Tin Drum Asian Kitchen & Boba Tea Bar is your go-to Pan-Asian restauran offering Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, and Korean cuisine.
Had delivered through Uber eats .
Food quality was piss poor. I had general tsos stir fry with a bed of spinach, grilled chicken, and tofu. I received 2 little spinach leaves. There was a half decent amount of soggy chicken and wet tofu that I paid extra for. The fire cracker cauliflower was the biggest bunch of BS in a to-go box. The pictures are a catfish, tinder swindler. The only good thing was the miso soup with tofu. Though it has 2 fat blocks of tofu it would be great to half some chopped.

Today was my first time eating at Tindrum Asian Kitchen and I do have to say I was really impressed with this place. I ordered the Sesame stir fry and the crab and cheese rolls they were both extremely good. Upon entering I was greeted the employees were very nice and even helped me out since it was my first time. I also have to say that I really like the decorations in this place it gives it a pop not a lot of places have.
Only been here 3 times. I came here the other day and I got 2 orders of the firecracker cauliflower, shrimp rice, veggie rices, and veggie spring egg rolls. Everything was good besides the rice. It had a funny taste and 1 of my rices didn’t taste cooked all the way. and the other was overcooked. lol , weird! anywho, tue customer service was ok, and it looked clean from what I did see. The firecracker cauliflower was really good though! I’ll for sure go back just for that.
Calling all Atlanta foodies! 🍜🍱 If you're craving some seriously delicious flavors, Tin Drum Kitchen has just launched their new menu, and it’s a must-try!
I recently stopped by for a taste test extravaganza! 🎉 The Chinese Sticky Pork Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, smothered in a sweet and savory sauce that’s seriously addictive! They were perfectly paired with a side of crisp sautéed broccoli & peppers and a serving of fluffy rice. The Japanese Teriyaki Fried Rice with salmon was bursting with savory-sweet teriyaki goodness, and the General Tso’s Wok Wings delivered the ideal balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors.
And don't even get me started on the Boba tea—perfectly sweet and refreshing, it was the ideal way to wash down all those bold flavors!
Tin Drum’s menu is your ticket to a global culinary adventure! 🌍 They offer a wide selection of bold dishes and the option to build-your-own stir-fry with endless possibilities. Their 1000° hot wok infuses everything with incredible flavor—definitely living up to their motto, “A Thousand Degrees of Flavor!” These dishes are literally on fire!
I can’t believe how sick I am after eating the fried rice and a soup. Within a few hours my stomach was killing me and I’ve had food poisoning since. We ordered the food to go- had no idea of these issues from previous reviews. Do NOT eat here unless you want food poisoning. This is horrible!! The food wasn’t even good- nothing like other tin drums.
I recently started returning to this location and appreciate the improvement. The customer service has always been great, however for awhile the Califlower recipe started tasting off but now it is back to it's original tasting. The manager is always on top of handling any task and the staff are helpful and friendly. Recently someone getting off work saw I needed help and even after clocking out she handled it herself. I did not get her name but behaviors like this and improvement in staff efforts deserve recognition. Keep up th great work !
There are flies everywhere. Place is unhygienic. Feels like I’m in a pigsty. Portion sizes are much smaller than the other tin drums. Food is not hot even when the restaurant is empty. Staff is amiable. Disgusting. Tim Drum needs to reign in the franchises trying to penny pinch by not cleaning and reducing portion sizes.
My food from here was very bland. I spent $80 but the only good thing I had were the crab spring rolls. The Sandy Springs location has way better flavor for some reason and the food is just cooked better. I’m not sure why if it’s the same chain but either way I will not be eating at this location again. I’m actually kind of upset just because I spent $80 for subpar food. I could’ve eaten somewhere nice for that price.
The food was amazing! The staff was extremely kind as well! I will definitely visit again.
Food was delicious and brought out quick. Friendly staff and great customer service! Will definitely be returning in the future.
excellent work ethic!
The food was amazing I gotta dine in next time I come. Everything was correct for my family function this afternoon they loved it as well.
Loved it here. Great food, very exquisite
Great service, great experience!
My family loved it here. Great food, friendly staff and very clean. Will be making this a regular spot for us.
Everything was great
The food was so good and the bolba tea was delicious. The staff was very kind, which is a plus. They do take a minute to cook the food because it’s not fast food, so it’s understandable. Will definitely be back.

People were kind and helpful. Kitchen manager went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with our food.

They give me my food in puzzle pieces. When I go with a group of people. They are giving me food in pieces.

