My family and I had an excellent meal here. The service was friendly and fast. All of the food we had was delicious! We shared Chicken Dumplings to start and I had the Pad Khing, my husband had Pad Thai, and our kids had sweet & sour as well as Orange Chicken. My youngest kept stealing my dinner as well because she loved the ginger sauce. We hope to return soon.
I take every opportunity to come eat dinner here. Family owned, I'm always treated kindly and the food is just remarkable. The Rad nah noodles are my favorite, with 3 star levels of spice and 2 summer rolls, listen your world will change. Masters of the craft.
The food is incredible. The sweet and dour tofu was nice with a spicy twist. The flavors were just right in our pad Thai and veggie fried rice. The service was friendly. The restaurant was a bit confusing and cluttered. With updated menus and the clutter cleaned up, this would be a 5-star restaurant.
As a broke high school student, this restaurant is great. It's cheap, but the food is still good quality. The server was very kind. Will come back.
The best hole in the wall Asian/Thai cuisine. Hands down the best fried rice in all of Chatt/GA area and I know my fried rice. Ask for the house special and you can pick the heat level. Seriously the BEST.
My husband ordered the chicken and broccoli , and spring rolls . I ordered the red curry chicken and summer rolls . And the food was absolutely amazing . I've been sick and this is just what I needed to get me over a cold .The perfect amount of heat . The heat level I ordered was on a number 3 .
Fantastic food, great service. Went with the gentleman behind the counter's suggestion on what to get simply because I had no idea. Was not disappointed. Plenty of spice. Only thing this place could really use is some visual improvement on the exterior and possibly a little more lighting inside.
Amazing food! I don't care what anyone says about how ran down the inside is because once you taste the food it gets your mind off anything else in the room. Had beef and broccoli with added shrimp, wife had pepper steak, and the oldest child had shrimp fried rice. I tried all the food and everything was top notch. It was interesting to have cilantro in the fried rice and am definitely going to get it next time but 🔥 HOT!
Food is always good. Been dining there more than 15 years. Kitchen's a bit slow. Dining room is outdated. But generous portions of hot food with good flavors. Amount sure justifies the price, which is lower than average.
I really love this place!! I definitely recommend going here. Everything that I’ve had here is amazing and I’ll be going back to try more.

Really good Thai food. Best in the area
Amazing food! Must try!
The best hole in the wall Asian/Thai cuisine. Hands down the best fried rice in all of Chatt/GA area and I know my fried rice. Ask for the house special and you can pick the heat level. Seriously the BEST.
This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants you can go to . It's such a hidden gem tucked in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia. The curry is always my favorite but I'm convinced nothing is bad. If you order your food Thai hot the owner will be very proud of you .
The food and staff are amazing and the prices are reasonable. I love this place!

This place is a true hidden gem. I cannot recommend it enough.

Amazing food, very flavorful and the spicy is actually spicy.
Para los Mexicanos que nos encanta lo picante sus platillos estan con madre!!!!
Love the food and very sweet

The food is really flavorful and they give you large portions.

Great local restaurant!
Very good food
We have eaten her a couple times. I am so glad we found this place
OH MY WORD!!! THE PINEAPPLE CHICKEN CURRY IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER EATEN... IT IS DIFFERENT AND WONDERFUL!!!
It was asian food and its what I payed for.
I used to come here a lot and never had a problem but the quality of the experiences have been dwindling down and I don't think I'll be coming back. The things that I ordered from the menu were explained by the waiter that I will not be getting that but some cheaper versions of what the menu says and with less items. They served our meals at separate times which made us wait to eat out of respect. By the time I got my meal my dates meal was cool and mine may as well of been boiling. They also could not pronounce what I ordered and told me to just order the number instead of the authentic name of the dish on the menu. That was disappointing that they couldn't even pronounce their own food. Also the lady kept yelling out the cost of our meal from across the room 3xs which was embarrassing considering this was a first date situation. When I finally did get my meal it was overly sweet and I ordered a medium heat. No wonder we were the only ones there for dinner at prime hours.
Cheap, fast, clean, tasty, and huge portions. The noodle dishes will last you dinner, lunch, and another dinner.
We have been going to Thai Garden for years. The food is always delicious and fresh and the service is excellent. It is family owned and operated. If you're looking for a great lunch or dinner, this is the place!
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Chattanooga area (yes, I have tried them all). They literally NEVER miss. The orange chicken is 🧑🍳💋. The Pad Thai is phenomenal. The Pad See Ew is the best of them all. Like Masaman curry? They have the best.
