Thai Food and full bar.
Came here with some friends for lunch and got the mojito for my drink and we all shared the combo appetizers which was good! My entree I got the pad see see noodles with chicken and my favorite soup is the Tom ga kha! All the dishes came out fast which was good. Parking can be hard since it’s busy on a Saturday so try to come out early
Food was so hot! That’s a good thing! I was foolish and not right into my pot stickers and burned my mouth so bad it took a week for the burns to heal by my molars. Ouch!
So be careful! :)
I got the veggie pot stickers and they were very tasty. I also got the tofu satay. It was ok. Not what I was expecting. And it lacked the satay flavor. The peanut sauce was good. Service was sparse — but I think they weee trying to give space? Would have been better if they came to check on me. It took a while to get my check so I could leave.
We ordered a mixed starter A. It was ok. My son ordered the Duck pad thai. He was happy with that.
I ordered the Chicken green curry and it was possibly the worst I have eaten in 25 years globally. Chicken green is the international benchmark. But it is not made with Thai chillies. The guy offered me chili flakes and chillies in fish sauce. Trying to tell me thats the way it was meant to be.Try Lim Ross Winter Park instead
They have pretty good Thai food, but nothing too impressive. Pretty standard menu with all the classics like chicken satay, curries, stir fried, and noodles dishes. I liked the panang curry and chicken satay the most. Service was friendly, and prices are reasonable. I'd come back.
Best Thai food in Orlando. The staff is so unbelievably sweet and accommodating too, could not recommend Thai Place any higher. Beautiful restaurant, delicious menu
Went here for dinner on a weeknight. We had a Hungarian server, I don’t remember her name. But she was lovely. The food was also amazing.
My favorite Thai food. You'll be hooked once you try it.
Great shrimp soup! I will visit again
Always love coming here. Great staff and the vegan pad Thai is excellent!
I used to love Thai Place but the last couple of times we’ve ordered it, the quality has just gone downhill to the point that I give up.
Tonight the “peanut sauce” was more like tan water, zero flavor. Call me crazy but if dinner costs almost $80 for two, I shouldn’t have to mix my own peanut butter to make the dish edible.
If you can’t afford to make your dishes with the same quality as in the past, then raise your prices instead of cutting quality. You’ve lost a local customer, I’ll never order from Thai Place again and I will never recommend it as I used to.

First of all, the delivery took to long. Food was cold.I ordered pad se ew, paid extra for extra egg and literally got no egg. I called to speak to the manager and all she had to say was that she saw them put eggs in it. That there was nothing she could do. Horrible customer service. Never again.
Always very kind whether we dine in our takeout. We have tried other Thai restaurants in the area but this is our favorite, they are friendly and their food is consistent and delicious.
Food was ok, decent portion. Service was good. Music choice, questionable.
Love this place especially since they can accommodate to my gluten free request
Best Thai food in Orlando area!! 😋
Love their pineapple fried rice with chicken & shrimp & mango sticky rice
I visited this place previously and got great service from Judit. She was patient and gave my party wonderful recommendations which worked out wonderfully. She was not here during this visit. I’ll look for her the next time I visit. The food is home made and tastes great!
Everything is fresh and delicious. I go there all the time and it's consistently outstanding. All the staff are so wonderful too!
I come in regularly to where the wait staff recognizes me and asked if I got my regular order. While ordering online I accidentally made a wrong selection on an entree and didn’t find out until I arrived, and was hoping to get it corrected for a different but the same priced item.
The restaurant and kitchen was unwillingly work with me at all. The guy whose name is on the check gladly took the tip and passed me off to another person. It’s sad after being a customer for a few years how they’re unwilling to work with their customers on a mistake and turn their back on you after taking your money. After consistently tipping them it’s really disheartening.
Safe to say that this will be the last time I will be ordering from the establishment.
Not good at all. I’ve eaten plenty of Thai food and this is not it. The food tasted as if it was the left overs and the kitchen staff did not want to make us a fresh meal. We had a chicken pad Thai. What was provided was just the noodles with chicken and bean sprouts on top, no other additions were added. We also ordered a chicken panang curry, which was decent, for veggies it had 70% carrots and the other 30% was zucchini with 4 pieces of peppers and 1 basil leaf. The chicken also tasted old. The white rice was really hard. Never going back. Could be a decent restaurant but this was a horrible food experience.

One of my favorite places for dining in and take out.
Delicious food! Everything came out very quickly and hot! Very fast, very polite service! And a great relaxing atmosphere. It’s small, but well organized.
Love this place!
Amazing food and amazing service. My favorite thai place
Horrible customer service. I’ll never go back.