I’ve been a regular takeout customer at Tin Drum Decatur, and the food has always been great. However, I was very disappointed during my visit on 1/24/25. It was very unsanitary, and honestly, it makes me hesitant to return to this location. The cooks nor food packager wore hair nets, and only one cook wore gloves. The person packaging food and making drinks didn’t wear gloves and touched the inside of lids and containers (while gripping to package), as well as other surfaces, without washing hands. I hope they take hygiene more seriously moving forward, but for now, I’ll be looking for other options.
A cool spot. I'm mad they no longer make blueberry boba. I used to love blueberries in my sweet green tea. The basil fried rice is good especially with extra veggies. Their menu is very nickle and dime but it's worth every penny.
We placed two orders of Tonkatsu. With and without protein. Both orders came out lukewarm. Meat was cold. Soy eggs were cold. Customer service was excellent, and there was no fuss about refunding my money. Would not recommend.
Great food and great staff!
Great food and fast service!! Was greeted upon arrival and staff were super helpful with selecting a dish. First time visiting this location, I will definitely be back!
I was hesitant about this place but everyone has their own experience and mines was pretty good! The food was good and the employees were great and friendly! I recommend for everyone to give it a try!
Customer service was amazing !!!!! Food was delicious!!!! Will definitely be coming back!!! My new favorite spot !!!!
Food is always good, but the service is going downhill. Waited 14 minutes before someone took my order. Laughs and giggles in the background the whole time. Foolish staff bad for business.
There was a couple already sitting at a table in the dining room when I walked in The girl cashier in the front didn't say I'll be with you in a minute or anything she was just running around couple people was coming into work didn't even say hi or anything to me so good I know you're tired but it was still rude I just got the lettuce wraps I tried the green beans and I got the spring rolls to go I just don't feel the same so I didn't stay
Mediocre Asian food. Not worth the money.
I definitely got food poisoning from this location. I would not recommend wasting your hard earned money here.
It took forever for me to place an order. They didn’t have Ramen for the Ramen bowl, no cauliflower for me he banging cauliflower, and no curry for another dish— close early tonight guys.
I called on the phone and asked for Chai tea boba and I spelled it for him so he didn’t get confused with Thai tea and guess what I got THAI TEA plus their miso ramen is supposed to have potstickers and soy ramen but my potstickers were missing and my egg just just a normal hard boiled egg???? Also the spinach was just thrown there like what’s going on?? The miso is usually my go to and the spinach is always blanched???? When I went to pick up the food I saw my drink was clearly not what I ordered and I told the cashier and she just looked at me like I was crazy but I was already running late for work so I walked out with the wrong order and I would’ve let it go if it was just the drink that was wrong but it’s the food too like I’m so done with the place!!! Y’all need to refund me or something
I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone came up. I ordered soup and pad thai with chicken. I paid over $20 for this and a drink. The pad thai was almost inedible. I was so hungry I ate what I could but it was just so awful. It had the parts of pad thai (noodles, carrots, onions, peanuts) but was covered in a sauce that tasted like old barbecue sauce…literally it was soupy there was so much of it and it was so disgusting. It made the whole thing taste nothing like pad thai. The chicken was equally as gross. This is the second time I’ve had a really bad experience here. Never going back.
I had a catering order from Tin Drum. I called to make sure that the catering order would contain chafing dishes and sterno. I was told by the young lady who answered the phone that YES these items would be included. Then when the delivery person arrived, there was no sterno or chafing dishes. When I called Tin Drum back they said, sorry we don’t include those items. If I had know 3 hours ago that I would need to go grab the stereos and chafing dishes, I would have done so. This is poor communication by this company and I will not be using them to cater an event again.
My food from here was very bland. I spent $80 but the only good thing I had were the crab spring rolls. The Sandy Springs location has way better flavor for some reason and the food is just cooked better. I had my food delivered with DoorDash and when I got it, my veggies were completely raw. I literally had to pick them out of my food and cooked them myself, which defeats the purpose of ordering.
I don’t know who wants large chunks of raw peppers and onions, but it’s not me. My general Tso’s chicken was also very sweet. I am wondering if I got the wrong sauce or something.
Horrible customer service, lack of professionalism & personable efficiency or effort!
Take out is the most reasonable option if you can service timely upon entering the premises
Amazing service ,fantastic food , super clean
I used to love this place. Then the started screwing up orders and refusing to give refunds. I even filed a BBB complaint and they didn't even respond. Do not go here -- they will steal your money.
sad to see a great restaurant become so bad. This place hired new cooks and new workers. And I must say every time I go now I’m either waiting forever for my food or the food is half down and unseasoned. Ordered today and got in and waited for my food just to realize that they didn’t call nobody names for the food that was ready. So I’ve been waiting for 15 min for food that’s been ready 15 min ago smh. Been twice in the last month and noodles came out unseasoned.
