I was feeling for something tasty, yummy and different from salads! I was checking restaurants in my area and this place popped up! It was exactly what I was craving!!

I was very tempted to get the pad Thai but the menu hid another gem. I like spicy dishes and the menu had a dish with the magic words “Thai spice”. That lead me to order the Jungle Curry I ordered it with pork and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was yummy, spicy tasty and hit the spot!

Side note I had some left over and added some fried fish to it and that was amazing tooo.

The restaurant was busy and that’s always a good sign. Lots of local patrons there.

I have to point out the young lady that served me was very pleasant and nice. It was so unexpected that it caught me off guard. This is what customer service is supposed to be!!

Update 03/14/2023 - update went back and had another dish Malaysian noodles. I got it thai spice and it was really good. the noodles were well seasoned and they gave me a lot of shrimp. Only comment is I wish the shrimp were cooked with the noodles so they could taste as spicy as the noodles were. Can’t wait to go back again.

Best Thai restaurant we've found in this area. Crispy fried noodles, eggplant tofu, Tom yum, and ALL the curries are SO good. Highly recommend.

We ordered an hour ago and we told that the food will be ready in 20 minutes. When I got here, they said they hadn't made it yet. It is now a half hour later and it is still not out. At this point, I really don't care if it's good or not.

Update 1/29/2025: Service has improved. Prices have increased but so has portions. Best Thai in the area. ...food takes time to prepare as it's all fresh. Recently I went again and they were very much understaffed and overwhelmed. People started getting up and leaving. What a shame

This is our go to restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. We also look forward to eating here. We commonly get the combination fried rice and pad Thai Appetizers here are good on top of the drinks. Customer service is awesome. 5 stars.

Personally, I feel this is one of the best Thai food that I have tasted in this locality. Other than savory food, the food portion is good and the place has good service. The combination fried rice is one favorites at this place. I definitely recommend this place for Thai food on any given day.

The taste, quality, quantity, and service has stayed the same over the years and that is why I keep going back.

I was really looking forward to trying this Thai restaurant, but it turned out to be a letdown. The Tom kha soup and the Tom yum soup were overwhelmingly salty, making it almost inedible. The chicken satay was super small in portions, bland, chewy, and lacked any of the usual peanut flavor, while the udon noodles were completely tasteless and felt like they were thrown together without any seasoning or care.

I come here all the time. Great service, great price and food is consistently good.

Understaffed but the team there still absolutely managed to make everything a great experience! Food was delicious and so many vegan options. I asked for the spiciest possible sauce I could get and it was subpar but won’t knock it down a star for that. I just have high spice tolerance. Menu is very extensive and excited to try other dishes.

The food is consistently top-notch. So good. I tried their eggplant dish, and my mind was blown! Service is amazing as well.

The best fried rice in Broward, hands down! I have never had fried rice so tasty anywhere! I would eat here every day if I could. I went Saturday night with my family for dinner and they kept telling me it's the best fried rice and they were RIGHT! My family is mixed with vegans and non-vegans and we all had several dishes to select from which isn't always the case for my vegan relatives! Our waitress Bee was a pleasant and happy person who made our experience very warm. I plan to go back often. You won't regret it.

Though restaurant is hidden in a stripmall off Sunrise Blvd, its a good place to find. First time here and even though interior is simple food was very good. We had the Ginger Salads which were fresh and crunchy. The Vietnamese Chicken Curry and Sweet Potato Curry. Both were seasoned very well, with the right amount of spice and served hot. For dessert had the Thai Donuts which is always a hit.

The staff is wonderful and fast, best Thai restaurant on earth, go and check them out. And no one is paying me to say these things..

I gave this place a five star when they opened new. I have been going regularly for their vegan options and good Thai food in the area. I recently went there with a friend to introduce her to this place. Food was good but I want to say a few things, I ordered vegan green curry asked them to substitute all the vegetables it comes with to only broccoli the waitress said it’s extra.i said ok but that’s just insane. Never ever was I told that in this place or any other restaurant. Also the waitress never checked on us. Because of her very poor disrespectful service I didn’t give her a good tip. Usually I am a very generous person with my tips to the waiters.I visited last month with my daughter and service has degraded from then.

Visited Thai Meal a couple times. It doesn't look like anything special on the outside but inside the food is terrific. The servers are very friendly. This time, I got chicken panang curry. When asked level of spicy 1 to 5, I said 10. It did not disappoint. Hot enough for some real heat but didn't take away from the flavor. Will be back.

