This place is amazing, my new favorite go to Thai restaurant in Norcross. The worker Matthew made my experience very enjoy since they only provide pickup and no longer dine in. Matthew provided wonderful service, he gave us great recommendations with the curry pineapple fried rice, chicken pad Thai, and the crispy curry rangoons. Overall this place is amazing and I’ll definitely be back!

I'm truly sorry if you take offense at my review, but you need to learn how to be nice- even when consumers are being stupid. Have an alternative in mind and make mention of it. I've only tried to honestly report on how I was treated. Statistically speaking- if you receive 5 star ratings from here on out- it is possible that my observations will lose relevance quickly. There's hope. And maybe you were just having a bad day. Thats possible, too. And when thats happening you need to recognize it and put on your happy face anyway. Retail food service thrives on people that are hospitable. Great food helps, but if the people are grumpy there's no amount of skill in the kitchen that can overcome a frown at the front door. We loved this place! We missed Thai food since we just came back from Thailand. And the food from this place hit the sweet spot. Tom yum soup was very authentic and delicious. Three flavor chicken and kra pao sod(?) were really great! The service was friendly and nice. We will definitely go back!

Been to 25+ thai restaurants. Their green curry is inedible. Though asked for spicy, the flavor is mild. More importantly, the taste is just bad. Cant believe it’s 4.8 start thai restaurant.

Pad thai was just okay. Giving it 2.5 stars and crispy shrimp roll was the only good one.

Stumbled upon this place on the way to our hotel in Duluth, and so glad we did. Matthew was super friendly and helpful with the menu. We got the shrimp rolls to share and they were amazing. I got the chicken stir fry and my girl got the Pad See ew. Both were amazing and full of flavor. The spice level wasn’t as high as i thought it would be with the medium, so I’ll definitely order the hot next time. Definitely coming back when I’m back in the area.

It's take out only but great service!

Once they accidentally gave me fried rice when I ordered something else, but it was the best fried rice I've had. It's hard to go wrong with this place

1.5-year edit: The fried rice is still exceptional. Even for delivery, it's served very hot and flavorful which is something important that not too many places seem to get right for me (and it then ends up tasting like lukewarm cardboard)

Absolutely delicious food that makes you want more and outstanding customer service. It's always a pleasure eating here.

This is the best Thai food around. I drive from Buckhead because nothing beats Siamese Basil’s food. And even as I’m typing out this review my husband and I are making plans to drive up for dinner take-out.

Ordered the massaman curry and the red curry, service was the absolute best, super nice and respectful. The food was super affordable for how AMAZING it tasted! Also had spring rolls that were seasoned to perfection. All in all a wonderful experience and I WILL be coming back for more. I’m vegan by the way and my boyfriend isn’t.

Their food and service are amazing!!! We were looking for a good Thai place and man did we find it! Ordered chicken satay and curry rangoons then panang seafood, red curry, pad thai, and papaya salad. Everyone loved their dishes! I'm a mild spicy usually so medium heat was good for me but one person ordered the hottest (she was warned) yet was slightly miserable. Lol. It was still delicious! Also, we loved our waiter -- Matthew!! He gave helpful recommendations, provided quick service despite how busy they were, and was very very funny too! Definitely check it out if you get the chance!

I just want to say WOW! My husband and I are from out of town, and wanted to eat Thai food. We ordered the green thai chicken curry, drunken noodles, garlic duck, and massaman chicken curry. All I have to say was Amazing flavor! The owner was wonderful and very attentive. Orders are only take out. We definitely are coming back to this little Gem.

Their staff is always super friendly & make it a point to ask how long it will take you to get there so they ensure your food is as fresh as possible. They still haven’t opened the dining room post pandemic however it doesn’t stop us from going. Flavors are there and quality doesn’t disappoint.

I ate there last week for the first time and got the Massaman Curry, Basil Rice, Curry Rice, and the shrimp rolls. Drove from Snellville during traffic time but I am so glad I did. The food was great, especially for the price point. The young man that was there provided great service! Very friendly. Will definitely swing back around.

