time at Noi! I only wish we'd come more hungry (we'd snacked along the way as we walked the strip) so that we'd been able to try more dishes! It's a beautiful restaurant with lots of different seating options. The windows/doors are open, so you get fresh air, though the inside is air conditioned. There's bar seating and individual table seating as well as areas for larger groups. We saw several families while we were here, so it's child friendly as well.
Our server was wonderful - very friendly and humorous and offered many great suggestions. We decided to get the fresh spring rolls, since they're made fresh daily. The peanut sauce was especially good! Then we got the green seafood curry and the Siam Volcano (they only make 10 a day, and were out of mango and sticky rice, so we decided to try it). The curry was delicious, but still a little spicy for my taste. The Siam Volcano was lovely, but underwhelming. The fruit was fresh and lovely and it was yummy, but not as special as I thought it might be.
Lunch is the best time to come - there were several open tables when we came. Our server told us that it's incredibly busy for dinner, so get a reservation! Overall, a fantastic experience - I would definitely recommend either here or one of their other locations!
This place was AWESOME! I have never enjoyed Pad Thai before having it here. So delicious! Red curry was so tasty too! Bryan our waiter gave great recommendations and the drinks were great - flavorful and beautiful! Would definitely eat here again! OH YEAH! Get the shrimp taro root rools for the appetizer - such great f lavor and texture and the sauce was fantastic!
The ambiance at Noi Thai Cuisine is lovely, with a nice upscale vibe. However, the food was just okay—flavors were fine, but nothing really stood out. For the price point, I expected dishes with more depth and authenticity.
Service was friendly, but the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. It’s a decent spot if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again
Outstanding! Basil chicken unlike any I’ve had before. Tom Yum was also different and better than others I’ve had, also loved the tofu option. Cherry wood smoked Manhattan was good. Royal Hawaiian Mule was the best. Surprised that the mangoes in the mango sticky rice weren’t better. Great experience overall.
I came when they opened for lunch and they were not yet too busy. I was seated by the lady immediately and the waiter came and assisted me right away. The Penang Curry was full of flavors and very delicious. I also had the Thai tea that was also delicious. They have a big menu and I hope to return in the future and try other menu options. They have outdoor and indoor seating.
The food here was solid! The salmon fried rice and the curry were super flavorful- definitely worth trying. I also loved the location in Seattle; it’s great to know there’s a Noi Thai here too. Service was good, little bit of a wait but no complaints there. Parking is tricky, though. I ended up parking at the Royal Hawaiian, but there are other spots nearby if you don’t mind hunting a bit. It was a little chilly inside, so I’d bring a jacket next time. Overall, a nice spot for some tasty Thai food!
For many years I walked by this place and we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. We ordered the appetizer sampler which came with multiple meat dishes and green papaya salad. The sticky rice was delicious!
We also tried the seafood dish and it came with generous portion and a variety of seafoods: mussels, lobster, shrimps, and scallops. The sauce was a little sweet and it was not curry but I ate it with the brown rice which came with it.
I can’t wait to come back again and try their curry! They also have happy hour dishes.
Park at Royal Hawaiian Center.
The server was very nice but I wouldn't go back again because the food was just ok.
評判が良かったハッピーアワーに行きましたが、残念ながらメニューが変更になったようで、対象商品が少なく値段もかなり高くなっていました。
We were trying to catch a quick dinner before a show and came here. The service was absolutely perfect. The food came very quick and we had no complaints. We were seated immediately in a nice looking room with great atmosphere and volume. We left feeling very satisfied!
This is high end Thai restaurant with relatively mild flavors. Very tasty and classic. Some dishes are very creative, which means not always authentic. Presentation is very nice as well. The lobster dishes are very indulging. Except the duck dishes, which was not cooked well and hard to bite or cut.
Of course, the price is in high end style too....But overall, a very interesting dining experience.
Love it amazing food
This place was AWESOME! I have never enjoyed Pad Thai before having it here. So delicious! Red curry was so tasty too! Bryan our waiter gave great recommendations and the drinks were great - flavorful and beautiful! Would definitely eat here again! OH YEAH! Get the shrimp taro root rools for the appetizer - such great f lavor and texture and the sauce was fantastic!
