Surprisingly good Thai restaurant, several dishes we ordered taste great, such as curry fish (tilapia), crisp duck, etc, all in decent portion for an adult. Waiter recommended chef's special (Tani angels?) also taste great, scallops and seafood are flavorful, tender and juicy, amazing! I will surely revisit next time I pass by. Highly recommend.

A family neighborhood Thai restaurant that also offers some popular Japanese dishes. The service is warm and attentive. But they stay busy without much time to interact with customers. The food was excellent! While the prices were a little high, I think it was still worth it. Almost all the customers were non-Asian. Many of them seemed to be regulars. Nice atmosphere but nothing exciting.

Appetizer was good, chicken skewer. The duck curry was tasty and the food was in a large portion. The curry with pork was so-so. I picked the one not that spicy (forgot the name). Broccoli and chicken was basically okay. Nice environment though.

Had an amazing dinner here. My wife and I split the massaman curry and Pad Thai noodles. We ended up mixing the massaman sauce into the noddles and it was 🔥🔥🔥

Tani Thai has a robot to take orders from the kitchen to the front, but can't build a working website that allows you to order and pay online.

It must be incredibly hard to do, since only 99.5% of Chinese/Thai restaurants in the world have mastered the challenge.

Good food and service won’t disappoint

This is hands down my number one favorite Thai restaurant in Miami. They hit the mark every single time on the taste, quality and amount of food they serve. Taste is always 10/10. I have eaten so much Thai food in my life, that if the flavors are off even by a bit, I can taste it. I always order either the Vegetable pad Thai or the Vege Fried Rice. I also order a Thai tea, as it’s my favorite drink on the planet, and this place gets it right 10/10 times.

Tani Thai is EXCEPTIONAL!!! The staff knows who you are after being there once or twice and treat you like you're one of their own. The food is phenomenal and makes you want to keep coming back for more, proving to the point because we've been coming here for 22yrs!!!

Passing through, had an amazing red curry lunch special that included soup and spring roll. Even better with a gorgeous jug of Thai iced coffee! Will make a point of coming back.

Aside from all the food being absolute delicious and amazing lunch menu prices, the fried ice cream was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious.

We were craving Thai food but we wanted the best and googled the one with the most reviews and took a risk.

Upon entering you were greeted with a warm welcome and being vegetarian and having allergies Noi, helped us and was so patient taking our orders.

The food was AMAZING everything, the BEST taste freshness and everything ordered was on point as we ordered. All I can say is wow, a must when visiting Miami again.

Noi, you treated us as if we were in your home, we will never forget this warm and inviting experience. Thank you so much.

I had not here for roughly 12 years and remember it being fairly decent. However, I returned this past weekend and can honestly recommend you to stay away from this establishment. I am currently recovering from food poisoning and am feeling miserable. I don’t usually write reviews but feel it was important to inform the public about this place. The 12 years have obviously taken its toll on the restaurant and requires a complete overhaul of the facility.

I love Tani Thai. We have been going there for many, many years! Everything is yummy!

Used to be a great restaurant with great food before Rin purchased it. She is running it into the ground. Portions have been getting smaller since the day she took over and the quality of the food has gotten worse. Really too bad.

Terrible experience. Air conditioning was broken they had portable fans instead. I normally order the chicken pineapple curry with a 2 for spicy. When I tried my food it was extremely spicy. I advised the waitress that I couldn’t eat it because it was to spicy for me. She didn’t retrieve it or replace it for a new order. I left without eating and she charged me for the food. I advised the gentleman at the register what had happened and he didn’t care. Been coming to this restaurant for the past 13 years but won’t be coming back.

Got the Panang Curry (chicken) tonight! Sooooo good! I could (and did) eat that sauce with a spoon! My husband had sushi and enjoyed it very much. We will be back! Our server was excellent and kind! She heard about my allergy and knew what I should not order! Much appreciated!!

Everything on the menu is delicious but if there's one thing that blow my mind it would have to be the curry fried rice! The Thai coffee is yummy too and the staff is very friendly, the portions are made to share and the prices are fair in comparison to the quality of the food.