Ordered through Uber Eats so you expect the food to be a little lukewarm and extra wet. Not so at all. They take care to package their to go orders to maintain the texture and flavor perfectly. With fresh banana leaves no less (very nice touch).

We were not extremely hungry but figured we would want leftovers so we ordered 3 entrees and some spring rolls on the side. The entrees (pad Thai and drunken noodles) were so good we devoured every last piece. The red curry entree was supposed to be lunch later but that was so good we ate half of it before stopping.

The flavors are 100% authentic and perfect. I’ve made my own Thai red curry and pad Thai from scratch many times and everything tasted home made and you can easily identify the fresh ingredients. Their food is made with love and care and it comes through in the flavors. Honestly I only picked this place because I had a promo code and Uber Eats suggested it. If you want real authentic Thai food, look no further. My only complaint is that wish they had a papaya salad appetizer!

I haven’t even tasted the food but I had to drop a review about how amazing the customer service was. I called with 17 minutes til they closed and placed an order. I was only 6 minutes away so they agreed to wait. When I arrived the server was waiting for me and they were preparing my food. After I paid he asked me to sit in my car and he would bring it out. He was so polite the entire time and he ran out to bring me my order. He even threw in a sweet tea. It may seem minimal to some but I thoroughly enjoy a great experience. I’ll be back if I stay in the area again: I’ll also review the food when I’ve had a chance to try it lol

Siamese Basil has my absolute favorite Pad Thai. Not to mention the customer service is OUTSTANDING! They are so warm and welcoming. Just a mention to whoever visits, as far as I am aware of it is still takeout only. Please so not let this deter you as it is worth the visit a hundred times over!

I’ve been here a couple times now and I am very satisfied with the service and food. Mathew was super nice, friendly and informative when I asked questions .I got the Chicken Panang Curry and the Thai coffee. The panang curry is really really good and has the right amount of spice. The Thai coffee is sweet, creamy and strong, it’s perfect. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good Thai food.

This is my family's favorite place to get Thai food. It is always so delicious and hot every when we get home. Everything that we have ordered there is yummy so I feel like you can't go wrong with anything you get here. The gentleman that runs the restaurant is so friendly and personable and greatly enjoys you as customer. We used to dine here when they were open before covid and it was nice inside. Definitely gives a mom and pop vibe. 10/10 I would recommend this place.

Top tier customer service. The host and main server is attentive, honest about wait times, and very kind. The food is excellent. Some dishes I would suggest are Three Flavor Chicken it is lightly fried, and deliciously Spicer. Ginger Chicken, Pad Thai, and coconut soup are also delicious. Everything comes in varrying spice levels. I highly recommend trying coconut soup with some extra spice.

We moved to Atlanta about a year ago and have been on the hunt for our go-to Thai place ever since. Siamese Basil Thai is THE BEST!!! The food is incredible and somehow the service is even better. Once we place an order online we get a call to confirm when we'll be arriving so the food is hot. You just don't get that kind of treatment these days!! We will be lifelong customers!!!

Great Thai place, it's low key but those are some of the best spots. The garlic duck is bomb and they probably have the best pad Thai I've tasted so far. I can't recommend this place enough!

I am always impressed with their food and the service. Today they surprised me with portion size, I was not expecting the size to be that small. One person needed three meals! Hello, yes inflation is on but can u please give enough food for the average person?

The food was tasty, basil stir fry and garlic stir fry but was a small portion of food and both were $15 bucks, i'll order somewhere else next time.

BEST THAI IN ATLANTA!! Seriously, the food here is consistently fresh and tasty. The crispy veggie rolls are addictive, and the Thai Tea is the best I've had in or out of Georgia. And if that wasn't enough, the customer service is exemplary. This place has such a high rating for a reason. I recommend the pad thai and the spicy catfish. If you're looking for a sign, let this be it - go! You will not be disappointed.

Never know how to order Thai or Asian food, but I thought I would give this place a try via food delivery. It was delicious! Followed directions on the app order and the food was so fresh and delicious!