It would be a real shame to die before trying this local gem. And tomorrow isn’t promised, so best not to wait too long.
Love this gem! Family owned! Great dishes and delicious Thai tea!
This place has been here for as long as I remember, and well, it never disappoints. I go here about 3 times a month and it is definitely if not my favorite Thai Restaurant. The Sweet and Sour seafood combo is so amazing 10/10 recommend. The people are so nice and friendly. The only thing the restaurant is lacking is atmosphere but now it just feels like home.
My family has been going to Thai Garden for years, we've seen their kids grow up. This place has the best food in town with generous servings. They're super nice people. I highly recommend as long as you're willing to wait a bit for your food.
These people were absolute heroes of the highest degree. We were driving back from a mathematics tournament in Alabama when myself and a colleague rolled up to Thai Garden with 14 students and no advance warning of any kind. We had 40 minutes to order, eat, and pay (all of us paying seperately). They came through for us. I hope we get to stop there again next year, but with some advance warning this time.
Best Thai food hands down! Best Tom Yum and Pad Thai in the Chattanooga area. The owners are super nice as well! I moved some distance away 7 years ago and am only able to visit a few times a year now, but the owners still remember me after all that time! Highly recommended
Always amazing, and they are so nice! I feel like family and they always remember us since we come in about once a week. The vegetarian menu is just SO GOOD. Tofu is cooked to perfection. I love the spring rolls and tofu appetizer with the pineapple. Like seriously nom dot com 🤤
it may not have the nicest interior, but this is easily the BEST thai food in the greater chattanooga area!!! always the best service, food is always on point. i always feel disappointed when i have to get thai food elsewhere.
The best Thai food I've ever eaten!! 💖
Delicious, authentic, and very fresh. Hidden gem.
What a jewel of a place!! We spent a couple of days in town and thought we would try it. We were not disappointed!! Some of the better Thai Food I have had in some time. Highly recommend going by and giving it a try!..You will be glad you did!! We are here both nights we stayed in town!! AA++++
Best spicy orange chicken ever!
Friendly people and delicious food. Their pad Thai and pad see ew are some of the best I’ve ever had. They are a little slow but it’s all made super fresh, so it’s worth the wait.
I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat meat but they do have tofu its ok. only eat vegetables and rice, and it was okay.
Some of the best, authentic Thai food in 100 miles! Guaranteed! You can’t go wrong with Pad Thai
Great place
Great food
LOVE this Thai restaurant! I always get the chicken and rice-enough for two meals! They are so nice and friendly! Sweet family!
This restaurant has been around forever. I think it used to be Chinese food and it wasn't very good.
I have no idea when it became a Tai restaurant. You can still see remnants of the Chinese restaurant, so atmosphere wise, it's a little tired. Well, frankly, it's exhausted.
But under no circumstances should that discourage any one from either dining in or getting take-out.
I've done both. Each time I received excellent service and delicious food.
You can select your spice level. I get the medium and it is right at the edge of my tolerance. The portions, even the kid's portions, are large. In fact, they might be sharable.
The prices are incrediblely reasonable.
This place is truly in my top three favorite Thai restaurants.
Was the worst food I ever had
Love this place, owners/staff are great!
Great food and service. A little bit slow but the green curry was dynamite.
This place has some of the most authentic Thai food in all of Georgia. Whenever I come up here from Atlanta to visit family, I always come here for dinner because it's so high quality, authentic, and family owned and ran.
Also, the kids helping to run the place are super sweet and very intelligent and I hope my children become as hard working and as smart as them.
I ate here about 4 years ago. It was wonderful. I ordered the same things I used to order originally. The summer rolls were loose and soggy and stuffed with mostly shredded iceberg lettuce. Much of it rusted. The chicken dumplings were pasty and unflavored. The dipping sauces were the same. Thick and salty. Like a mix of peanut butter diluted with soy sauce. Our orders of Pad Thai came with a selection on a heat scale from 1 to 5. I ordered a 2. They were a four. The Tom Kai Ghai soup was not very savory and had massive quarters of tomatoes in it. Thats not an ingredient that belongs. We will never eat here again. It use to be authentic, but it’s fallen short of even passable by American standards.
This gem of a restaurant in Fort Oglethorpe has become a weekly visit for us. Amazing, fresh food!
I’m so incredibly happy that I found this place! Finally some Thai food with flavor in Chattanooga! Ordered their gang dang curry and Tom kha gai soup and I felt like I was back in New Jersey. (They have so many restaurants and foodies that they have to be good if they want to survive.)