I recently ordered the Fried rice and potstickers and it was great. Ajanea took my order i requested that my rice be made hot and fresh and she made sure that it was. She was very polite and my order was prepared quickly. I will def be back
I was served by AJ and I can say her energy and service made me wanna come back 10/10
Aj was awesome. I didn't know what I wanted when I walked in. Aj made a few suggestions and the meal I picked was delicious. She was very helpful. Thanks Aj.
Aj was the best and very helpful
A nice girl named Ajanea Took my order. she was very helpful with helping me get a better understanding of the food items on the menu. once I got my food she made sure everything was up to par for me and checked up on me a couple times.
The young lady, Aj took my order and was very polite and friendly. She even made some suggestions and the food was delicious. Thank you Aj. I'll be eating there again.
the nice young lady that answered he phone I believe Aj was her name was very helpful and was very patient with me.
Good was ok but my server ajaena was awesome .. Friendly, quick and polite .. thank you ajaena for the great service.
Aj was good and friendly
Aj was great help I came in one day wanting to try boba and she recommended the chai one now I can't stop drinking it...Thanks girl.
Ate there for lunch. Got the teriyaki with shrimp which was fresh and tasty.
Found a 2 inch metal bracket in my husband’s entree. He bit down on it, but thankfully didn't swallow it or injure his mouth. This is not the first time we have found inedible objects in our food from Tin drum. I found rope tied around my grilled chicken in an entree years ago but decided to give them another try. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice.. will not be ordering from them again.
This is my go to when I want Asian food....
The egg fried rice was terrible!
The wings were good.
I had the pleasure of being served by Ajanea recently, and it was an outstanding experience. Ajanea was incredibly friendly, and made sure all our needs were met promptly. The food was also delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend asking for Ajanea if you want excellent service and great food!
My food was cool BUT. The service Ajanea gave was amazing!!
Amazing food service! Ajanea helped me with my pick up order! Amazing service
I ordered the tikka masala and it was delicious. I received my order quickly and it was nice and hot. Ajanea took my order, she was very nice. I was impressed with the service and I will be back next time to try something else on the menu!
Good food definitely coming again! First time and customer service was polite and very helpful with recommendations (brianda).
Great food and excellent customer service! Brianda was very helpful. Will be back!
Great food. Brianda was awesome. 👍🏾
Brianda was a great worker she took my order and was really nice and the boba was fabulous
Brianda went above and beyond to make our dining experience a true delight.
I had an amazing experience at Tindrum, thanks to Brianda! She provided exceptional service, was incredibly friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out, making my meal even more enjoyable. The food was great, and Brianda's customer service truly elevated the experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
Would not eat here again! 16 for Sesame chicken that taste like a frozen dinner.?!
That was one of my favorite spots, but this visit was a letdown. The meal with steak, which cost an extra $6, was tough, had an odd smell, and didn’t taste like beef or lamb. I couldn’t even take a second bite, it was disgusting. It was more like a soup than a proper meal. Not going back, and I don't recommend it.
Worst Asian food I’ve ever tasted! Took three bites, no seasoning, bland and boring! Grilled chicken was more like boiled! Got the basil fried rice….disgusting! The Mongolian beef was not any better. It had meat and rice and that was it, and it was over $20.
The customer service was so bad even when I asked me to a manager the manager looked at me like I was just crazy. My tea wasn’t good and they did refund my money which I’m glad about that must be a new management because they totally have changed the taking orders such a nasty attitude.
We have been frequent customers for quite some time, however your customer service has gone way down into the garbage. Whoever is now the cooks are seemingly lazy. My husband ordered the General tso chicken dish and said it was gross. Hours later I wanted the noodle dish with tofu. When I took the first bite it was extra mushy and the dish was super watery. I’d ask for my money back—but your service is so terrible I’m afraid someone not trained appropriately will say something unprofessional. And as a professional I don’t have time for that. All I will say is y'all need to get it together on every end.
I cut the audio to save from foul language. Check the pics. Buyer beware.
Mediocre food. I ordered Thai ginger basil, and it was basically run of the mill stir fry served at double the price it should be. One bight hinted of ginger and I think there was exactly one basil leaf, which was the one bight that had that flavor. I'll make my own stir fried rice at home.
Order at the counter Asian Fusion and Boba Tea. We have picked up food here a couple of times and it has been consistently good. My most recent order was stir fry teriyaki chicken and it was very tasty. I was worried it might not be enough food and added some chicken pot stickers which were also good. It turns out the stir fry bowls are plenty of food!

If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. Customer service is trash. For me that goes a long way. When I first tried this place I liked it. The guy that use to work the register was great ; now everyone has an attitude and acts like you’re bothering them. So disappointed.