First time in my life eating Thai and LET ME TELL YOU........ IT WAS BUUUUUUUUUSIN'!!!!!!!?????? (For those who don't know what that means, it pretty much means that it was better than expected and I'm definitely going back as a MEGA regular customer 😋🙃). First the service was amazing and the cashier/server asks your name to engage in conversation, he even remembered my family members names who frequent the restaurant even after a while of not seeing them. He has a very warm, welcoming and pleasant attitude. Even if you don't like Thai, his personality will make you want to come and just enjoy the good vibes. Having an off kinda day, Siamese Basil Thai is a great place to turn that frown ☹️upside down🙂. I had the 3 Flavor chicken and Mild Drunken Noodles. It was enough to share with my 3 little ones and everyone was full. But the kicker was the awesome mistake of ordering the chilled Chai Thai ice tea 🤤Never had it before..... let's just say I had one ordered, drunk it in the car while waiting for my food and went in for another ten minutes later. It was THAT good. It's pretty sweet, like a liquid dessert on ice. Give it a try, you'll probably ask for an entire pitcher. 🧡🌺💕

I have never in my life had a noodle dish where I would be happy to eat only noodles, until now. I don't usually like noodles/bread/etc. much at all, in any cuisine, but this place is exceptional. The noodles in the Pad See Ew are fantastic. My sister has also really enjoyed her food every time, especially the spice. Not only is their food shockingly good, but so is their service. They really set an incredibly high bar. If I move to another part of Atlanta, I'll still drive here for my Thai.

The food is great, the service is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. There are a bunch of pretty good Thai restaurants near me, but I'm willing to drive 20 minutes each way to get the outstanding food here. My son usually gets a rice or noodle dish, my wife usually gets a stir fry dish, and I usually get a curry dish (the amazing curry really is amazing). They do a great job of making each dish with the spice and heat level that we each want, and it's all great. I get mine Thai hot, and it makes me sweat, but I don't think the heat hides the flavor; it accentuates the flavors. Keep up the great work!

Siamese Basil & Matthew have been one of my favorite parts about living in Norcross! The curry Rangoons are a must try, very unique and yummy. I love the coconut soup and of course the curry varieties. Consistently a pleasure.

Matthew’s customer service is impeccable and this man needs some recognition. While at the moment they are only open for take out (at least when I went) I would love the full experience of dining there. Great customer service and delicious food. 10/10 recommend! I’d never been there before and my fiancé said we should give it a try. The food was piping hot, well seasoned, and a good value. The service was wonderful both on the phone and in person. Super quick turnaround time for pick-up. We will be ordering from them again!

This is hands down the BEST Thai place OTP NE. Every dish is so flavorful. I have to get three or four dishes and share because I can't decide which is my favorite. The pad Thai and fried rice hits different than any other I've had. The only down side is that they're only open for take out right now, but it's still worth it. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating.

Did a pick up door dash order from this place. My order wasn't ready when the app said it would be. The guy was really nice and prompt when I inquired about the order. And he threw in a free coke for the wait!

The Thai food is delicious and authentic. Definitely try the Pad See Ew and the Massaman or Panang curries. The service and courtesy is outstanding. When I called to order, Matthew (host, front of house) asked my arrival time to ensure the food would be at its freshest when I arrived. He took the time to thank me by name and walked the food out to my car when ready. Impeccable service and warmth. Do not be fooled by the surrounding area. Siamese Basil is a hidden gem, tucked away in a half burned down strip mall. I highly suggest trying them out.

Super tasty and fresh tasting. One of my favorite spots for my staple of green curry and Thai tea. Love it. Customer service is on point as well. The guy at the front made my day several times I’ve came in and is awesome. They go way out of their way to be better than most places I’ve been to. Much appreciated

My go-to location for Thai. The family that runs this place is super nice, especially Matthew. My wife and I come here so often that upon calling in an order, Matthew instantly knows me by voice. Our favorite items on the menu are the Masaman curry, green curry and coconut soup but we've never been disappointed with any of the other various dishes we've ordered here. This is a small operation so when they get busy, wait times can be a bit long so just be patient.

Siamese Basil is still my top choice for Thai food. Like other restaurants, COVID has not been kind to them and half of the plaza recently experienced a fire which the landlord has not yet repaired. The restaurant was thankfully not damaged. Do to these factors, the restaurant now only offers delivery and carryout (and catering). Given all of this, their food quality remains high however, the menu has been paired down a bit and focuses on the more popular items. Tonight, we ordered the Masaman Curry and Pad Thai, both with chicken, and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We will continue to place Siamese Basil as number 1 on our list when the craving for Thai hits.

