we are family owned thai restaurant we took over in 2019 july first we are family oriented we want to make you feel at home when come in dine or take out
This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The food is simply amazing. There are options on how spicy the dish you order can be. The presentation is eye pleasing, and the taste is divine. For a dining experience you will remember for a long time, I would recommend visiting Bangkok Jazz Thai for either lunch or dinner.
This food is fresh! No matter the meal, they prepare it that day and you eat fresh, delicious, ample servings. I’ve been here several times, the latest with a party of five. We ordered across the menu, veggie soup to meat curry, and no disappointments. Even during quarantining and restricted outings, this place was hopping with take out ordering. Give it a go!
Delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff. Will be back for sure. The soup that came with my meal, was one of the best I've ever tasted.
Best Beef Yum Salad I've had in Fl since I moved here in 2016 from VA.
House salad was A1!
Waitress was attentive, food was delicious, thai hot was not thai hot - unfortunately 😆
I wish they had live music (or even better speaker audio quality at least), however the food was delicious I would recommend!
Best Thai in Tampa. Love this place!
Best thai place in town. Lunch specials are unbeatable. Food is awesome

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while and finally did! This is the best thai food I have had in a long time. I got the chicken pad thai, pad see ew, and gyoza. 12/10. Definitely recommend.
Super yummy and really nice servers
Nice Place for chill.Really good taste and Price.I really like it,I recommended.
Nice place and good to chill
Basil fried rice was good. Medium spicy was not spicy at all, so try going a bit higher, if you love spicy food. Ambience was good.
No jazz. Just perfectly executed food. Oddly enough, another patron was also from my home town. We both loved it, and he was on his second visit today! Must stop by and try the curry. It's not too hot, so be wild.
The jazz is no longer here but the food is still good
The best Thai anywhere! Really great staff and owners!
Great Thai food and wonderful service.
So delicious and generous portions. I’d give it 10/5 stars if I could. Green curry hit the spot and I have leftovers.
So yummy, big portions, authentic
Best panang curry in Tampa. Staff is super friendly. Love going in there when I can.
Love love this place. Super friendly staff, very accommodating and never a bad meal. 10 stars if I could! Thank you Bangkok Jazz🫶🏾🥦
This place is the best Thai food in Tampa for the lunch price
My go to place for Thai, I’m Asian so I’m picky I definitely think this is the best Thai food in tampa I tried many even the expensive ones. The prices and quality is very good and the service is friendly also.
I love going to this place, food is great service is great and prices are fair
Love it. Best Thai restaurant in the Temple Terrace area.
Pineapple fried rice with chicken
We are very particular about our Thai food. This place does it right. I've had 4 different dishes so far and all of them were exceptional
I just placed an order to picked up but when I got there my order was not there so I went to the Indian Restaurant next to them and ordered to take out. I love their food. Was great but not yours, very desapointed.
Very friendly service
Consistently perfectly prepared meals, dine in or to go! Soup was amazing, 3 people, $40ish, left overs, appetizers and beverages.
Meh. I’ve had better experiences. All 3 of the curries we purchased were mediocre. I got extra tofu and it didn’t seem to come with much extra — so that sucks. The biggest letdown was the two appetizers we purchased. We got the wantons and the gyoza, both of them were so over cooked that we couldn’t eat them. Such a waste of money and food.
Excellent food, can only call it value during lunch. A bit pricey in the evening.
Best Thai food in Temple terrace
Wow! This food is so good!!! Ordered two apps, a soup, and two meals and loved everything. Our server was attentive and kind. The restaurant is darling. Large menu with so many options that it’s hard to decide!
They messed up 2 orders from our party. The food was ok. The service was terrible. We were the only table in the whole restaurant, I don't know how they stay open
Amazing food, and a great atmosphere.
Great dish, great service
We have ordered and picked up Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice and Pad Thai several times and have enjoyed them at home every time. They hold the hot spices for us, so the dishes remain flavorful without burning our throats. At lunchtime the dishes come with a small spring roll. Take away price is excellent, $10 for Chicken Fried Rice, $12 for Shrimp Fried Rice. We have not eaten inside the restaurant, which looks like a comfortable, nicely decorated dining room.
A delightful experience. The restaurant is cute, with tranquil jazz music and accents while still keeping the core of being culturally Thai. The service was very good, everyone here was super sweet and pleasant. Food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted clean and authentic.
Loved it :)
Seriously the best Thai food ever 😭
Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Had the seafood pumpkin curry. Subbed the rice out for sticky rice. Enjoyed the meal overall.
Good service as well.
The food is so good and it’s so nice to eat in a pleasantly lit restaurant with jazz softly playing in the background
Highly recommend!
