Pop Thai on Mills Avenue is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food? Incredible. I had the cashew chicken, and my wife went with the sweet-and-sour shrimp—both were bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the balance of spices was just right. The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even better. This spot is officially on our must-visit list whenever we’re in the area. Can’t wait to come back!
This place has really good food! We started with the house wings which were amazing! For my main dish I had the dragon roll, the presentation of the dish was spectacular. My friend got the spider roll and her plate had a spider web on the side. My favorite thing I got was the Thai tea, i loved it so much I got one Togo.
Since I no longer work on this side of town, it has been a while since I visited, I made a lunch stop to enjoy the beef panang ($19). Once more, it was absolutely delicious to enjoy it with plenty of beef, tasty veggies, and a serving of white rice to soak up all the curry. There were a few other patrons, but it was a quiet setting. Everyone was enjoying their meals. I wanted to try for a dessert, but my meal filled me up too much.
Service was great! Almost too great 😅 The soup salad + dumplings add on to the lunch combo was amazing. I was slightly disappointed in my pad Thai, but it’s been so long since I’ve had it in general. They have nice portions though! The sauce just wasn’t for me, but my man scarfed down his Thai chili jam. We went in there Friday lunch & it was very chill.
Rude staff.

Best Thai restaurant in Orlando
Good pad Thai I had in a long time I love the service the rice was put on a heart shaped I will be coming back
Pineapple duck and shrimp padthai are very good.

Non spicy food
I love Thai food and have eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants over the years. This was the best Thai meal I've ever had. I had the Noodles N' Brussels with Shimp. The caramelized brussel sprouts were delicious, the sauce was so good that I asked for the recipe, and overall flavors/taste was outanding. Hubby had the coconut brisket, which he also said was great. The cocktails were also yummy. Sadly, I am from out of town or I would eat here again and again!
Delicious tom yum and fried rice.. definitely recommend..
Nice place for a pleasant dinner and they're also great for takeout. Their vegan Panang is delicious.
I have to say, I'm a Northern Italian who is used to top notch European food, I generally do not care for Asian food, but this place was a rather pleasant surprise! Great food, flavor, fresh, savory ingredients, great service and attentiveness, I will definitely come back!
My family and I were very hungry before night. We decided to stop by this place. Their food is sooo good. It was fresh and tasty! We will definitely come back!
The best pad Thai !! It was 10/10 definitively recommend and they accommodate any preferences you might have
Excellent curry and an attentive, wonderful waitress
We ready enjoyed our meals.
Outside looks run down... No worries... Inside is just perfect... Enjoy
Food was alright
So fresh, flavorful, great portions, reasonably priced.....definitely going back for more
Extremely slow, unfriendly host
Delicious drunken noodles
Best Thai food and very friendly staff
Great food! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
Food was a bit bland. Service was good, but the place is one big bright room with a bunch of tables/chairs. Considerably casual.
Great place. Great food. Great service. I don't eat Thai very often and was not sure what to get but the waitress recommended a dish and it was delicious. I will be coming back here to try more. Thanks for the great experience!
Pop Thai has a warm and inviting ambience. The food is always fresh, delicious and adjusted as per your spice level preference. Highly recommend this place if you're craving delicious Thai food in the heart of Orlando.
Amazing sushi, and Thai food! The service was awesome too! This is our new favorite place!
always great experience no matter when you go... food never disappoints always great.. and the Wonton soup is a must...
If you want good food and service this is the spot. I couldn’t have asked for a better roasted Duck I will be coming back many man more times. Beware tho they only offer sushi on the weekends. Friday and Saturdays.
This place is so good. We had the Pad Thai, Salmon Panang Curry, and the chicken coconut soup (I forget the name)... Everything was amazing!
Its our second time there and my kids loveit! We came for Mothers Day and today for Father's Day!!! Amazing again!!! I tried a tea today. It was refreshing! Thanks to all that made it happen and all the hard work!
One of the better places for Thai food around. The portions definitely got smaller especially with the roti and curry sauce. Service is great.
I went here with the group of friends and everyone was satisfied with everything👍🏽👍🏽
What a great restaurant l! I enjoy d the curry, their chef has to be the best in Florida, I enjoyed it so much, thank you for the effort put to presentation in the meals too! ❤️
We were in the area for a doctor appointment. I was looking for another nearby restaurant, but there was no parking. I started just to head home, and saw a parking space in front of Pop Thai, so we pulled in. We were early for lunch, and this obviously popular spot continued to fill up. We had fried rice and red curry, both excellent, really glad we took the combo, which added wonderful fried pot stickers, great soup, and a salad. Great lunch! 42$ with a diet coke and iced tea before tip. Very clean and nice, friendly staff.
