Driven by here for years and today I decided to give it a try ..! Got the steamed potstickers and Drunken noodles “medium heat” 1st the potstickers were very bland and they need a better sauce to dip them in .. ! Now the Drunken Noodles had a great taste w/ just enough heat to be enjoyable ..!

I would never eat here or recommend it to anyone. I came here and ordered a variety of things which looked ok visually but made me physically sick.

There were two Asian women working here when we arrived. The one that I have shown in the photo was picking her nose with her bare finger right out in the open for at least two minutes, while the other worker stood right next to her. I could not believe my eyes! I was so grossed out, totally in shock at what I was witnessing and then she went directly into the kitchen, and brought our food to the table - I know she did not wash her hands because it was almost immediate. I Did not even want to eat it - and I did not say anything because I thought if I did, they might try to remake it and spit in it or something even worse.

I would never come back here. I was so grossed out. What waiter picks their nose out in public and thinks that is ok?!? Never again.

Nov. 2024 Update. The best drunken noodle, saucy and flavorful. We got shrimp this time. The tiger steak is good as well. Chicken satay is the best.
Basil fried rice is perfectly seasoned. The basil fried rice is another great dish. The seafood soup is to die for.
Careful if you got medium, spicy! Highly recommended. The service was over the top.all we had to do was look up and they came over. Service charge is added automatically, so you know it was genuinely good service. At least 20 orders to go while we sat there. Heats up perfectly the next day, so it's a double win.
Older post: Amazing food! We stopped in for lunch and fell in love with the decor. Service was simply the best! We asked for our food fast and they delivered! Food within 5 minutes. We have been looking for some amazing Thai in our neighborhood, this is the place. Spicy basil shrimp fried rice. Huge shrimp (not many ) and delicious veggies in this tasty fried rice. Golden fried tilapia with red curry! My tastebuds sang as soon as the red curry hit my tongue! Simply delicious, right balance of sweet, spicy and salt. The veggies in the dish were so delicious enough to stand up on its own. My beef w/ panang curry!! So good. Different than the red curry and rich with flavor. Presentation of food was exceptional. Carrots cut into flowers, shredded veggies that were appetizing. No msg! Rice was a small portion, but the waiter was more than willing to provide more. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I look forward to tasting all of their dishes. Will even review their take out. SO glad we live 10 minutes away!
UPDATE: Been back here again and had the drunken noodles- one of the best i have tasted- noodles are slightly al dente and sooo good, pineapple fried rice (sweet, salty, with the tiniest hint of curry) my picky eater at home loved it. I had the beef panang curry again and it was a little bland, I did add some spices from their spice wheel that helped. The tilapia with red curry is still #1 in flavor. But OMG, Sticky rice and coconut ice cream are to die for!!! I am a chocolate girl and would gladly give that status up for this dessert. Can't wait to save my $$$ to come here again. We went during lunch so no reviews for the dinner experience yet.

They knocked it out of the park. I have a favorite Thai restaurant in new Smyrna Beach however, when I’m in Orlando, I like a variety of different types of food. I finally found the Thai restaurant. I will continue to go to probably once a week now even though I live 70 miles away, good job guys, the Tom-Yum Lemon grass soup is phenomenal, perfect AWESOME!!!!

Been looking for a good Thai restaurant in my area and this place was recommended. Unfortunately, it was the worst Thai food I've ever had. The summer rolls were bloated and the peanut sauce tasted like water. The pad that I ordered was an awful pink color And had little flavor. I don't normally write reviews, but this place was super disappointing and I hope to save someone else from this .

I will never order from this restaurant again. I ordered a to go lunch order online during my lunch hour. After picking up my food I decided to sit down and eat since it was raining outside. I was told that I could not eat the food that I purchased from their establishment in the restaurant and that I had to leave. Poor customer service. Very rude. Got some carry out. Balanced with sprouts and other veg but a little on the sweet side. This was carry out for my kid who was very content.

We have been here 3 times in the past 6 months when we are in the Orlando area. Last time was back to back Friday and Saturday. Hubby always gets Tiger's Tear and it never disappoints. He loves it and we drive out of our way to visit. I've had the green curry, the pineapple red curry and the steak massaman dishes. All were great! Service is amazing and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your food! Will definitely be back when we are in the Orlando area.

