Serving delicious Asian cuisine for over 26 years.
The quality of this sushi is simply one word WOW.
The restaurant has a very fun atmosphere, dim lighting, good music, and colorful; I came here on a random night with friends and think it'd be a great birthday dinner spot. The service was spectacular, very quick and tentative ensuring that our table was clean and that no used plates/ utensils were in the way. I ordered the Kitti Roll and it was unlike any other roll i've had, there was a smokey flavor with a slight kick of spice absolutely phenomenal. My friends had ordered the Florida Gator Roll and the Sunshine Roll, all three rolls tasted fresh and unique.
Overall 10/10 experience, highly recommend to anyone interested in asian cuisine!
Amazing unexpected authentic Asian restaurant. The rolls are great quality and fairly priced. Great chill mom and pop vibe. Like the atmosphere, service was great, food didn't disappoint. We will definitely return. No need to drive to downtown area to get same quality right next to the house.
The food was surprisingly good for a strip mall restaurant. We ordered some pad Thai, bbq ribs as well as sushi. The flavors hit the spot for sure.
Our only complaint and recommendation is faster service - we waited a long time (15-20min) for our food even tho we were the only people in the restaurant. The kitchen needs to be staffed better.
So the food here is good, nothing out of this world but good. Service is iffy. I've emailed them multiple times asking what the correct hours are because there were numerous times we've TRIED to visit here and it's completely closed. They said they were closed for a week on renovations, I told them ok but I tried a month ago and then they said well scheduling is hard so some days we can't open. Whatever, understandable, I guess. The other night though, we arrive at 9. They close at 10? There's workers inside waving bye to us. So I email them again saying we were trying to have dinner there and were waved off. This was their response.... Mind you we've been there enough times to know that door is not difficult at all to open, and even if it was, why just let customers walk away if they're "struggling with the door" we stayed right outside the door at our car (in sight of them) for about 5 minutes while we figured somewhere else to eat, no one ever came and opened this "difficult door" for us. Anyways VERY VERY unprofessional and even when u do dine in the wait time can sometimes be a bit long because they have the same one person cooking the food and serving the tables (we've conversated with our server about this before). So either call and confirm before u show up cause google operation times are all a lie for this place, or just go somewhere more reliable.
Visited this afternoon during their soft opening event. I was solo, but was pleased to be greeted by their welcoming staff members. The place is cozy inside, however, the restaurant feels chic, with cool murals, and umbrellas adorning every inch of wall and ceiling space. I tried a few small plates and took two entrees home. I would definitely visit again with a few of my friends because this place seems like a gem!
This restaurant provided amazing service and a wonderful ambiance. The food was excellent. It had the perfect touch to everything. 10/10 recommend to everyone. I will definitely be coming back.
Terrible Service. Terrible pad thai, good sushi. We got there and the waitress had an attitude problem. We wanted to order drinks and she said our IDs were fake(they are not), then we asked her to scan it and she said they don’t have any scanners and said “If the cops catch you with this you could be on trouble”, what? My id is real! 💀 I showed 3 documents confirming my DOB and she still refused. Ok. We ignored this and ordered our food. Ordered 2 lemonades and the waitress came back with only 1, then I asked her to bring me another one and she would give me attitude. The Pad Thai dish came in and it was inmeadiatly off, it smelled like dog food and tasted really bad. We just could not eat that. The overall experience was terrible and not worth the price since it is also a little expensive.
Overpriced not enough portions
The absolute best

Not sure if they are under new management or what. This place used to be our go to place! Special fried rice was not what it used to be, Pad Thai mmmm not so much, portions down and pricing up….like most places. Time to find a new spot 🥺
Absolutely adorable place. Beautiful umbrella display that they have. Will take pics when I return. All the food we ordered was fresh and delicious. We didn’t even have leftovers. Truly a must eat place. Omg and now they will start serving pho. I’m not sure what it is but I am really curious to try.
The ambiance is such a vibe, Instagram worthy. Adam the owner and all of his staff treats his customers like family. You can tell that the food is made with love. I must admit that I eat here at least twice a week!! I highly recommend the sunshine roll I am addicted.
