I went to Midtown Noodles Bar on a Sunday afternoon and I was fairly impressed ! I ordered the Katsu Curry with fried chicken and fried rice. The curry sauce had bold flavors and was very unique. Very tasty! We were greeted with friendly service all the way until the end!
I came here several times and most of the times I got good foods but I don't know if the owner of the place changed or the cook changed. The service was nice they were all nice but what is the use if the food quality is bad. I had Jjajiang noodle way less sauce compared to the last times I had it was almost white when it was supposed to be black bean paste noodle. And the jjamppong soup was okay but the noodle had no taste at all they were blend. I eat very blend but the noodle was blend even for me. Trust me I don't put salt on my eggs. It is just sad that the quality of food cannot be maintained. I hope it was one of the oopsy daisy days. Or maybe I'm asking for too much. I hope other customers are lucky enough to get good foods and I really sincerely wish this place could get back to when they actually made real food. I am not trying to hurt anyone's feeling. I am just sad. I'm attaching comparison of the Jjajiang noodle.
Had a good time here. Place was clean and had good service. The ramen had depth and a smoothness to it and my party ate it all up. Very bright and contemporary ramen place located in Tallahassee. There was gang tags in the bathroom for a pho place. Which was weird but overall enjoyed my experience.
The Pad Tai was not good.
I'll just wanted to start with that. The atmosphere is relaxing very modern. The udon noodle were good, I'm ordering it again if I go back. The miso ramen was also good with pork belly. The spring rolls were not worth it either. I also heard the pho was good.
First, pleasantly surprised because the food out performs the atmosphere. The food came out so fast and hot... big plus if you are short on time. The chicken pho had huge chunks of chicken. The flavor of the pho broth was fresh and complex, definitely the focus of the dish. The fried dumplings were tasty and crispy, and fresh. The chicken pad Thai comes out with a pleasant balance of peanuts and mild spice. I added some Thai chili sauce to up the intensity and it was in that Goldliocks zone. Of course we also ordered the chicken fried rice.... lots of vegetables (might have been frozen), big chunks of chicken, good flavor. All portions were large and easily shareable. Definitely a great option for take out.
Good pad Thai!
The pho is delicious!!! They have great appetizers too. The service is always friendly and fast!
They never acknowledge the delivery people who are there to pick up food, they just keep on taking orders from customers in line, and letting us stand there, while the food is sitting there getting cold, it's ridiculous. Look over to your right and ask if we're there to pick up an order? You keep taking new orders and letting us wait a long time while the food is right there getting cold. They have a sign that says pick up food here!
and they don't even say hello and ask me. They see I'm at the sign of doordash to pick up food. they don't acknowledge drivers, they don't give you the food ,they just ignore you basically. The pick up system order is terrible there. Even if you're taking an order, you tell them one moment please, and you asked if I'm there to get an order? and if it's ready, hand it to me, and you make them wait because other people's food is getting cold who have already paid to have the delivery.
People ordering food at the register can wait 2 seconds for you to hand me the bag of food that needs to get delivered. You are causing us to be late and the food to get cold. Fix this issue or don't have us go and pick up food to be delivered. They are always polite but the system is flawed.
The pho is always delicious.

Katsu curry dish is my go to! Everything is good here!
I came here several times and most of the times I got good foods but I don't know if the owner of the place changed or the cook changed. Just okay. They put corn in the ramen ππ
I've seen reviews where people say this is the best ramen, and that's just kind of sad. The noodles in my ramen were congealed, and there definitely weren't as many toppings as shown in other people's photos. I also got a jasmine milk tea (good) with regular boba (really bad). Once I got my first piece of boba, I tossed the entire drink because it tasted like straight-up gum. Like gum after it lost all its flavor and you've been chewing on it for a while.
My partner really liked their food and drink which was a chicken pad thai and a strawberry fruit tea with no toppings.
The place is pretty though.
I got pho, and the rice noodles was all congealed. It was a pick up order, so I didn't realize till I got home.
