Aunthentic Thai and northeastern cuisine varities of spices in each dishes
Restaurant Review: A Delightful Culinary Experience on Miracle Mile
During our recent visit to a sushi spot on Miracle Mile, we were treated to an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and we opted for the cozy ambiance indoors.
We started with the Red Dragon Roll, which proved to be an excellent choice. The roll was packed with bold flavors and was generously portioned. The accompanying sauces elevated the taste, adding an extra layer of deliciousness to every bite.
For our appetizer, we selected the Sample Appetizer for Two, which featured an enticing assortment of Chicken Satay, Thai Dumplings, Spring Rolls, and something intriguingly named Money Bags. I was curious about the Money Bags and discovered they are delightful, fully edible pouches filled with a flavorful vegetable mixture, cleverly crafted to resemble tiny money bags. Each item was perfectly prepared, fresh, and bursting with authentic flavors.
Overall, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The combination of high-quality ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and flavorful dishes made for an unforgettable meal. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu offerings. Highly recommended for sushi lovers and food enthusiasts alike!
Authentic, delicious Thai restaurant! They have some Northern Thai specialties which you can’t find everywhere. The ambience is lovely and relaxing. The service is friendly and efficient. The whole fried fish was exactly what we wanted. The sauce was spicy with a note of sweetness, really complementing the fried fish. The southern Thai curry was a unique dish and we found it very tasty. The Isaan sausages are a good appetizer to try. Highly recommend the som tum . We tried the Isaan style with anchovy and salted black shell crab. It is such a great combination of flavors - salty, spicy, and sweet. If you’re looking for delicious Thai food in a beautiful setting, this is the place you are going to love.
Cozy, tasty spot serving up traditional Thai food with excellent service
Seems like this place doesn’t get the attention it deserves. It’s one of maybe three spots in all of Miami that serves a full traditional Thai menu, without a side of three different Asian cuisines tacked on to the menu
Papaya salad isn’t my first choice but here, it was fresh, tasty and refreshing
Red curry on point. The coconut milk in the Tom Kha was DELICIOUS and rich. So good!
Surprise highlight was the Pad See Ew. Thai basil flavor with firm tofu laden atop thick noodles.. can’t go wrong
Maybe the best mango sticky rice in Miami! You know it’s legit when the sticky rice is warm, the mango is ripe and there is an abundance of condensed coconut milk
This place is INCREDIBLE, truly a hidden gem. I’m mad I’ve lived in the area for the past couple of years and didn’t get to experience this place until now.
I have not had such a homey style of cooking like this in a long time at a restaurant. Hands down one of the best Asian spots in Miami.
I’ve never really had northern Thai food before and I was ~impressed~
Everything we ate was a flavor explosion in my mouth. We got the chicken laarb, fried pork belly and the Isaan style pork curry. Highly recommend all of these dishes if you like strong flavors. :)

We had an incredible plate of Som Tam, Massaman Curry, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The staff and food were so good! Highly recommend.

Really good food , excellent service and affordable prices , 100 % recommended
My favorite lunch place in the Gables. They do a great job with lunch specials and also have an incredible variety in their full menu.
Best Thai food in Miami. The service was excellent very attentive
Es un excelente lugar para comer comida tailandesa muy auténtica la recomiendo esta en el centro de coral Gables
Astonishing flavors and fresh ingredients. Transported instantly back to beautiful Thailand with the food of this place. Try it you’ll love it
Está bueno la comida lo recomiendo es lo mejor hay aquí en Coral Gables
Quality of the food and taste has drastically dropped. Not sure if the chef has changed
I ordered delivery from here - pad see ew and thai spring rolls. The spring rolls were advertised as filled with pork and shrimp but had only veggies. The pad see ew was flavorless and soggy.
This place is one of my favorites Thai restaurants in Coral Gables and probably in the Miami area. They offer great costumer service, the staff is friendly and always helpful. The food is pretty good. Prices are reasonable for the area and great for the food quality.
My favorite Thai place in Miami!
As a Thai food lover, there aren't many options in Miami, but I am
so happy to have found this place. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is kind. If you're looking for a more casual dinner spot, this is a great choice. I'm happy that they are also on the delivery platforms and I look forward to ordering from them!