Basil fried rice is delicious. They actually adhere to whatever heat you select, unlike most other places I’ve been to. I got hot and am having to take a time out and regroup before I keep going - but that’s how I like it! Delicious, thank you.

The food here is delicious! The service is excellent! The curry rangoons are a fun twist I recommend trying them. Great restaurant, my friend who had never tried any Thai takeout loved the garlic beef, she said it had great flavor, more flavor than any other takeout restaurants nearby

This place is fantastic. Right now it is just doing takeout due to COVID. When I called to clarify my order that I put in online, the server (I assume based on other reviews is Matthew, the owner's son) was extremely polite, considerate, and accommodating of my request. When arriving at the restaurant, he immediately offered my husband and me drinks while we waited and took our order out to our car when it was ready. I was blown away by how thoughtful and considerate he was even during the evening rush. Thank you so much for a phenomal experience, and, of course, phenomenal food -- per usual!

Ordered delivery and the food was amazing. I had the basil fried rice medium and it was spicyyyyy. I should’ve listened to the reviews and got mild. I also and the 3 flavor chicken it was also delicious. Will be ordering here more often.

Been wanting to try this spot for a while because I saw good ratings, finally ordered. Went to pick it up and was surprised to see the set up but I think that is because of post Covid doesn’t look like they’ve fully opened back up yet. However the young man working there was super pleasant and brought my food out to the car so I wouldn’t have to wait inside. Got home and immediately dug in. Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had since moving down here from NY 3 years ago. 10/10 highly recommend if you’re looking for great Thai food.

Just had a recent visit today 5/12/22-they were about to closed almost and I was very impressed with the overall service at the front. I just move here recently from the west coast; The food was amazing. I will be coming back again definitely. I simply wanted to try something differently and you can’t go wrong with this place. Good it’s hot, fresh and delicious.

Ordered crispy calamary that wasn't crispy but still delicious. Ordered yum steak salad & seafood salad. Small portions but packed a big punch of flavor and was very delicious!!. Will definitely order again. Great, friendly customer service from the young man at the counter.

Amazing food and Matt is super nice.

They reopened for pick up (as of now)! Visited for the first time after 15 years last weekend and the food was tasty as per what I’ve remembered. Always a big fan of their spring rolls and curry. I’ll visit them again for sure, though gotta drive for like an hour. But, hey, it’s worthy!

Hands down the best Thai Fried Rice in the area and maybe in the city as far as I’m concerned. We have had folks come in from different states and countries and they all love the food here. We get the Seafood fried rice and it always tastes fresh. We’ve been coming here for a few years and so far have NEVER been disappointed.

Everything about this place is phenomenal. Best Thai I've ever had, and the spice is on point. Extremely friendly and fast service too. Got the pad Thai with tofu and the 3 flavor chicken, both were big portions and delicious. Only negative is that this isn't closer to where I live.

Not only were our curries really...really good, but this was by FAR the best takeout customer service interaction I've had. They called to confirm how far out we were (he noticed the out of state billing address) so the food would be hot when we arrived, and when we got there he couldn't have been nicer, asking how our day was and making sure we had everything we needed. I'll go out of my way to come by this place again when coming to ATL. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Thai restaurant. I've ordered takeout from here 5 or 6 times and each time the service and food has exceeded expectations. Can't go wrong with the basil fried rice.

What can I say? Their spicy duck curry was pretty good! Frankly, I hadn't tried anything duck related in ages, but it was nice to try that out. The sauce blends very well with the rice and the pineapple, normally something problematic for my tastes because it's sweetness usually conflicts with the savory, fit finely. About the duck itself? It's like chicken, but with the firmness of pork.

Overall lovely folk and good food. That's just one of my highlights.

First experience here. We were pleased with the service and flavors. However, the quantity for the price is not impressive. We ordered Basil Fried rice. The rice was amazing. There were very few pieces of chicken in the entire to-go box.