Kind staff. Tofu has a wonderful smokey flavor in the drunken noodles. If you like spice, ask for the pepper powder.

I work around the corner and this place hands down has the best Summer Rolls in the area. I have tried several places and nothing compares to Spice Thai. They are always fresh and soft. The peanut sauce is warm and on point.

Dropped into Spice Thai for lunch and was excited to have some good Thai Food. Unfortunately, but thankfully only a few bites into my meal, I discovered a long black hair. Absolutely disgusting. However, I understand that things happen. Once I finally got the waitress's attention, and told her about the hair, she took the plate away without a word. Not a sorry, not a can we offer to remake it for you.... Nothing. Very rude, unapologetic and since I sat down, felt a very unwelcoming atmosphere. I walked out and since it took about 15-20 minutes to get my plate after ordering, I didn't have time to get lunch that day. Had to go back to work hangry.

Chicken was very dry and the noodles in my pad Thai tasted like chemicals.

Delicious tofu Pad Thai!

We have been going to this place 1-2 times a week (each visit spending at least $50) for the last 10 years. The original owners were great people, the food and service was exceptional. They have since changed ownership and the atmosphere is not anywhere near what it used to be.
One staff member is particular is awfully rude and arrogant. There was an initial drop in the food quality, but it has improved (to be fair, the food is actually good). It's a shame that after so many years we will not be going back as it has become extremely unpleasant

Shrimp Pad Thai was fantastic. I chose mild and it was perfect for me.

I just ordered today my favorite dish because my favorite Tai restaurant downtown was not answering the phone. I was disappointed. I got panang chicken and shrimp spicy. I'm big on sauce and it was not up to par. The quantity I received was great but if it would have been more flavorful it would have been my back up spot. To date no one's panang sauce can top my place downtown.

NO TASTE and the food is pure mush (veggies) and the chicken is overcooked (dried up). NEVER AGAIN! I feel so ripped off and foolish for spending almost $30 here. I look forward to my meals each day and this ruined my day in that regard.

This place is consistently excellent. A bit cramped for dine in, but not a huge issue. The food and staff are fantastic. The lunch menu is a tad lacking so I would recomend the dinner menu even at lunch, you have to ask for it however.

I WILL recommend. This is one of the best Thai food restaurants. The food was or tasted fresh and hot. The Drunken noodle and the wonton soup were the best I have tested. Service was the best and they were very friendly. I will go again. Actually I am looking forward to go back. I would have given a 4.5 stars, but the sofa at the very entrance, first impression could benefit from been replaced.

I must say, this restaurant truly offers the finest Thai cuisine in the vicinity. The moment your order is prepared, they promptly serve the piping hot dishes right to your table, which is absolutely impressive! Our culinary journey included a delightful array of dishes such as the Yellow Curry, tofu Phad Thai, spicy Basil Fried Rice, and Phad See U. Each delectable creation left us in a state of pure culinary bliss. No photos on this trip because when I saw the food come out I wasn’t thinking about anything else but eating.

I very seldom write reviews however this is one that should be noted. We were a table of 4 and it was pretty crowed. They brought me the wrong food and we had to ask for the dinner for the 4th person after everyone was served.
But the reason for the review is that they charge 18% service charge for a 4 top and then left room for an additional tip on the receipt. I have never heard for a service charge for 4 persons. So beware!!

Came at 2:05 and they close at 2:30. Told me I couldn’t order and come back at 4:30 when they reopen.

We love Thai food and theirs is some of the best we’ve had. Flavorful and lots of vegetables.

Disappointed that there wasn’t Pepper Steak or Orange chicken on the menu. But what I did order was really good (Tiger steak). Cooked to order, tender and delicious.

The food wasn't bad, but I won't be back because the service was TERRIBLE. The waitress was acting like we were a burden & barley said anything to us. We would ask her for things and she would just walk away not saying anything. There's WAY better Thai places in Orlando, avoid this one.

I do no recommend visiting this place. I placed a to go order with a pad see ew pork with no spice and they made it hot which is inedible for me. And my chicken pad see ew had shrimp tail in the dish and the person who was supposed to eat this was allergic to shellfish. I called to tell them what happened and ask for a refund and they refused saying I was at fault. If you are looking to die from an allergic reaction or have your order messed up with so much spice you can’t eat it then eating here is for you.

