Completely underrated Thai restaurant!!!

This used to be my favorite lunch spot when I used to work close to this area. The lunch menu deal is great!

Now after almost 8 years I came back out of nostalgia and not much has changed, especially the food, which of course is good news!

I came back to try again the Chicken Pad Thai for lunch. It was a Saturday and there were only a few tables. Not busy at all, but I noticed a lot of take out orders.

The service is amazing. It is a local joint and they took care of me immediately. I knew what I was going to order, so I placed it almost immediately. After 15 minutes, the Pad Thai arrived. I don’t think any picture will make justice to this dish. Perfectly cooked noodles combined with fresh vegetables and flavorful sauces and condiments. A complete delight. The portion would be enough even to share.

I am glad to see that the restaurant maintains its foundation and that they still are cooking amazing food Thai Food. I noticed the prices are a bit higher, but still, $17 for a great Pad Thai in Miami, I am not sure if you can find it anywhere else!

I went here to check out the Curry or Rice Noodle Dishes. I checked out the menu and saw they had salmon curry. This was a yellow curry I ordered that and I ordered some summer roll. I like he Rice wrap rolls better than the fried rolls. The yellow curry tasted very well. The meal was good. I do recommend

Very authentic Thai restaurant, have travelled the world eating Thai food as it's my wife's favourite cuisine and this restaurant by far in the top! Testament that the restaurant is always very busy. Catered for allergies really well too. Gluten free, vegan. Able to cater to soy allergy too.

I really enjoy writing reviews because I myself use them to find new places. That is how I found this place. The restaurant is unassuming with traditional Thai decor.

I sat down and ordered the pork Pad Gra Pow with a fried egg on top. After ordering the owner saw me watching Mark Weins on my phone and we started talking about Thailand. I love the food of the Thai countryside and the overall variety of their cuisine. She was super nice and very welcoming.

The food came and it was very good. The sauce and meat were very flavorful with that nice basil taste I love. The egg was done right and was nice and runny. Portions are ample so come hungry.

It is a spot worth checking out if in the area. I look forward to trying other dishes while on this work trip.

I was very disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered a noodles dish and saw like 25 onions, 20 tofu and 5 noodles. Then the prices were horrible for the small food portion. After paying almost $55 for three dishes one including 6 pieces of tofu for 7.50
I was then bullied into giving a 18% tip. I won't recommend this restaurant or be going back.

We really like the Pad Thai, one of the best I’ve tried in Doral. The service is not the best, only one person serves all the tables and the atmosphere does not offer the best comfort. There is good parking and the food does not take long to come out.

Honestly one of the worst costumer services of my life. The owner lady was extremely rude (not allowing us to order the dishes before the drinks, being cranky and condescending when we ordered chopsticks.. to the point of telling my sister to “leave right away” after paying the bill). Do not recommend, go anywhere else and you’ll be better off.

I have loved this place since I was a little kid and the food still holds up to this day. The spring rolls are deliciously crispy and light and the chicken pad thai was perfect. I like to add a little bit of their peanut sauce to my pad thai, which was also really great on the thai salad.

Best authentic Thai food in the area for sure!

I was disappointed in the Panang Chicken curry, it was just blah. I am used to it having Thai Basil and jalapeños and a real depth of flavor. It was ok.

I ordered specifically two different dishes and when we went to pick up, they tried to convince my husband that we ordered two red curries (after confirming with me over the phone several times that it was one green curry w/broccolli). my green curry had more cabbage and other veg than brocolli. One stalk of broccolli in a mix of cabbage and things I DID NOT REQUEST.

I get it. I'm pregnant but when I ask for something specifically and it is NOT what I requested, I will get upset. I gave this place a chance over my regular (who has no problem getting my order right) based on reviews but I am not going back. Sorry, not for me.

(I gave my curry to my husband after one bite because the cabbage completely ruined the meal)

After a long absence, I was finally able to return and... I was away too long.

This is still the BEST Thai food in the city, no question. After all this time, they are even better.

Having tried a large portion of the menu, my family and I haven't had a bad dish yet. (Thai Tea is amazing!)

They are also great on heat control, so if you like it wild or mild... they got you.

Ordered delivery and it came up as pick up. Already charged my account. Never recieved my food and they said there was nothing they could do. No refund, nothing

VEGETARIANS/VEGANS BEWARE!! I called the owner of the restaurant and asked if she puts fish sauce on the vegetarian items and the owner of the restaurant did tell me that she puts fish sauce without people knowing on a dish that is considered "vegetarian." There are people with meat/fish allergies and the owner wouldn't care if she sent someone to the hospital.

You can't trust any restaurant, it's better to make your own food.