My wife and I were seated quickly, but then there was no aknowledgment of us for at least 12-15 minutes--no nods, no water...no, "we'll be right with you." Instead, it felt like we were invisible. Finally, Lee came to our table. I liked my curry. My wife didn't like the duck. The service never felt authentic, but improved slightly. However, when it came time to pay the bill, Lee handed us the portable card reader, which defaults to a much higher tip. (I tip based on authentic, kind service, not as a result of intimidation). However, Lee stood within inches of us looking at us during the tipping selection. It was obviously a tactic for him. We've never gone back. It was just all-around not a good experience.
Great food and atmosphere! Van is a good server recommending several dishes to choose from. Thanks!
The atmosphere and decor is really nice, but the overall experience was mediocre. My partner and I arrived for an early Saturday dinner before a show. It wasn’t busy and they were well staffed, but still managed to take 15 minutes before any wait staff came by our table for the first time. We had to flag someone down to ask them for water and to take our orders.
The food was decent, but for the price and poor service, it was not a good experience. There are many better options within a few minutes walk.
Worst Thai food I've ever had. The manager didn't even care that we didn't enjoy the food but he tried to make us feel like we didn't know what we were talking about. Appetizer was horrible, main dish was so bad and meat so dry. Pad see ewe was the worst I've ever had. Not sure about some of the 5 star reviews but i would give it 0 stars if I could.
The overall atmosphere was very nice and the service was average at best. The food however was not good at all. The Sweet Thai minced chicken appetizer was one of the worst appetizers I’ve had anywhere. It taste like a pineapple and peanuts and you couldn’t taste the chicken at all. The lamb in the curry was so dry we only had a few bites and left the rest. We told the manager how dry the lamb was and we were told he just had lamb at an expensive steak house and it’s supposed to be like that. We cook lamb at home all the time and have never had it anywhere near that dry. I would not recommend this place at all.
Food was so bland!! 🤮 Straight to the garbage. Also so overpriced. Would never ever order from here again.
Food was decent but portions were small and GROSSLY overpriced
Worst duck I've ever had. I was hoping for a special meal our last night in Waikiki and was severely disappointed. And it was so expensive on top of it! Save your money and don't bother. Everywhere else we are was amazing. Service was great, too bad it was so disappointing.
Our first time at Noi. Overly not very impressive for the service and price of the meals. We have had many Thai all over the world including Thailand food was rather ordinary . The service was also lacking as at first attentive but then once she realized we were not drinking not much attention was given. I even had to ask for a water refill. Overall very expensive for the meal and service. Not a redo.
After my spiel, they reassured me both over the phone and in person that they were able to serve Celiacs with confidence. It took me literally two bites and a speed run to the washroom to realize that was completely untrue. I left the meal 98% untouched, and informed the server that the food had made me ill and that we needed to pay ASAP so I could go back to my private hotel bathroom. Paid for everything and left in tears - the staff didn’t even apologise or offer to comp my meal. Was a great last night for our vacation. Slay Noi Thai
A nice atmosphere is present here but the food lacks punch. The dishes have a good presentation but are generally under seasoned compared to proper Thai food.
Salad as a starter and found the Coconut Panang Curry, Siam Spicy Eggplant delicious. Don't miss a great experience and Noi--the Siam Volcano dessert was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Thanks to our server Van for her extra special service.
Noi Thai Cuisine is top notch, the experience and the food were exquisite. We highly recommend this place.
Malia did a wonderful job helping me decide what to get … and she was right on !! Thank you Malia 🙏🏽
Great service and the food is excellent!! If you are looking to forgot about the sand and want a nice clean environment with genuine Thai food, this is the place to go! This time I went for the coconut panang curry with sea food with an extra side of rice! Closing with an amazing sticky rice coconut pudín.

Great place for a tourist trap. The only star for service is due to the hostess, she was kind enough to move us multiple times to choose the table without a cold a/c blowing on our head (very discomforting when you eat, or at least to us as Europeans).
Our server was terrible, arrived 5 minutes later with water, and said "you ready?" without explaining the menu, the food or anything. This is not the point that made him awful but after 3 minutes the ugly food arrived, and he barely peeked out saying "ok?" and left. Clearly not ok, as we left the whole spring rolls on the plate, because they're empty, literally just fried dough. The busser picked up the place, saying ok? When we mentioned not ok, he asked us if we wanted a box for those fried tubes. We asked if he could inform the server, which clearly wasn't and he came back with a folded bill without even a check presenter.
My apologies to all the readers for this long review, but this experience was over disappointing.
I hope someone will have better experience than us
We have been to this restaurant many times—every time we are in Waikiki we go! Sadly, we won’t be back.
