It’s nothing fancy, delivery people are in and out and there’s only ever one server handling everything. But the food is on point. The thai teas are some of the best I’ve ever had. The duck curry is great and even the average dishes like the pad thai and green curry are well done.
This isn’t a place that will win any Michelin stars or be lauded in the next issue of Food & Wine, but when you’re craving some simple thai, Tasty Thai is the place to go.

I’ve order now a total of 4 times from them and their food is always good. I highly recommend the drunken noodles and the beef noodle soup. Good portion sizes and very filling. The Thai ice tea is very refreshing and overall very yummy food. For East New York Thai food is hard to come by and this is a great option. I am looking forward to trying the fried ice cream soon.

We will not be ordering for delivery again!

Service is ok. Food is okay nothing special. Bill came and was $31.58. I paid 40 and wanted change. Waitress returned $3 and took a $5 tip without my consent which is ridiculous. I tipped her more than 5 dollars but the pettiness had to be noted. On top of the $5 dollars that she took for her self I gave her $2 and change. She received $7+ even though she didn't deserve it. It's a fake Thai restaurant. The food is pretty weak. The very small chicken wings were regular breaded wings American style. The sweet chili sauce is like watered down to the max. Pretty bad experience. Save your money. The funny thing was the waitress asked if we wanted change like the food was amazing or something when we handed her the money and got shortchanged. There's better Thai food a couple blocks away.

I am always super weary of getting take-out Thai food so I approach it with caution. And let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised!

Tried two of the apps: curry puffs and chive dumpings. The former were delicious. I didn't really care about the dipping sauce and didn't think it was necessary. The puffs were so delicate and the filling quite delicious and flavorful. There are a handful of dishes I would judge a Thai place on and chive dumplings/squares are absolutely one of them and I could not get enough of these. The portion was huge (8 pieces) and the perfect amount of crispiness outside with mushiness inside you would want.

Two mains. First was a sleeper hit: ground meal basil with fried egg. This is another dish I would certainly judge Thai places on and this was great. at first a skosh salty and I don't typically love minced meat. But once you mix the rice into it, it was perfectly balanced. A good amount of spice. The fried egg broke apart nicely and added another lovely texture on top. Also grabbed the pad see ew. This one was just fine in terms of flavor. Another huge portion. Admittedly I ate this about two days after ordering so maybe it just didn't save super well, but this was my least favorite of the dishes.

I almost never order takeout and think wow I would love to go in person, but this place is one of those places.

The food was so amazing. I really enjoy the food here. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to give this Thai restaurant a chance.

One star bc the lady who works at the register is racist or has no customer experience. Ruined my experience, I've been a customer since the first day that Tasty opened under a different management back in 2012. The food has been great- now is even better. I like the guy with the wing tattoos and the usual host that wears a hat-don't remember his name but he is extra attentive, always courteous, never has a long face, goes beyond and above to provide an excellent service.

I got the Massaman curry and my partner got the Bamee Kaeng Gai noodle soup. This was probably some of the best Thai food either of us has had in a while. The portions were massive and it was very flavorful. Easy could have split either of our dishes but glad we tried both. I would highly recommend it.

It’s hard not to be pleased with everything about my experience at Tasty Thai. It’s an unassuming corner restaurant but with a definite presence - upbeat music, a fury of pans cooking on high heat in the back, and of course a most friendly waiter. I can certainly recommend the one dish I got, the Chicken Prik King. A special homemade sauce that is deep red. Spicy and with a full flavor. Feels like the real deal. Cold water always kept full and a hefty conical serving of rice. The name of the place is not a misnomer to me.

Food from Tasty Thai is tasty, but today I did order red curry and I had just half ingredients inside - chicken, bell pepper and basil. I did not had any eggplant and bamboo shoots. A little bit disappointing.

I came here with a vegetarian friend, since the restaurant seemed like it would have offerings for both of us. I got the drunken noodles with chicken and my friend got pineapple fried rice with tofu. The portions were absolutely huge and greatly priced - we both ended up taking half of our food as leftovers.

There is a reason why the reviewers recommend the drunken noodles so much! They DO NOT skimp on these toppings and the dish has great variety of flavors and textures. The sauce is savory and the noodles are perfectly cooked!

Very tasty. Had the Thai tea, it was delicious. Wouldn't like a little more meat in the meals. My pineapple rice with chicken was good but needed a sauce on the side. Curry puffs were good. Spice level was good.