Now, I will say that my boyfriend got the pad thai which was pretty average but it’s such a boring dish I don’t really hold it against them. Why order that when you can have curry or other noodley goodness? He didn’t know but now he does. 🙂
When I went in for pickup, the staff was super friendly. It’s a hole in the wall place so you KNOW it’s good. They need better signage because I never would have found them without googling “Thai food” but I’m so happy I did. It’s now my go-to Thai spot.
My daughter has been going here for several years and told me how good it was. I had a small bowl of a fantastic soup that had shrimp in it. I don't remember the name of it. My daughter and son in law warned me that I didn't want mine spicy. Thankfully, I took their advice. My SIL ordered the large bowl as he usually does and asked for spicy at a 3 (out of 5), and I tasted his. It was extremely spicy! I also had the Summer Rolls. They were so good and fresh. My daughter had a small bowl of wonton soup and the summer rolls. My granddaughter had chicken stir fry from the children's menu, and it was a good-sized serving. The food was excellent. It's a small restaurant that is run by a small family. Just a hole in the wall, but I will be back on a regular basis. Oh, and my food came to $12. Very affordable.
This is my go-to takeout spot. The food quality is always very high and the prices are very reasonable. Great spot!
The food was tasty but the wait was a little bit long. It was worth the wait. Ask about stuff you don't see on the menu because they can make it for you!
Mom and Pop Thai sit down in an antiquaited strip mall. Typical service and a bit grundgy but the made to order fresh fare is well beyond worth sacrificing a lack in ambiance
Quiet and pleasant. For my first time eating thai food the flavors knocked me out of the park. I will be back and will bring friends. The staff were sweet and they catered the meal to my spice tolerance which was very low. I had the glass noodle pad muhn which I would get again and the banana crepe. All the ingrediants were fresh and the food was hot!
Mmmmh. I survived but can't recommend it
Best Thai food I've ever had. Run by a very nice family. Wish I was local, because I would eat here all the time.
Fantastic food! We've been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. This is my family's go to when we're really ready to eat and craving something hearty. They are a lovely family.
First time eating here it was 7:50 at night they close at 8:30 our food was hot and made to order and so tasty we will be going back !
Food is great!!
Always a joy coming here and having Thai food.
Absolutely love the food, it is Amazing! You will not be disappointed by the flavor. This is our new go to Thai restaurant locally and we are so happy to have it!
I finally tried this place and it was excellent. I had the Pad Thai and it did not disappoint. The food was good, the service was friendly and spot on. If you live in Chattanooga, it's totally worth the drive... I will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff, prompt service, and excellent food.
Always good food!
Food was excellent! This was a great little "hole in the wall". They have very limited staff, but were all working hard. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you, but the Thai food was excellent. We went at lunch on an exceptionally hot summer day, and their air conditioning couldnt quite keep up, so it was pretty warm inside. But we enjoyed our meals thoroughly and will absolutely be back.
Chicken Pad Thai is great.
Food is great but the restaurant is dirty and needs a makeover.
Great sweet and sour tofu with veggies! Yummy!!! The family running the place is great! The waiter, son, asked us lots of questions about our order and preferences to get our order correct. 👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hands down my favorite restaurant for 50 miles in any direction. Please do yourself a favor and explore the entire menu! I have never been disappointed. The portions are generous, the family that owns it is extremely nice, and the food is unmatched. They can get busy so sometimes so their can be a wait but I promise it's definitely worth waiting for
Curry and coconut "soup" (I forgot what it is called) was very good.
Thank you
I would sleep here until I was hungry again
Great food, great service, large lunch portions. Two lunches and spring rolls for $25! I don't think I've paid so little for lunch at a sit down restaurant and over a decade.
I love this place! The owners are fantastic, super-friendly, and the food is wonderful. I've been eating here for nearly 20 years, I think.
Very good food for a very good price, rare find. Fried rice enough for 4 meals for $11.
The best Thai food in the area (including Chattanooga). Authentic and delicious. Service is amazing as well!!
The sweetest owner, great service, and tasty food. Great place!
This has become my go to Thai place. Spring rolls, sweet and sour tofu, green curry with tofu, and basil fried rice are all excellent! I keep ordering the same items because they are that good. Sometimes the wait is long for to go orders. Give this place a try!
We love this place!!
The boyfriendo and I visit here regularly and have our preferred order that we get most of the time, but even when we order differently than usual, we're never disappointed!
The staff goes out of their way to make sure you're satisfied, whether that's substitutions or another particular about your meal. And on top of the wonderful service from a family owned restaurant, we're always satisfied with the food.