Food was so poorly prepared we had to send it back. While we waited for our meal to be prepared a second time, we ordered another glass of wine (it should have been comped by management)
After an unpleasant meal, we were DOUBLE CHARGED ON OUR CREDIT CARD.
Seriously—avoid this place.
Nestled in the far corner of Royal Hawaiian Center on the 3rd floor is Noi Thai Cuisine. I travel to Waikiki often, and I was curious to try their food. I ordered fried crab wonton, Crying Tiger steak salad with rice, and coconut creme brule dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive in getting me seated. I started with the appetizer of fried crab wonton. It was golden crispy on the outside, and the filling was creamy, and with the sweet & sour sauce made it delicious. The Cryin Tiger dish was tasty, I chose to have the steak grilled at medium well and with spicy sauce level of 4 (Spicy level 1-5). After drizzling the sauce over the serving. It was addicting to eat! I liked the mix of different vegetables. But I think more Mint leaves would make it more tasty! The coconut creme brule was heavenly to enjoy, the reason it's served with a tiny spoon. It was a nice ending to this fulfilling feast. The reason for the 4 stars was the rice that was served with the Crying Tiger, came in the woven basket in a plastic bag. When I dumped it out on the plate. The rice looked like sticky rice that was scraped from the bottom of the pot. For the sake of doing this review, I did not bring this issue up to the staff. Overall, I had an enjoyable dinner, and recommend this restaurant.
We were surprised to see this restaurant only has a 4.3 Google rating, as our experience yesterday (a Saturday from about 1-2pm) was amazing. My husband and I ordered and shared the crispy garlic chicken (house specialty) and the panang curry with both the regular jasmine and coconut rice, and we had a Thai tea and mango Thai tea. Everything was both gorgeous and delicious! The service was outstanding, and we received everything we ordered in a timely manner (no wait or reservation needed since it was lunch). When giving us our bill, our waiter waited for my husband to give him his card instead of making us wait for him to come back for it. Once he saw my husband's card, he asked if he was military and recalculated our bill with a 10% military discount. Looking forward to coming back with the kids (they had some of our leftovers and thought it was delicious too)!
I took my parents with me and they were terrible. I made a reservation, but I had to wait 20 minutes even though the guests were not full.
I asked it to be cleaned again because of disgusting smell. She brought a smelly mop and cleaned it again, making it smell worse. I wanted to go outside right away, but I decided to try it harder. I said that I want to order, but they told me to wait a moment, and I took it 20 minutes later. The spring rolls weren't fried properly, and the rice noodles in the Pad Thai stuck together and became a lump. I called them because I wanted more coke, but they didn't come. It's a place I really don't want to go again.
Terrible service in a restaurant with approx 40% occupancy. Waited for over 20 minutes being ignored and not being offered a cup of water. When we decided to walk off and stated the reason, they nonchalantly said oh we’re sorry about that.
We had a wonderful time at Noi! I only wish we'd come more hungry (we'd snacked along the way as we walked the strip) so that we'd been able to try more dishes! food and atmosphere was good but we found multiple pieces of hair in our food
Amazing little Thailand in the middle of Pacific! I loved their pineapple fried rice. And if you are pregnant or looking for a non alcoholic beverage for any reason don’t miss the Waigingi here. I ordered it for myself for my toddler drank up the whole thing in two gulps. It is a drink made from coconut cream, pineapple juice and ginger hints. Just a perfect tropical blend.
The food here was decent – we had the pad see ew and crab fried rice, both of which were enjoyable. The service was friendly but oddly dismissive; we were made to wait despite the restaurant being empty, which felt unnecessary. The ambiance is nice, but unfortunately, it doesn’t quite justify the steep prices. Paying $70 for two dishes left us feeling a bit puzzled and underwhelmed overall. It’s a pretty spot, but the value just wasn’t there for us.
Way overpriced. My takeout order was for 1 person. The price was $63. The papaya salad was delicious but tiny portion. The soup was over $20 and it was a very small cup. It tasted okay. I would not return.
Ordered pineapple fried rice w/ shrimp. HOWEVER, the dish is w/o real half pineapple as the container (did not notify customer before the order) and the shirmp is STALE.
Not worth the time visiting it.
예약부터 식사까지는 더할나위 없이 좋았으나 , 마지막 계산서요구시 너무나도 오래걸려서 감점임
Good food, excellent service, OK ambiance.