Love it the basil noodles are the best
The food was fresh and delicious! I can’t believe I have been passing this place for years without trying it. I will definitely be back!!
Good customer service, food was hot; veggies had no seasoning, they just tasted steamed, fried rice and fried shrimp was good
Not a fan of leaving lousy reviews, but the food was really flavorless. Green curry was watery, stir fry looked and tasted like it was boiled in chicken stock. Not sure if this place had a change in ownership, but that was a tough meal. Two stars for it being ready quick and staff polite.
The food was very tasty the place is nothing fancy but nice.
Don't judge this place by the exterior! Simply amazing taste, I had the Yellow Curry.. HOT and it was delicious and legit spicy. Very reasonable prices and generous portions.
Great service, food was fresh and delicious.
Absolutely delicious.
Food and service was excellent. Loved it.
Always great always delicious. Service is great and I love the family atmosphere.
Great food.
The food was excellent. My wife loved the orange chicken. I had the yellow curry. The servers were great. I would definitely eat there again.
Great hidden treasure! Enjoyed the meal and the heat was right on! I didn’t have it in me to try Thai Hot but the hot was perfect
Love going here and always look for an excuse to meet clients here. Brought my wife and teen child and they loved it! See you soon!
Great food..loved the jazz look. They do charge you for modifications.
Ordered thai tea, chicken satay, lad na, and massaman curry.
Thai tea - 5/5
Chicken satay -4/5
Curry - 2/5 watered down and the potatoes tasted a little sour I dont know why.
Lad na - 2/5 maybe because we never tried it before and did not know what to expect.
Excellent customer service though!
Charlie gave us great service and recommendations for food, the food tasted great and was a lot af food .
I can't wait to go back! Deeeelicious!!!
2 stars for the service and iced thai teas.
bottom line, Won't go back.
The good : the service and the thai tea.
The bad. Across the board, the cook. the way it was cooked was horrible. Vegetables in all the dishes were really hard and pretty much raw. The meat was way overcooked and chewy. The seafood (still hoping I don't get sick from it) was so rubbery my dogs could use it for a Kong.
the curries had the texture of water.
And last, the deep fried apps were dark brown and went from crispy to rock hard.
In the end, not worth the Money.
Nice atmosphere, food taste great. The puffs will definitely throw you for a loop but are amazingly delicious. The rest of their food is fresh and tasty. The lunch portion is huge.
Hair and debris in food. Horrible customer service. Won't replace food. They said eat it or leave it. Should be inspected for quality control. Save your money - don't go to this restaurant.
Excellent food and very attentive service.. we will most certainly be back!
Great food, fair prices and a polite staff. Everything I could ask for in a Thai restaurant.
Ordered the panang curry with chicken / medium spice. It was so watered down it didn’t taste like anything. Very disappointed. The zucchini in the dish was also sour/bitter. Will order from sawatdee next time.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Tampa. Excellent food and service.
Awesome!
Is a good restaurant BUT Two times the Fish was Not Good...The Fish was Raw...twice we Went..
Tasteless entrees
Worst Thai Food i have ever eaten. I ordered tom yum soup from here and the soup was so smelly that i literally ended up throwing it. The quality of the shrimp they used in the soup was stale and smelly. I would wonder not to give even 1 star to this restaurant. I will not recommend this restaurant at all to anyone.
Stops talking people an hour before they close even after telling us they could take us on the phone. Disappointing
Late on this review but the food was really good, large portion sizes, and the service was very good as well! Cute place
Amazing! First time finding a Thai restaurant here in Florida. Delicious thank you
Great service, bad food. We order 5 dishes and only the pad Thai is good. The other food are too sour or too salty, the chicken larb is sour and salty and it's not even mild spicy, the rice in the fried rice still taste grainy, the papaya salad tastes just like the larb- sour and salty only. I didn't even touch the papaya salad after the taste test fail. The papaya salad and chicken larb got a weird taste to it and the peanuts in the papaya salad taste overdue.
Red chicken curry 4/10 very light
Chicken fried rice: 9/10 - Delicious.
Maybe the red thai curry i’ve eaten in the past from other places was Americanized. Im not sure if that’s a thing but that’s the only way i can justify how watered down this curry was. It lacked texture and flavor and felt like a diet version of this dishes i’ve had in the past from a couple other places. It also had a slight weird scent and flavor along with the normal curry smell and flavor.
This place was really close to my house so i was excited but i just won’t order the curry again. The fried rice is fire though. The steamed vegetables were also good
But yeah maybe this is how traditional curry is supposed to be and i have no idea? If someone reads this and thinks so please let me know lol
Great food!