I called and asked for a refund, and they said I had to bring the food back, which was annoying, but I paid quite a bit of money for my food and I was going to get it back.
I got there, and the manager didn't even as much as look at me and didn't say a word to me. Just handed me the receipt when he was done. Did not say a single word to me. Felt shitty. Almost as if he was annoyed, I was asking for a refund. That is not how you treat customers.
Well, this is the last time I'm patronizing this establishment.
Moved from Tallahassee 2 years ago and miss this pho on a weekly basis. Its a rough life without midtown noodles after midterms π
First time visiting and I cannot wait to go back. Prices are reasonable and the food was so good. I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad we gave it a try. Definitely buy the crab ragoons. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had in Tallahassee I just hate it's so far from where I live.
This is the only restaurant in Tallahassee I will eat ramen noodles, for I tried many other restaurant, but was always disappointed because Midtown Noodles is simply the best. My personal favorite is the Jjamppong which is very spicy and delicious. The Pho special combo is my second favorite. The Krab Rangoon make the perfect appetizer.
The food was great! A bit pricey but we had no complaints!
Loved the crab ragoon aka wonton's. Great place. Service was fast and easy. Will come back again
The food is excellent and we barely even waited after we ordered, I was so shocked at how fast they were. The boba is too sweet for my liking, but I'm sure most people would like it! The area is very spacious and nicely decorated.
the food was really good especially the tonkotsu ramen. The waitress was so nice and the vibes in the restaurant were homey!
Good food & fast service. We ordered the Krab Rangoons, the Pho Special Combo, and the Jjamppong. The krab Rangoons were hot and some of the better tasting ones we have eaten. The Jjamppong had great flavor. The only reason we are giving 4/5 is that the Pho broth could have been a bit more flavorful.
Definitely worth a visit !
Canβt imagine why this food costs so much. Got the japchae, it was dry, bland and lacking vegetables. I almost wondered if they accidentally left off the sauce, but there were tiny shreds of carrot and maybe 3 slices of mushrooms. My husband didnβt mind the udon noodles, maybe the ramen is better. But I wonβt be back
Great food, good atmosphere, and fast service!
Just moved to Tallahassee, and this is my new favorite place. I havenβt had a good bowl of ramen since I lived in Seattle! Great stuff.
The Pad Tai was not good.
I'll just wanted to start with that. The atmosphere is relaxing very modern. The udon noodle were good, I'm ordering it again if I go back. The miso ramen was also good with pork belly. The spring rolls were not worth it either. I also heard the pho was good.
First thing to throw me off from ever coming back to this place was the fact that the chicken, steak, and shrimp entrees WERE ALL THE SAME PRICE. Since when is a chicken pad Thai the same cost as a steak or shrimp meal? Food was tasty but not tasty enough for their prices. Over-priced mediocre food. Worth trying once to see if itβs worth it to you.
Massive bowl of tonkatsu ramen, very plentiful in noodles and the other fixes in ramen including bamboo, soft boiled eggs, etc. Easily accessible toppings available near cashier for free. Thai tea boba was excellent flavor and sugar level to be able to actually taste the tea. Only con was the boba bubbles, which rarely occurs, were too soft/squishy with not much tension for chewing. Otherwise, service was quick and price equated to the amount of food. Great local place!
Elizabeth was super helpful and attentive. Food was PHO-nomenal!!
I dined here for lunch today and I had the vegetable pho. The pho was pretty flavorless and the vegetables were not cooked enough. I had a hard time chewing them. I ate about 1/4 of this before calling it quits.
I drove 45 min into town to get curry. I ordered pick up. I should have checked my bag before I left thatβs on me. But seriously no curry when I got home.. what really upset Me is that i tried calling and it goes straight to a voice mail which I canβt even leave because βit hasnβt been set up yetβ so Iβm just screwed out of my money which is expensive as it is.. the main part of my meal. Now I donβt have anything and Iβm not driving 45 min back.