If you’re looking for a good Thai restaurant, here it is!!!!!!! I absolutely love Thai Place!! I always get one of their curries and its always perfect!! The portions are huge so just make sure you’re hungry or ready to eat the leftovers :). They are always fast and so kind whether you’re eating in or getting takeout.
I eat here frequently. I love the Panang Curry with tofu. The servers are very friendly
this is a beautiful restaurant, great food and excellent service. grateful 🙏
Great Nina and the team. I know for 2 decades now
Owner Nina and her husband know them for 20 or so years. Really dedicated to customers, honest, food is amazing as ajways
The portions were sizable, and the price reasonable, highly recommend!
I love this place! The staff is extremely nice and the food is amazing. I bring my family here every time they are in town to visit and they never disappoint. I also enjoy dining here alone and I love the little touches they add to the meal like
Making the rice heart-shaped. The environment is beautiful as well. 5 stars always!
My son and I enjoyed the food and the drinks are very good.
Really great food and service. The wontons were great and I loved the green curry. Definitely try the Pattaya Breeze cocktail!
The food is amazing. I got the roti with peanut sauce, summer rolls, green curry and yellow curry, both with chicken. Everything is sooo fresh and good. The yellow curry could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but still really flavorful. I ate the peanut sauce with the yellow curry and the flavors go so well together. Will definitely be back!
The food here was bland & tasteless which is shocking because good Thai is usually bursting with flavor. My drunken noodles were dry & bland. Same for my husband’s basil fried rice where the only discernible flavor was basil. Extremely disappointed. I gave 2 stars for the friendly customer service and tasty Thai iced tea.
This place never disappoints. Staff is warm and friendly. Food is amazing. Atmosphere very nice. My favorite Thai restaurant.
The absolute best Thai restaurant in Orlando! The food is amazing. The service is quick and excellent. It is my favorite place to eat!
Food was phenomenal, would recommend Fried Rice, Peanut Curry, Edamame, Satay and peanut Roti appetizer! Service was lovely and fast, 10/10 restaurant!
Excellent service and Good Food.
The food was fantastic! We had Vegetarian Fresh Summer Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, and Red Curry in Thai Hot. Everything was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was good, with nice music at a comfortable volume, clean restaurant, and attentive servers. This is the best Thai place we've been to in Florida and will definitely return!
Food lacked so much flavor and ingredients. It’s in a cute plaza location. But I’d defiantly avoid coming here if you’re looking for some yummy and good Thai food.
Very average Thai. Decently priced but seemed to be cutting corners all over. Served us flat soda from 2l bottle. Barely any sauce/veggies in the drunken noodle definitely lacking some flavor.
Loved it!
Came in on a whim and what a happy accident! The green curry is wonderful, and my husband had the duck and shrimp. He got an enormous serving and said it’s the best Thai food he’s ever had.
The food was so tasty and flavorful. The drunken rice is by far the best drunken rice I have ever tasted. The chicken wings is sweet and juicy. Like literally no issues. If they were fried harder I would have been in heaven. The cream cheese wontons were delicious. Like they weren’t too sweet and the dipping sauce tasted great with it. I would recommend anyone who loves Thai food to visit this place.
Truly the BEST Thai food I’ve found in the area, it is my go to. Everything is so flavorful and cooked to perfection, the chicken wings and drunken noodles are my go tos. But everything here is amazing.
Service is always nice and attentive as well
Payed over 28.00 for some cup of noodles food.. Save your money and make the noodles your self.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. We love the massaman curry and the yellow curry. Their wings are also very good. Fried rice is very good. We get a combination one. The staff is pleasant.
Great Pad Thai and Spring Rolls
Food is terrible and watered down
Has No Taste
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
Chicken pad Thai hot has no taste at all!!
And expensive …
Giving 2 stars because the online ordering system was user friendly and took apple pay the Tom Ka was bland and tasted like someone just warmed up a can of coconut milk added some veggies there was no flavor at all! The Summer rolls were tiny and sad looking they a
had half a piece of shrimp
on one side and one piece of thai basil under it the rest was stuffed with shredded Ice berg lettuce and barely any noodles and then the peanut sauce was watered down peanut butter, I’ve eaten this combo countless time at many different establishments and have even cooked it at home and never had I had this bland and slopped together
This was my second visit to the Thai place. Although I found the food to be good it wasn't worth the astronomical tab for 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains. We won't be going back.
Great service! Nice atmosphere! Food is not the greatest especially Tum Yum, the broth is good but the shrimp and mushrooms are undercooked and the manager didn’t seem to care about the costumer feedback and that’s the reason we won’t be back and won’t recommend anyone to come.