Went here for dinner with friends and everything was delicious!! Service was out of this world, definitely a must-try for extraordinary Thai food 😋🩷
Real authentic Thai cuisine here in a nice area of Coral Gables. The food is very favorable and fresh. Myself and another person are vegan and they accommodated our dish very well. Customer service is excellent. Small cozy place with big vibes. We will return and please give them a try! They also have lunch specials everything is reasonable price.
Excelente servicio y comida riquísima se los recomiendo al 100%
Excellent tasting food.. We've been coming here for years and is always a great experience
Best Thai food in the area. I eat here almost every Sunday. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to eat for Thai!
Malakor Thai Isaan in Coral Gables, Miami is a gem for those craving authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The flavors are spot-on, taking you straight to the streets of Northern Thailand. Highlights include the fresh papaya salad and spicy laab. With top-notch ingredients and genuine recipes, this spot nails the essence of Northern Thai food. Don't miss out if you're in search of an authentic taste of Thailand in Miami.
Excellent fried rice!!!
Based on the recommendations of friends (their “favorite restaurant” we gave it a try. We ordered the Pad Thai vegetarian with tofu cubes and the red curry chicken. Both were delicious and the service was great. We also ordered the brown rice which was dark and grainy (most delicious). Cant wait to go back again. Service excellent though they could have filled the waters more frequently.
From the very beginning of entering the restaurant you feel the ambiance of a welcoming restaurant. The food was served with excellence and was very fresh and tasty. The Pan Nan Curry was outstanding especially Thia Hot. Thanks for an awesome lunch!
great service! been here twice and food was amazing both times! chill small spot to have a nice dinner.
great food, great atmosphere, great service !! thanks for being so accommodating for shellfish allergy :)
Good food
I been to this restaurant maybe like 3 times. The food was good as usual. The only thing is I thought I was in a Hispanic restaurant. The staff were all speaking Spanish to each other I thought this was a Thai restaurant? At least speak English. Talking about when the waiters communicate with the cooks. I also saw Tele Mundo on the tv What? Really? I could of went to a Cuban restaurant to see all of that. The waiter was nice, but needs help being attentive to the customers. I just would like being in "Thailand" feeling not Cuba..
Excellent food and service!!! Thanks
I don’t know about this place . The yen ta fao was horrible. I did not find the taste to be good . The service was great, and accommodating. But something about that did not spike my interest.
The lobster was not fresh at all. Complete waste of money, unfortunately.
My husband and I were very unlucky with the waiter that day. the waiter was incredibly rude.I don’t eat gluten before taking a seat we asked about gluten free option. When I had doubts about the gluten content in the dish the waiter rudely replied to us something like he didn’t know, we asked to check with the chef just in case, and unpleasant reaction followed, he told us to feel free to leave. We stayed out of curiosity, it was difficult to choose from a poorly designed menu, but food was very good, the second waiter was very polite and tried his best. My advice order just to take out.

Malakor Thai has consistently been my go-to Thai restaurant in Miami, and for good reason. It's a true gem in the culinary scene, offering a delightful combination of superb service and mouthwatering food.
The moment you step into Malakor Thai, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is top-notch. Their friendly and attentive service is just one of the many reasons I keep coming back.
Malakor Thai consistently delivers on all fronts. It's a place where you can savor the essence of Thai cuisine without a doubt. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend making it your go-to Thai restaurant in Miami. You won't be disappointed!
Chicken pad Thai was the toughest dryest chicken I ever had for this dish
Food is great!!
Great casual AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant. I always say, it’s not a real Asian place if they don’t have Buddah in it! We had the Tom yum soup, red curry and pad Thai- all amazing. Big portions, so be prepared to eat! Very friendly staff as well. I will definitely be dining here again!
Is an excellent Thailand food restaurant, a little small space but the staff are friendly and nicely, the taste is excellent. I recommend it.
Es un excelente restaurante de comida tailandesa, un espacio un poco pequeño pero el personal es amable y agradable, el sabor es excelente. Lo recomiendo.
Thank God I finally found a good Thai Restaurant in Miami. Food was delicious, portions were big and service was quick! Lots of choices on the menu so I'll definitely be back for more!
The massaman curry here is one of the best I've ever tried. So flavorful and the perfect spice. The pad thai is fantastic also. Great place to eat.