First time eating at the restaurant and it was delicious ππ€€, I got the Thai boba tea, midtown steak ramen , the dumplings and spring rolls. The ramen was fresh and the broth was light and not too heavy on the stomach. Staff was wonderful and nice. Definitely looking forward to my next visit π
Amazing 100/10 would recommend.
I love this place and the food I love the lady that's always there she's very nice and sweet.
I love this place. The food is awesome. Customer service is excellent. Somebody finally Crab Rangoon, right!!! It's so good, but you are going to need another dipping sauce. The Tonkotsu Ramen is soooooo yummy π and the Ramen Karaage chicken bites are good but need some more flavor!
Delicious Pho.. I think it's the best in town
The pho was FLAVORFUL! I normally have to put extra hot sauce on my pho but I tasted the broth with no extra seasonings/ condiments and it was DIVINE! I got to choose three proteins and I got shrimp, chicken and flank beef. It came up to $20 with the pho and a drink. Very reasonably priced. Iβll def be back to try other menu items !
About the only positive thing I can say about Midtown Noodles Bar is that it has a nifty interior atmosphere with their decorating. Otherwise, the food and especially the service was pretty lousy.
Food was overpriced for the quality delivered. The menu was nonsense with sharpie written to correct prices, also the "pint of kimchi" and triple cheesecake sampler were the bare minimum amount of food they could deliver. The pint of kimchi wasn't even close to a pint.
The lady who took our orders must have been very new, she didn't know what a pint was, or some items on the menu, and didn't rectify an issue we had even though she said she would.
Amazing food. Very clean, nice staff, good value. Highly recommend
This place never disappoints, one of my favorite spots to sit in and enjoy my meal!
Overpriced and the worst pho in town.
Best pho and noodle you can ever find in Tallahassee!
I came to try the noodles π but unfortunately they use beef or pork broth. I don't eat either. The Girl didn't provide any suggestions. I ended up getting the Chicken Katsu and Rice in curry sauce. The curry sauce was thick and tasted muddled. The chicken was crispy but flat tasting, it could have used a pinch of salt or something.
I don't understand why they allowed a dog inside the restaurant barking which was a disturbance.
Menus should definitely just be printed with the upgrade of pricing because writing on them with a marker looks tacky, unprofessional and hard to read.
This place really is low style dining with self serve of everything accept for the cooked food. Plastic utensils and cups. Sauces in to-go soufflΓ©, just unexpected not quite the restaurant experience I intended for my expectations. Disappointing.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Of course we also ordered the chicken fried rice.... lots of vegetables (might have been frozen), big chunks of chicken, good flavor. All portions were large and easily shareable. Definitely a great option for take out.
It was more expensive than expected. The atmosphere is nice and service was fine but it seemed like the ingredients were not high quality. I could be wrong, but it tasted like a frozen dinner. The $10-20 is much closer to 20.
Incredible veggie pho! Best in town! Legit veggies. Add tofu and π€©
Worst Thai food ever. Flavorless and terrible. Never going back.
They have roaches be careful!!!!
Very laid back and quiet. Food is great. Looks just like the pictures. I had leftovers. Will definitely be going back.
I was really disappointed because I ordered the barbecue beef ribs first and it was really good.
I went back today and tried for the bulgogi and chicken satay and it was honestly disgusting.
The beef had no char or color on it at all, it was rubbery and gray like it had been boiled and had a weird smell. Seemed to be low quality meat with a lot of fat.
To make matters worse, I had to put my chicken satay in the air fryer because it was not cooked.
And the peanut βsauceβ is just thick peanut butter and oil.
And the food was expensive, the bulgogi alone is $18. Very disappointing. Over $20 down the drain.
The pic of the satay is AFTER I air fried it.
I give it 3/5 due to the last two visits were not good.. steak ramen was missing key components and the pho tasted odd and was missing bean sprouts. Usually this place is very good but lately itβs great.

