We tryed this place 2 years ago in person and swore it off because the food was bad . Today we were in a rush and blindly order from there on Uber eats. The food was so bad I am taken time out of my day to warn strangers I don’t know for free .

The food was delicious with the spice level just right as requested, which is so important with Thai. Had the chicken with ginger sauce and chicken with cashew sauce, both with brown rice. Very fresh veggies and well spiced sauces. Both lunch entrees were priced under $10, which is a rare find anymore. Friendly and prompt service. Will definitely return.

Love this place. The server is a sweetheart and the food is full of flavour. Quite literally one of the best Thai places in Florida.

This is the best Thai restaurants near the downtown Stuart area. They have great food, tasty Thai ice teas, and friendly staff. Try to not let the decor deter you, there is truly no better place for Thai food.

Don’t let the outsides fool you, the quality of food is high and delicious. The outside looks like it needs a bit of TLC but who cares. Flavors pop and savory. Worth a stop in. The curry was yummy and soups are flavorful. Will definitely stop in again.

I was in the area for work and was recommended however I believe I experienced food poisoning after 30 minutes of eating chicken garlic sauce and vegetables I developed the worst abdominal pain and all that comes with it. Convinced it was food poisoning however I lived to talk about it

I’ll elaborate for the smart mouth owner that replied to this review… your server(the guy) gave us a set of three smelly leftover sauces from another table next to us. Didn’t even check if there was any sauce in any of them. They were empty. Just like he didn’t check the cleanliness of the glassware or utensils. Teach your server cleanliness or basic serving standards. I’m 26 now and I used to go more frequently since I was 17… the dish doesn’t even look set up the way it used to. Now it’s all jumbled together.

In my experience, this place isn’t authentic Thai food. Tom yum soup and Pad Thai are salty . The Tom yum soup doesn’t have Thai Lime leaf which makes flavor for the soup. The most important is dirty restaurant.

Excellent food. So authentic. The best Pad Thai I had in Florida so far. The owner and cook is half Thai and half Guatemalan. He is nice and friendly. My hubby and I really enjoyed his cooking.

A quaint little place but nothing fancy. I guess you could call it rustic. Almost felt like I was sitting at a real Thailand eatery. Parking is a little tough. The $1.95 salad with peanut dressing was to die for. That's right... a buck ninety five for a cereal sized bowl. An imitation crab appetizer in some type of fried shell and a special dip was yummy at only $6.95. I enjoyed the ginger chicken and the daughter enjoyed the basil roast duck. Both came with plenty of veggies mixed in.

Don't pass it up. Worth your try. We're go'n back.

Quiet and pretty. This is a gem in Martin County. I had Masaman Chicken curry and pork dumplings. Was so flavorful. This one of the best Thai restaurants in Stuart just south of the bridge. No regrets ordering in or out here!

Wow! That was an incredible meal! The Penang curry sauce was thick, which is hard to come by, the vegetables were crunchy & the chopped peanut topping was incredible. Although the restaurant is truly a whole in the wall, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.

I had a great time, the food was absolutely delicious and the appetizers were great especially the Crab Rangoon, the house salad with the peanut sauce was very refreshing and the service was on point, the place looks suspect from the outside but the inside is quite nice.

Worst Thai food I've ever had. You can tell everything is cheap quality and not very flavorful. Very expensive and lackluster food quality. This is their chicken wonton in my picture, it's simply embarrassing.

Had a wonderful time and awesome food at the suggestion of our foodie friends. Some of the best Tasty Thai food I've had in 20 years! We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all amazingly delicious. Our friends had a conversation on a previous visit and learned about ordering Thai style at half power. If you love spicy it's a whole new level from the 1-5 on the menu. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area to try some more. Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow. 😋

This cute little place has great food and service. The guy running the show was so sweet. After we ate my car had broke down and he was very nice about not towing it so I could figure it out in the morning.

Honestly this place is one of those tucked in the hole food places that does everything well. Excellent food excellent service. Excellent lighting. A good place to take a friend or a partner in my opinion and criminally inexpensive to.

First time at a Thai restaurant. The food was great. nice little place. The crab rangoon was the best I've ever had and the sweet sauce was tasty. Not sure what it was. We may try the lobster tail next time. Great first experience.

Basil Garden Thai is the best Thai food in town! It’s super authentic with a Thai inspired atmosphere and delicious food. Their prices are such a good deal, you get so much food and sides for such a low price. If you go, you HAVE to try their spring rolls. The photo I added is their green curry with tofu!

Arrived, and as we waited, a Cockroach crawled across the table. We got up and left. We were told they had just sprayed a day ago. It It takes much longer to get rid of them. If a rouch shows up at the front of the house, who knows what's in the back.

I had the red curry with chicken and jasmine rice; it was perfect. I can’t wait for my next visit to try a different dish! The interior does need some refreshing but the food is wonderful!

It was my first time going with my husband. We have been here for 5 years and never tried this place and it did not disappoint! The food was very delicious, the service was friendly and at a great price point. If you like Thai food bring your family or as a quick date night. It's an establishment that has been around for a while but the food was very delicious.

WOW! I’ve lived in the area my entire life and never once came here…until now!! This place is awesome - so affordable and HEALTHY portions! Very authentic and the appetizer with the curry (can’t remember the name LOL) was DIVINE! The only thing was that we did see a little pest roam around, which freaks some out, BUT this building is old as can be, so I couldn’t mark down for a little friend running around. Just pointing that out for people that have a serious problem with that.

Service was good and fast, food was ok. For me it would be the first and last time.

Unfortunately, they failed at the first rule of restaurant ownership, “The food must taste good.” Needless to say the food was very bland and not up to par with what I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. Food was very good. Waiter was friendly and accomodating. They didn't fuss changing one vegetable for another like some other local thai places that want to charge for a simple vegetable substitution.
Ambience inside has a lot to be asked for however. Thus the 4 star instead of 5. I was actually going to give a 3 because of this but the service was so good and the food was good that I didn't have the heart to do it. Prices were fair too. It needs some paint and upkeep internally. They need to remember first impressions and presentation are powerful in deciding where people eat among other things.

We ordered takeout and I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the Thai cuisine. Highly recommend this establishment and we will be back. Thank you for a great meal!

What's not to like?

Ordered takeout for lunch on 06/29/2020. Went back to work and was eating my food when i found a roach in my food. Picture is attached. The employee did not seem surprised by it when i took the food back. Absolutely disgusting.

Got take out and the pad Thai was really greasy and had a funny orange color. It didn't taste fresh at all. Had kind of a strange almost ketchup flavor. My friend had a curry and was equally unimpressed.

I’ve been going to this Basil Garden for quite a while I’m surprise that I haven’t reviewed it by now. Every single time I eat here it’s a fantastic experience. Not only is the staff super super friendly and helpful. But the food is consistently delicious. Domy waits on us every time and is very attentive and kind. I can’t remember a single time ever having a bad experience here. You can tell the food is fresh, & you don’t feel bloated or heavy afterward. The Chicken fried rice is superb & the Pad Thai is amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a fairly priced delicious meal. This is the place to go! Thank you!