The ebi rolls were fresh and tasty. The pad Thai was a little too sweet, without any peanuttiness, but otherwise decent.
Limited beer and wine selection. It’s not a standout, necessarily, but I’d eat here again and try something more interesting on the menu.
Food was delicious 👌👌
The good was amazing. I had the green curry with chicken. So delicious with every bite.
Do not order this food unless you are in the restaurant and can complain in person. We used Uber eats and not one person in our family can eat this food. And we normally love Thai food.
Very reasonably priced for the area. The staff was super friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Was extremely impressed with the service. The food was good. The restaurant is spacious and clean. You'll get more food for your buck compared to other restaurants on Mills. Definitely will be back.
Ordered drunken rice take out. Large portion, and delicious. Only negative, it was listed as spicy, which I like, and there was no spice at all. Service was friendly and fast. Recommend if you remind them to add spice to something that is listed as spicy
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I could! My experience was so great. I went with a party of 10 and they were able to accommodate us for lunch. We had some folks with allergies at the table and they announced if any of the dishes ordered had allergens. The food is FRESH and comes out pretty fast. The wings are a must have. The fried rice is tasty, I loved the pad see ew. I usually take photos of food but we ate it so fast we didn’t have a chance to stop for photos. This place has a little something for everyone. The server and everyone at the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot, this will be my go to Thai spot going forward 😊
We came here on a Saturday, they have a full menu it was good, but during the week for lunch it was a limited menu.
Pad thai was just bland, they forgot the spice. I ordered the vegetable with brown sauce with Tofu it was horrible. This restaurant is number one in Orlando for Thai. I think there is a better place.I also think during lunch time the chef is not so good.
I won't be coming This rating is Orlando standards not mine
Great food! Excellent sushi
The chicken fried rice was amazing and the portion was very generous! Great service too!
excellent quality and service!
Food was plainly bad. Pod Thai was horrible, I can't describe it any other way. Roti was greasy and definitely not made to order. Tom Yum soup broth was good but the rest of ingredients were cheapest possible. Waitresses looked like they don't want to be there either. Worst culinary experience in a long time. Restaurant lost it's identity trying to breach Thai and Japanese cuisine. Place was nice and clean but everything else was waste of time and money.
Delicious food and good service
In the middle of Mills Lane's hustle and bustle, you'll find Pop Thai, a restaurant serving real Thai cuisine with flavors straight out of the Thai kitchen. Pop Thai Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Steamed Dumplings, and Roti Curry were just a few of the delectable dishes that showcased Pop Thai's culinary artistry over a recent early dinner.
The food was delicious with every bite, and we were transfixed. Complete silemce at thbtable says something. Although the restaurant's seats offered a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle outside, finding a parking spot at this popular spot was only a small inconvenience. Our server June's contagious energy—on her birthday, no less—made the service even more memorable, enhancing an already wonderful meal to a whole new level.
If you're looking for authentic Thai food with a soul, Pop Thai is a must-visit restaurant.
This place has really good food! We started with the house wings which were amazing! For my main dish I had the dragon roll, the presentation of the dish was spectacular. My friend got the spider roll and her plate had a spider web on the side. My favorite thing I got was the Thai tea, i loved it so much I got one Togo.
Awsome food and atmosphère love the chicken wonton soup... Thank goodness I dont live close by food took me back to my visit to Thailand
We love this place. Your sushi is fresh, and served properly. That was our appetizer. For our meals, we split the house fried rice, drunken noodles, and veggie stir fry, with shrimp, and served with a side if rice. Everything comes out of the kitchen hot, and presented very nicely. We decided, your sushi is the winner, here, though!
Great food and service!
Sooooooo good!
Drunken noodles very good here.
Great service, fast Cook and tasty dishes, all fresh and hot 🔥.
Small, well run, established Thai restaurant! The food and service were great!
I've never had better drunken noodles than at this spot. Incredibly delicious noodles in general, and while the food lacked any kind of heat, this was easily remedied by asking for hot sauce and peppers. Go bless your mouth
We arrived at 2:43pm and the Asian lady was about to seat usbut the white girl server interrupted and told us they close at 3 and can only do a take out. Are you kidding me? And a manager is no where to be found. First-Watch closes at 2:30pm and they accept customers even a minute after their closing time and so do many other restaurants. But we weren't even late. Almost 20 minutes before closing time, like come on, bro. They need to properly staff a manager or some sort of higher figure so the servers don't run the restaurant how ever they like.
The salmon salad and sushi were excellent.
This place never disappoints me! The sushi is exceptional...Interesting ,always fresh, and exciting ! You won't regret eating here! XOXO
The food in this place was amazing!!! Thank you!
Fun restaurant with very tasty food.
Exceptional Service and Exceptional Food always! Great Restaurant!
It's ok.