This is a fast food restaurant vs a sit down cook to order restaurant. Ordered the chicken satay, the crispy garlic chicken and coconut rice. All arrived cold and fast. I’m sure they were cooked earlier in the day. Too expensive for the quality. I had better Thai food at food trucks around the island. More authentic.
Also, my boyfriend got Pad Thai and was underwhelmed. It lacked flavor.
The food here was solid! The salmon fried rice and the curry were super flavorful- definitely worth trying. I also loved the location in Seattle; it’s great to know there’s a Noi Thai here too. Such a good experience. AC was pumping and the food was great!
Yummy Thai! I had my usual dish mixed veggies with tofu, and the flavor was super good. I loved that it had shiitake mushrooms added to it which is different than other places I’ve tried this dish. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was nice. Highly recommend if in Waikiki and you are craving Thai food.
Inside the mall, Thai food. Tasty, and great service
Exquisite! Devine eats! Etiquette decorum.
More presentation than quit taste of food. Don’t recommend it
Not bad but a little pricey... service wasn't the tops
Had a great experience. Lot of vegetarian/vegan options. I had Drunken noodles, probably the best I have ever eaten and yellow thai curry was also good.
We went there more than once during our holiday because the food and the service were so outstanding, we had to come back. They offer a vide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes and I almost tasted the entire vegan menu and everything was excellent. The service is heartwarming and genuine. If you’re in the area, make sure to give this place a try. More so if you’re a vegan looking for a good meal. We will be back!
Came here for my 2nd Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we entered we were immediately greeted by the hostess, a manager and 2 waiters before we sat down. The service from our server Tanner was great. He paid great attention to the tables he worked so we were able to get what we needed when we needed it. The Thai tea with alcohol was great enough for me to order 2. If ever I make it back to Honolulu this will be my go to restaurant. Thank you once again Tanner for the Anniversary Ice Cream and the plate spelling out Happy Anniversary.
Good cocktails, very tasty Asian food. Spicy-ness level perfect. Definitely recommend for some amazing Thai food!
We have eaten here for the last 4 nights, staff is fantastic, food amazing, I cannot recommend Noi Thai enough. I am a travel agent and have many clients that come to Honolulu, I will be Definately telling them about this wonderful restaurant
The service is great, the food is acceptable for the price. I love larb (chicken), crab with grass noodle, Lobster Tomyum, and Crying tiger. There are also garlic chicken and fried rice, but I think other restaurant can do so, too. The somtum was not that bad, but I would recommend larb more than somtum since they did it much better! ❤
We had a great experience with our 11 month old at Noi Thai! They had a high chair for us and accommodated space for him. We have dietary restrictions and they specifically ask at the beginning! They have a vegetarian menu and the staff was able to help us figure out which were vegan. Van and Todd were great and made our experience wonderful! The food was so good and the perfect portion, we will definitely be back!
The staff is very friendly (aloha spirit!) love it! As a vegetarian, there are enough choices of dishes. We ordered spicy eggplant, yellow curry and vegetable rice roll. All tastes very good. Environment is decent, indoor is nicer, outdoor is a bit bright and noisy.
The food was absolutely delicious. I've reviewed 100s of thai restaurants and this has been one of my favorites when it comes to taste. The taro roll was delicious and my red curry was perfect. Despite the food being absolutely delicious, I will not come back to this establishment because they never checked on me at my table. I needed more napkins, another thai tea, and waited for some time for my bill. I watched them check every other table while they walked by me. I thought to myself it's probably because I walked in with jeans and a shirt, but who knows.
We ordered yellow curry and cashew chicken. Both arrived very quickly, hot and delicious. Service was excellent, and the room is decorated well, for an enjoyable atmosphere. We recommended this restaurant to friends that are visiting soon.
Sehr gut gegessen
We ordered the Chicken Green Curry and Crab Fried Rice. Both were heat level #2 which was perfect. Both dishes were excellent balance of flavor and authenticity. Apple was very attentive making sure our drinks were constantly topped off. We will definitely come back for more.
We dropped in without knowing anything. It was a delightful treat. Our server was Apple, and she was just marvelous. I cannot say enough good things about the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall excellence.
Apple was a phenomenal server. So attentive and fun, made our birthday girl feel very special. 10/10 would come again!