Food was AMAZING. I’m big on service and atmosphere, though. The actual ambiance is nice, but the energy was… strange. As soon as I walked in, the hostess was sitting at a table with her friends. She seats me, and while I’m waiting a few minutes for my server, a woman is pacing the restaurant with her hands behind her back, looking intently at the tables, and the guests. I felt like I was back in school taking a test lol. This place deserves every good review it gets for the food. I’ll come back, hoping that tonight was just an off night
The food is so good! I love the vegetarian options!
Friendly and attentive service! I love how they put my mother's dish (without egg, no spicy) in a different-styled dish to not confuse the server (or us!) Details like that shows that the company cares about getting the order correct the first time! My mom's modifications didn't make the cook's life hard, and in return she got exactly what she wanted!
Even though it was our first time eating here, we were treated like well. Food came out hot and fresh! Wonderful pad thai here!!! As you can see on my page, I LOVE CHICKEN PAD THAI, and this dish went beyond my expectations! I was visiting all the way from Orlando for a celebration of life of a friend's mother. I made a quick stop to fill up my belly before I help feed those who are grieving. Thank you!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Top notch authentic curry with fresh ingredients. One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Judit, our server, was funny, efficient, and genuinely helpful with guiding us through the menu. The yellow curry was hands down best yellow curry I've had in Florida.
The best Thai food in town! Ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken over Jasmine rice and my wife order Pad Sew, it was delicious
Definitely recommend this place, we are definitely coming back!
All consistent with the quality and taste of food. Staff is super friendly and remembers you. Atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. Parking isn't the best during busy times though.
Great food and the service was wonderful. Strong drinks!
First time there. Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had the drunken noodles. Very good and ample portion at a fair price. Good friendly service. Would definely return when in the area.
1/8/2024
Our server was nice and the food was fine. The pad Thai was a bit more sour than I typically go for and the spice level was pretty mild for "hot". The restaurant was clean... I'm not going out of my way to go back but if someone suggested to meet there, I would go again.
My family and I are frequent customers at Thai Place, often dining in. We drive 45+ minutes for this place. Today, a take out order was placed online and an ETA was provided. After I showed up at the restaurant, the employees "forgot" to accept the order and we had to wait another 30 minutes for the food. After we took the food home, a food item was missing from the order. I called Thai Place and they said they would re make it. However, upon arrival, the staff said they already gave me the missing food, accused me of lying and wanted picture evidence. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism encountered today. I would not recommend this place. My family and I will be going to somewhere else for Thai Food.
Been going here for years! Food is always excellent, love the Nam Sod salad. Service is always efficient and friendly.
I ordered the Chow Mein with chicken for takeout. Some pieces of chicken were a bit drier than I would have liked bout overall I enjoyed my meal. It reminded me of Ramen minus the broth. My food was ready in a matter of minutes & I ate everything.
Food and service are outstanding!
Dank eats
Delicious and fresh food! Wonton soup and pad krapow for a wonderful lunch!
Thai place is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. The Thai tea, Tom Kha soup and Panang red snapper is definitely a must! The staff is nice and the service is always great!
Service was great, quick! The staff worked together as a team, any one of the staff that passed by checked on our table and asked if we needed anything and helped serve us. I tried the drunken shrimp fried rice. Food was amazingly delicious and flavorful with a little spice to it. Absolutely Loved it. My party enjoyed their meals. I would definitely stop by here again. If you are looking for great Thai food, I would recommend this place.
They don't need dine-in guests.Busy with online and mobile app orders. Portions are miniscule and are served in big platters for optical deception. They prefer serving occidentals before other people considering they are themselves not white. Bad scene. Felt bad and lost appetite.
Thai Place has traditionally been one of my favorite Thai places in Orlando. Recently the food has been decent, but not their normal level.
The hostess who took my order, nickname “Boom” was wonderful when he took my to go order face to face. Shout out to Boom! There are not prices on the website, so that was scary, but 73.00 total was steep. It seemed outrageous when I got home and the food was not great! I got the Phad thai, which was just noodles and meat, it was so bland and disappointing. The wonton soup was mediocre at best. The summer rolls were decent, the spring rolls had to have been a couple of days old. The Tom Yom goong spicy soup was good but mostly broth. With all the choices out there, I won’t go back.
Spectacular Redsnapper Dish! Excellent service! Relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommend!
Excellent service, food and overall experience. Fresh ingredients and nice additions, like a cup of chopped peanuts for the top of my dish. We will definitely be back!
Delicious, fast friendly service and well executed. Would definitely recommend.