Everything is very good
We were vacationing from Virginia and stopped by after a day at the science museum and before heading to the airport. I’m always a bit hesitant to try new Thai restaurants but this place did not disappoint! We ordered Pop Thai rice, beef fried rice, chicken satay and sticky rice for my picky daughter and a no-veggie Pad-Se-Ew for my picky son. We didn’t leave a grain of rice or noodle on those plates! Everything was absolutely delicious! And the service was super quick too. We were in and out in 30 minutes and with plenty of time to get to the airport with no rush. Loved this restaurant and will pin it for the next time we are in town.
Great food and great service. The restaurant has been updated since the featured 3D tour and it’s very nice and cozy inside. It’s harder to find good places when you go out to eat these days due to shrinkflation in portion sizes and cutting costs everywhere but pop Thai was great. Would return!
Excellent service, great atmosphere, and 5 star food!
This Thai restaurant is a fantastic value!
Good food and service. Decent prices.
So delicious!! Genuinely the best food I’ve had out in a long time, it was worth every penny. The servers were very nice and helpful as well. I got the garlic pepper chicken, you get to choose the level of spiciness which is nice!
Good: spring rolls and miso soup.
Bad: Thai food. ( meat of you're choice boiled in watery bland sauce of you're choice.) Unremarkable in all ways.
They were on point... the service was so fast and good was so good! They make Chick-fil-A look unorganized
10/10 delicious
Used to love this place and originally had a 5 star review but recently they’ve gone downhill. We got a meal with friends during happy hour and clarified multiple times that this was happy hour. We didn’t realize this about the check in the moment but they charged us for our friends drinks and charged us the non happy hour rate. Once we realized we went back to fix the problem, every normal place I’ve ever been to justs fixes the problem, but they refused saying that we need to bring our friend back to pay for the drink. That it would short them money. That’s YOUR mistake we don’t have to take responsibility for your mistake. You also screwed over our budget. I’ve NEVER had a business respond like that to their mistake, that’s a new low. We used to eat there often but they’ve lost our business and recommendations.
Mouthwatering food.
Very authentic cuisine and great service. I had the pleasure of dining with friends who are originally from Thailand, so having their reccomendations and feedback on what to order simply solidified how legitmate Pop Thai is.
We will be returning soon!
My friend and I had a early small dinner here before heading to Leu Gardens for the Jazz in the Park event. We stopped in as Hawkers ( my favorite ) was very busy and the wait to get seated was too long as we were in a time crunch. My friend had a thai tea ( soo soo good) and the sampler app ( A ) that came with spring rolls/ veggie wonton/ and coconut shrimps - I also had this combo along with a very good wonton soup- it was just what we needed. The flavor was so good the fried stuff tasted like it was fried in good oil. It filled us up and left us happy and ready for our event. I will def be returning here soon when im in the area.
Pretty nice place and decent food. Service was great also!
Ordered takeout, really good Thai food. I got the mild beef pad Thai, snd it was just right. The only thing is their to go plastic wear is really cheap... broke my spork and had to eat with my fingers.
I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional Thai restaurant and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to Thailand with its charming decor and warm lighting. The menu offered a diverse range of authentic Thai dishes bursting with flavors that were an absolute treat for my taste buds. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. It's an unforgettable culinary journey that I can't wait to embark on again!
Amazing sushi. Seriously amazing. Loved the music too.
It had been on my to try list in the Mills area and since I was close I decided to stop by.
I was excited since I like Thai food but it feel short :(
The girl that took me to the table was nice and attentive, but my server not so much. It seems that she was annoyed that she had to take my table for 1.
I ordered the drunken noodles and unfortunately these were salty, did not tasty like basil and it did not have enough chicken for a basic portion.
I don't think I will come back, since the flavor was not there for me.
Really good Thai in one of Orlando's coolest neighborhoods. Love this place.
Food was yummy, restaurant was clean, service was quick and friendly, prices reasonable. We will be back when we're in the area.
Casual and clean. Server was a little inattentive. Vegan tofu pad Thai was good but was a little heavy on the oil, light on tamarind, and no basil. That being said, the veggies were fresh, not frozen and the noodles were cooked just right.
Great place for lunch or casual get together.
I tried this place for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint. We had the Pop Thai fried rice, fried cream cheese wonton, Thai crackle shrimp, tofu panang curry, pad se-ew, tamago nigiri, and unagi nigiri. All of the food was good, except I don’t think the fried cream cheese wonton actually had shrimp in it although it’s supposed to. The Pop Thai fried rice had a lot of lump crab meat, and shrimp. I got it medium, so it had a nice kick to it. It was delicious! The Thai crackle shrimp was crispy and good. Unfortunately the shrimp did have tails on them. The fried cream cheese wonton was good, except for the lack of shrimp. The tofu panang curry was good and had a nice kick to it, although it wasn’t very hot for how Thai hot should be, but honestly I haven’t been to a place where Thai hot is too hot for me, and I don’t have much spice tolerance. The pad se-ew, and both nigiris were good. I definitely want to come back and try some other dishes.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Bonus points for ample parking.