Just got my food and can't believe I didn't get the chicken I ordered when it was clearly on the receipt even more wild it wasn't even busy so how do you miss that I'm very disappointed
I enjoyed their Firecracker Cauliflower. I really don't like any kind of counter service. However, I told the server that I had not been there before, and she patiently explained the menu and their ordering process. The atmosphere was ok, and the restaurant was clean.
Made catering order the other day and they misread the order and only made one plate for a single person. I was already running late for an event so I had to just cancel the order completely. The very next day I ordered food for my sister to pick up. On both days we had to stand there at the register while employees walked by multiple times, before someone noticed and said something. When picking up the order the second day, she noticed the drink was missing and when the employee asked what she needed, she THEN notified her that they didn’t have an ingredient for that drink. It would’ve made more sense for them to have notified her right away instead of waiting for her go mention the drink was missing. Did they assume she was just gonna leave without asking for the drink?? I’ve noticed that lately the employees are all just carefree and nonchalant. Some serious training and evaluation needs to be done…
**Update** The owner replied to this review and I sent my information via email to Tin Drum, however, they did not respond. They are pretending to care by responding to google reviews but not actually addressing issues and ignoring customer's emails.
Review:
Pretty bad experience. I ordered a chicken mango bowl and the bowl was mostly rice (barely any vegetables or chicken even though we paid for extra chicken). I also didn’t receive any eggplant even though it was listed as on the item. I ordered this item a couple of years ago (we've been coming to this location since they opened) and it used to have tons of chicken and vegetables. Tin drum used to be really good and now it’s bad again. Please be more generous with vegetables and meat, it’s ridiculous how much rice was in the bowl. The staff were super unfriendly too.
Order not provide to "the kitchen" Very, very horribly rude cashier
No chicken on a chicken-based plate, uncooked ramen, no ac inside, rude staff. Definitely avoid
Usually I enjoy my food from here but whoever is In kitchen tonight was not on their game. My meal was so full of liquid sauce it destroyed my meal I get the dish with the peanuts chicken and peanut sauce and spinach can’t think of the name. I ordered the beef and chicken fried rice for my wife no onions she had onions all over her dish and no beef. Very disappointing. It takes forever to earn a customers trust and loyalty to your brand and only one time to mess it up and lose your customer. You need consistency every single time.*Update went back tonight and let me tell you this place hasn’t gotten one bit better. I had a chicken lo mein and it was absolutely awful and I got a mango boba tea I got no boba and it was gross as well. It cost me over $20.00 with the 15% tip which I will never tip again at these carry out locations. I had to wait nearly 17 minutes for the meal they put onions and I requested no onions. This was probably the worst meal I had in my life. I will definitely never spend a penny here again.
Love love love the food here. It’s always delicious. If I were only rating the food it would be a 5. I used to order delivery from here once a week until they randomly stopped delivering to my address. Which if fine, just can’t have it as much as I’d like now. But lately every time I go to order they are out of spring rolls which is a majority of the reason I love this place so much. They have the best spring rolls I’ve ever had. But when they’re unavailable to order I end up going somewhere else. Haven’t been back in a while because of this and it makes me sad.
The food at this tin drum is excellent. My wife and I were in the area and dined in. The food was perfectly prepared, tasted and looked great. They were extremely busy but the food came out in a timely manner we had to wait extra long time for our boba teas, but I dont know if that's a service thing or if they were just very busy.
We opted to order from Uber eats a couple of weeks later and our order was cancelled 3 times even after scheduling it for a few hours later and this was also due to them being busy/overwhelmed.
Food is great, just have to hope your timing is right.
I’ve been here before and just recently got some food delivered. It was pretty good, my bf was eating like there was no tomorrow😂 i usually get ramen but this time I decided to get the wings. The flavor and crunch were good, especially for it to be delivered. What I did not like was that the bones were breaking so easily. Like I’m the middle of eating the wings and the bone is split. I know it’s probably out of their control but next time I would just get boneless wings, the bones were just off putting. Besides that the food was great and it’s not my last time visiting/ordering!
This place used to be really good, used to order here a lot. This recent time we got the curry Singapore noodles, soup, and green beans. My sister revisited wanting this again from her last visit a couple years ago. She did not like at all. It was edible but something’s changed about it idk.
Looks like they removed my review but they had left a piece of metal in my food. I had told them about it and they gave me a new bowl. That’s still unacceptable, will never be going back.
I used to like Tin Drum and went there often. My last two visits to two different locations completely changed my view. The rice was too sweet and overcooked. The miso soup was way too spicy. Boba tea was a disaster. Never again.
