Such a beautiful restaurant! Our server was so kind and we got our food super quick. Flavor is just impeccable! Best meal i’ve had in a while! Such a fun environment, very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Super clean and modern, very upscale.

Please visit when you are tired of your leftover turkey and ham. We must keep this restaurant going. So thankful they opened across the street from Whole Foods on Northdale Blvd. Best words to describe them are multiple options, amazing and friendly service, lovely atmosphere and CLEAN. Sharing is a great idea - otherwise you will be taking some home which isn't a bad idea either. We don't order sushi there as it is a bit expensive compared to other sushi restaurants; but the duck and shrimp tacos and rice noodle dishes are amazing. The duck dumplings are tender and delicious. They also have great appetizers. They do have a lovely bar area; but we are not drinkers. Please give them a chance. I know you will be glad you did. They will take very good care of you.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly. My water cup placed on the table was filthy and the little container of flowers was rotting and in dirty water. Our food came quickly and was piping hot, which is much appreciated. Tom yum soup was the best I’d had in the area. The curry ramen was good, and the drunken noodles were excellent. The duck tacos were dry and under seasoned. My husband bit into one, and a large duck bone cut part of his gum. We did send it back. Our server ate servings of cake in view of the open kitchen while our water glasses sat empty for over 10 minutes.
It has such potential, but needs to be refined so that the food and service is consistent.

Delightful dinner for me and Mom. We shared pork spring rolls and a Mongosteen salad. Mom had sushi and I had the Mangosteen Noodle with beef. Everything was super fresh and loaded with flavor. Super Service from the extremely friendly Mumee. She will make you smile. It's a tish pricier than some places, but it's totally worth it.

Mangosteen, is the new go-to spot in Northdale! (previously occupying this space was the restaurant Asiatic) Mangosteen already has a spot in St. Pete, which we haven't checked out yet, so congrats to them on opening their second location! We live just around the corner here in NorthDale, and new restaurants don't pop up often out here, so this was a great find for us!

We absolutely loved it. The service was top-notch. Our favorite dish was the Pad Lao, essentially the Laotian version of Pad Thai but more flavorful. The Yakitori came in a close second; we couldn't resist ordering the pork belly and steak skewers twice! We'll definitely be back soon for more

The soup and cucumber salad were tasty. The ginger chicken had a lot of onions and green beans, but not enough chicken - especially given the price. It was not gingery enough. Service was pleasant but very slow. I wanted an extra side of rice, but our wait staff did not return until well after we were done and we were waiting for the check. Then I brought the check up to the bar to pay as our wait staff was doing tasks behind the bar and taking too long to get back to us. They need noise abatement. With all the hard surfaces it is echo-y and loud. There are many other places with similar offerings that have a cozier/more comfortable feel and better service - including another a few doors down. We’re not likely to return.

I’ve been going to Mangosteen St. Pete for over two years. The wife and I stumbled upon just walking down the block. When we saw this second location opening closer to us we were soooo happy! The steak sandwich with the fries is my favorite dish! The flavor and perfect temperature of the fries makes me a frequent visitor. Their drinks are great also and any dish you order you’ll love!

Can't believe this was our first time at this gem in Northdale! Will definitely be our go to for Sushi and great food and service!

Me, my family and friends love Mangosteen. Best Thai food (especially curry) in the Carrollwood Area. The staff is always so sweet and remembers their customers. DeeDee is the sweetest. So hospitable with a great smile. We are grateful to have this local treasure. Drunken Noodles, Mangosteen Noodles, Red Curry, Green Curry, Yellow Curry, Lo Mein, Yakitori, Miso Soup are all delicious.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We ordered the drunken noodles and the mangosteen sushi roll—both were delicious.

The service was excellent, and the drinks were even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing Thai/Asian cuisine!

Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night when we walked in. It was a larger group for my birthday but there was no place to make a reservation beforehand on the website so I didn’t. The service was absolutely terrible. We waited for everything for so long. Tables around us with fewer people got their orders taken and food well before we did. The food was pretty good but inattentive service ruined the experience for everyone in my group. I would give it another try because it’s a neighborhood restaurant that I’d like to succeed but I don’t think I’d go back there again with a group larger than 2.

Delicious fresh food. The steak sandwich was delicious on a fresh roll. And the Red Curry was so yummy!

10/10 Highly recommended! Wish I took photos but I was too hungry to think to do so. (Next time)

I had the chicken spring rolls, Crunchy salmon roll and Bohemian Chicken Bowl. My wife got the pork steam dumplings and chicken pad see ew.

This has to be one of if not the best Asian food I have had in a while locally, everything was cooked perfectly and paired exceptionally with great flavor. They have tons of variety and shocking just how good everything came out! I am going to try many other dishes next time :)

Ordered on uber and they took my money but were closed, just closed the store for about a week then did not refund the purchase. Just told me to dispute with credit card company!??

Came to this place when they first opened and couldn’t stop going back! Favorite place to have a company lunch or date night. The food is amazing and always so filling. The sushi and curry are delicious! Everyone who works there is wonderful, attentive, and kind. I hope this place is here to stay for a long time.

I’m so happy they opened up a Mangosteen in Northdale. The one in St. Pete is a little out of our way. The restaurant is so clean and nice. Very elevated dining atmosphere. Food is flavourful. Service is amazing!

Beautiful new restaurant with sushi and lots of other Laos and Thai entrees. Had a wonderful cobia special and miso salmon. Friends had a great salad and sushi. Everyone really liked their meals. Wine was pricey so may try their BOGO Happy hour 3 to 6.

Awesome food atmosphere and service. I loved it. These people were committed to making sure I had a good time. And they tailored my food to my spicy vegan palette. The place is new. So there were not a lot of people there. I will definitely take my wife there for a good time and delicious meal.

This place is a hidden gem, okay its' not really hidden at all, but recently opened in the last couple months. Went here for a date night and the duck dumplings and bbq pork tacos did not disappoint. Great service, fun atmosphere, and there were a number of items on the menu we have yet to try. I'll definitely be back.

The best drunken noodles I ever had. The taste was great, not soaked on soy sauce or overly salted. Also, I couldn't ask for better service. They treated me like they knew me.

Just left this place & while eating a cockroach crawled out behind my son’s head & they did absolutely nothing to rectify or accommodate . Very disappointing not coming back .

Everything we ordered was delicious! The pan seared duck dumplings were incredible. Also ordered the steak and pork belly yakatori, mangosteen salad, pad lao, and mangosteen roll and they were all insane. Our waitress Mumee was amazing!! Will definitely be back soon

Brand new place so I was pleasantly surprised that our service and food were both excellent. Mumee(sp?) was our excellent waitress high energy and quite attentive. We ordered the Spicy Pork Dumpling and I got the Pad Lao, my wife got Pad See Ew. Both were excellent and flavorful, we liked that the spice was controlled by putting it on yourself…

They had some great Happy Hour and Lunch Specials so definitely will be returning for this place.

Stopped by to check out this new place and grab a bite to eat. Food and service was top notch. I tried the pan seared duck dumplings, and sushi. The sushi was extremely fresh! The menu has a nice variety and not your typical. I will definitely return to try more of what they have on the menu.

Five stars from start to finish! Fabulous drink menu with a variety of mocktails and specialty cocktails. The food menu has something for everyone! We will definitely be back for more 🤤

I stopped by just to see the menu and was greeted by a staff member who took the time to explain the lunch specials and the regular menu. I decided to give it a try and I will without a doubt be back. I got the Chicken Pad Thai and it was amazing. I also tried the chicken spring rolls and they were delicious. I can't wait to try other items from the menu. Friendly staff and fast service. This is exactly how a restaurant should run. I hope the community supports this business.