Kam Wow is hands down the best sushi restaurant in the west Kendall area. The food is fresh, and never disappoints… you can tell quality is a priority. Family owned and run, not your typical commercial/ franchise sushi restaurant. The ambiance, music and service is excellent. My family and I have been coming here for years, and we’ve only had an excellent experience every time. Highly recommend both dine in and take out. There’s no other place I’ll eat sushi from.
Amazing place. Amazing quality of sushi. Can't get enough of this small place. It's hard to pick what to eat next.

Nice date spot, chill environment and nice decoration. Paid $50 for 3 dishes and they were slapping
Don’t know what happened to this place. It used to have fantastic food. No longer. High prices, sushi falls apart and the portions are half the size they used to be. Peanuts for the pad thai were stale. Stay away. I will miss the old Kamwah.
Hours are wrong
Went to this place some time ago, expecting not much, but I ended up finding my fav sushi spot, the ambiance is cool, the food is amaziiiiiiiiing, me and my girl love to go to different places down here but since finding this place, every-time we are looking for food, we trust Kam Wow for it

Honestly not sure how I’m just finding this place, 4th time in 2 weeks and I love the fresh food and ambiance! Each dish gets better and better! Keep up the good work! 🤤
Great thai restaurant, kind staff, tasty food. I like the pad Thai here!
Amazing unexpected authentic Asian restaurant. The rolls are great quality and fairly priced. Great chill mom and pop vibe. Like the atmosphere, service was great, food didn't disappoint. We will definitely return. No need to drive to downtown area to get same quality right next to the house.
Kamwow is a gem!! My wife and I have now made it a staple to return to for delicious Asian cuisine, wide range of diverse dishes. I’m a creature of habit and normally stick to the same dishes but I always find myself trying new things at KAMWOW cause everything is sooo good!! The restaurant itself has such nice vibes and the staff is also so pleasant, it feels like extended family now. I rarely write reviews as you can see but when I find a place like this, it’s a must!
I love their rolls! Unique and tasty. I wish them the best and hope to see them expand into a larger space. Will definitely continue supporting this restaurant.
Great food!
Will definitely be back
5 stars for sure
Love this place!
Will definitely be back
Great food.
5 stars for sure
This place is awesome!
It's a delight to the eye as soon as you walk in (so cool looking) and the food is AMAZING!
Great variety of sushi rolls, and Sake. (The sparkling pink one is my favorite!) Lots of different dishes to choose from. Great for date night or just grabbing a couple drinks with friends.
The staff is cool too. Very down to earth and accommodating.
Great place!
So yummy!
10 out of 10
Apparently, this rest. Has been here a while, but I just recently stumbled upon it, and I have to say that I’m glad I did. The food is great. It’s fresh and feels just right. It doesn’t seem like they’re trying to pretend they make the sushi and other asian platters that are more on the American side of an Asian dish. It feels more authentic and dedicated. Hands down the best Asian Japanese and Thai I’ve had in the West Miami area, basically from a square of Flagler and 107 Ave to Miller and 152 ave. I used to drive all the way to Wynwood for sushi. This place has saved me from that drive. I come in or order out at least once per week (at least). Great job Chefs.
Amazing, loved it. From the tuna tacos & tuna on fire rolls to hobey garlic chicken & curry noodles, everything was magnificent, and the crepe cake is to die for. Very highly recommend this hidden gem.
Excellent delicious freshly made foods . Great customer service ! Thank you !
amazing here, if you want a relaxing atmosphere, and want your taste to go on a journey of sweet, savory flavors
We loved it here and will absolutely be back! Our server was Adam and he was very kind and attentive! We had the Tuna Crispy Rice, 2 sushi rolls (Amazing Roll was 🔥and Smokey and Bandit was also 👌🏽) and the Thai donuts 😋 everything was deeeeelicious! We went on Thirsty Thursday and beers, sake, and wine were half off. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor was beautiful. They have a rewards system & we can't wait to come back to try more menu items we had our eye on. Thanks for a great Thursday night dinner!
