The fish was a bit too crispy and there wasn't a lot of meat on it, clearly not as good as I remembered it and not spicy whatsoever. Got the hot sauce tray which helped. Friend ordered 3 Amigo dish which was a nice size portion that he seemed to enjoy.

Absolutely the BEST Duck in town! My daughter ordered the Pad Thai with duck and it was amazingly delicious. Their Coconut Tom Kha Gai Soup has a wonderful balance of coconut flavors, along with the combinations of the fresh ingredients that they use to make the soup. Oh and don't get me started on their Thai Tea. Yum!!! Can't wait to go back on a dinner date with my husband. And to top things off, their customer service is really friendly. We love the red curry! Don't forget to get the egg fried rice, it's delicious! Haven't eaten anything there that we didn't love! They also have lunch boxes.

This place is normally fine. They sometimes forget some ingredients in their sushi rolls however. Today was the worst. I order a mexican roll, which calls for: Tempura shrimp, avocado, mayo topped smelt roe.

Behold my picture which is missing most of the ingredients. I have tempura shrimp. That is all. I did not see this until after I got home and taking it bad was not worth the hassle. Beware.

I'm not a huge fan of restaurants in plazas but this one tastes great! My favorite dish is the Pad Sei Ewe. (Spelling?) I do prefer to take out as the tables always smell like dish rags... Yucky. But the food is always perfect.

We always go to Thai Samurai when we want Thai food. My child enjoys the gyoza and sushi, while my husband and I order the curry. My husband recently ordered the pad thai and said "It was good! I would definitely order it again."

But do give it a try.... Hands down THE BEST sashimi around; amazing, mouthwatering cuts of classic sushi offerings arrayed in an exquisite presentation. Cute, local atmosphere it's the definition of a hole-in-the-wall! The Massaman Curry is rich and has deep earthy notes. The Pad Se Ew with traditional heat was flavorful and the intense spice was an incredible accent to the dark sweet soy. The specialty rolls speak for themselves in both sass and delight.

Sneak in on a slow week night or drop by for a weekend night out in a quaint niche locale; but be careful not to fall in love, I want to keep it just the way it is.

Sad but true there just isn't a lot of good Thai food around here. A lot of places cut corners with the Pad Thai and skimp on the tamarind. This Pad Thai here is amazing. And the sushi by the way has a very nice "meat to rice" ratio.

Pad ba mee was great

I ordered garlic broccoli with tofu and received two crowns of broccoli. I am also allergic to mushrooms and there were mushrooms in the food but since it was a takeout order and I drove 20 mins I cannot return. Waste of money since I cannot eat anything.

It’s sad to say how over rated other restaurants are. This is a great example of sushi and by that I means does’t deserve a 4.2. Friendly, caring, efficient and the cuisine is top notch. All of the food I ate was excellent. The sushi chef even addressed me personally and asked for my order before the server showed up with my beer. If you haven’t given it a chance please try this restaurant I feel is under valued (I’d tried it years ago and then was headed for a burger and gave it another try).

I ordered from here in the past and the food was decent. However, the last two times I have ordered from here the food was terrible. I ordered the Mexican sushi and the shrimp was raw. The pad woosen was horrible. Seriously how do you mess this up? I called there to tell them and her response was, oh sorry we have a new cook, do you want another one. No I don't want to drive back there to get another one when you couldn't make it edible the first time. I will never eat here again. ** HORRIBLE FOOD! NOT WORTH GETTING SICK!

Stopped in for lunch with my neighbor and we were both pleasantly surprised by the environment, service and food. We definitely will be back!

Unfortunately, although the food is very good, on three different occasions we saw roaches in this restaurant. The last time two were on the table. I know this can happen in Florida, but not THREE times. Three strikes and they’re out. Won’t be returning.

Update: Service went to Hell, i haven't done this in the past, but i didn't even leave a tip for server. I did tip sushi guy. Sushi were good.
Old: Best sushi place around. I have friends coming here from 40 min away, that's how good is it. Chef who's making sushi, really nice guy. The only thing lately he's the only one and wait time extended :(

I asked for a little taste of every curry. She brought little teeny bit of each. I LOVED every single one. Ended up with Massamam and red curry. To die for, I tell you, to die for. Thankfully, they were open on Sunday for lunch.

The food was very good. When I mentioned a problem with a drink they corrected it. We will return again. I enjoyed the fried snapper and my husband enjoyed his sushi rolls.

Used to be decent but quality had gone down. Ordered noodles and got something worse than the cheap ramen pack. Pad thai was dry and flavorless. Got the orders wrong. It's not a one time mistakes. We have had issues with the quality of food and service multiple times. Will not go back.

Let me say, we eat out alot. We love sushi and I have been to probably 15 sushi places locally. The inside is outdated, vibe is not very good. Took us 10 minutes to get seated, even though there was 10 open tables and it was pretty slow. Then it literally took us 15 minutes before someone came to give us a drink. Our waitress was nice, but hardly spoke English and did not understand anything we said or asked her . Food was decent, not bad, not great. I have had way better sushi and thai locally. I recommend going elsewhere. Service was a 1, food a 3

Great service, the food was good especially for the price. I got drunken noodles and thai tea. The noodles had a good amount of veggies but was a bit on the sweet side. I still ate every bit. The decor was very nice but the restaurant had an odd smell. The smell was not too bad but I was wondering what it was..