Midtown Noodle Bar! Black Milk Tea with Boba and Mango Fruit Tea. Steamed Pork Dumplings and Crab Rangoon. Chicken Fried Rice and Tonkotsu Ramen (with yummy porkbelly!) Definitely had leftovers for a snack later! Fast, fresh and delicious!!! Would recommend and return! ππππ₯π₯π
Midtown Moodles Bar has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is prepared to order and served hot, not warm, which I enjoyed. I tried the Pho with Shrimp and is was very good, the dish isn't spicy but comes with peppers on the side. The fried chicken wings are friend to perfection and the Chilli sauce pairs perfectly on the chicken. Everyone was very personable. Overall enjoyed myself, would definitely would go again.
Arrived late in Tallahassee and found this place in Google which is only 8 minutes from our hotel. The staff was kind enough to let us dine in even though they stopped letting people dine in.
She recommended the beef noodle soup, and it was indeed the best beef noodle soup I have had in the states. The broth was so flavorful with the pickled mustard greens, bok choy and the beef slices were so tender.
My daughter had their beef bulgogi and it was delicious as well.
I highly recommend this place if youβre craving for a good bowl of noodle soup, they have a good selection of everything whether it is rice or noodles that youβre craving for.
Katsu chicken curry and their honeydew boba tea are comfort foods. So yummy every time.
Well... the main turn-off was their rendition of "peanut sauce." It was straight, thick peanut butter from a jar. All that was missing was a slice of bread to spread it on. Peanut sauce should be a sauce, smooth, and able to be poured.
Next was the chicken satay was very light in color, which made me question if is was cooked thoroughly. Chicken satay, made properly, takes a while to marinate and cook.
The summer rolls were the only good thing.
The employee's negative attitude didn't help with the experience, but I'll give her grace and not focus on it.
Stopped in for Taro boba tea and it is delicious!!
Tonkotsu Ramen is amazing and full of flavor Boba tea is delicious
A very nice atmosphere, and it was cozy and clean. The food was fresh, hot, and plentiful. The cashier and staff greet you with a smile and are super friendly. Definitely worth it. I could not finish my PhΓ³ because it was a huge portion, but I was able to take the remainder home which will be tomorrow's lunch. I also ordered the Boboa Green Tea. I will be a repeat customer.
Previous meals were very good, so it was with great disappointment that my last delivery which consisted of appetizers tasted of nothing but old oil that had fried fish. None of the subtle flavors were able to be appreciated due to an over whelming taste of old fish.
Very nice and informative counter person. Food was fresh and fast. Another visit and it was very good the second time. Loved the noodles and the fast service. Very nice seating area that gives everyone lots of space. Great easy parking. I would highly recommend Midtown Noodles Bar. You will leave happy.
I keep going back for the Tonkotsu Ramen! It's so flavorful! I have yet to finish the whole bowl in one sitting!
The place is amazing i highly suggest coming here i used to go to lemon grass for pho but this places puts thos guys to shame
Had pho today. Good flavor! But low quality meat. To bad..
Love the pho, and the Katsu chicken curry, and the midtown buns. Also great fried rice options. **the pho actually has grilled chicken slices in it which I love **. Iβve noticed more people are now finding out about this place. Also very nice ambience and very clean place.
The worst pho & very unfriendly service .If I can leave a zero star then I would . Never go back again .
Food was horrible π« spent $50 and threw it all away. Will not be back. It had no flavor
The food is okay. The best was the steamed dumplings. I have no complaint about those. However, I wouldn't say the other dishes I tried tasted much like usual Thai food. The pad thai did not taste at all like pad thai due to the sauce, but it wasn't inedible. The prices are pretty expensive. There's another Thai restaurant in town with cheaper and better food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the seating is very uncomfortable. If you're fat or disabled, I'd recommend not eating at the restaurant. There was also a roach in the parking lot that tried to get into my car, and this was during the afternoon, not at night. It wasn't in the restaurant, but it was right outside, and that is enough for me to never go back. The food tastes fine, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting the usual tastes of Thai food.
Located in the heart of Tallahassee, Florida, Midtown Noodle Bar is a hidden gem that promises an authentic and delightful Vietnamese culinary adventure. During my recent visit to this charming eatery, I opted for their signature dish: the Pho with Eye Round beef, and I must say, it left a lasting impression.