It's easy to miss them in their current location, but don't sleep on this place... if you're into Chinese or Thai food, give them a cisit asap!!
Best chicken fried rice you'll ever eat..you gotta try it! 😋
You just gotta experience it. Highly recommend the seafood dishes
This place is amazing
Food is great. Took 1 hour to get food to go.
Pretty decent food and friendly service.
Service however is slow so pre-order is essential unless you like waiting. Restaurant itself is dated and somewhat tatty.
Food is great. They have you pick your spicest level.
My husband was a quite accomplished chef. This was my his favorite place place to eat. I introduced the rest of the family in honor and memory of him. Everyone recognized the great quality of the food.
Rated all the Thai places in the Chattanooga area over 2021 and this one came out on top and remains there!! Love this lil family owned hidden gem. The pineapple curry is my go to!
Great food and service!
Great food at a great price
This place makes my stomach so happy!! Best Thai of all time and the owner is the best!
Best Pad Thai ever! Everything is so good but the Pad Thai really needs to be tried. One of my favorite family owned businesses in Fort O ❤️
We waited over two hours food with no apologies. They kept saying that it would be two more minutes and it took two hours. They never owned up to the fact that something went terribly wrong with our order. Will never be back!!!!!
My ex-husband and I had a restaurant for a little while. I know how difficult it is to run a restaurant and try to do anything else. You're just exhausted at the end of the day. You'd have to take a week off and close the restaurant to remodel or even clear the clutter. I thought Thai Garden looked very nice under the circumstances. I didn't go there to eat the décor. I went to eat the food. It was very good. See the pictures below.
The best Thai food I've found around the area. They have the best spicy curry
Seriously good Thai food overall and great service.
With food this good, and being the only Thai place around, the place needs a little bit of a refresh -- fewer stickers and clutter, and most importantly a fresh coat of paint on the walls (maybe blood red or textured gold? or completely mirrored?) and a little better lighting in the way of dimmer, cloudy-shelled bulbs (with ALL of those dimmer bulbs plugged in) to complete the ambiance. The decor mostly is Chinese and looks good, if only the effect were completed.
You might consider axing one center table and placing a nice exotic Thai religious statue there to help the atmosphere to connect with the Thai theme a bit? Just some ideas. More people would return to this place if it impressed a bit more upon entry. Feels a bit too Chinese takeout right now (which means -- yes I'll say it -- a bit tacky and, well, a bit trashed up, books stacked as if it's a part-time study hall). One table near the front stays filled with bags and takeout orders, but I'll bet there's a way to seat takeout customers near the register without taking up so much of the dining area. This place has more potential than they're currently making use of.
Delicious food. If you want to eat very tasteful food made with fresh ingredients go to this little restaurant. It is a gem in this area. Just be patient with them because they are short staffed and you are going to have to wait but, they do the best they can to give a good costumer service. This was our first time and we will be back for sure!
Really good thai food. Surprisingly good little restaurant.
Best Thai food in Fort O and near Chattanooga Valley. I’m pregnant and the egg drop soup has been a life saver.
I’ve been a customer for 6 years, and the food at Thai Garden has always been amazing!!! Their orange chicken is my favorite.
Quiet dining, food as spicy (or not) as you can handle. Exceptional service and privately owned. Food is good with lots of options.
By far the best Thai food in the area. My husband and I drive from Chattanooga to pick up food from here because no other Thai restaurant compares. Delicious and generous portions. Never disappoints!
Best tofu panang curry EVER! Generous portions, too.
today was first time eating Thai food I ordered the stir-fry with chicken sweet and sour it was great Will be going back
Love this place. Best restaurant in Fort O. Very big portions for the price.
The food is authentic and very delicious! It’s a family own restaurant with warm inviting charm.
Sooooo goood big portions and the rice is so fluffy I definitely can’t wait to come back here again
The food is delicious, and the service is so nice. I love going to eat here. I have unfortunately reduced the heat though to baby hot. ;)
Had a very poor experience and am saddened as no longer recommend this restaurant. Noticed that while paying for meals the cashier was always rounding up the cost and not giving a legible receipt. After comparing the prices on my receipt versus their menu, overbilling was occurring at an unjustified amount. Discussed this with the owner and was informed that they can charge whatever they want to whom ever they want when ever they want without notice. Had been dinning with them for several years but will no longer eat here as a result of their deception.
Just not my cup of tea.
First time eating here today. Some of the best Chinese food I've ate.
Best Asian food restaurant in the tri-state area.