This place is amazing! Best Thai food and Sushi at the best prices. They have happy hour prices everyday from 4-7pm, can’t beat that! My favorites are the Pad Thai, Volcano Chicken (they light it on fire at the table) Crunchy Tuna Roll, Smokey & the Bandit roll. The dessert selection is also great, my favorite is the crepe cake with ube ice cream. I recommend this place to everyone since I’ve been coming here for years. Never disappoints. They also just renovated the place and it is beautiful, a must try for sure!!
AMAZING RESTUARANT! from the food to the service... top knotch. truly love going to this restaurant cause the food is so good! i look forward to going with my family on 20% tuesdays and enjoying the every day happy hour :)
Can go either way
Guaranteed fresh Chinese rice
Ribs were sitting under a lamp cus there were lukewarm when I was munching.
Pretty expensive considering the quantity over quality.
Great food in a mom and pop restaurant.
Will definitely be back!
Awesome place and amazing food. Heaven and Hell sauce was incredible!
We recently visited this place and were pleasantly surprised, from the food, to the service, and everything in between. We had delicious starters, Sushi, Ramen soup, Pad Thai and were fortunate to enjoy their fried Ube Ice Cream. Definitely will be back.
Wanted some take out Asian food and decided to order from here. Even though it’s been here for a while and we see it every time we come to this shopping center we have never eaten the food from here. Much to our surprise when we started to eat the food at home my wife and I were amazed on how good the food as! We will be eating at the restaurant in the future. Place looked clean and the food was awesome. Had the staple…special fried rice, spring rolls and the crab wontons which were amazing!!
Best Customer service to go with the fantastic food🥢🥢
Nice
First time in KamWow and loved it!
Very tranquil place with good music.
beef pad thai was absolutely delicious!
Great atmosphere great service great food!!
Best sushi on earth..... I love this place.... EVERYTHING is amazing!!!!!!!
It's always delicious, haven't been here in a while but have been dying to visit again which I finally did last night. Missed it so much, so definitely be back real soon.
One of the cutest most creative designs I've ever seen for a restaurant. Super friendly staff. The red curry was super delicious despite not being spicy at all. Probably flavored for a western palette since I wasn't asked for a spiciness level?
I loved it and I will be returning soon!
The food was amazing and the service there top notch. Definitely going to be a regular here!
Visited this afternoon during their soft opening event. I was solo, but was pleased to be greeted by their welcoming staff members. This place is awesome!!!
Simply the best sushi in Miami hands down at any price. Try the smokey and the bandit roll. You will be back I promise
Their fried rice and spring rolls are the besttt. Also the pad thai and the volcano chicken!!! Such good food and really reasonable prices. Love this place!
Delicious and fresh food, cheap but good sake, and a beautiful environment with great service. Truly a hidden gem.
Muy buena la atención y su comida
Kam wah more like Kam Wow!!! Super Good food and our server Adam is the best we will definitely become regulars
Best and freshest sushi ever!
The best sushi you find here. My favorite is Awesome roll and house special fried rice.
La comida es super deliciosa
Best sushi in town....
This place was recommended by my boss. The food is amazing, great staff and ambiance. Has to be the best Asian food I've had ... just went back this weekend
We seriously loved this place. We stopped here unplanned, based on Yelp reviews for a nearby sushi spot. It did not disappoint! We started with Fried Gioza and Tuna Tataki, and also had the Red Dragon Roll and Dragon Roll. The Server, who may or may not have been the Owner, was funny and personable. The food arrived quickly, and disappeared off our plates even faster.🤤 Don’t let the exterior fool you, go inside and check it out! We will definitely be back.
This place is absolute garbage. All the food was burnt and tasted like nothing it had no flavor at all. It even smelled weird inside the place . This Place is the worst Chinese food in prolly all of Miami
I absolutely love this restaurant! Food is mouth watering and stuff is amazing.
The guy that makes sushi. Does not wear gloves.
Foods the best. Great family owned business. Food is awesome.