It’s an absolute GEM of a spot ! My husband and I came here for dinner(we got married earlier in the week here) made reservations on open table . We came a bit earlier we walked from the outrigger resort was about a 5 minute walk, they seated us immediately. The inside is stunning the wait staff was beyond wonderful! The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Do yourself a favor and come eat here !
Very good
Highly recommended
This is the best Thai food I have ever tried, am sad I didn’t find it sooner, eat there last day. whenever I return to Honolulu, this restaurant will be my go to😊
Amazing service and food. They found a way to find us a table right away … great plus especially with kids.
Great food and service . We ordered garlic chicken , spicy green beans , pineapple rice and salmon curry and it was all delicious . Our kids loved every bite of the food .
As soon as we walked in, the ambiance and background music hinted at what was waiting for us in this elegant and special dining experience. Our waiter, Bryan, was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended 3 perfect dishes. The fresh rolls, panang curry and the crispy garlic chicken were tremendous and a Must Have! We will be back!
Took 20 min for s server to even come by - but it wasn't busy. Food order was incorrect multiple ways. Water glasses empty for the entire meal.
Amazing service and friendly staff. Food tasted great however the welcoming personality of our server (Apple) and the manager (Jackie) made the experience even the more amazing!
Delicious Thai Food, most recommend Tom Khao Kai.
I ordered the green curry and it was delicious; the restaurant has a gorgeous atmosphere; Tanner, our waiter, was fantastic. We especially loved the drinks, we ordered the pumpkin spice aperol spritz and the Muay Thai tea. We will definitely be back to try more! A well-deserving 5/5 stars. We love this spot. Fantastic experience all around!
Our experience was not good, the food was not flavorful and pretty expensive for what you get. We got an appetizer sampler that would recommend skipping. We followed the served recommendations but the food didn’t meet the expectations. Not the servers fault at all we received a good service.
Incredible food...impeccable service.
I have really bad food anxiety and particularly love fresh restaurants but while traveling it can be hard to find good places. I love Thai food and this place is amazing. Even arriving around 8:30 service was amazing drink was amazing and the Thai food so fresh and delicious. We had such a great meal leaving with happy memories.
The Thai food in Noi definitely enhanced our experience on Waikiki beach. Had a wonderful time with the assistance of Apple here.
Excellent food and service!
Enjoyed the Massaman Curry & Mango Mojito. The server was very nice.
Sehr gutes Essen und schönes Lokal im innenbereich.
I can’t say enough good things about Noi Thai! The food was all delicious - crab wontons and crispy garlic chicken were our favorite! And our server, Apple, was so kind - she made our parents anniversary extra special. Thank you, Noi Thai - we’ll be back!
Had the Angry Ocean and Shrimp Pad Thai. Both were excellent. Service was quick and attentive. Reasonable prices for Waikiki and main tourist area. As locals, we would absolutely do another date night here.
Our server, Apple, went above and beyond. From start to finish we felt at home and well taken care of. She made us feel special on our honeymoon in a place where 80% of other tourists are also celebrating. Thanks Apple! The food was exquisite.
Such a lovely lunch at Noi! Apple was our server and she was attentive and super helpful. Even brought out a treat for my birthday!
The plum sauce with the spring rolls was unique and elevated and I quite enjoyed it. My bf had the Tom Yum Lobster tail and it was delicious. I went with classic fried rice and it was everything I was hoping for.
Definitely check this spot outb
有很好吃的素食料理
We were craving thai food after all the Poke we'd been eating. This restaurant definitely hit the spot. It' fancy and on the expensive side, but the food quality and service is excellent. We tried a few of the signature dishes, and the lobster Tom Yum was delicious. Would recommend for a special occasion.
Lovely food however do not ask for special requests if you are not going to fulfil them. It was my husband and my honeymoon and we had booked this meal for our special occasion. I notified this on the reservation where it asked for special requests but nothing was made special for us. The food was nice which is a shame as the service did not match the quality of the food.
Best Thai I have ever had! Great service from apple. Amazing atmosphere.
We had a very lovely lunch, food is so delicious and staff is very nice.
Great place we would love to visit again
We had a wonderful time at Noi! Apple provided exceptional service and some great recommendations. The manager stopped by and was so kind as well. The food was delicious, best Thai food we have had on the island! Highly recommend the Khao Soi, drunken noodles and the spring roles!
We weren't sure if they could do our dishes gluten free, but the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful.
Our meal was delicious and se were completely satisfied! Our server was, Apple, she was so helpful and took great care with our order! Thank you Apple.