As I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The staff was attentive and accommodating, guiding me through the menu and providing excellent recommendations.
The star of the show, the Pho with Eye Round beef, arrived promptly, served in a generously-sized bowl filled with steaming, fragrant broth. The first sip instantly awakened my senses, as the complex flavors of cinnamon, star anise, and cloves intermingled harmoniously with the umami of the beef broth. It was clear that the broth had been simmered to perfection, allowing the flavors to develop a rich depth that is often hard to find in Pho.
The Pho's rice noodles were cooked to perfection - soft with a delightful bite, absorbing the broth's flavors without becoming soggy. The thinly sliced Eye Round beef was tender and cooked just right, delivering a melt-in-your-mouth experience with every bite. The dish was accompanied by a traditional garnish plate containing bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime wedges, and jalapenos, allowing diners to tailor the flavors to their preferences.
What impressed me most about Midtown Noodle Bar was their commitment to authenticity. It was evident in the attention to detail in every aspect of the dish, from the high-quality ingredients to the traditional preparation methods. It truly felt like a culinary journey to the streets of Vietnam, right in the heart of Tallahassee.
The restaurant also offered an array of other Vietnamese delicacies that I can't wait to explore on my next visit. From delectable spring rolls to the range of delicious broth-oriented dishes, Midtown Noodle Bar has a wide variety of options to satisfy any palate.
As a food enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that provide not only excellent cuisine but also a memorable dining experience. Midtown Noodle Bar checks all the boxes. The combination of top-notch service, a cozy atmosphere, and exceptional Vietnamese cuisine makes it a must-visit restaurant in Tallahassee.
In conclusion, if you are in Tallahassee and craving a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Midtown Noodle Bar is the place to go. I wholeheartedly recommend the Pho with Eye Round beef for a soul-warming and unforgettable dining experience. Whether you are a seasoned Pho aficionado or a newcomer to Vietnamese cuisine, Midtown Noodle Bar will undoubtedly leave you with a Pho-nomenal experience!
This was my first visit, and it will NOT be my last. Midtown Noodles Bar was off the chain. I had the pho with pick 3, and I felt like it was super inexpensive. I've never been to a noodle bar, so I'm unaware of the going rates. The flavor, presentation, and overall experience were awesome. Looking forward to trying another gluten-free item.
Easy parking, fast service, lots of food -fresh & hot. Will return!
Great Ramen bowl and boba choices!
Amazing food. π
This was a new experience for me. A Thai noodle bar. The first thing you need to to is order at the cashier. Then you take a seat. There were many things I didn't know, so I had a spring roll and Pad Thai noodles. It's really very good.
The place itself is an adventure to find and it's a bit more cafeteria-like than I prefer, but they were very sweet.
Oh, I discovered Thai Boba Tea. You either know it or you don't, but I liked it a lot. Reasonable prices.
Great place and very yum food. Everything we ordered was so good. Service was quick. Recommend!
Food was good but as usual there's always room for improvement, service was great, they do care about their customers, the place it self is very homie
So good. Fluffy buns for pork belly buns and delicious food
So nice! The food was DELICIOUS and the serving size is huge! Very clean and so cutely decorated. Staff was very nice. New favorite place.
First time and it was great, will be back for sure
Great spot! Only been in Tallahassee a few days but the Ramen here is outstanding! Friendly service, happy to deal with my ingredient substitutions. A/C was awesome and welcome for this guy from the PNW. Tried the Crab Rangoon and it also passed inspection, crunchy hot and a delicious filling. Oh and the menu is awesome tons of variety!
The food wasβ¦..decent, but the customer service was HORRIFIC. My table had a small mix up with the way our order was brought out. While explaining it to the server he very rudely stated βthatβs your fault not mineβ. I am a very understanding and calm person so his response was very unwarranted and hurtful. We still had a good time but that one server in particular definitely needs to work on proper customer service skills.