Literally some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The chicken pad Thai was delicious and the calamari was actually full of meat and not just breading. 10/10

Their Spring rolls are delicious; the order has a few pieces with sauce and lettuce. The Green Chicken Curry is good, and pretty spicy. Someone in our party ordered Duck, also pretty good.

The portions are on the smaller sides. The shop is cozy with a few small tables for 2 people. They can push tables together to accommodate larger parties. The furniture and decor are pretty dated and underwhelming. Service was so-so. The waitress was polite and tried to be helpful, but not very attentive even though there was only 1 other group at the restaurant.

It's more of a local shop to pop-in than one to go out of your way for.

The restaurant is usually empty but they get many orders for delivery/pick-up.

Bad tasting food. This is not thai food at all in my opinion. Everything tasted wrong in our order and was missing flavors. Some items were stale as the Pad thai that was overcooked, sticky and tasted like bbq sauce. Vegetable summer rolls had just lettuce, missing the glass noodles and veggies. Only had a piece of fried tofu in the middle and was stale as well. Horrible experience.

Usually order takeout from here once or twice a month. Food is consistently good. We usually get the Thai fried rice and red curry. Good value and portions. Could use more meat but that’s fine. Their yuzu lemonade is delicious and refreshing. 5 stars!!

ordered veggie wonton soup and got chicken. i am severely allergic to chicken, and i bit into the wonton thinking it was veggie but it was filled with chicken, which means i also drank chicken broth thinking it was veggie. i am sick now due to this restaurants carelessness. there was also a black hair in my pad thai, and i have blonde so we know it wasn’t mine. needless to say never ordering again.

I can't really say much about atmosphere because they get plenty of take out. Guess folks are still scared of the covid scare. Anyhow I'm sure with a group of friends it would have been nice. I was alone and ordered out too. It's a pretty little place. The staff are very amicable from the gals who took my order and even one of the fellas delivering. I am tired of my local Chinese food and decided to try Thai. I wish I would have tried this place first... it redeemed my 1st experience at another subpar place. I couldn't decide what to order. So $70 worth was worth the whole sum. The curry puffs were a different twist for me but good. The chive dumplings i expected like scallion pancakes. It was these triangular cubes with a pleasurable & earthy taste made even better by the sauce. I would have ate them all but I needed to leave space for the rest. Shrimp rolls were exactly shrimps enveloped like a roll including a sauce. Note: each appetizer had a different sauce. Oh, Salad! Beef salad pretty spicey for the spicey challenged. I'm Puerto Rican, I can handle it and it was pleasurable. Pineapple rice was slightly sweet but not off putting especially when the lime wedge is sprinkled over it. Soup... I ordered with tofu... oh my if I had the space but I was full. So the soup alone i would curl up with the remote & be sucking my thumb in bed, if I still did that. 🤣 Tea did not disappoint. Hit the spot. I had no more space for dessert... good thing I forgot to order fried ice-cream. 😁 Note: if you aren't accustomed to cashews in your rice/meal... remember to request without. I don't understand why add them so I picked them out and ate them later like I do pistachios. 😁

The food was great!! The ginger and pad see ew were so delicious, fragrant, and full of flavor!! A definite RE-ORDER!!

They rip you off on portion sizes. Ordered two large soup because I like soup when the weather gets cold. The large was one dollar less than two small sizes would be. I assumed this would be a double serving of soup. Instead of a 32 ounce container (which is double the size of the small 16 oz container) it was a 24 ounce container that wasn't quite filled (see pic). When I did a comparison using only containers I'd saved from this restaurant and the untouched large size of soup I'd just ordered, I discovered that I paid almost double for only four more ounces of soup. I opened the large soup and filled one of their small soup containers, then poured the remaining soup into another one of their small soup containers. You can see in the pictures the result. Then I poured them into a measuring cup. The first small soup container held almost 16 ounces the second, which held all the remaining soup from the large container, added only four more ounces.
If they do this with soup I'm assuming they do this with all of their portion sizes, so lesson learned, only order multiples of small sizes if you want your moneys worth from this restaurant.

We’ve been ordering take-out from Tasty Thai for years now. Most other Thai places just don’t have any where close to the depth in flavor that is repeatedly served up with consistency at Tasty Thai... All their curries are regular favs in our house and their Pad Thai and basil dishes are my personal favorites..

First off I worked in Thailand 8 years so I know good Thai when I taste it. This is not it, I had to the Chicken Basil fried rice and tom yum soup. The rice is very greasy and doesn’t have the typical flavor you’d expect. The soup was really below average. Had about 20 white mushrooms and 3-4 shrimp. No actual lemongrass or brown mushroom per usual. 2nd time I ordered. Just not good enough. They don’t seem to have actual Thai recipes.

