We love baan Thai. They have great Thai curry, and it's close to home. They are true to Thai hot, and if you want to sweat just let them know you like it spicy. Baan Thai got my wife into Thai curry, and I thank them for that. Restaraunt space is small though, so please remember that if you want to dine in.

We have eaten here since they opened and have loved it until recently. Inflation has affected everyone, including restaurants which is completely understandable. This place has always been an awesome value for the portion until recently. Not only has the price increased, but the to-go trays are now smaller. What used to be a great value is now no more. Still great food, just not the best value anymore. We probably won't come back until prices drop or portions go back to what they were.

Yellow curry was the best I’ve had in awhile. Tofu was the perfect consistency and the roti was 🧑‍🍳 😘 will be back!

One of those hole in the wall places with amazing food!! The service was also exceptional. We are not local but I would come back to this place in a heartbeat if I am in the area.

They got my order completely wrong, so I had to drive nearly an hour to bring it back and when I got there they would not replace it even though it was not what I ordered nor what was on the receipt.
It was very difficult to get a refund even though they refuse to make what I actually ordered and replace it for the incorrect order they sent me with.
And then when they did give me the refund they took the bag of food directly out of my hands and set it on the counter behind them when I pointed out it needed to be thrown in the trash can right beside the counter and not laid on the counter to be served to someone else the guy started to act as if he couldn't understand English when he was speaking it perfectly moments before.
Oh and one thing I did notice from the incorrect order they sent us with is that their sushi and tempura rolls are half the size in diameter of what they used to be and the length of the sushi roll is shorter now too.
Their prices have gone up yet the amount of food served has been decreased.

Great Thai food with lots of fresh veggies. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We stopped off I75 on our way to Atlanta and it was only about 5 minutes off the highway. Food came out very quickly.

Met friends for dinner having heard this was the real deal and was not disappointed.
The three entrees and two appetizers ordered by the table were hot, freshly made and authentic. The fried dumplings had a nice filling and the curry I had was the best I've had since moving here 5+years ago.
My companion's pho and entree were also highly complimented and eagerly devoured.
Prices are reasonable and service was good. Not a fancy interior but clean and serviceable.
I highly recommend checking this little golden nugget in Ringgold.

Look, the food and people are so great, it is the atmosphere. The Pho is PHOnominal. Chicken Satay...perfect if you get there before they run out!

The new white kid made my husband wait for almost an hour for his fried roll. We arrived there and five groups of two and got their food before my husband. We went up there three different times and he kept saying it's going to be a minute, and in the fourth time he said he was the one that was supposed to make it. Finally, he went back there and made the food. My husband lost his appetite and got his food to go. They didn’t offer anything for the wait. The kid said he only had to take orders and make sushi…. It shouldn’t have taken that long. He should be fired. If he would’ve told us, Hey, it’s going to take longer for sushi, my husband wouldn’t have ordered it, But why did it take him on the fourth time of asking about where my husband food was only for him to go back and make it when I saw him a few times just standing at the front desk? We used to love this place, but if we see him there again, we will walk out.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a dine-in this cheap before. The quality of the food is excellent and it tastes pretty good. Service is good too. I love the bidets.

I got the Thai tea boba with tapioca and pho. My wife got the red curry and coffee boba with tapioca. Service was fast and friendly. The tapioca was slightly undercooked which was disappointing. The pho was great as was the red curry.

EDIT: I went back this weekend and the tapioca was undercooked again. I will probably not get boba tea from here again. The food was great though.

Delicious! Everything was so good! The owner was very sweet and kind to our children. We will certainly be back! We had the chicken and shrimp pad Thai, teriyaki chicken and spring roll. Everything tasted fresh!

We went for the first time today! Everything is from scratch, is authentic and delicious! If you are wanting some good Thai food, you need to stop here. The host was extremely friendly and talked to us a lot while we ate, we really liked that he was so nice. I’m so glad we don’t have to travel from tunnel hill to Chattanooga for some good authentic Asian food, we just have to go down the road! Yall are awesome, keep up the good work!

A blind guy, a pregnant lady and a caveman walked in on a Friday afternoon ravenous. We were instantly greeted and welcomed by Jay, the son of the owner. He answered all of our questions and then some. He didn't shy away when we each ordered 2 entrees. And when we asked for our food to be extra spicy, it not only brought tears to our eyes but it was fresh and piping hot. The papaya salad was phenomenal, tangy, spicy and juicy. The red curry and tom yum were filling and all of the flavors were spot on. I wish I could remember the name of what the blind guy ordered but I believe it was similar to drunken noodles with shrimp and steak and again, delicious. In the end we even added sticky mango rice and it was warm and sweet and luscious. We left with 2 menus and the promise to return frequently. This is hands down the best Thai food we have ever had and the friendly people make it even better.

My wife, daughter and myself had a delicious lunch on Saturday. We had Green Papaya salad, Panang Curry 2 ways (Chicken & Tofu) and Teriyaki Chicken.

This was our first time eating Thai and we were extremely surprised by how good the food was. We ordered the pad Thai, coconut soup, fried dumplings, egg rolls and the spicy crab roll. Everything was fantastic and we will come back every chance we get. The fried dumplings were my favorite by far.