My first time trying this place was really good. Will definitely go back and try more yummy food options. It's super nice inside, and the lady at the counter was also very friendly and helpful. I decided to try the Midtown Zhajiang Noodles, and the pork in it was super delicious. I'm on a mission to find my favorite boba taro milk tea in town, and so far this is #2 on the list!
Went there for the first time. Food was better than expected. Had the chicken pad Thai. Was tasty.
I had Yanzhou Fried Rice and it was downright disgusting, even I can cook fried rice better than that. I felt like I was drinking a bowl of oil. I had to stop eating it because I started to feel like throwing up. On top of it being super oily, the meat was hard and had no flavor, and the shrimp and slight cooked with no flavor. It was just unappetizing and disgusting.
In fact, I had eaten 2 different meals over a year ago and I had similar poor experience with my food. Honestly, it feels like someone learned to cook from YouTube and without perfecting their skill, is now serving whatever they learned.
This is really low quality Asian cooking. This kind of cooking is okay if you are teaching yourself at home and asking friends and family to try out what you learned, but to serve cooking like that to the public and charge, even for fast food eatery, I don't think that 's okay.
Good Pho Tai Num, the noddle is kind of thick. The soup was just ok. The meat/steak is totally un eteble. There is no way this is meat/ steak, please see the pictures. We just put it on the side, and we drank the soup. Other dishes were ok but not so great, they gave us the wrong order twice. Awesome service, though. They brought us the food to the tables.
Overpriced, underwhelming, and my yaki udon smelled and tasted so unappetizing I almost considered returning it to the kitchen (hoisin sauce saved it, slightly). The other people in my group ordered ramen, and they felt the noodles were undercooked/too crunchy. Not worth the money.
Best Ramen in Tally
Hearty servings! $13 for pad Thai and itβs definitely a two meal plate, friendly staff and cute atmosphere.
Update on 1/2/23: got the pho (flank steak and chicken) spring rolls and summer rolls. Pho was a large amount, the meat wasnβt really flavorful? If I got it again I wouldnβt get meat. The summer roll came with peanut butter on the side which wouldβve been nice to have as a thinner dipping sauce (but thatβs me being picky) the spring rolls with pork however were the best thing!
Food is very good.
I'm glad we did find this place to eat in town. The original place we intended to eat was close due to the day we picked was closed on that day. It's a really nice place and ambient place if the dining area isn't full and not much noise. Besides being full and too noisy when we got there it isn't all that bad. The price is decent and priced right for the taste of the food and service. I would definitely come back again and try the other ramen. Great deal on the Boba of buy 2 get 1 free.
Just stopped in for Boba Tea, it was delicious. Place was clean, and smelled good from the food they were making. I will be back to try more!
Excellent and delicious food.
I ordered the Pork Tonkotsu, it wasn't bad but very lack luster. If I had paid $10 I would have been very happy but at $16 it was not satisfying. The chashu was paper thin with only one or two pieces, the corn was obviously canned, they used pickled ginger rather than fresh, and the broth was obviously made with bouillon cubes, or powder, they also opted to use the cheaper wavy dried ramen rather than either higher quality straight dried, wet, or fresh made. I couldn't spot a single fresh ingredient which I would expect for the price. Other Ramen joints I have been to have far superior quality for even lower prices.
The three stars are mostly for the crab wantons they were pretty top notch, the other food seems like it may have been good but I only tried the ramen.
Yum! First time tonight, exactly what I wanted!
A little pricey but the ramen & desserts are excellent. They charge like everything is made from scratch but offer no indication that is the case. Regardless, I'll still drop by when I'm in the area or Hopkins is packed.
Great broth in both pho and ramen. Nice tableware. No mint or basil w/ pho
All great
I tried this place as an alternative to my normal ramen establishment because it was closed today. I really really hope the recipe and low quality ingredients are reconsidered for the steak ramen. If I pay $17 for ramen as a part of my only meal of the day, I expect to be able to finish it. Thankfully I was able to eat the lettuce rolls in rice paper and spoonful of peanut butter that I also ordered.
Everything is always good. I love their noodle options for my gluten intolerance.