Desde que llegas al lugar ,tiene un ambiente acogedor,la decoración excelente,el servicio de los camareros exelente,En general, tuve una experiencia fantástica en Malakor
This was our 4th time back. The food is not the same. You can see the short cuts made in the plating visual and taste. By the time our party of 5 got home, 3 of us had upset stomachs. Won’t be going back.
Came here first time and was impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. Tried the Duck Crispy plate with white rice and vegetables. Very well prepared and tasty with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. And generous portions. Authentic Thai food for sure. Great service from the manager, Nat. Will have to return to try their other dishes.
Excelente servicio y excelente comida, muchas veces compro mi almuerzo en este sitio y siempre está delicioso, se los recomiendo al 100%
Food was terrible. The beef was super fatty it was not edible. Expensive for what it is. Why not use a better cut of meat?
I ordered food to go last night and was very disappointed in the lobster pad thai. When I arrived home to eat, the lobster smelled rotten and was black underneath. It was spoiled and just disgusting. My kitchen still stinks like that bad lobster meat this morning after throwing it out. Yuck, will not be back.
Possibly the best Thai food here in Miami
The best Thai restaurant ever!! Love their padthai and basil friedrice! I am sure their other dish are delish.
Their spicy level is 1-5 so you can adjust as you like!
Go visit and you wont regret it!
Lovely stay, exquisite food, decoration and music. Excellent our host Kony, Amazing
Fabulous soup. Finaly good Thai food in Coral Gables.
Very good service
Nice cosy small place with good quality food. Really loved their entrees Spicy Basil fried rice and Shrimp Pad thai. Pineapple fried rice was descent.
So-so Thai food. Large servings.
Best Thai Restaurant in Miami, and to be honest, after a long trip to Thailand I couldn't find a PadThai as good as Malakor! I eat at this restaurant every week, Roberto, Mario treat us as part of the family. Highly recommend the PadThai, the Massaman Curry and the Papaya salad.... oh, and the $6 Tom Kha Soup is our of this world!!!
I recently visited this Thai restaurant and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance engulfed me in Thai culture. The decor was beautiful and had a traditional feel to it.
The service was also exceptional. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive, and offered great suggestions for our meal. The food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Malakor. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai cuisine.
i’m thai and i love it, อาหารอร่อยถูกใจมากค่ะ ปลาร้าคือดีขาปูคือนัว
I come here since the opening. It’s always been delicious, fast, reasonable, clean and great service. Most authentic Thai and healthiest lunch in Coral Gables. Thank you.
The appetizers were really good which make me think the food would be amazing. We had the drunken noodles and fried rice but it was terrible, both dishes were flavorless compared to other Thai Restaurants. The service was also very poor. Our server berely spoke any English and got our order wrong, while i understand and applaud him for trying its not fair to customers, as this resulted in the incorrect order, trying to explain it to him didn't work out. And because the space is so small they sit around looking at you. its very uncomfortable.
Another great find! What a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious and their servers were so kind. I will definitely be back for some more food and laughs.
Ooh my god just had dinner here and it was THE BEST Thai food I’ve had in Miami.
We had the papaya salad 4/5 spicy and ooh wee they don’t play around with their spice levels!! We also had the duck noodle soup and the Chiang Mai noodles (a.k.a., khao soi) and the flavors for both noodle soups were rich, nuanced and comforting, perfect for when you’re fighting off the sniffles.
Absolutely would come back.
Good food !! Orange chicken so good
Food was okay. We ordered pad Thai it was about the same from other places. But they have a mandatory 21%tips regardless of service.
This place is incredible! I love it!
Great service and delicious Thai food. Found this spot randomly, it’s a hidden gem! We’ll be back
Really liked the pad kee mao, the noodles were thick and homemade and had a very interesting bite. The tom kha and basil beef were also great.
Food is great, service is OK. But double count dishes we ordered and still adding 23% tip automatically is not acceptable.
Foods were okay. They offer some authentic Thai food, but the taste was not quite balanced. Papaya salad tray was very salty. We felt rushed by servers. There was only our table in the restaurant at that time. There's definitely rooms for improvement on a customer service and food.
To die for Bean thread noodle dish.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant of all time. Small interior, and on nice days you can sit outside with your dogs. Excellent service. Excellent food. We always get the sample appetizer for (2). We also love the Malakor salad Thai style, Tom Kha Chicken soup , pad thai, pad see eew, pad woon sen, and all the fried rices. I've also tried many of the sakes! Cannot rate this place highly enough.