I got take out here twice now and it exceeds all expectations every time. I will absolutely be coming back. Their coconut shrimp is my favorite.
Food was good but on the expensive side.
Great place to meet and eat (or drink). Outstanding service, large meal selections, great prices. Best Thai food in the area. What else needs to be said.
Im not so proud about the food i ordered it did not meet my expectations
Great Duck!
Food is okay but nothing special.
Good food and atmosphere.
Do NOT eat here if you have absolutely any sort of food intolerance/allergy. Was told numerous times when dining here that the Tom yum soup was safe for me to eat, as I have celiac disease and have to follow a gluten free diet as a result. Half a dozen times I’ve eaten here and been told that the curry with steamed tofu and Tom yum soup are gluten free, only to see on the online menu that the Tom yum soup has fish sauce (instant red flag). I immediately called to confirm that it is in fact GF and was told that because of a “seasoning” they use, it is not gluten free. This is absolutely GROSS negligence by Thai Place and is a slap in the face to anyone with autoimmune or other disorders that restrict safe food options. I wrote an email to management and heard absolutely nothing back. TO THOSE WITH ALLERGIES OR GLUTEN FREE PEOPLE: DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!
The Pad Thai was delicious!!!
You can tell a lot about an establishment by their bathroom. And Thai Place clearly has high standards. Upon entering, we were welcomed by a woman who was polite and professional. My family and I ordered two appetizers: garlic edamame and steamed vegetable pot stickers. Both were good but the edamame was probably the best I've ever had. The garlic was perfectly toasted and savory. Whatever sauce they marinated the edamame in was a 10 out of 10!
Our three dishes were the sweet/sour/spicy soup with shrimp and mushrooms, drunken noodles with vegetables, and drunken fried rice with beef. We enjoyed all three. Our spice level was mild. I got a spicy lava chicken to go for my partner. He is a very picky eater and he loved it. He said the chicken was juicy but still crunchy. This meal came with a house-made spicy/sweet chili sauce. The sauce was the star. I even put it on the left-overs of my noodles.
Everything was delicious! And the customer service was impeccable.
The food and service is amazing. Quantity is a bit low for the price but the flavors are great.
UPDATE: Because I had ordered takeout from here before, I thought the food was great, HOWEVER after dining in today, I have completely changed my mind. The yellow curry was very one-dimensional, with potatoes, carrots and onions. Although I could taste some lemongrass in the curry, it was not very deep in flavor at all, and the consistency was too runny. The Pad Thai, which should be the star of any Thai restaurant, tasted like it was only flavored with sriracha, that's it. No depth of flavor there either, not to mention there were almost no eggs present. Although the server assured me the spring rolls were made in-house, the steamed shrimp dumplings tasted like the frozen kind. Nothing special. Altogether, the experience was very blah. Not terrible, but certainly not great. The service was pleasant, I will say that, although the restaurant was completely empty so I would hope to expect that anywhere that has only one customer there. It's unfortunate.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I ordered takeout from this place, so I can't say how the dine-in experience is. When I do have the opportunity, I will definitely update. However! I have a few things to say, and some bones to pick with other local favorites:
1. They make their spring rolls from scratch. This is a big deal-breaker for me, because I have ditched my previous favorite Thai spot since they started buying frozen pre-packaged food. Spice Thai, yes, I'm talking about you. I can taste the authenticity in the spring rolls, and it gives me so much joy to know not EVERY place has downgraded.
2. They use different veggies depending on the dish. This is something Thai House does not do. Instead they use practically the same veggies for each dish, which seems like an easy way to batch prep. Any foodie knows vegetables make flavor profiles, so different dishes require different veggies for the dish to shine. This place gets that. And I can taste the difference.
3. I ordered the Yellow Curry and the Phad Woon Sen, which are my go-to's for any Thai place. I must say, I am not disappointed. In fact, as I write this, I'm tempted to order from here again. This place has been in business for quite some time, but I live so close to it now that I was finally able to test it out. I'm so glad I did!
As for the other 2 spots....ehem....sorry not sorry. I only tell it like I eat it. Still like Thai House though.
Poor Service, pathetic and apathetic management and even health concerns. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Great Peanut Curry. Very delicious, I’ll definitely be coming here more.
Food used to be very savory and delicious, now sauces are watery and lack flavor. Quality is definitely going down. I’ve ordered here weekly for over a year, if things don’t change we will be looking for Thai food elsewhere.
Five years later still Delicious. Amazing service, friendly staff 🤘
This restaurant has been consistently above and beyond!
They have amazing flavors for their sauces and cocktails.
It is our go to for great food and great drinks!