One of my favorite Thai spots in Orlando. They have the best pineapple fried rice

The staff are very rude and unfriendly. The staff refuse to give their name so it cannot be provided in reviews. The staff member said "The kitchen stops accepting orders for lunch at 2:30. Can you give me your order?" Mind you, it was 2:10 pm. We felt very rushed and the staff brought food to each individual at drastically different times. This made the lunch experience extremely unpleasaurable as each person of four in the group would finish eating much earlier than the rest sitting at the table. The staff member brought the check and just dropped it in the middle of the table while we (group of 4 ) were eating. Moreover, an 18 percent (service charge) was added. Be careful of this as they still would ask for tip on top of this. The staff would interrupt us while we are talking by saying "watch out!" by rudely interrupting our conversation while bringing food to the table. The 4 of us agreed the staff personality is horrible as we will never give them our business again. I gave them a tip on top of the sneaky service charge because I want the waiter to pay for anger management classes. I'm done with this terrible business structure especially after they raised their prices and decreased their food portions!

This is the best Thai food I have ever had. The food and service was 12/10! We stopped in after a long flight home and were pleasantly surprised how freakin delicious everything was. The servers were very attentive and so kind. You will not be disappointed, I promise you :)

Another loyal customer lost. I read some of the other recent reviews and it seems I’m not the only one that thinks this place has gone downhill. My family and kids use to frequent this Thai restaurant often but have received horrible service the past few times. When I confronted management about it I was mocked and felt like I was being laughed at behind my back. This is not how you treat a familiar and loyal customer. I will not return to this place again.

I’d been going to this place for years and had always loved the food and service until recently. The past few visits I had a new waitress I hadn’t seen before and she must have recently started working here. The service I received from her from the first time she was our server was horrible. From no greeting to rushing us to take our order and throwing the food on our table when ready, I have to say it was by far the worst service I’ve received in a restaurant. The worst part is the tip is often included at this place even when your party is less than 6. Watch out for this as you might end up tipping twice and not realize it as it is only sometimes included and is hidden on the bottom.

I am a person with a disability and they discriminated against me, they did not let me eat in the restaurant because I was accompanied by my service dog, a terrible place that does not deserve to be open.

Oddly I had a really delicious meal... Unfortunately, I thought I tipped well given it was at least 20% or more.... but sadly I was followed out of the restaurant by my waitress asking/yelling why I didn't tip more!!! She looked really angry and was trying to grab me by the arm. I screamed at her so she stopped trying to grab me and ran to my car to get out of there as quick as possible. As I drove off she was still yelling from in front of the restaurant! Was absolutely shocked & completely put off by the lack of customer service and the aggressive nature of this woman ...I will NEVER return & have shared with anyone that asks about that place! I have said to most, go at your own risk of being told your tip isn't enough & possibly having some crazed woman follow you out!... If I could give a zero, I would.

Thai Fried rice and pineapple rice is the best

Super dank vegan sweet and spicy tofu dish. Def recommend for vegans who just landed in Orlando! I asked for extra garlic and extra sauce and got plenty of both. Awesome service even when we came in 30mins before they close.

Great food for reasonable prices! Full sized sake crafe was less than $7! We got vegetarian (tofu) entrees (yellow curry and a pad Thai) and they were super flavorful. Service was good without any delays.

My coworkers and I went there today and all 6 of us really enjoyed the food. They were very friendly, the place was clean, the food was delicious and fresh, and they were very quick. Highly recommend it!

First time having Tai food and I'm sold! Great experience. The place is located in a busy food plaza so it wasn't crazy busy. The service was excellent. The server answered our questions and was able to accommodate our kid's picky taste. They even let us bring some bread from the bakery next door because one of the kids in our party didn't like anything from the menu. The prices were very fair and the portions super big. No one was able to finish their whole plate. I recommend this place without hesitation and I will be back!

We've been eating at Spice Thai since it's initial opening. It's amazing to see how much this local restaurant has grown. It is one of my favorite places to dine and every time I have to pick someone at the airport, it's a good excuse to stop by and eat there. I’m sorry but this is the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The peanut sauce was just melted peanut butter with oil. The curry was practically water and the Thai donuts were overcooked and came with a glaze that hardly tastes like anything but melted sugar. Spend $50 elsewhere honestly. There are plenty more Thai restaurants in Conway that are better and about the same price.