It is okay not spectacular
21% Gratituty didn't like that part, wrong
Exelente el miso sibas es expectscular
Great place for lunch. Good food and prices. great service. Good location even though parking could be a bit difficult.
Pad….Thai
Clean delicious not an expensive place
Mid food
Excellent food and service.
Always a sure place to enjoy food and company
Good is always amazing and great portions. Top Thai choices in the gables area.
Healthy flavorful Thai. Easy quick and gratifying food
Worst customer service ever! Average food
Great food! Was a little spicy but they took it back and made it less so. This is a great place and customer service is first rate as is the taste.
I have been having lunch here for years now. I was surprised that I hadn't done a review for them sooner. The service and food is excellent. I recommend the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. The prices are reasonable. This is an good option for a quick lunch.
Best Chicken Satay I’ve ever had… have to resist the urge to order multiple times a week. Tom Yum and Tom Gha are also delicious. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are great and generous portions!
Delicious, affordable, Thai food worth great service and a great mix of dishes.
Authentic Thai food! Definitively try the Pad See Ew and Thai Fried Rice. I'm super picky about my noodles but theirs were fresh, soft, and full of flavor. I got delivery and it was piping hot and fresh.
Best pad see ew I’ve ever had. Highly recommend
Authentic and delicious! If you like spicy Thai food (I mean real spicy) this is the place for you! The red curry was full of flavor and depth. I recommend going with spice level 2 or 3 out of the 5. For dessert I had the Thai donuts which were also very yummy. But who can say anything bad about fries dough dipped in condensed milk. We will be coming back!
Fried Thai dumplings was amazing. Great service and beautiful outdoor seating.
Best Thai Restaurant in the gables!
Amazing food and great staff
Fantastic! 😉
Yummy! Great service.
Yum Yum!
We ordered Isaac sausage, duck salad, som tum Lao and kaeng orm kai. The food was truly authentic and so delicious that we placed this restaurant at the top of our Thai restaurant list in the country.
Poor to mediocre at best. Shame.
WARNING: if you are a vegan or vegetarian do not order from here. I am a vegan and my mom is a long time vegetarian. She ordered a Pad Thai with tofu. She started eating it and tasted something weird. She mixed the Pas Thai together and saw that the entire bottom half of the container was chicken. Not only does this go against my morals but it will also make my mom very sick as she hasn’t eaten chicken in years. We ordered off Uber Eats to our hotel and did not receive a refund or apology. I’m now worried about what was in my tofu curry…
Ordered to go, did not dine in and they still charged me an extra fee which I’m assuming is gratuity tip. Why would me purchasing 1 Thai curry that is $14 come out to $20 on my debit card? I would not come here again as I feel scammed.
Rude and gross.
The waiter here is in bad attitude. We ordered duck noodle soup and another dish, he bring us two completely different dishes and blamed us for not telling him correctly! I never saw a waiter in that bad attitude in my life, really bad!
BAD SERVICE! They gave us two dishes that we didn’t order and insisted we ordered those and talked to us in a very very bad attitude. No one deserves a bad restaurant experience like this, so my suggestion is never come to this restaurant!
A small gem! Mucho delicious food in a laid back atmosphere.
The food here has no flavor and taste nothing like Thai food! Price is not cheap as well
This place was a regular weekly spot for me and my friends but no more. Tonight, instead of being served, we were met with a very cold demeanor, along with a, “Why do you always come so late? We are closing soon” Mind you, this is around 8:30pm and the hours posted are, open until 11pm. I thought that comment was very unprofessional and very dismissive. Clearly, they didn’t want our business or the couple that came after us. Let me be very clear, we would spend a lot of money here and we were good tippers.
I will still give it two stars because the previous experience was positive. However, to the owner, this misstep from one of your waiters (I won’t mention his name) left a bad taste in our mouths.
To anyone planning on dining there, please be sure to get there before 8:30pm for service.
Excellent Thai food, reasonably priced.
Good service.
Hands down the best steamed dumplings. The basil fried rice is to die for and the mussman curry always hits the spot.
Delicious pad see ew. Excellent pad Thai. Super awful everything else. Adding pictures of literal large chunks of raw hard shell crab chunks mixed into papaya salad. Not cool and super gross. Also this weird shrimp thing. Literally warm raw whole shrimp mixed with thick sliced cloves of raw garlic. Completely missed one whole order from Uber eats; upon contact, they were super rude, not offering a refund for the missed foot and not even willing to send the food to us, only offer $15 credit for when we return. No way are we going back. It sucked.