We were also celebrating our two birthday and received a surprise dessert!!
We were visiting and found this restaurants while in the mall. Food was great and definitely recommended if you are in the area.
Friendly staff, delicious food, and catered well to gluten-free diets.
It was better than expected. The food was really beautiful and the service from Van was exceptional.
I’m in love: With the staff, the space, the view and the FOOD! Our server was the absolute sweetest and was very helpful in our decision making. We had the pad Thai, the crispy chicken and the eggplant Thai basil. They were very soft with the spice I would’ve enjoyed a little more spice but happy that they looked out for us! We had the ube spring rolls as a starter and they were super delicious!
I would come a million times. Prices are very reasonable for the location and the space. I would definitely dine inside every time.
I've had MUCH better Thai food for WAY WAY WAY less money. Just ok.
Best food on the island! Reminds me of Thailand!!! Thank you Apple our waitress!
We sat inside the mall, outside the restaurant. The food was very good but be careful with the service. The waitor ripped us off and gave himself a very large tip. Better check your bill and make sure you don't just sign
Visiting here from Texas and I am having the most amazing experience here. Apple our waitress is super kind and friendly. Everyone from the host to the manager has spoke to us and went above and beyond. Lastly, the food is AMAZING! So happy to be eating at this amazing restaurant.
Great food, great atmosphere. We loved our dinner at Noi and Apple was wonderful!
Apple served me and my family very well!
Always an excellent meal at Noi Thai; I stop in for dinner everytime I'm in Honolulu. Markie was the best server EVER!! Very personable and attentive which made this last visit even better.
Beautiful experience with amazing service by Bryan! Made our date night very special by bringing us a complementary treat. Make us feel really welcomed. The bartender has a heavy pour, which was nice! The food came out pretty fast and was absolutely some of the best Thai dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the khao soi!
Amazing food and wonderful service
We will definitely come back some day
The atmosphere, service, & food is amazing. My husband & I eat here often. The vegan options are delicious. I had celebrated many birthdays, anniversaries, & everyday meals at Noi Thai over the years and I have always had a wonderful, delicious experience. I highly recommend Noi Thai in Waikiki.
Excellent for gluten free. Food was lovely. Service was great. Will do again

Food was great, atmosphere was nice quiet with good decor. Our server Apple had great recommendations and was an exceptional server.
I visited Waikiki the end of July. We ate at Noi Thai and I had the fresh rolls and coconut panang curry. Both were very good. Bryan was our server and he was very attentive and nice. I definitely recommend eating here if you ever visit Waikiki.
Fine dining Thai cuisine in Oahu. This is the fanciest Thai restaurant that my wife and I have dined in. And there is no place better than being in the heart of Oahu at the Royal Hawaiian Center. We can start of with the atmosphere that is amazing and upscale for dining Thai cuisines. Normally, Thai foods are in a relaxed laid back setting. As shown in the video this is fine dining that requires reservations and also bigger pockets than most Thai restaurants. We had the drunken noodle and the cashew chicken. Since my wife and I are connoisseurs of Thai cuisines, I can say that the drunken noodle here is fair the flavor is on point and well done. The dishes aren’t that pricey for upscale place but it is definitely more expensive than other Thai food places in the area. Expect to spend around $40 a person. The portions are fair and not too small. I do want to point out that we are erroneously served with Spring rolls to our table but it was then taken away and then returned back out to the table next to us by another waiter. We thought the right thing to do is to leave us the plate. They are also very careful with the fancy napkin holder as it is shown to you only in the beginning but the waiter will quickly take the fancy napkin holder away as soon as you take the napkin out. We would go there again.
Apple was amazing and the food is the best.
Hands down the best Thai we have ever tasted . The crispy spring rolls were delightfully crispy and packed with goodness, flavorful and mouthwatering. The Crying Tiger was cooked perfectly, moist and tender. The pineapple fried rice was loaded with pineapple and pork whose flavors complemented each other perfectly. The service was impeccable.
Food was amazing! My daughters have Celiac’s and the waitress Apple was very knowledgeable. Service was 5 star worthy!
I went here with my family and most of us, including me, were happy with our food. However, the dinner was unfortunately ruined by our arrogant waiter.