The quality of the food is always consistent, fresh and tasty. Their Thai ice tea is the best. The staff is very nice and helpful.

I've been eating Thai food for 40 years and I can tell you this place is no longer the Thai restaurant I went to 12 months ago. The waiters will insist on the same thing but I will go back to their kitchen and I can cook Thai food closer to what they claim to make. Everything is overly sweet. The Thom Kakai soup is bland and watered down, the other Thom yum soup is just plain sour soup like you would get from a Chinese restaurant. I ordered a pad thai that came as a watery soup noodle and it doesn't look like dry fried noodles. Not sure if they changed the chef or owner but I'm crossing this place off my list of recommendations for locals and visitors. I had brought someone over to impress them with a great Thai restaurant but unfortunately I totally lose face with Spice Thai.

Last but not least, the prices they charge here are ridiculous for their lack of quality and authenticity. I feel sad for the non Asian folks that come here that don't know much about Thai food but you are getting ripped off. I'm sorry for the scathing review but facts are facts.

I would give this place 4.5 stars, but you can't. The staff is pretty friendly, and the food is good. It's not my favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando and I've been to a lot of them, but it's in the top half. But it is the best one within close driving distance. A little pricey IMO too thus why I'm also not giving it 5 stars. I can recommend them as I continue to go back.

Extremely Rude Staff , kids only place !! Firstly after we ordered our food just to be sure they will bring the appetizer first for the kids and not all food together we tried to tell the waitress and she snapped at us saying we are very busy and your food will come when it can in a rude manner. After that Our 1 year old kid was hungry and screeming for the food , as food came he was calming down and eating his food. But the waitress came to us and told us to supervise the kid otherwise leave , and when we told her we are supervising the kid she snapped at us brought our bill and boxes and told us leave. And told us she will put a board outside no kids in her restaurant. I have to say they always do good job with the food but this behavior is not at all acceptable, they made my family feel so uncomfortable and we had to leave our meal half way and pack it so we can eat at home. Worst service ever. Not at all a family dinning place.

Every time I vacay in Orlando, I have to go to Spice Thai. The best Thai food!

I've been to many Thai restaurants, all great some more than others but this one unfortunately is not one of those. I was very disappointed with everything about this particular restaurant, from the service to the actual food. Do not recommend.

We ordered take out, Thai rice, one with chicken, another with just vegetables. Both were good, subtle flavor, not too salty. Fresh vegetables.

Tasty and cheap.

Absolutely not. Ordered drunken noodles and they taste like they were made by someone that has no concept of what the dish is suppose to be. Flavorless. Tastes like it was seasoned with only salt and pepper. Super disappointing. The Thai tea wasn’t even proper prepared. Burnt and overly sweetened.

This is by far the best Thai food in Orlando! You can expect friendly service and a relaxed, clean atmosphere! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I am very picky when it comes to Thai food, and they really hit the mark!

Great fresh and delicious Thai food. Servers were quick and attentive even with many customers. Had their pad Thai and combination green curry. We ended up eating every last bite.

People who run this place are really nice. Large portion, reasonable prices...yes, yes. Thai spice??? not at all. what a disappointment. Bland Bland Bland. I have gone to thai restaurants and I must say, I wasn't at all pleased. Maybe it's because there wasn't enough seasoning. Even if you ask for mild, not too hot, you should be able to taste some seasoning. This meal we ordered was, pork with veggie rice and duck in a sauce. Neither one tasted like what we ordered. Most places we go you can taste the rich spices other than salt and black pepper. And brings out the real flavor of thai. But I must say we were very unhappy with the meal. And for that i gave a 3 star.

If your looking for reasonable price, yes, but if your looking to try real thai food, definitely not.

Excellent variety of delicious starters and entrees! We had green curry beef and drunken noodles chicken along with some Singha and waters. Finished off with the coconut ice cream with sticky rice. The meals were delicious! Service and staff were great and attentive. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience!

The Tom Kha soup with shrimp was excellent. I also got the green curry with shrimp and that curry dish was even better and could be one of the best I have ever had. Give this place a try, very authentic Thai food.

Peter and rest of staff were extremely attentive and caring. They even switched out a meal for me and brought us back a dessert at the end. The food was amazing and the service superb! Thank you Spice Thai!!!