You need to try the fried shrimps. Amazing.
The best Thai restaurant ever. The food is exquisite, and the service is second to none.
I decided not to take my phone into the restaurant so no pictures on this review… sorry but I will say pop Thai has a nice, warm and welcoming feeling when you enter. They were very attentive to us and reminded us the kitchen was closing in case we wanted to order anymore food or desert which I thought was very thoughtful. I has the Stars and Stripes roll and the JB roll. I didn’t like the taste of warm cream cheese on the JB roll. I know it was a fried roll but I guess having hot cream cheese was an afterthought. The stars and strips was very tasty except they didn’t leave the tuna nice square pieces. They beat the tuna here. When I say that I mean they cut it and cut it and chop it until it’s mush. I feel that it takes the integrity away from the fish and doesn’t taste the same. The appetizer combo A was delicious and the mango sake was perfect. #tryit
Update: pop Thai is doing great. I had the Stars and Stripes again and my boyfriend told me I didn’t complain about the mushy tuna. It was good. This time we had the fried gyozas which where delicious and not greasy. My boyfriend ordered the drunken rice and omg…. Delicious!!!! I couldn’t pin what I was tasting. Maybe mint leaves or ginger but it wasn’t like this greasy nasty rice I usually get from my local Asian place. The meat was tender, the peppers were cooked but still crunchy. Which was great cause who like mushy peppers! #musttry
Very friendly staff, great food, great prices, and everything is super clean.
Thank you everyone!
I believe they don’t have sushi on Tuesdays (understandable, but we selected the place to have a little bit of sushi plus Thai food)
Absolutely delicious and great vegan options! The yellow curry is the best
The food is very nice, the service was great and fast. We will be back.
Delicious food and good service
Way too expensive
Alway fresh, quality, delicious food with great service. Never disappoints!
First time there but definitely not my last time, great food
Been going here for years now. We love it every time. Great food and spot for Thai food. Sushi is pretty good as well, but I'd definitely recommend the Thai food over it.
Food and service were great, especially the yellow curry that was so good that my wife and I ate my son's lunch!
Prices are higher than normal for Thai food but we'll worth it.
Highly recommended.
I ordered the lunch special shrimp and veggies with white rice it was good but the brown sauce was a little bland for my liking. But the mango sticky rice was AMAZING!
Excellent Pad Thai!
Delicious!
Great Thai Tea! Didn't eat but all the food smelled good and I'm pleased by the Thai Tea!
I love the fried-rice it’s fantastic
Sushi and particularly the Nigiri is amazing! They also have lots of Thai foods (duh). Had the TumYum soup and the salmon salad. All good.
I went to Pop Thai for Sunday lunch, and the experience was really enjoyable. They have a really nice hot ginger tea, as well as other hot teas and the standard sodas. We tried the spring rolls and the ebi roll- spring rolls were really hot and crunchy like they'd just come out of the frier, and the ebi roll was really tasty and fresh, with a nice crunch from all the veggies. We ordered some sushi rolls, a red shrimp curry, a Thai paradise (fried fish with green curry), and a salmon and avocado salad. The presentation on all of the dishes was beautiful, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The shrimp were great because they weren't over cooked, and were quite juicy.
I would definitely come back here, although if you're looking for really authentically spicy Thai food, you'll have to specify that you want the heat - otherwise I would say the dishes are definitely adapted for western tastes/palates. They do have different heat levels, so you can ask for something spicier, so it's a great option if you're going with a group of people of varied taste buds since you should be able to ask them to adapt the dishes accordingly.
The staff were really kind, and they checked up on us and cleared plates we left to the corner of the table. We didn't try any desserts this time, but their list looked interesting, and I would like to try their mango sticky rice next time (although that is seasonal, so it's not always available).
Delicious Thai food!
Friendly staff, clean place, AND FOOD WAS PHENOMENONAL 💖🥰 Had jalapeno rolls and Thai paradise plate (snapper fillet). Well worth it!!!
One of my go to restaurants :)
One of the best Thai restaurants I have been too. It's all good. Try the sticky rice.
Incredibly fresh and flavorful food! Beautiful ambience, very good service and great prices. You couldn't ask for anything more. Come here unwind and enjoy 🪷
Food has definitely improved here and it’s one of our favorites now.
Amazing place for Thai food. Customer service is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Will definately come back.
Great appetizers and great service. The Pad Thai and beef noodles weren't good.