Delicious and exquisite food. I’ve been to many Thai places but this is the top. I don’t know where to begin: I got the vegan buffalo chicken wings 👏🏽 excellent! Spring rolls, ginger salad, and red curry so good! And don’t even get me started on the Thai doughnuts. Service was exemplary and I loved the food so much I kept eating but I didn’t feel bloated and groggy afterwards, I felt satisfied and nourished from within. Gosh I am so happy and I’m so grateful this gem is so close to me. I’m definitely bringing my friends and coming back. *heart eyes for a happy customer.

Yo no kizzy these noodles almost made me cry with the flavoring of the curry. This place is in fact a 10/10 banger very much recommmend.

The Khao Soi was good, very flavorful and beautiful presentation. The papaya salad was basically a carrot salad with papaya. It tasted like picked carrots (sweet & sour) really no other flavors.

Restaurant was clean, lots of parking and good customer service. Overall I’d check it out again for the Khao soi and maybe other dishes.

Penang curry and Massaman curry are perfect. Have tried a dozen places in SoFLo and this is the best tasting and very creamy! Get chicken every time. By default the Massaman comes with sweet potatoes and the Penang comes with string beans. They fit perfectly in these dishes and make them more healthy.

Great place overall. I was greeted with a smile and took a seat. The attendant was very nice. The service is great. The shrimp was awesome. The food was delicious. Don't go to expensive place. This is literally my go to place for lunch. Everything on their menu is very fresh and delicious ! Sometimes I even feel like it’s home cooked food. Definitely recommend the basil delight , pad Thai and miso soup. If you’re feeling a dessert the rice pudding and mango sticky rice is to die for .

Ordered takeout. Crepe and soup. Soup was nicely packed and separated for freshness and was very good when I got home. The crepe on the other hand was nothing like I expected in a crepe. It was thick and seemed like it was fried. It was a lot crispy and was dripping in oil. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but the term crepe did not match my expectations of the dish. The filling was flavorless unless you used the matching sweet sauce which I didn't want to use. It was also dominated by bean sprouts.

Overall I think it must be a pretty good place, but I would stick to traditional dishes and not recommend the crepe.

Very unimaginative if straightforward name that kind of overlooks the fact that this is one of the best and truly authentic Thai restaurants you'll ever dine at... I'd like to see a little more attention to detail in the decor, and maybe some softer lighting, but hey, you go to a restaurant for the food, and here you won't be disappointed! I wish I'd taken photos, but everything was so good we ate it all without thinking about it!

This restaurant was an unexpected delight!
Not only did they have vegetarian options, they had an entire vegan section that was far larger then most restaurants I have ever seen with one.

I decided to try out the eggplant and tofu base on the waitress recommendation, and she was on point!
It was fragrant, lovely to look at and chock full of flavor!

We enjoyed the Singha (Thai beer) along with the tofu satay.
Simply fantastic!
Hope to be back before we go home.

I'm giving a shout out here to a Thai restaurant that can ACTUALLY make something spicy enough to make me happy.

They said the spice level was 1-5. So I asked for a 15. It is HOT, but not too hot that I can't eat it. The best is that they integrated the extra spice into the green curry really well!

9 out of 10 restaurants can't or won't make things spicy enough. I'm happy to say Thai Meal is a huge cut above the rest,

Pretty standard Thai food, which is always something nice to eat. The spice level on the Pad Thai was very mild despite ordering the highest level. Friendly staff. Small restaurant in a bit aggressive plaza. I would go again if I was in the area.

I've ordered from here a few times and I've not been disappointed at all. Food is great and the service (at least from a pick-up perspective) is friendly. Love that they have a heat level to how spicy you want your order (pick 1 to 5). I typically order a 3 and it's a good heat with a lot of flavor. I like spicy food but I think 3 will be my tops, so keep it mind if you are sensitive to heat to be conservative with your choice.

My wife and I get takeout from here a few times per month. There are many things here that we like. However, the best thing, by far, is the Pho. There are so many options to get. The amount of broth and items in the Pho are plentiful. It is always nice and fresh tasting. I edit mine all the time, and they accommodate my tastes perfectly. The Malaysian Noodles are also amazing. You pick your protein and still get delicious Chinese sausage. My wife really likes the Pad Thai and the Thai Iced Tea. I have brought my vegetarian friend here, and she couldn't believe how many choices there were. She really loved her vegetarian Pho!!

Drove 20 mins to pickup a $30 meal of Fresh Roll, Wonton Soup and Shrimp PadThai and was greeted with a Hair Roll. Had the soup and went on to eat roll and was greeted by not one but multiple hair. Contacted Thai meal only to be told sorry and will refund $2.99 in cash since you don’t want credit on your next meal. Why would I order again!