Put the hours of operation on the door and lock the store until you open. If employees have to knock thats fine, its better to be safe than sorry and this is Atlanta. For the safety and security of your staff, please.. Being cashless does not mean someone can't come in intending to rob the place, be pissed to find out you're cashless and then rob the employees for their personal belongings so they dont leave empty handed. Not to mention, random customers like me, just looking for a slushie and there being no hours on the door but the place is open. Im standing there waiting just to be told were actually closed. Foolishness.
I love their Pad Thai chicken, which I have bought twice, but today they gave me something else. Whatever is in the picture is not what I ordered nor what I want. They should get off their phones and stop arguing when they are package orders. Maybe they would get it right.
I ordered Pad Thai chicken, but when I got home I had been given something else with chicken. They probably messed up my order because they were busy arguing while packing my order. I don't know what this is, but it's not what I ordered.
The service was courteous and professional in an industry where it is hard to find.
The atmosphere was beautiful and the selection of sweet treats were delicious 😋
The ramen spice levels were just perfect not too spicy yet not too bland, And the service was amazing.
We ordered Bangkok curry, chicken chili, the food was awful and they gave us 3/4 rice and tiny pieces of chicken that tasted like rubber. The portions were child size. . I tried to call several times but no one picks up. I will never go to this tin drum again. Very disappointing knowing we used to go to this location several years ago all the time but not anymore.
Hello, I recently been coming here as a regular customer and throughout my times being here, I noticed/experienced horrible things from the service. There’s this short redhead girl who is extremely rude, inappropriate, and has an overall lack of respect towards customers. I’ve seen her always on her phone, eating at the cashier, and etc. I come in once and she was there at the register on her phone not even noticing I was there. To add insult to injury, I get no welcoming service from anybody which lead to me waiting 25 mins just for her to take my order and waited even longer for my food to be served. She needs to be FIRED!!! This is overall unacceptable behavior from this establishment and I will not be coming back.
I have read many reviews regarding this place stating it was "great" with dietary restrictions, providing "plenty" of options. That sounded great since I have celiac, so I decided to give it a try with my partner. When we got inside, we grabbed menus and quickly noticed that the menu does not mark what items are/can be made gluten free. I waited in line and asked what the gluten free items were. I was handed a list for all dietary restrictions, which showed a WHOPPING 3 OPTIONS for gluten free. This is not a LOT of options, especially when the other dietary restrictions (which were mostly ones of choice) had many more options/ variations. Needless to say, we walked out and went across the street to Curry Up Now :)
Quite disappointed in the staff and availability of products. We came specifically for Thai tea and they could not serve it to us because they were “out of cups.” The staff did not apologize and was rude to begin with.
First time eating from this restaurant. When my coworker arrived the girl at the front counter was so into her phone she didn’t see my coworker standing there to place an order. After arriving back to work with our food I noticed how watery my food looked. After I added my rice to it it’s still watery. Very dissatisfied!!! I will never eat here again. Then I added meat for an extra $3.50 and got 2 1/2 small peace’s of meat. What a rip off!!! Take your hard earned money elsewhere because they are a joke!!! Rice and broccoli soup Smdh 😡 not to mention there was not a single peace of eggplant in sight…RUNNNNN from this place
Ordered three items via DoorDash- one Pad Thai and 2 Ramen bowls. The Pad Thai was delivered to us but the ramen bowls were not. We asked the dasher, who claimed they did not have them, so decided to call the store simply to see if we could come and pick up the missing food. The person who answered the phone was very rude and eventually said “they didn’t have it” referring to the ramen bowls and that they “told the door dash driver” (instead of calling us to say the item was out of stock). We then spoke to the manager who was also rude and insisted we take it up with DoorDash. Used to eat here once in a while, will not be returning.
The employees who worm there have absolutely no proper training. I called to place an order she answers the phone as if she is answering her personal phone saying "hello" I thought I had the wrong number for a minute. I expressed to her "do I have the right number is this tindrum" she responds yes I said " hello twice." I told her I wanted to place and order to go. She said " I'm going to put you on hold. I was placed on hold for 10 min. Whe. I realized she never came back I called back 3+ times the phone kept ringing and ringing went to voicemail. This is not the only time I've experienced this. I am not going to force you guys to take my business. I will NEVER be back just horrible customer service.
Third time in a row, this place too a real long time to serve the food. Service is minimal but polite. Food is OK but sometimes very spicy.
Disjointed atmosphere and workers seem like they are surprised to see you and just look at you, which is the clue for you to talk. Today, I ordered and asked to add mushrooms and broccoli. They omitted tofu, though receipt showed it. I paid more and got LESS. I called for 20 min. Kept getting sent to voicemail log-in like I worked there and knew password. Then, I got stuck in some weird loop where I kept getting transferred to another queue. I guess they staple the bag shut to make it inconvenient to open and check.
