Our business have expanded from our other locations. We want to bring more of our food to the locals community and visitors. A family owned business with a passion for food and customer satisfaction. The family brings their passion for flavor with them from Thailand to downtown Hilo, Hawaii. They use creativity to make a unique style of food and drinks.
I was so excited to finally get to try this newer spot, and was very satisfied with the experience overall!
It has a really beautiful interior design, with a great mural, decadent tablecloths, and comfortable chairs.
Our server was approachable, friendly and helpful. I loved that the water offered was lightly and perfectly infused with citrus and maybe other fresh flavors.
As far as the food I can say hands down they have the best fresh fried spring rolls in town. They are soooo light and flaky crispy with the perfect amount of all ingredients. Other than that I highly recommend the spicy noodle dish, it is a huge serving of noodles and veggies where everything is cooked perfectly.
We asked for medium heat and it was still very very mild. I understand they are probably playing it safe, but we just asked for a side of chili sauce that we spread over the noodles and they were divine.
Went around happy hour and it was relatively empty, so we got super prompt service, fresh food and didn’t feel rushed or crowded at all.
I like the curries at some other Thai places in town, but this is the place to go for spring rolls and noodle dishes for sure!
Go check it out and support them!
Stopped here for lunch. Lots of items to choose from and different spices levels. Plus lots of gluten free options. Large portions great for sharing. The food came out really quick and piping hot. Everything was so delicious. Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had! Check it out!
10/10 or 5/5 I guess. The food was amazing and portions were bigger than my appetite and made for a great dinner the next day.
Medium spicy is good and as someone who likes spicy but doesn’t want to underestimate the Thai spicy scales at restaurants, had a slow build and didn’t cause me any distress.
We’ve eaten here several times before but last night we went and there was actually a line to get in. We were seated and you can see that the people working were non stop from table to table, neglecting no one. We ordered our food and hardly waited before it showed up steaming hot and absolutely delicious! All the servers, with all the stress of being so busy were happy and calm every moment to everyone. Honestly, my spouse and myself were talking and this has to be our favorite place on this island to eat and yes… we live here.
Accidentally ended up coming to this place and didn’t regret it. The best spring rolls. Eveything else was great too, the spring rolls are out of this world! The portions are huge and the service is great. Can not think of anything that we did not like. They are new , that is why they don’t have a lot of reviews but let’s fix it !!😊
Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review, and I hate doing that.
I ordered the chicken pad thai at their spiciest level.
My girlfriend ordered the panang curry.
Our waitress genuinely seemed annoyed to have to be dealing with our table.
That part isn't what irked me.
The drinks were awesome (Thai iced tea)
On to the complaints.... I ordered the spiciest option they had for the pad Thai. The food they brought me had *literally* zero spice. None. It's like they forgot to add chilis or something. I'm not trying to exaggerate, but this pad Thai was the blandest I have ever had. My spice-hating girlfriend even tried it and was shocked.
I asked the waitress if they had any hot sauce that I could hopefully add to it because I wanted a super spicy pad Thai.
She brought me a small cup of hot sauce and I immediately dumped it all in, which seemed to annoy her. The lil cup of hot sauce still wasn't enough. Back when this place was called Sombats they didn't mess around with spiciness. Perhaps I should take some blame assuming they would be similar, but dude this food was the furthest thing from spicy. It's like if a Midwestern grandma made pad Thai for the first time.
My gf's panang curry only suffered a few tiny bites because the meat smelled and tasted off. Our chickens didn't even touch the leftover beef.
Not a good sign for a new restaurant.
I've worked in the restaurant biz, I know just how hard it actually is, and therefore I hate to leave negative reviews. But I had to this time.
Will NOT be returning
The portions were quite large, but I ordered the drunken noodles and they didn’t have any flavor and it was mostly noodles and hardly any veggies. I ordered spicy and there was zero spice to it. The person answering the phone was really friendly, but I won’t be back.

Huge portions, good quality, spiced to order.

The service as soon as I walked in the door was excellent, the food was beautiful and fresh. Definitely recommend for great Thai in Hilo!
The food and staff were amazing

Did lunch take out. Green papaya salad, yellow chicken curry, and pad Thai noodle
Was delicious
Every item was delicious. Recommended.
Food was good. Service was good and the portions were huge. We were staying at a hotel nearby so the location was great and everyone enjoyed there meals.
Great food and service and chill spot
Lovely people! Terrific food! Good prices..... so what more could you ask for? Thank you for a wonderful lunch on behalf of myself and my family.

I ordered the $18 chiang mai fried rice with beef and it was very disappointing. The rice was super mushy and the beef was full of gristle. My wife ordered spicy noodles and had them add mushrooms for extra charge, we got home and they charged us but never put mushrooms in the dish. My wife said her spicy noodles were good other than missing the mushrooms. We were really hoping it would be as good as Sombats (the restaurant that was there before they recently moved in) but it wasn’t even close! I was super bummed, really hoped it would be better for the money they charge.
Absolutely fantastic food. The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated. If we have time, we will definitely be back. Don't hesitate to stop here if you like Thai food. Did I mention the huge portions? We had coconut soup, pad Thai, and papaya salad. Enough for two meals for two people. Delicious!
Fast and edible with friendly service!
Fried won tons, 🍍 pineapple fried rice and garlic pepper chicken 🐓
Absolutely fresh vegetables, tender beef, perfect green curry. Yum!
My new favorite Hilo eatery!!
I'm SO looking forward to having tonight's leftovers tomorrow.

We were a party of 6 and after paying our bill discovered an undisclosed $30.00 upcharge. Searching their menu reveals that there does not appear to be a disclosure of this policy. Unfortunately we paid cash (and tipped on the higher amount including surcharge) and cannot protest. Be careful when eating here.
Best calamari I’ve ever had. Huge portions, great for families. We’d definitely return.
Food was amazing, cozy atmosphere, and service is as expected. Ordered Spring rolls, dumplings, chicken pad Thai, cashew chicken, and chicken fried rice.
This place is phenomenal. From the chill decor to the fantastic food, everything was perfect. I'm gluten intolerant, so I was happy to see that I could eat most of the items on the menu.

Wish I had taken a photo of the food, but it was eaten really quickly! Great portion sizes and tasty food.