I gave 3 star bcz of poor customer service. The lady attitude was just not right. Her tone was not right. If I’m paying for food atleast be nice. The food was good but attitude need adjustment

Came here for lunch. The deal was pretty good, for $8.99 you get a drink, appetizer and an entrée. The thai iced tea was pretty good but the appetizer and the drunken noodle were just okay. I’ve had better thai food. Though I’ll give it another try to see if the other dishes are any better.

Okay so let me start by saying I’ve been coming here for Thai food for years and usually get the drunken noodles. I have never had a problem. I have tried many Thai restaurants and honestly this is the best place for authentic Thai food. The flavor is great and the spice is nice. So this is where my low rating comes in,
Unfortunately, I recently ordered my usual go to and it didn’t sit right with me. The taste was off and it sent me straight to the restroom thank god I was home. I thought it was regular food poisoning but nope it lasted for a week that I had to go and see my dr and guess what it was a PARASITE.
I got a horrible virus from this place and unfortunately due to this and lack of proper handling with food I am no longer eating here because I don’t trust them anymore. And I know for sure it was from this place because before I ate from here I was fine and went straight to the bathroom after I ate the drunken noodles.

A cute little place- and the drunken noodles were great for the price. No major complaints.

The food is absolutely delicious everytime we order from Tasty Thai. The service/delivery is always fast and friendly, and they always get the order right. The food/vegetables are always very fresh as well. This will always be our go-to Thai restaurant! I rarely write reviews but I truly wish this place much success.

Had delivery from here and it’s legit the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Fish was off. Spring rolls had no content. Som tam tasted of nothing and used old veg. Unless they are somehow outsourcing their deliveries, it’s a mystery how anyone with a mouth could rate this place. Avoid avoid avoid!

The food was tasty but a little too salty and lunch special or not I have NEVER received such a small portion of food in my entire Thai eating life.

I have a friend who eats at Thai tasty often so I decided to try it out.

For about $20 I got a chicken panang curry and an order of the curry puffs. The portions were decent and I was able to get two meals out of it.

The curry had a nice flavor but was a little on the thinner side (although I feel that it was pretty on par with other places in the area). If I’m in the area, I wouldn’t mind ordering it again.

I normally love curry puffs but I was unfortunately not a fan of these. It didn’t seem or taste like there was any chicken in them at all.

The only reason for this place not getting a 5 star is because of the poor seating. It's winter & the seats next to the door gets hit with the cold air once the door opens. The heat isn't on either or just barely on.

Food: delicious! If you want spicy and I mean real spicy .. they will make it! The shrimp was made well. The duck was delicious and moist. The seasoning was on point. The soup was yummy. The curry puff pastry was great. The Thai Iced tea made well & not sickly sweet or super bitter.

Decor: needs some revamping. Seating isn't very comfortable.

Staff: friendly.

Parking: it's either good or really bad!

Was not worth the money for some expensive food The Duck (duck curry)was dry and hard as a rock (how)could not even chew it, The fried pork the few tiny pieces that I had was an edible it was hard as a rock and it was more steamed vegetables than pork, drunken noodles were soggy again the meat was chewy and the Thai tea and coffee had no taste and this tiny little small trays That we’re not even filled will not eat there again. Nothing was edible.

It was hot 90 outside..so we asked can they turn on the ac.. Her response was well...😠.im HOT to!!!!.. and walked away. I had relocated my own family to another table as the advice of another customer who let us know the ac was on...on that side. She told us at the end to order take out next time. And keep our tip because we are going to need it. Im guessing because we were BLACK!!!#ImmaReporthertoherMANAGERASWELL!!

The food was delicious, it's a bit small but it felt authentic

My go to for Thai in the neighborhood. My favorite is the pad prik khing...it's great with shrimp, mock duck or tofu. Their wings are great (a tad bit salty but delicious)...their soups are pretty good as well.

I always come to eat here for meal when I'm in the area. The staff is always very warm and welcoming. Their food is always on point. Their Thai ice tea here is awesome.

Tasty Thai should be called Most Super Tasty Thai in the Neighborhood!! We had an impromptu order-in night this week, and our dinner was so yummy :) Spring rolls, cashew beef, Thai Iced tea - on point. We special-requested coconut sticky rice (only mango is listed on menu) and were thrilled when we received it. Tasty Thai will always be our regular go-to spot :)

This place is so unbelievably good. I had the avocado curry today and my goodness. Delicious. The staff is friendly and the food is perfect. My new favorite place in the neighborhood.