This is one of those places where the food might be ok if youβve never tried that dish before. Boyfriend and I went and got chicken satay, krab Rangoons, two chicken pad Thai, and one fountain drink and paid over $50. The chicken was cooked and seasoned alright but it did not taste like satay and the peanut sauce had very little flavor. Krab rangoons were fine but not great. The pad Thai was the worst Iβve ever had, very few toppings, no veggies other than very soggy bean sprouts, and the chicken tasted unseasoned. The sauce was definitely below average in flavor quality, had a weird smell, and tasted nothing like pad Thai sauce. Service was fast and the place was cute but definitely wonβt go back, you can find much better for cheaper.
The food was fresh and hot! We've been there twice now and both times the food was on point! There is a nice atmosphere and the employees were friendly. The only negative thing is that both times I've gone into the restaurant, it smells like something is burnt.
I had the Katsu Chicken curry.
Really good balance of spices, size portion was more than enough, the place looks really good and clean inside. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. Would definitely come back.
Trash
Peeps enjoyed it
Good pho
Not great food. Pho was not pho; it was beef broth. Steak in the βphoβ was tough and dry. Spring roll was lousy as was the peanut sauce. Very disappointing.
Get. The. Pork. Buns.
Food was prepared and delivered quickly. The summer rolls each had a single small shrimp and were over-filled with old chopped lettuce with stray bits of carrot. The beef noodle soup was surprisingly bland and the beef had cartilage and inedible bits still attached. I felt like I was eating beef water spaghetti. Very little bok choy.
Been there twice. The first order was the veggie pho and the second was flake beef. Both orders were good but I prefer the veggie pho. The crab Rangoon was the absolute best Iβve tasted in a while. I must say the broth was excellent . This is the most authentic place in Tallahassee. I highly recommend .
At 6:30 on 7/19 I received great service from Charlie. He was very accommodating.
Ambiance was lovely and staff were friendly. The food was alright. My partner and I weren't crazy about the dishes we got, but it wasn't bad either. I ended up not being able to finish and making another meal out of it so that's a win. For the price and the amount of food you get, it's not bad. They may have other stuff on the menu that is really good too. There's a lot of options. I got Veggie Pad Thai and the edamame appetizer. My partner got chicken fried rice.
If you're into boba, they have a BOGO deal from 2-4PM.
I have never posted a negative dining review, but being one of the 5 worst dining experiences in my life, I felt obligated.
From the beginning to end, I was disappointed. I drove across town because of the high rating on Yelp, and was greeted by a young woman who was talking on her AirPods as I ordered. No biggie, but after the subsequent issues it added to the overall experience.
I ordered the steak ramen, spring rolls and an iced tea. After filling up my tea I found that the tea was spoiled, and had that taste of tea that has been sitting for multiple days. Also not a biggie by itself, but after former and latter issues, it added to the overall experience.
After receiving my spring rolls (Vegetable), I took a bite and found them frozen in the middle. I asked the girl working the register (Still on her phone) if the spring rolls were made fresh, and she told me that indeed they were. I told her that they were still frozen, whereupon she grabbed the remaining spring roll and brought back two more that were warm on the outside and scorching hot on the inside (Microwaved). The vegetables inside the spring rolls were mushy at best and had the consistency of grits. By far the most disgusting spring rolls I have ever had.
The ramen itself was ok, although the noodles were undercooked and the yolk on the egg had skin on it, which makes me feel like itβs been tiring in a fridge for a while.
I spent $30 on this meal and now praying that I donβt get sick.
Simply good food and drink that wonβt break the bank.
Top notch Pho
As soon as we went in the atmosphere is very inviting and nice. Customer service is exceptional and the food amazing. Great taste and big portions. I will definitely recommend this place. Charlie was amazing and very helpful when it came to answer questions about the menu.
Food was hot and fresh. Staff super friendly. Appetizers were really good. Noodle were a bit tough, but plentiful.
would def not recommend any of the boba drinks from here.
Wow...my first time there and I have to say I will definitely be going back. Nice atmosphere, good service, and the food was phenomenal.