Reasonable lunch prices
Food could be better
I placed the order via Uber eats for crab fried rice with shrimp add-on. When I received my order there was no crab meat in the rice and there were three shrimp included. I raised a concern through Uber eats about my order and was giving a message that someone from the restaurant would contact me about my order via email. I waited over 24 hours and no one reached out to me via email or otherwise. I contacted the store so that we can resolve the issue in some manner. There was a server who answered the phone and I expressed what this situation was. I didn’t ask for a manager. I was told that the manager was busy and could not talk to me. He was very rude and told me he didn’t know how he could help me but I need to contact Uber eats support and hung up in my face. Poor customer service all the way around.
This is a nice little place, they have many gluten free options. Its unfortunately not listed on their menu but if you just ask they can tell you what isn't gluten free pretty easily. I highly recommend their mango sticky rice
Very nice people, great food, reasonable prices. I had a great time and would come back definitely!
So yummy
The chicken Pad Thai is my favorite. The wonton soup is good if you are in the mode for soup.
My favorite thai rest in Tampa.
Great spot and tgecfood was amazing the service is too!
Fantastic restaurant! Always great food always good service and nice staff. Very pleasant people to deal with and fast too!
Fast preparation. Great service. Good food. Food needs to be more spicy.
Very delicious! I recommend the fried tofu.
The food is delicious! The service was the best I’ve had in a very long time. I will haunt this restaurant whenever I can.
I ordered Pad Thai as a take out order and when I opened the container the smell was awful. I brought the pad Thai a few months back from here & it was delicious, but this smelt rotten. I was already miles away so I couldn't return it but yeah I'm no longer a fan of this place.
I saw the high reviews on Google Maps and decided to give this Thai restaurant a try. This place was a HUGE disappointment. DO NOT TRUST THE SO CALLED GUIDES POSITIVE REVIEWS. The biggest problem I had was that all of the food lacked flavor. The pad Thai just tasted like noodles in some soy sauce. It needed more, maybe some lime juice at least would give it some needed zest, instead of the bland sweetness it had. The gyoza and Spicy red Tom Ka soup were also very bland, it reminded me of cheap Chinese food. I got the stir fried pork w/ cashew nuts (pictured). As you can probably tell, it was served in what appears to be an Olympic sized swimming pool of juice. I’ve never seen a stir fry served like that, like it’s a stew. They should call it stir-boiled pork with how much liquid it had. I couldn’t eat it. The only reason it’s not getting a 1 out of 5 is because the the Thai ice tea and shrimp tempura were at least edible, although I still think I am being overly generous. Would not recommend at all. Go to Pollo Tropical instead.
2nd time I have been to this restaurant. Last time I drove to Tampa, about 2 months ago, we did some shopping and then we were figuring out where to go for lunch. We happened to be on Fowler Ave and spotted this restaurant before we reached the stop light. We made a U-turn and decided to try this Thai restaurant. We love Thai food but the last few years, we have tried some Thai restaurants but the food was never up to par. We decided we had nothing to lose. We had the lunch special - spring rolls, chicken rice soup, shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice & a crispy duck dish. The food was perfectly cooked and excellent. We finally found a Thai restaurant we love. Yesterday my family had the urge for Thai food for dinner and we drove to Tampa to this restaurant once again. Needless to say, we had the same dishes minus the duck this time but we found my son's favorite...fried bananas. Once again, this restaurant met our expectations. We have found our favorite Thai spot. Of course the service was exceptional also. It is great supporting a family-owned business.
Great food and price.
My go to Thai place! The ambiance is my favorite. My husband and I frequent here often for Thai food. Every thing we’ve had is amazing but the panang curry is my go to!
I’m very impressed with the flavor of the fried rice and the freshness of the vegetables. Just the right amount tenderness while having the perfect amount of crispness. Well done
I ordered take-out online tonight: Tom kha kai (coconut soup), small vegetable spring rolls, and chicken lad na. Everything was delicious. This is some of the best Thai I've had in Tampa. The restaurant was pretty empty when I went in around 7:30p.m., which seems strange for how good the food was. I recommend checking the place out.
I ordered pad Thai with extra tofu, pork, and veggie.
The taste is good in general, however, I think they use very poor quality food ingredients. Their vegetable are difficult to chew which I believe it has been there for a while, the pork has a strange taste in it kind of gross and nasty which I don’t know how to describe, the tofu taste good I like it. My boyfriend likes this place and he orders food from here all the time, today I finally want to give it a try, pretty disappointing, but considering it only costs $13 then okay fine, next time I will only add tofu I guess.
******next day update, bf told me it costs $17, nah, no go again.
Food was excellent as was the service.
Very good, nice and clean and great service
Worst Thai food !!
