Lovely decor and smiling friendly servers. Menu covers wide range of Chinese, Japanese an Thai delicacy equal to those restaurants devoted only to single cuisine. Our table included six dinners including the sometime off taste of shrimp in lobster sauce, and each was a winner, including the shrimp dish. Though filled with the meals we also ordered their fried ice cream which was huge, tasty and most satisfying. Great place to dine with family at prices that leave you happy

My little one had the lomein and was just as bad , she ended up eating pizza....horrible. well after an hour my stomach is rambling and i had just a bite of it before discarding it..not a good sign . 😔😬 I had to give 1 star to write the review but honestly not worth even a star.

This place is great. An awesome collection of Asian fusion recipes and a killer happy hour sushi deal. Get an egg roll and their house mustard while you're there.

Everyone is in a rush to go home an hour before the restaurant is scheduled to close. Place has gone down hill over the years. I’d suggest someone tell the owner but the owner is there and she’s the one who ran us out…. absolutely sad.

Every chicken dish is always dryer than dry. My order of crispy chicken was dry and was like chewing fried shrimp shells.

Best Chinese food in the area as far as my wife and I are concerned. Some of the dishes here have the traditional Chinese menu name but seem to be flavored differently for the better. Also, dine-in happy hour sushi from 4 pm to 7 pm everyday is the best.

Overall value of the meal and quality 10/10. My family and I were on vacation in Orlando and stopped in for a bite to eat. Absolutely no complaints from anyone we all enjoyed our meals. Restaurant left food out of order, told me to get refund from Grub Hub. Grub Hub didn't pack the food, and the restaurant said it takes Grub Hub a week to pay them.

This is our favorite place for Asian cuisine takeout. There are others closer to our house, but we will go out of our way to go here. Entrees are on the larger side, which is great for leftovers the next day. Their service is super quick, too!

Great, honest food with great service. We were there this Thursday for their happy hour (discounts on specific items). We ate salmon and tuna sashimi, tuna rolls, and miso soup - all were well prepared, with fresh ingredients. Simple, but clean and organized place to dine in with the family or to take out.

I recently visited True Asian, formerly known as Tao Asia, and I must say it was an incredible dining experience. The standout dish for me was the orange chicken, which was by far the best I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked and coated in a tangy, sweet sauce that was just the right balance of flavors. It actually tastes like oranges. The portion size was also generous, and the price was very reasonable.

In addition to the amazing orange chicken, the Happy Hour sushi is excellent. The sushi is fresh and beautifully presented, and the variety of rolls available was impressive. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

No green onions/fresh peanuts,etc.looks dried on edges as it’s been microwaved The only flavor is the greasy fried wontons. I’ve had instant micro meals better than this! Never again! Ordered Thai basil chicken and Thai basil shrimp, very disappointing, actually could not finish the meal. Everything was done in a brown sauce that tasted burnt, when I called and asked about this they said this is how they’ve been doing it for 10 years. We actually had to rinse the sauce off The dish and completely remake it so we could at least salvage some of the meal.

Today’s order was orange chicken and bourbon chicken- very tasty. We order delivery directly from the restaurant, as we are within their delivery radius, and we received our food before the original estimated time, hot and fresh!

I paid $15.00 for a noodle dish with shrimp. I received 7!! Tiny little shrimp submerged in a soup style sauce with hardly any vegetables and a lump of noodles. Disgusting. Our other 3 dishes were equally bad. With the food items just seem to have been thrown together rather than cooked. Never again! Our 3rd and last attempt to eat there. It seems that by only having take out now, they don’t care what they are preparing. On top of it … it is expensive. Sorry …., avoid this place until they fix their food preparation

I spent about $40 on food from here. Worst mistake I could’ve made. The food was absolutely horrible. I took about two bites of the “Honey Chicken”, “Shrimp Lo Mein”, “Chicken Fried rice”, and the “Fries chicken wings”. I ended up throwing the whole order out after that. I feel sick to my stomach. Won’t make this mistake ever again.

How this place is opened? Rude staff always!

I ordered here to try a different place out but I will stick to my known other favorite places. The food was mediocre at best. The tempura bento box was not even tempura batter it was thick and grainy. The salad dressing had a weird flavor to it and the sushi was soggy by the time I got it home which is only about 10 mins.