I was visiting a friend while in town and she recommended this restaurant for Thai food. It was lovely. Great service, excellent food. I will come again, next time I'm in Miami.
Fresh and local!!
Nothing on the menu is vegetarian...even the curry that has "vegan" next to it pretty disappointed. Friend had red curry said I wasn't missing much
Best Thai food in the Miami area! Really good service too.
When they opened , everything was delicious and a go to spot for us but recently the quality of the food and flavor went downhill. My wife and I ordered the chicken pad Thai two weeks ago on a Sunday wow! The noddles were burnt with a little bit of flavor that over powered with the spicy flavor no balance. We gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and tired them again yesterday night with some friends. It’s really hard to find Thai or Asian fusion in this area. Ichimi that is around the corner is way better. Unfortunately yesterday was our last time going there. If I were you please go somewhere else, The waiter Alex was nice but the manager was bit intense he didn’t want to split our check and made a bit of a scene So to sum everything up , if I were you and you really want to eat Thai food. Drive to west kendal to rock a bangkok. You won’t regret it!
Excelente comida. Yo comi el pato frito y es el mejor he probado. Los dumplings y el edamame también fue de primera.
Totalmente recomendado
I just do not get why is not this place PACKED
Me trataron mal irrespetuosamente
Best Thai in Miami ! One of my favorite restaurant . I’ve tried many Thai places but this place is my fav. Authentic food, great service, great prices and the food tastes AMAZING
Love this restaurant food amazing service amazing we will definitely come back here again
Delicious
Great food and service.
Food is a joke, tiny portions and not tasty.
Stopped here for a relaxing outdoor lunch on a Monday. This was one of the few restaurants open at the time. The food was a great value compared with other surrounding places to eat, and very flavorful.
Literally flew into Miami and was in need of a thai cuisine restaurant and this was the nearest that had high ratings. Visited and had a meal that was very good and merits a 5 star rating. The cost of a meal is not bad either. COVID-19 guidelines were being followed as well so that made dining in a lot less of a concern...
The Chiang Mai Noodles were delicious. Will definitely be coming back for more
The staff and the food was absolutely amazing. I really felt like I was back in Thailand when I was eating this food. I was very happy to be here and by the way it's my first time being here at this location. Come you will love it ❤️
Wonderful service, wonderful people, wonderful food! The Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried rice, and spring rolls were all delicious.
Excellent service and delicious food.
Receptionist can't be ruder at this place. Called to order some food. First 2 times, I heard hello and some statics on the phone. Thought there was some signal or connection issue and tried calling again, to finally hear a guy yelling back: OMG!!! Why you keeping call!!! Phone is not working!!!
Oh, sorry it's your customer'a fault your business phone isn't working? Or their responsibility of knowing? This is the rudest place I have ever known in Miami.
Very authentic Thai flavors! We visited Thailand in Jan 2018 and did cooking class there too. Ask for the Thai style basil chicken. FYI,they are not shy to make a dish Spicy if you ask for it, just be careful!!!
This people is very rude. We ordered using Google Eats and we waited for more than 2 hours. When we called the business to see what happened with the food the guy who answered was so rude. We complained in Uber Eats about how they have this kind of business in their platform. We are not recommend this business because they don’t know anything about customer service. And we don’t understand how the Spice Srimp ceviche has lettuce
Love their curry, great place if you like spicy food.
The WORSE customer service I have ever experienced. If you want people to be rude, this is restaurant for you. RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
This is by far the best Thai in the gables and anywhere close by. The ingredients are very fresh. I never feel heavy after eating here. The Pad woon Sen is my favorite. The beef here is so tender and juicy. The spring rolls are a must. Perfect crunch and so tasty. The Green curry is so satisfying and dont skip out on a side of fried rice for $5. It is soooo goooood! And the staff is so friendly, always with a smile.
Taste was amazing!
Ordered delivery here for the first time during quarantine and I was blown away. The food is delicious; probably the best Thai I’ve had in the US. The Pad Thai, Shrimp Shumai, and Crab Meat Fried Rice are spectacular.
Fast service, great food, reasonable price, big menu, vegetarian options. I had a good experience there!