I had tom kha soup and one vegetarian dish (garlic pepper entree ) and vegetables were smelling fishy. When I raised the issue instead of apologizing he asked" then why did we eat the food ? We had only 2/3 of food because we were hesitant in pointing fingers first so took 2-3 bites.. we asked for owner.. and she was rude as hell and was shouting that she doesn't want to talk to anybody..
The crispy duck is excellent. All of the food is really good.
Very bad experience, they don't know how to deal with customers.
The guy in front spoke very rudely to us.
There was this young man who isn't friendly and you would think after three weeks in a row he would have at least one good day
I loved the service and the Pad Thai was served hot and within minutes.
I hate to write such a negative review however they don’t deserve anything more than one star, if that at all. The way they treat loyal customers is terrible and embarrassing therefore myself or my coworkers will never go back. I used to order at least once a week for lunch. This particular order we ordered for 7/9 people.. 5 of those orders were wrong including one that was ordered for someone who is vegetarian. Rather than owning up to their mistakes, they never apologized or tried to reasonably offer solutions after we paid.
They told us they’d refund us for 2 meals, however if we wanted the refund, we must pick up the cash (even though we paid directly to them by credit card). I work in a hospital setting, therefore don’t have the flexibility to leave and come back. I tried to get the refund the next business day after, however was told the offer for the refund expired and if I wanted a refund to call the owner myself, which none of this was told to us up front.
Needless to say has TERRIBLE customer service and no way to treat a loyal customer. Please don’t support this business!!
Ok food
First time here...my sister and I. The food here was sooooo doggone good! OMG! Excellent! That's all I'm gonna say. Go there to see for yourself. Service was great too. Nice, smooth jazz.
The food was so fresh and delicious!!
One of the best Thai restaurants in Tampa!!
Just okay. Wouldn't eat there again.
salad insttead.it was
This is the place for what you think of when you think about Thai food! The popular dishes (Pad Thai / See Yew) are on point! The apps are amazing! You won’t be disappointed!
Too sweet. Weird flat flavor.
Went here for lunch and had the Pad Thai with Shrimp. It was excellent with a good amount of shrimp. Very tasty. Was asked how spicy from 1-4 and picked a 2. It was a little spicy but not overpowering. Also received Wonton Soup as a starter along with an egg roll. Looking forward to going back to try their other items.
Best Thai food place around Temple Terrace area. Sea food with fried rice is just too good ❤.
Enjoyed the best yellow curry (medium hot) I've had in a long time. Yum!
My daughter eats here often and wanted me to try Bangkok while I was in town. True Thai food not one of the places that had Chinese and Japanese food also. Food is great. All four of us loved the food and soup. The only disappointment I had was the iced tea is now brewed, it comes from the coke dispenser.
Great food for a good price
Do not order from here. I repeat: do not order from this establishment. The Thai food they serve is not authentic. Horrible recipes for the food they are making. They need a real Thai chef to help them get the supplies they need and revamp the way they prepare what they are serving to customers.
Frequent flyer here. The food these past two visits were lacking. Meat seemed steamed, not stir fried. Asked for extra eggplant only....twice they gave extra other veggies.
I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. My wife has Celiac Disease and the server WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to understand what it was and make sure my wife's food was not contaminated. He was looking ingredients up on his phone to make sure everything was gluten free. Happy to say everything was and my wife meal was, in her words, one of the best meals she has had in a restaurant in a very long time! She had a stir fry with rice noodles and I had pad thai which was excellent. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. They were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Thank you Bangkok Jazz!!!
Some of the best Thai food in the area. The spring rolls are so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!
Ordered from Uber Eats. I like it spicy, so my special instructions read, "Extra spicy. Make me hurt." Food arrived hot and spicier than most joints, so I'll give them that. Did I still have to add fish sauce pickled peppers? Yes. The flavor was still better than most places I have ordered from. If you're lacking sauce packets in your hotel room, this place packs a punch.
Everything here is good!! Lunch is an especially good deal with the rolls and soup included with the entree. The staff is nice and attentive. Me and my friends go here all the time!
There are new owners for about a year. The food was very flavorful. The portions were very large, and the service was excellent. We will definitely go back.
The food was good and the service was attentive.
The food and service is always great! Try the curry dishes!
First time trying Jazz Thai and it did not disappoint! The spring rolls were crispy and tasty. The Pad Thai and Ginger Lovers dishes we ordered were spicy and delicious! We will be back again!
Great food! Good service
Love their summer rolls. Order for lunch. It's cheaper and same amount of food. The restaurant itself is nice inside for dine in. Staff is friendly. No communication issues.
Fantastic food! Always satisfied and never had a bad experience when eating here.