Delicious
BEST SUSHI IN THE WHOLE MIAMI!!!! It’s liteRally a hidden gem!!!
Perfecto riquísimo
Exelente
Great place, wonderful food!
Excellent and fresh every time
Good food service could de slightly better
Wow! This is a hidden gem. Place is small, quiet, and food is delicious. I’m amazed they aren’t always packed. Food portions are huge and you definitely get your money’s worth. I will absolutely be coming back.
Great place for Tai food
All around good food. Take out portions are large.
This place is a gem. It’s hole in the wall, and usually very quiet. Take a date there so you can experience some good food by a real sushi chef and keep them in business!!!
I've been going to this place for almost 10 years now. The service and food have always been amazing! Great little gem.
Great food and service..AAA
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. They have a diverse menu with Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes as well as unique sushi rolls. We had the "awesome"roll and it lived up to the name. We also ordered the volcano chicken and shrimp curry, both of which were delicious and hearty portions. We took some of the volcano chicken home and the server packed it up for us and gave us some extra rice to take home. All in all, great food, great service.
Fresh sushi and tempura. Excellent food. Dark beer with good sushi is always good.
Is a sushi wasn't that good it was already soggy by the time I got home 10 minutes away plus they want to nickel-and-dime you for condiments saying no the roll already has eel sauce not any that I could taste how much would have preferred the extra distance and go to Fuji Hana on Kendall Drive last time coming to this hole-in-the-wall place
Service was fast with friendly waiter!
Good and berry nice atmosphere
Take out is in plastic containers. Let me know if this changes.
Excellent food and service.
Great food and I ordered it to go. People have to try this place out.
Great service and food and never any wait
Everything is good here. I like the thai rice, volcano sushi, fried rice and chicken pad thai.
Wow! This is a hidden treasure on Bird Road and 129th. My first time there and I had some of the best sushi I've had since moving to Miami. We had escolar sashimi, escolar is hard to find and this alone would be worth the visit. We also tried 4 of the rolls and none were disappointing. The awesome roll was unique and the tuna on fire was a heat lovers dream choice.
Muy bueno siempre rico
The Buddha Delight was awesome! Very attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere and the background music was great!
Exceptional food and very attentive waiters. They work together le a well oiled machine. The food presentation was easy above average especially when they light it on fire right in front of your face. Oh by the way yet thre volcano chicken. Is lit... literally. Def would recommend to a friend.
Delicious and very cozy place....
I absolutely adore this place the food, the staff, and the atmosphere is so very welcoming!!!! coming to this restaurant comes to mind FIRST & ALWAYS when I have a day off from work , or even a simple date night!!! The food is always fresh, great sashimi, and delicious pad thai!!Whoever owns kam wah keep up the good work, I give you high praise and I applaud you ! 👍
First and foremost this place is a hidden gem the price is reasonable and the sashimi is great!!!! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Just because you are a paying customer does not mean you should lack patience , manners , and understanding. They are people who are trying to make a living and have lives ( to the reviews with the insensitive remarks and lack of consideration.) This place is family oriented not a drive thru!! I have been a customer here for over 3 years now, and I recommend this place with confidence.
Pad thai was wonderful highly recommend the curry too
Also they will make the sushi how you want it to order
I love coming here (both for sitting-in and take-out). It's a great place with great food. The sushi is very good and fresh. Small place, but it's got that nice neighborhood feel to it. I've been coming here for many years and I will continue to.
Bad bad bad
87 AVE at 8 st location is better 👌
Friendly staff
Great Thai food and great service.
My first time in these place. Food delicioso customer service excellent really recommend.
Carlos gave good service and constant attention to the tables he was serving. The food was to die for and the atmosphere of the restaurant was appealing. The menu prices were very reasonable.
The food was amazing! Decided to change try something different and I’m glad we did. Found this place on google and it is right in the corner from my house. Poor lady was alone tonight as was the sushi chef, but they did an excellent job on service with the limited man power they had. I will definitely be coming here again to enjoy their amazing sushi.