Admittedly, I don't like Thai food, but I enjoy going to Thai Samurai. The decor is great for date night. Service is incredibly attentive. Drinks are always kept full. All special requests are made without issue. They always have great suggestions for those on a special diet. The food is always hot and fresh.
The kids really enjoy their sushi and often choose to go for Sunday lunch or for birthday. The spider roll in a favorite. As a vegetarian, I always enjoy the included soup and veggie spring roll. The Amazing Tofu is a good choice since it has a light ginger based sauce. I also like their pad sew ew, but find it can be too sweet. Hubby enjoys panang curry and chose to have it with duck on our last visit. We've also been happy with take out orders in the past.
Overall, I would recommend Thai Samurai if you're looking for a sit down Asian restaurant in the Trinity area. We're also lucky to have a wonderful place like Zen Forrest in the area, but Thai Samurai has a far larger range of items that will please anyone in your party--down to homemade fried chicken nuggets for the kids

I love to eat out and try different Restaurants and this is my first time in Thai Samurai and let me tell you some this place is phenomenal the food the service and every in general I love it. I recommend this Restaurants to everyone 👌

It kills me writing this review, because this used to be one of my favorite places, but it's gone downhill over the years and it shows. Went here tonight and the sushi was SUPER fishy tasting, I got a Mexican roll and a spider roll so that isn't right at all. Made me sick to my stomach and have been sick all night due to it. So disappointing 😔

Used to eat here often, so my husband and I were excited about coming back for the first time in a long time. We chose a time where it wasn’t too busy walking in. We had two servers who took our drink and food orders and that’s about as far as service got. We walked in at 7:22 and took most of our food to go at 8:26 because the sushi was apparently backed up. My husband got his hot food 35 minutes before the sushi was ready. I don’t mind waiting at restaurants because I understand everyone has a lot to do at dinner time, but during the entirety of our visit they never checked on us or indicated that it was taking a while, never refilled drinks or asked if we wanted to order more sake, and showed no remorse or apology towards the fact that we were waiting literally one hour for our food. This wait staff is awful, and I’m sad to say that I won’t come back. Nick is a great sushi chef, and I’d eat his food a million times over, just not here.

Tried the Chicken Pad Thai lunch box, lucky 7 roll and tuna nigiri. It was all tasty and I will return. I was shocked how much food came with the lunchbox! Now I have leftovers for another meal 😁. I live close by which makes it super convenient for me, and now I am excited to try other dishes. I got mine to go so I can’t comment on service.

I just moved to the area and been looking for new places to eat and they are sooo yum real veggies and red curry sauce bomb.

I'm becoming a fan of this restaurant, Thai food is an experience you must try without a doubt, the food is delicious! Is you are a 🍲 soup person try the Japanese style, it's the best, I like Tom Yam spice soup but the Japanese style has a noodles 🍜 I've never seen (almost transparent and it is like a thin straw) so yummy! I lost the picture but I'm sure I'll post it again. The place is clean so is their bathroom. Service is good and anything you order is excellent. I used to go to another Thai restaurant in Safety Harbor for years!! I drove there uncountable times but lately the food is not that good, thank God I found this one!!

I don’t remember what I ate because it’s been so long but I remembered it being very very tasty! The staff were pleasant, the sake flights were fun to try and we had a good time!

One very rude server ruined the entire establishment for us. Also I’ll add their food is always ice cold, fresh rolls and peanut sauce used to be warm there, now they could care less and serve it all ice cold. Also they love degrading their customers. Never going to Thai Samurai again. Ever. I recommend NOT wasting your time and money unless you want to be bitter and angry for a few days due to their LACK OF RESPECT FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS!

So I’m going to this place with my family since we have been there before. Worst experience ever…. This is our 3rd time coming here and this time is was not the best. It took a while for our food to come. And the thing was they ordered sushi and all I ordered was Rice and Edamame. And it came last!!!! It’s so simple for some rice and edamame to be made!! Probably last time

I ordered teriyaki beef priced $16.99 I thought was overpriced. If you eat the beef without the sauce it is so blunt it is almost like eating cardboard, no flavor at all. I was served with ice cold rice where you expect steaming hot with teriyaki.I will not come back here again. Server never smile.

First offet me clarify I’ve never had a bad meal here. But tonight I did not get to even eat as the staff ignored us completely once seated and I know it sounds crazy but this was the third restaurant of the night I had tried to eat and for whatever reasons left before ordering and after the first two I was totally done waiting for a server to do their job. I got up and left hungry.

Ordered egg noodles without onion. Noodles were overcooked and looked watery and just terrible. They put onions in and told me that I did not confirm thst I asked for no onions. Sushi also taste terrible and the soy sauce was not even enough to dip. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I frequented Thai Samuri with my friends but wow it has changed. The servers are rude. The restaurant has smelled like there is a sewage problem for several months now. The quality of food has declined while the price increases. The multiple rude servers and smell throughout the restaurant is last straw for me. I'm done!