Tao Asian is everything a little neighborhood Asian restaurant should be. The food is always delicious, the staff is attentive, friendly and make you feel at home. Throughout the pandemic they have made an effort to be safe and clean and protect all their customers, while many restaurants closed they built a Togo window and don’t allow indoor seating. This is no worry though because they are serving up the same delicious quality meals you’d have while seated in the restaurant. If you are looking for a great and comforting Asian style meal this is the place to go.

I am only giving four not five stars because the dumplings were very soggy & some of the beef in the beef fried rice was grisly. But other than that the food was very good! My food was hot when I got there, even after a twenty minute drive. The fried rice was one of the best I have had and the chicken and broccoli was good as well. The lady at the front was nice and didn't give attitude like some people have said. Nothing smelled gone bad or was bad and tasted good. I guess they got new owners because I had a good experience. I liked the food a lot and would eat there again. 4/5 stars.

I’m hoping another Asian restaurant opens in the area. But a much better one! Toa’s food is terrible and has only gotten worse over the last couple of years. The won ton soup is disgusting…made up of blobs of dough with a tad of filling…if there is any filling. The shrimp egg foo young had mostly burnt edges. The jasmine rice is dry and taste really old. I could have just stuffed my $17 in a hole and left it and enjoyed the experience better.

We try and check but it's difficult having to pull everything out on the parking lot. This time food was great but sushi was supposed to have NO sesame seeds add Masago...I got neither.

Quality and service has gone bad, and of course any decent human being would excuse this due to the pandemic and all (life is crazy for everyone, hard to be on A-game, we get it!) but after 4 events in a row where our food was no good, we decided to get some answers and apparently the management at Tao Asian doesn’t care about loyalty. 🤷‍♀️

Good Chinese food, and good sushi too. Very safe system for pick up. We moved into the area recently, and after trying several of the local Asian cuisine places, this one takes the top spot. My only suggestion to the owners is to get new fortune cookies, the ones we've gotten the past two times were no good.

I've lived here in Winter Garden for quite a while, and Tao Asian never fails to deliver good food. They are probably one of the better Asian fusion restaurants I've been to, and always have great service. When I order takeout, my orders always out fast, 20 minutes tops. Great place, great food.

Both delivery and dine in are great. The sushi happy hour is good too. The staff are polite and service is fast. We order delivery every couple of weeks and there has never been a mistake or delay. The food always arrives at a great temp, whether it’s sushi or Chinese. This would be my recommendation over the other delivery options in the area. Try the Chef specials!

Ordered the Honey Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Lo Mien, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, and Fried Dumplings to go. The only thing we liked out of all of this were the egg rolls. Dumplings were burned and the inside was very chewy and honestly pretty disgusting. We just can't seem to find a good asian restaurant anywhere in the Winter Garden/Windermere area. This is by far one of the best Chinese food restaurants we've ever been to. The texture on all of our food was incredible, and the way our dinner came out at separate times was perfect. The egg roll was soft, crisp, and the dipping sauce was wonderful. The Wonton soup was great. Lastly, the Sesame Chicken was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to visit the next time we're in the area!

Service was great, brought us our menu, drinks, and food in a timely manner and checked on us regularly. Food was decent, I got the bourbon chicken, it was covered in a lot of sauce which was a little too much for me but did not ruin the meal. The chicken and rice seemed a little better than takeout, but not much more. My friends got the Pad Thai and were very disappointed. It came surrounded in some sort of soup, which I have never seen before, and they said it tasted like caramel. A taste I would not associate with Pad Thai. They did not eat more than half and were unable to take it home. They were a little upset with their meal but didn’t complain because the owners are very nice people that want the best for their customers. The rest of the experience was remotely enjoyable. It’s a clean, quiet restaurant with peaceful music in the back and the staff seems nice and genuine. The price is affordable, around $10-$17 for a meal, I paid $15.44 for a dinner combo. An iffy first impression to say the least, but it would not stop me from going back trying them again. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick meal, but I don’t suggest ordering Pad Thai. Lol

Delivery is the way to go for us, always on time and the food is fresh. their drivers are always polite and happy too.

Good food but menu is a little limited

Server was extremely rude to my party including snide comments under her breath and giving us all looks like if she didnt actually want us there. On top of that, my party and I and automatically included a tip for 20% although we have been going there for a while now and always tip. Needless to say we will not be going back. I do not recommend this shady place.

Have been here many times and the food is always consistent and wonderful.

Not bad, overall good service.