No boba straw for boba tea is unacceptable. The tea is pretty much useless without the straw. And the flavor is just not there. Will not be coming back.
I love Tindrum but the service is slow. I ordered the firecracker cauliflower and I had 2 pieces that were raw cauliflower. They weren’t cooked all the way. But other than that good food.
Most of the food is great. This is the 2nd time I ordered a bowl of soup & was given a cup size instead. I say no utensils & they insist on putting plastic utensils inside of a plastic bag. I wish they would pay attention. We always ask for less sugar in the tea & it come out correctly half of the time.
Do not order beef/ short ribs from here. I had got angus short ribs for an extra 6 bucks ,and they do not give you anything. The meat ratio to rice ratio is so little. I paid 20 bucks for one meal because of the extra 6 bucks and extra 2 dollars for fried rice. It was no meat(pic attached to show). It was more veggies then meat. Then I had got a Singapore noodles with the Angus short ribs. They had forgot my meat. They had redid it ,but I got home and saw it. It was still NO meat for an extra 6 bucks, plus 1 buck extra for eggplant. Only 4 small things of eggplant. Then both dishes were sooooo spicy. Like level 4 and above! I did NOT ask for that much spice! The spice was beyond hell. I couldn't even enjoy my meal! Someone was being spiteful overdoing it with the spice! I was very disappointed! As I frequent this location 2 times a month and drive 1 hour away from Monroe to get my food. 44 plus bucks for two meals and a fried cheesecake. The dessert was good minus the red sauce. I could have went to Longhorn and got more meat and quality If I known I wasn't going to get any beef for the price I paid for. Worse meals I have ever had from here.
**Picture attached below of the little bit of short ribs. I paid 20 bucks for that meal. Only two bites ,and the meat would have been done. Ridiculous. Never again will I order beef from ya'll.
Carlos is so nice! The team is efficient and food is good!
Love the sesame stir-fry and have tried it with different proteins shrimp and chicken grilled and fried!
Awful! My delivery order was completely messed up. Called the restaurant was hung up on, Called back and was put on endless hold
I ordered boba with brown sugar boba and there was no boba in it🤦🏽♀️
Love the new menu! Pamela and the rest of the staff at this location are amazing!
This restaurant provides little in the way of honest, generosity. We ordered the curry and sesame entrees at Uber Eats. They might blame their lack of honesty on the Uber App, but really, it’s the restaurants responsibility to make certain customers at Uber Eats understand what they are getting. My order had eight shrimp and rice for $16. I thought it would include vegetables. But no. The portion was small and it was not worth the time, money and drive I made there to pick up the order.
I do not recommend you eat anything from this restaurant. I threw my food in the trash. The customer service was pleasant. The cashier lied about the quality of the food. The wings are not chicken wings I ever ate before because they had entirely too much fleshy fat on them. I started spitting out the chicken as soon as I started biting into it. Mind you I asked for extra crispy and the outside of the chicken was crispy but biting into was fleshy fat. So that was thrown away and not ate. The ramen I ordered was thick and the salmon was dry. They put a rotten looking egg in the ramen because it looked brownish- gray. I threw the egg out and poured the broth into it and attempted to eat it but I couldn’t. The chewiness and dry texture of the salmon with big chunks of raw scallions had my stomach upset. I threw the whole meal right in the trash dumpster with a loud thump. I didn’t like to waste money or food. I will never eat hear again!
Great food as always! Tamia was so friendly :)
If you like your money stolen, please go to this restaurant. I ordered 2 entrees that I would pick up on Saturday night. I arrive and wait. A stapled bag is handed to me. I ask if both orders are in there. "yes" was the reply. I get home to eat my dinner. Only 1 order in the bag. I immediately call the restaurant to address the issue. Wont answer the phone. Mail box is not operational. I called for 30 mins. No answer. I filled out their contact form, same night. I got an automated reply on Monday (2 days later) saying their response window 2 days. I replied to that email, twice. It's now Friday (6 days later), and they haven't heard a thing. They've had my contact info the whole time.
In summary if you like to lose your money go to this restaurant full of crooks.
Edit: It's been almost a year. I still don't have my money back.
Absolutely love the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp!
Dining at this restaurant was such a delight and pleasurable experience from start to finish. The manager, Brandon, was so attentive and helpful. I had a hard time deciding what to order for me and my children, and his suggestions from food to the Boba teas were perfect! My boys were completely satisfied...(even the picky one!) The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience. My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional! Thank you Brandon and staff!
Excellent service! The food came fast and it was delicious. The teriyaki and orange pepper wings were amazing. The manager, Jason was so polite and helpful. I will definitely be back!