One of the few authentic Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to in the United States. Also you can order online ahead of time and the employees are willing to have you dine in based on an online order, which is unique. The excellent food more than makes up for the simple atmosphere with its rich and authentic flavor!

My Ringgold FAVORITE! I love this place! Have ordered/eaten here almost daily for the last 2 months. Great food, amazing service, good people. Food is exceptional at an affordable price. Menu offers a wide variety from Japanese to traditional Thai. I can have my Pho and my picky eaters can have their chicken teriyaki. It’s a win win for us!

Wow. The Thai food here was really freaking amazing. We had the tofu pad see ew, tom yum soup, fried dumplings, and tofu pad Thai. All were so good - like some of the best Thai either of us have had before. Service was fast, although there was hardly anyone there when we sat down. The atmosphere is fine, it’s just your good ‘ol strip mall small dining area. I would eat here again in a heartbeat, especially to go food.

Let's get the negatives out of the way. This space has been about 3 different types of restaurants in the last 20 years. The shopping center is old. The place is crowded and a little uncomfortable.
There.
My absolute favorite dish is sweet and sour chicken. The chicken is fried, but sits in a light sweet and sour sauce with veggies and pineapple.
My second favorite thing to get there is mango and sticky rice.
The service is as prompt as they can be with the volume of orders and the 3 people running it. They are always friendly.
Truly a hidden gem in Ringgold.

Everything I got was great! Hit the spot. I got coconut chicken soup (my favorite) Thai iced tea (my other favorite). Philly roll sushi. Red curry and beef thai fried rice (togo). For a order at the counter restaurant they it was a nice atmosphere, asian music playing clean tables (seat 6). They had a variety of asian dishes (Japanese and Thai menu) So nice to have thai food in Ringgold. I will be back.

A really nice family owned Thai restaurant, the staff are very friendly. The food is top notch. The panang curry is some of the best I've ever had. They also do Thai wings fried with this super crunchy batter. They don't have a huge sushi selection but it's perfect every time the rice is always perfectly cooked and the ingredients are always fresh. Baan Thai has become our new favorite Thai restaurant in the Chattanooga area hands down .

The service was great. As a vegetarian the server took the time to verify ingredients to be sure I could eat what we were ordering. The food was delicious and filling.

My wife is Thai so we were incredibly happy when we discovered that we had an authentic Thai restaurant in Ringgold! The business is family ran and operated - they are very sweet and make excellent Thai food. We felt like we were back in Thailand 🇹🇭 . Would highly recommend, and if you don’t know what to get, there are a lot of options to choose from and the prices are great.

Came in from Chattanooga for the Dolly 5K and ate here. We ordered the pho and the pad thai. Really fantastic dishes, probably better than I have had in Chattie. The fresh herbs really stood out in the dishes. This place is a hidden gem! Definitely recommend the Thai dishes.

This place used to be really good but has new owners as of 7 months ago. The portions are much smaller and food quality is not as good as before. Staff is nice but they have a lot of work to do.

Just found out this is a family business that is very close. I've been coming here for awhile and it is great food. The Rangoon has a sweet taste to it. Sounds bad but it is executed perfectly with you craving more.

Fabulous food and wonderful customer service. We were passing through and showed up 30 min prior to closing, with 4 hungry/tired kids. We were served up wonderful food with a smile and a warm welcome. Kids said we need to stop here every time we travel between Florida and indiana. Would give this place 10 stars if I could.

I wish it was better. We ordered sushi at 6 PM and didn't receive our order until 6:40 PM! So the hot items we received we cold and greasy by the time we got them. The girl at the front didn't communicate with us until I asked. Also when we got the sushi there was a very thin piece of salmon in there. Not worth the money or time!

Terrible and expensive sushi, Im not even sure you can call it sushi. The Sushi combo cost $17.99. We ordered takeout and when we opened it we were confused. The sushi rolls are thick, about an inch of nasty old rice around dry old filling. Heed the warning and save yourself the bad experience. We were starving and tried to eat it but it was just not good at all.

Went when they first open and I thought it was pretty good! Went back tonight and got a California roll and there was so much Nasty tasting rice, was so sticky and dry feeling. Took one bite spit it out. Had a steak hibachi that was just bland no sauce on the meet or veggies just dry. Won’t even be back.

This place is GREAT! Great food wise and price wise. We just had 4 different sushi and they were all GREAT. The Teriyaki Chicken plate is awesome. It could fill up 2 people and the price is like a lunch/happy hour price. We will be going back MULTIPLE times.

I ate there for the first time last week. The food was outstanding! I ordered a to-go order of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with fried rice and vegetables. The pieces of shrimp was very large and the chicken was very juicy. I particularly liked the way they cut the vegetables very thin as opposed to the large cuts served at most places.. The amount of food served was enough for 2 people and was under $10.00!

we sat here for 40 minutes waiting for a simple order of fried rice and 2 sushi rolls, to fix it they gave us a free drink. not fast and doesn’t seem to care much for lack of service.