Great quality sushi and good service. I went when it was slow they took good care of me the server, but the owner not so much. First time eating sushi in miami, even through this is my home florida. I like this place alot, but One thing i didnt like was how expensive the sides were i asked for a little masago and they charged me 3 dollars!! Crazy. I told the owner but he was like thats how it has been for 20 years. Place is expensive!!!!
We eat from Kam Wah all the time. Love to dine in but the take out is just as also me. Great for family as there are his friendly.
Delicious food and friendly services
Perfect place for you and your family to enjoy the delicious food and a friendly service. Thanks to Kam Wah sushi chefs who prepared our meals. It looked amazing and tastes great! Would recommend this place to my friends.
I've been coming here for almost 10 years and the food is always consistent and good. The service is good as well, keep in mind there's usually one one server. And the owner is into the 80s music. Don't want to mess with the boss lol
I am responding to the rude waitress. Please tell the truth if you would like to post something about the restaurant and make it personal. You came into the restaurant 15 minutes before we close. FYI we spend from morning till night, six days a week working all day. So please forgive us if we cannot let you dine 15 minutes before we close. We have been here for 20 years and always maintained our integrity. And like most locations there is a minimum of ten dollars for credit card purchase and yes we charge for homemade sauces which is posted in front of the cash register. You did not want to pay so you took out the sauce yourself. Thank you for your time.
Horrible experience got there 15 minutes before they closed, they didn't want to sit us, waitress was super rude, so I had to order to go, when I asked for spicy mayo after I paid she wanted to charge me a slimy two dollars and since I didn't have cash only a card she took my spicy mayo back! Unbelievable! Seriously you're gonna make a customer dissatisfied over spicy mayo!!!! I was a regular till now. Very disappointed!
I'm windering why this place is not talked about. My son and I had dinner here tonight. The restaurant is small and hidden in a plaza where not too many people drive into. When you go inside it has beautiful artwork and decor from Thailand, China, and Japan. It has a little area where you can eat on cushions or choose to eat at a regular table or the sushi bar. They play 80's music (not sure why). The food is good and priced just right for the servings they give. The woman who attended us was great. I will definitely be returning.
Clean. Good service. Tom kha Kai soup was not good. But the sashimi was good. Music was some 80s rock which I thought was comical. My husband not so much I guess it doesn't go with the theme.
The staff here are really nice and helpful. But the curry was the blandest curry I've ever had in other words it's meant for people not aquatinted with the culture and don't know how these dishes should taste.
Great food great customer service... the food taste like a home cooked meal.❤️❤️❤️❤️ it👍🏻
Have been coming here for a year or so. Today a ordered for take out and was told 35 min. It's been an hour and I haven't gotten a reason for the delay, even less an apology. You just lost a customer. Farewell kam wah
Excellent place, attention, and one of the best sushi 🍣 I ever had eaten. I will go back for sure, totally recommended.
Tiny sushi restaurant located right off a main road and in a shopping mall, that is the only downside that can be said about this place. The sushi is delicious and is moderately priced, and the place is pristine so I feel pretty good about eating here. They also have unfiltered saki!! Also try the fried rice, it is off their Chinese food menu but it is most definitely worth it.
Been coming here for years. Excellent service. Family owned. Owner is the Sushi Chef. Quality is the best I ever had. Also does amazing Chinese and Thai food. Must try the tuna tartare its Amazing........
Best combination of food and service! Choose from Thai, Japanese and Chinese all in one place. I frequent there about 2 to 3 times a month!
Best place for sushi I love the California roll and ebi shrimp the best it's a must
I loved it. I had the fried rice. Wanton soup and egg roll. It was delicious
The food is very well made, it tasted delicious. We had the Chinese special fried rice, lean Rangoon, fried wonton, pad Thai, lo mein with chicken, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp tempura (which was cooked perfect) with spicy mayo, tempura veggies, Thai salad with peanut dressing, wonton soup, fried cheesecake, ice cream sundae and Thai donuts. Definitely going to visit again. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. The price is fair and the quality of the food is amazing.
Very good food. Kind of expensive though.
The best Thai restaurant.