Among the best quality Thai food in the area. Very good service as well. Since they changed ownership, they've upped their lunch game too: Try their exceptional masaman curry chicken...lunches now come with a spring roll, soup and rice (at least just before COVID-19 they did).

Unfortunately not very good if you’re looking for authentic Thai food. Pretty bland and the soup I got tasted like it was definitely half American. They also didn’t give jasmine rice. I lived in Thailand for six months and traveled there multiple times. Very disappointing

The chicken satay and the dragon roll were pretty good, flavorful chicken, nice presentation. I ordered take out food the sushi was fresh and food was warm. I recommend this establishment.

Very disappointed with this place. WASTE of TIME & MONEY!!! Lack of quality of service is evident from the long time they took to ask for water or any beverages after entering. We waited for 20 minutes just for the waiter to arrive and ask for our order. It wasn’t even busy at that time. Also even after the order was taken by the waitress she didn’t gave us what we had actually ordered. The excuse which she gave was totally lame that she thought we had ordered the fish which she had PRESUMED!! Man, how can you be so careless with your customers?? It was her duty to cross check what we had ordered n what she had noted down was correct. But she didn’t do that!! That’s why in the bill when we saw it improper we called her n asked why she gave us the wrong fish? N all she kept on giving lame excuses. Very BAD ATTITUDE and SERVICE! Pricing of menu NOT WORTH the quality!!!

Ordered two soups today. A Shrimp soup and a King soup. The shrimp soup came with one shrimp. One. We spent $6.00 for a cup of broth and one shrimp. The King soup also came with one shrimp, one scallop, and one piece of squid. Seriously? How cheap can you people be? We will not be ordering from them again.

I've been to a lot of that restaurants in my life and this one seems really genuine. The art and decor seems very authentic. I feel like I could all any of the staff about it and they would know. They also have a sushi bar here. I came for the pad that and ended up having a very lovely conversation with the host. This is a solid restaurant and I recommend it

This place was always pricey but at least it was good, tasty and better than average quality. Since they changed owners & remodeled it has become a disaster. The last 3 times I have taken out I had to call at least five times to get someone to pick up the phone and they are rude and act like they are doing you a favor for picking up and taking your order. The food has gone down it quality and taste a lot. Definitely sad to see a restaurant which I loved go so wrong and so BAD. No more Cocky Bob for me because is disgusting now and they got rid of one of the simplest dish ever Mee Crob. Total disappointment, I'm done with them.

I bought a number of selections from the menu. They all tasted par to sub par. Ok fine. But my problem is that I paid almost 70 dollars for 2 soups, a salad(which was just a bowl of lettuce), combination rice, and a beef entree with rice. The soups were small maybe had 2 shrimp juice and a few sliced mushrooms. The beef entree wasn’t even enough to fill my husband up who is an average man. I called and told them I was unhappy and they said “ok well.” No...I’m sorry, let’s see how we can fix this. Nothing! Just overall very unsatisfied. I’ll never eat here again!

Hello, so after being a customer of this establishment for many years I went last night with some friends expecting to have a fabulous meal as I always used to have. As it turns out it seems to be that there are new owners. They were clearly understaffed and the staff they did have were not only unattentive but when I asked for more water, I was literally turned away from and walked away from right in the middle of me asking. Extremely rude and unacceptable. The food was not as good the service was absolutely horrible. You never wait until the end of the meal to ask somebody whether they need something or how everything is. For all of you people out there who don't know, a wait staff should come back to your table anywhere between 2 to 3 minutes after you start your meal and make sure that you don't need anything and ask you how everything is. I was extremely disappointed and probably will not go back to this restaurant.

Lunch service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. This may be because there were only two servers. Although the decor is lovely, the ambience wasn’t relaxing because the two servers were frantically running around sighing, answering phones, and calling out to each other across the dining room. No one checked on me the entire time to see if I needed anything or refill drinks. Was basically seated and forgotten. Food was okay, but not worth the wait.

So far best Thai Restaurant in Miami. Surprisingly in Pinecrest. It's very family oriented. Basil Chicken, their chicken fried rice, and volcano chicken is made perfect every time we've gone. Thai tea is great. Beers cold.