Food is solid, nothing fancy but tasty and the lunch special is reasonable. It is often warm inside and oftentimes at lunch there is only one server but they do well considering the fact that they are understaffed. The curries are good and the Pad Thai is tasty but if you like a little spicy you need to tell them to make it at least medium or it will be a little bland. The soups are great as well.

This restaurant is AMAZING! We were there for the first time this past Saturday. Our server was wonderful, very attentive. She took our orders quickly, noting the SPECIAL requests some of us (me!) had, for no fish sauce or oyster sauce in the stir fry meal I ordered. And the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, with plenty of flavor and heat (I always order THAI HOT spice level)! There was a Lunch Menu price, which we all appreciated greatly. AND the restrooms were very clean, which was also a pleasure. Although we live 97 miles north of this restaurant, we WILL be coming back...it is the best Thai restaurant we've found since we moved here 8 months ago! (Sure wish they would open a 2nd location in Port St Lucie!)

My lunch at Thai Meal was inexpensive but didn’t taste like your average cheap lunch special. For $10.99 I ordered the red curry, which came with a well-portioned mound of white rice. The curry was flavorful with a perfect balance of heat and sweet. The lunch also came with a pinky sized spring roll that’s served with chili sauce.

The restaurant was clean with a nice mixture of tables and booths. Service was great and both employees that I interacted with were extremely nice.

There’s plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.

I was really disappointed, I went there to eat, I had to wait for over 20 mns to be asked what I needed to order, while they were categorizing who to serve. I think type of customer service like that shouldn’t be allowed in this society we are living right now. Everyone should feel comfortable wherever you are.

One of my favorite restaurants, I love their crispy egg noodles! So savory and filling! Service is amazing: servers are kind and quick. Restaurant is clean. Will keep coming back!

I've eaten at this restaurant twice and months in between both visits. Both times I've went the customer service and food have been excellent. I also love how clean it is inside and its quality food. Whoever is training the staff is doing a great job, they need a raise! Its so hard finding good customer service along with good food nowadays. I'm going to start going more often!

Really clean and nice place. I was just looking a place for lunch and I thought to try this one, and I'm glad. I ordered a Duck Curry, and it was soo delicious that I can't help myself until I finished.

I was feeling for something tasty, yummy and different from salads! I was checking restaurants in my area and this place popped up! It was exactly what I was craving!!

I was very tempted to get the pad Thai but the menu hid another gem. I like spicy dishes and the menu had a dish with the magic words “Thai spice”. That lead me to order the Jungle Curry I ordered it with pork and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was yummy, spicy tasty and hit the spot!

Side note I had some left over and added some fried fish to it and that was amazing tooo.

The restaurant was busy and that’s always a good sign. Lots of local patrons there.

I have to point out the young lady that served me was very pleasant and nice. It was so unexpected that it caught me off guard. This is what customer service is supposed to be!!

Update 03/14/2023 - update went back and had another dish Malaysian noodles. I got it thai spice and it was really good. the noodles were well seasoned and they gave me a lot of shrimp. Only comment is I wish the shrimp were cooked with the noodles so they could taste as spicy as the noodles were. Can’t wait to go back again.

We love this place for Thai food cravings. They do the style very well. The people who work here are always cheerful, polite, and attentive.

Absolutely disgusting. Could have gotten a jar of pre-made store bought sauce to smother overcooked noodles and chicken in myself. The wonton soup is complete mushhh and unrecognizable meat, and the best part is it had a single shrimp (allergic)!! Chicken satay was not what I ordered but was also overcooked and dipped in some jar sauce. Overall experience was pure disgust. Will never go back.

Ate here last night for the first time, and LOVED it. Delicious food and very friendly staff. We will definitely come here in the future and also when we have guests.

I had the pleasure of dining at this gem on Saturday. I ordered skewers and pot stickers for appetizers. The Duck Curry and Basil Duck for the main meal. Additionally, I ordered Thai donuts for dessert. For drinks I ordered the Thai tea, and a bottle of sake. Everything we ate was incredible and the service was phenomenal! I highly recommend this place.

Always a delight to dine here. Crazy good deal in this day and age. Authentic flavors with the absolute best staff.

The basil duck does not disappoint! Best duck I have ever had in my entire life!

The food is fresh, and if you love pad see yeu, or panang curry, don’t look further. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely order again.

Excellent VEGAN green curry with tofu. We were not even hungry, but we could not pass this dish up because I have no clue when we will be back to South Florida again.