Thai Garden is my #1 favorite place to eat! The food is so flavorful and fresh. Nothing compares.
Fantastic food from an unassuming, cozy restaurant. They are on par with much fancier, more established restaurants in town.
Always a great place to eat or get carry out from. Great service and excellent food
Nice people, great food.
Food was very good. Restaurant decor/furniture could use a refresh.
Best Thai food in the south.
The food was amazing! Taste, portion and presentation was on point! The whole family enjoy their meal. We can't wait to come back!
It is legit. You know what I mean. Awesome dishes, amazing flavors, and for criminally good prices. The lunch special Pad Thai is the yummiest pad Thai I've had in years, and it runs you under $10 after tax. You literally can't beat that. You can try, but you will fail. Thai fried rice? Banger. Top to bottom, this place is a banger, and for all the right reasons. The interior is so casual, a spot for a kid to do homework and a table with a handful of bags for to-go's. No music at all.
Get it delivered, pick it up, or deal with the ambiance and appreciate it like you should. No matter what - banger.
Most AMAZING coconut soup I have ever had! Service is amazing, food is perfection!!!
I order a different dish every time I stop by and I have been satisfied every time. Come check them out!
This should be a 4 star review, seriously the food was really, really good. What drove my score down was simply the lack of staffing, I think there was one person in the kitchen and I know there was only one working tables. She was super super sweet but simply overwhelmed. I sincerely hope they get some help because the food was great- loved my Pad Thai. I'll give it a shot again in the future and hopefully bump up the review score. Great food- just a long wait to get it :(
Great food
Great food great staff.
Highly recommend
Excellent
We travel many miles to eat at this wonderful place each week. The food we get is so delicious and the owners have become our friends. I recommend this place to our clients as we rent cabins and everybody that eats there takes with them a tasty memory. I would rate Thai Garden a very strong 5-star rating.
Great food and even greater prices!
Been eating here more than 10 years.
The food is very good, but when they ask about spice, (1-5) tell them 1 lower than you think you want. They get pretty heavy handed with the heat imo. It to say it another way a 3 alarm chili is a 2 at this joint. Other than that the food is great.
The green curry is fantastic!! Staff are very friendly and service is very good.
I saw someone complain about the decor but who cares!?! The food is amazing, and the place is clean.
This will be our new Thai place because it's better than Thai Rain and less expensive.
Well done, Thai Garden!
I ordered fried rice because my son-in-law recommended this place to me. I did not want meat in it just the carrots, peas, onions, cilantro, and eggs. All I got was egg and onion. Rice was so bland, no flavor. Will not give them anymore of my money.
This place is always amazing, every single time the food is excellent. If you want good Thai, this is the location for you!
Yum
My first time eating here. I’m from Ala! Have not had any veggie rice that taste this good! Yummy! And the workers there are so nice and courteous!
Two stars only because of the nice young man working up front. Ordered pad Thai, smelled horrible and had egg shells in it. When I tried to politely tell the young man, he got the owner, whom I assume was him mother, and she proceeded to tell me that sometimes when she cracks eggs into the food, shells fall in. I was charged almost full price for the meal and didnt eat it at all.
Super nice people.
The good, portions and food quality is great for this price point. The bad, restaurant is in extremely poor condition; fixtures, furnishings, and decor all appear to be old enough to drink. Service is also a mixed bag. One person that was probably the owner was doing everything front of house.
Best Thai / Chinese restaurant around! First time trying it yesterday and their fried sweet and sour chicken was the best Ive ever had! Absolutely amazing food and we will be making this a regular place to go to! If you haven’t tried this place yet I can promise you are missing out!
Friendly staff
I had spring rolls absolutely 💯 the best ever!
Delicious and fresh!
Excellent and friendly service from all the staff. The Wonton soup is the best I've ever had. And Dinner #23 RAHO NA TALAY is truly a seafood delight with calamari, fish, shrimp on delicious noodles. Yummy
Great little family owned & operated business. The young man that waits on us is always friendly. We've eaten there about five times and loved it each time.
A great little Thai place that adjust temp 1-5. I have never been disappointed. Does not look like much but they feed you well.
It was good. The booths are duck taped but don't let that trick you food is amazing the waitress and waiter were awesome the women give us a thailand sweet tea when we were leaving. My sister asked if she could get a sweet tea and she asked do you want to Thailand or regular sweet tea we got a normal sweet tea in a Thailand one it was great
Food is good but I always have to wait 20-25 longer for my take-out then what they tell me
Excelente
Have been going here for close to 15 years now and hope to another 15
Excellent Thai food!