Great service! Great food! I got the Japanese Teryaki, teriyaki wings and mango Boba tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. The manager, Jason, is very helpful, polite and ensures that your time here will be great! He gives great reccomendations of what food items you should get as well. Definitely will be coming back!
Let me tell you I'm a big Tin Drum fan. I come to this location frequently. I mainly come to get these cream cheese egg roll things that come with this amazing tasting orange sauce. Got home and the orange sauce was missing and our fried chicken meals were grilled chicken. I politely called just to mention in the future to try and remember the sauce, as it is a part of the main reason I (and perhaps others) go here. The young lady on the other end said, 'you called because you're missing sauce?' To which I responded, that after spending $40 on two meals and that's the response I get that I won't be back....and I won't. There's another location equidistant that I'm happy to give a try to instead.
Edit: Oh, they didn't give me the right kind of egg rolls... So that's probably why the sauce is missing. I've never had these egg rolls before but they're inedible.
My kid enjoyed her Boba, the rest was a $30 waste of money.
Nice clean place to pick up great tasting food! They have three levels of spiciness that actually gets pretty hot!
Good fresh food
Food was very good, the staff helped me with ordering. I will be coming back
Always Good
Great food!
Great Service!
Everything is made fresh and quick, always adding new items.
My favorite is the strawberry and cream slushie and chicken sesame bowl!
I love TinDrum, not this one. The starter and tea were forgotten and tasted like soap. The host was rude, and the manager was sagging. If you want a better experience, make the drive to the one by the AMC. (I forgor the name of the plaza :( sorry)
I’ve been coming here for quite a while now and the food is great! There is an issue with consistency however. Sometimes when I order here I get the best Phuket Woon Sen, other times it’s been way too much sauce. One time when ordering delivery I got a completely different meal than I ordered. That being said, they are great in customizing meals with different proteins and vegetables. The crab Rangoon rolls are absolutely divine, and I love the snacks available for purchase at the front.
"Wow, the food at Tin Drum in Decatur is absolutely amazing! From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away by the incredible flavors and the perfect balance of spices. The menu offers a wide variety of options, so there's something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Tin Drum for anyone looking for a delicious meal that will leave you wanting more!"
Absolutely fantastic experience! Food is never a disappointment! Will be going back to this establishment!
Amazing service and great food
Great food and helpful staff!
My favorite restaurant!
I ordered take out & delivery for a group of 50 & Jason at the Decatur store was extremely helpful, patient & kind. The delivery was made by 2 delightful people who carefully put out the food & all the accessories that came with it - perfectly on time! The food was delicious although I probably ordered too much! Will definitely use them again! Thx Jason!
Great customer service and I love the freshness of the food! Definitely recommend!
I ordered Chinatown Lo Mein and it tasted awful. How is it possible that this food was put on the menu? Did anyone try the food before it was added to the menu?
It's the worst food I've ever had.
Never got to order. I came when it was slow and barely any customers. Multiple employees saw me and never greeted me or asked about an order. Absolutely terrible customer service.
Disappointing is the only word to describe the service and food. I ordered a meal that was brought to my table with 4 minutes... and I wondered how that was possible. You guessed it pre-cooked food and yes, the chicken was cold, unseasoned, drowning in sauce and the rice was in chunks. Not an ounce of hot food. The "stir fried" veggies were limp...an indication that it was frozen and barely microwaved. This place was good once upon a time... but lacks consistency now. Definitely a waste of hard earned money.
I totally understand the frustration with coming in 30 minutes before closing as a former server. To make it easier, I make sure to have orders ready in 5 minutes or less and make it to go to evaluate stress.
However, the attitude that was shared with my family was completely unnecessary. I watched as multiple staff members made eye contact with me and ignored us at the cashier's desk.
After some time I had to call someone over, and the young lady was very disgruntled.
Another staff tossed our straws on the table after I took two of our drinks from her. Altogether it was a very negative experience.
My dad's to-go Thai coconut soup serving was abnormally small and they only placed 4 pieces of shrimp in my mother's pad Thai.
I understand when we have a bad day, but that in itself was disgusting. And that's coming from someone who's been to this location before this experience.
I ordered through the app and ordered fried tofu with my order and I didn’t receive my tofu fried it literally looked raw and they just drizzled sauce on top. I had to go home and throw my tofu on a pan and fry it myself. This is ridiculous, you can’t even do simple tasks you need to get on your staff because this is unacceptable! I promise you I will go to another tindrum next time because I could have just made this at home. Horrible!! I posted before and after pictures to show what i got vs what I wanted looks like! Get it together tin drum Decatur! This location is the worst! Please hire qualified people that want to work!