(Also good gluten free options)
Me and my friends have been coming here for 10+ years, the staff is always super sweet and the food is always delicious and fresh. You won’t go wrong with anything you order !
By far my favorite Thai place in town, very reasonably priced. Always fast, friendly and delicious.
Amazing food. Duck was cooked wonderfully, crispy yet soft inside. Better than thai house in orlando. Shrimp was great. Noodles were great too. My only complaints were that the shrimp was a bit under seasoned and the food wasn’t super warm. Staff was very polite, funny, and organized.
They have pretty good Thai food, but nothing too impressive. Pretty standard menu with all the classics like chicken satay, curries, stir fried, and noodles dishes. I liked the panang curry and chicken satay the most. Service was friendly, and prices are reasonable. I'd come back.
Ate with friends last week and order their lunch menus. The service was excellent. Smiley people. The menus are awesome . Will come back next week with different friends this time . The ambiance of the restaurant changed for the best. I used to come here a lot 10 years ago.
Love the food and the atmosphere here.
New resident to the area, 1st visit. I ordered the green curry with chicken and tom ka gai soup, both were excellent. I will definitely return. And I was surprised how busy they were for a Monday evening.
We eat Thai food quite alot when we're out and about. We started with garlic and pepper edamame and enjoyed it. It was flavorful. My mother ordered the yellow curry with chicken and I ordered the green curry with shrimp. Oh my goodness!!! All of the food is so fresh tasting! The yellow curry was definitely one of the best we've ever had. Also really enjoyed the pumpkin egg custard for dessert and the cream cheese wontons which were incredible as well!! As for the customer service...TOP NOTCH!! This was a great experience all around!! WE WILL BE BACK!!
This place has lost its true reputation of great customer service, I moved out the area after finishing college and moved to Tampa came back for some great food and drinks and was well disappointed. I don’t know who needs to see or hear this but I hope you guys fix this because I’m sitting at a table waiting to be served at least a glass of water for at least for to five minutes sitting at the table that the door guy pointed to a table and said you can sit there. Omg thank goodness I was. It on a date because that is so tacky and very non elegant even though the music in the background was set for a nice ambiance.
Just moved here and been searching for the best Thai cuisine in the area. I found this placed and was please to see they have all the dishes I like most. Today I got the fresh spring rolls and Basil Fried Rice. Both were amazing! Plated very neatly and didnt wait long at all. I will be back to try more items.
Pleasant service delicious food and withiut wait. COST UNDER $20 &PORTIO. SIZE COULD OF BEEN SHARED
I ordered the drunk noodles and sticky rice to go.
The noodles were a very good portion and with the price.
The sticky rice was on point, just wish it was a little more in volume for the price.
All in all the food was very good, presentable and well packaged.
I would absolutely go back for more.
Don't buy to go from here they will not put all your orders in the bag. I ordered appetizer, entree, dessert and Thai tea after just coming from the airport. Picked up my order and the lady told me everything was in there and the bag was tied so tight. We had a few errands to run and drove almost 3 hours to get home, opened my bag and notice that my dessert was missing so I called the store and the server told me that my husband must have taken it when in fact, he does not eat that type of dessert. I will never go back to this place. Complete rip off! How rude of her to say my husband must have taken it, I usually try to go there often but not anymore. If she forgot to put it in the bag, that would have been ok but her rudeness is totally unacceptable. The service has really gone down!
Stopped by to order takeout. Haley was friendly and quick to get my food out in less than 10 minutes. Not even long enough to finish a beer at the bar. I ordered medium shrimp pad Thai. The shrimp were big, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I will be back soon.
I was blown away by the combination of low prices, large portions, quality food and great flavors. The place is very clean and inviting. Huge selection of meals under $20. I’ve passed by this place for years and regret not trying to earlier. I don’t know the last time I had a good meal with my wife for under 50 bucks. Wow
They know me by my name
It is not kind of test in food like before. Not the same Menu. I will not go again Ramstein
The food is amazing, however what prompted me to write this review is that they opened following a catastrophic hurricane when everything else was closed. Thank you for your hospitality while we were struggling with storm anxiety, and cabin fever!
Great customer service
Ecxellente fresh and seafood, clean house, standard service.
all done on a whim. prices are fair.
I recommend.
Excellent food and service. Really enjoyed being there.
Hands down the best Thai food. Ordered take out for dinner. Had the mixed veggies, drunken noodles, crab steamed dumpling, fried banana with coconut ice crème. Would have taken pictures but I ate it all.
I really enjoyed eating here. Their food is delicious and the portions are huge! I will definitely try to go again soon.