They have a system where they ask each person how they'd like the spicyness from 1-5. I enjoy spicy food and ask for a 5 while my mom does not and asks for a 2. When we get our food, hers is extremely spicy while mine barely is at all. I'm fine with it but for my mom it's inedible. Naturally we ask the waiter if there's been a mix up but he shows that he entered the order correctly. We ask if maybe the kitchen misread it, but he disregards it and just says that is how her dish is supposed to be, also questioning her whether she's used to eating spicy food. I ask how it's possible that her dish being a 2 is much spicier than my dish being a 5, and he replies that the spiciness scale is different for each dish because they are cooked differently. I tell him it doesn't make any sense since it's not stated when ordering, but he nonchalantly replies "that's how thai food is" (not being thai himself I might add). So he doesn't bother checking with the kitchen, doesn't offer a new plate and doesn't offer to take it off the bill. Not the experience we expected unfortunately.
It's also worth mentioning that the front of house seemed quite uninterested in helping us when we arrived, very uncaring attitude. We will not be coming back to say the least.
I ordered through DD one night at work - the larb, black rice pudding and papaya salad was so delicious. Can't wait to try it again!
Non mi sono piaciute le pietanze che ho mangiato, tuttavia il servizio è buono
Great food, they were very accommodating (Gluten Intolerance) and the food was great. Johnny (server) was fantastic.
Hard to find good nutritious vegan food in Waikiki, but this place is a great option. I got the wraps and they were super tasty and the sauce was amazing and not spicy at all (I really value that). My partner got VG pad Thai and enjoyed that as well.
Food portions are extremely small for the price.
I have returned to Noi many times. They have never failed to serve me and my guest an exceptional meal. The service is professionally performed and I am especially pleased with the service from Apple. Their menu has many choices that will satisfy any variation of taste.
Food was delicious. Apple was a great server!
Apple in Honolulu is amazing! Great service. Amazing food.
It’s good. Food is yummy, good flavors, fresh, variety, lots of meat and vegetarian options. I recommend the shrimp cakes and garlic fried chicken. Wonderful staff. Friendliest waiters. Good atmosphere inside and outside and it’s on top of the mall just off the beach and the rest of Waikiki. Great place to end or start your night!
Visited in June with my family while on vacation at the recommendation of someone staying at the same hotel us and we were not disappointed. We were seated right away, and our waiter was so nice and answered any questions we had as it was some of my families first time having Thai food. The drinks and the food were delicious. I wish I had photos to share but as soon as the food was placed in front of us, we all started eating. Will definitely visit here again when we go back to Honolulu.
Felt a little rushed, they served apps with our main entree, wish they had waited 20 minutes between courses!! Great meal!!
Apple was a terrific hostess and the food was delicious- Excellent customer service and we will back
Black noodles are great, waitress Apple was very friendly :~}
I had Noi Thai for the first time last week! Bryan was my server & he was amazing! he recommended I try the swimming Rama or mixed veggie dish. I tried the swimming Rama and loved it! I will definitely be back and bring my friends next time! Highly recommend!
Good was delicious and appreciated the vegetarian options. Our waitress Apple was lovely and gave excellent service.
Lovely food and great service
Rancid curry caused upset stomach all night. Very upset with the food, dishonesty, and way the staff handled it tonight. This is our second time at Noi. I ordered the same penang curry since it's one of my favorite thai dishes. This time it tasted very different... the curry was sour and a little tangy. I thought it was strange and I didn't want to send it back, so I ate about half of the dish.
My stomach became upset and I had two other people taste test it to see if they could tell. We all agreed something was wrong with it and I wanted to give staff the heads up that something needed to be checked in the kitchen. We weren't expecting to not pay for the dish, since I chose to continue to eat it. I just wanted to be nice and inform them about it.
The guy told me next time, tell us earlier not so late and he was going to have the chef taste it. He came back and told us it's supposed to taste like that and he and our server kept asking if I wanted something else. Penang is not supposed to taste sour. Why would I want to eat something else when I have an upset stomach? If the server came to check up on us, we would've told her earlier. The person who checked on us was not the server.
We didn't appreciate the dishonesty about the curry and to be treated like we just wanted a free meal. There were 3 staff members involved and not one apologized.
We also noticed our portions are so much smaller also. Please be more considerate of the customer needs and not just money. Not all of us are out for free food. We don't understand why the curry is not fresh since you had just opened.
Noi Thai in Waikiki Royal Hawaiian Center is a beautifully appointed restaurant with a feeling of elegance. The food and service was amazing and I have a new favorite to visit on my annual trips to Waikiki Beach. Best drunken noodles and shrimp I have had in ages. Very reasonable prices.