I came in and ordered my food and as I am waiting one female employee walks in kitchen with see through black pants that I could clearly see her thong. Not to mention a young man walks to Cas register on phone with his underwear in clear site. Sagging. Oh, and as I walked in I thought someone was arguing because two employees were in corner talking/cussing very loud. On another more positive note Annabella is always pleasant whenever she is taking my order.
Came inside. Ordered one thing. Maybe a total of 3 other customers, yet still took almost 30 minutes sitting there to receive order. Pictures showed a sauce-covered savory sesame meal, but the small plate I received had almost no sauce at all, making the meal lack hardly any taste. Save your money and go to a true local Asian restaurant. This was a joke and I won’t be back.
Don’t order the ramen if you expect a jammy yolked egg. It comes with an overcooked rubbery egg. It is not a ramen egg with a not too runny, not too hard and jammy yolk. The photo in the menu shows a jammy egg but that is not what you get.
Excellent food and several varieties of boba teas. Delicious Asian fusion food.
Panang Curry w/ cauliflower is delicious!
The food looked weird. I got the bangkok sweet chili and it is usually orange color. this order at this location was more white and it just did not sit right with me. I will not be back.
Brandon & Jason ALWAYS make sure my meal is on point. I’ve been going to this location for a year now and my meal has NEVER been off the mark before I leave……
The food was delicious, my family enjoyed every part. Customer service was quick and enjoyable.
This restaurant is absolutely unprofessional. Many of the staff were on their phones. My call in order was not ready when I came in the restaurant after 45 minutes after calling it in. The staff had no urgency when both taking orders or serving customers. Very poorly run restaurant.
Came here and did a pickup order. The service was fast and good was made fresh and hot to order. I got the fried tofu citrus pad thai, crab and cream cheese spring roll, and a veggie spring roll. Everything tasted delicious and was still hot when I got home. There was plenty of seating inside and it was clean. Will definitely be back again!
The staff was not very friendly, being that it was my first time the food was not great. The meat was tough. I was not impressed.
I ordered the tempura cauliflower to go. It was awesome. Hot and tasty. I also ordered the fried chicken sweet and savory chicken. It was terrible. The chicken must have been cooked in advance and all they did was pour hot savory sauce on top. The chicken was cooked so hard, I couldn’t chew it and had to spit it out. It was so supposed to come with sesame seeds and red peppers. No sesame seeds and only a few cut up red peppers. Not sure if I will come back. To pay $12 for the chicken dish was ridiculous for what I received.
Great service, clean facility, and amazing food.
One of my favorite new spots... especially since I'm a fan of ramen and there aren't any on my side of town... we all know how that goes... but I digress. The food was great both times I went. Cool location plus my friend lives close by. Check it out.
Great flavor. Well done fusion food.
Our food order was made incorrectly 3 times over several weeks and, although they offered to refund it on the third occasion, they couldn’t even process it without me physically returning to the store in question. This Tin Drum is a write-off, they’ll undoubtedly screw up your order and you’ll have to drive back to get refunded… take your money somewhere else.
I got the Panang curry with tofu and fried rice. The tofu tasted like it’d gone bad, I tried it a couple times but knew it tasted off so I couldn’t finish it.
I came here on a weekday evening, and when I ordered, I had to repeat my order like 4 times before the lady at the register got my food correct. She kept repeating it back to me incorrectly, and while there was a long line behind me to order, she was on her phone on the side of the counter rather than taking orders. She also had one of her arms inside of her shirt, while I was ordering food, it was uncomfortable.
I ended up waiting about 45 min to get my take out order... For fast casual food, that was entirely too much time. Everyone who was waiting with us, they all waited about the same time, but this is not normal for other Tin Drum locations.
I love the curries here, so I wish this location would do better with the service.
Overall SLOW. The people don’t seem like they understand anything you’re saying. Delayed response time to normal questions. They just seem like they just woke up.
I ordered a Thai basil rice and the guy added double veggies because I didn’t want a protein. I didn’t ask for double veggies.
I barely got any rice because of all the vegetables and there was no egg at all.
Would not recommend or frequent again.
This 3 rating is being very generous. Considering my food came out cold, disgusting, with more sauce than rice, and unseasoned. They were kind in swapping out my food with an equally disgusting replacement. Each time I visit and the food is decent there is Spanish music playing loud from the back. When it’s not, the food was horrible. Not sure what to think but probably wont return for awhile in hopes it changes. Dunwoody location is much better.
Just tasty meals. That's what's going on in there
The staff is sososo sweet . But when I ordered a small dish it gave me the runs 🏃♀️ . And I threw up …. I’m almost afraid to come back here
Sheraton was great. Pricey but delicious.
Sooo good!!
Jason and Brandon were awesome. Food is always great.