The food we ordered was the coconut shrimp, vegetable fried rice, spring rolls, red curry chicken dish which had such a detrimental impact on our health that my brother and I developed severe food poisoning, necessitating an emergency visit to the hospital for 2 days. Our condition deteriorated significantly after consuming the meal, requiring medical attention that extended throughout the entire following 2 day.

This incident was not only alarming but also profoundly unsettling for us, as it resulted in a severe health crisis. Our intention in sharing this experience is to alert potential diners to the potential risks associated with dining at this establishment. Exercise caution if you choose to dine here, as our unfortunate experience serves as a cautionary tale.

Missing Royal Thai in Doral

Dinning area was a bit too dark for me. But luckily I ordered takeout. Food was good and lunch special is a great value.

The lady running the place was capable and quick with service. The food was palatable, I had steamed tofu green curry, which was hot and medium spice but lacked many vegetables. The edamame was okay. The vegetarian spring rolls were soggy inside like the microwave variety from the store.

This is my favorite thai restaurant in Miami. The price is unbeatable and fair. The food is fantastic with so much flavor.

You can’t go wrong with any of the lunch specials. My usuals are chicken pad thai, red curry with chicken, tiger tear, or summer roll. The drunken noodles are also very flavorful.

The portion size is great and reasonably priced.

I’ve gotten takeout from here a few times and it’s quickly become my new favorite Thai spot next to Lung Yai. The green curry is unreal and packs the perfect amount of spice with the creamy coconut flavor. I get it every time! This place also has some of the better pad see ew dishes. So so good!

I tried this place for the first time yesterday as I was looking for local Thai restaurants and this was conveniently the closest to me. I ordered takeout and it was hot and fresh when I came to pickup. The Thai iced tea was delicious and overall the food was really good. I tried the pad Thai with tofu and krab Rangoons. The only thing I didn’t love was the sauce that came with it as it was slightly different than what I’m used to but other than that everything was great! I love the lunch special options and tried the curry on there also, it was delicious. Def will be coming back

Had a very bad experience with Soup I am fond of .. that is Tom kha soup .. it was over sweet and more than required tangy .. and had no chicken or vegetables in it .. it was expensive and totally not worth it !
Won't order again .. I wonder how they get 4+ ratings .. 🤔 .. Couldn't even finish it !

The Tomyum soup is a bit more sour than expected. Satay chickens need to be more tasty. Pad Thai and papaya salad are good. Overall recommended

This spot is more for the executive lunch crowd, a lot of regulars, nearby workers, bla bla bla... The place is clean, but not a date night spot, unless you are taking the wife, then who cares....

Oroginal...Amazing Thai/Asian food. Quality is A+. All the dishes are delicious and can not go wrong. This place is very affordable, it should actually be more expensive. Service is not great, because somedays it gets very busy,but the servers are extremely nice and polite.

Best restaurant in Doral for a week lunch

Best Thai in Miami, maybe even the best place to eat period. I probably go once a week since I discovered it.

We enjoyed dinner here tonight! We had the shrimp pad thai and the basil fried rice with all the meats and it was delicious. There was plenty of parking and the hostess was quite pleasant. The place was exceptionally clean, quiet, and there was plenty of parking. Perfect spot!!

Waste of money. Never would eat here again. Ordered the Tom Yum seafood which had too much fish sauce and was watered down. Normally it should be a mix of spicy and sour. Also had the Pad Ke Mow, no flavor either. It was just a lot of black soy sauce on it. My sister ordered the Som Thum (papaya salad) it came with sliced beef and sticky rice. The papaya was horrible. It was almost like a slaw that goes on a Bah Mi sandwich. And the lady gave regular rice and said it was sticky rice which it was not.

The duck noodle soup is always my go to especially when the sniffles hit. My first time visiting I thought the atmosphere was a bit cozy albeit tight. But the food was amazing with the perfect level of spice that I love. I will definitely visit again/recommend to others. Also can you guys add shrimp gyoza cuz not everyone eats pork lol and I love shrimp gyoza.

This was our second time ordering delivery and everything was just as good as the first time. The Thai food in the Keys doesn't come close. Delicious, everything came as ordered, and the value and convenience are 5 star.

What thai restaurant doesn't offer miso soup? Also the pad thai was pretty bland. Never again...

I love the Lunch special which comes with the soup of the day and a delicious crispy spring roll.

But, what I really come here is to get their curry chicken dish with white rice.

The service has always been top notch and you get an authentic Tai food.

Finally, a legit Thai place in Florida that won't give me anything but incredible Thai food. As soon as I pulled up to the strip mall under the highway I had a good feeling. Between the loving energy of the woman at the front, I'm sure she is the owner, to the spicy, punchy, funky flavors that I love about Thai food, this place is absolutely the real deal. Sit down, drink a beer, and watch the rain pour outside while you eat a big bowl of homemade soup. I got the pork tom yum medium spicy. It wasn't a medium spicy that made me sweat a little between my eyes but I was fine with the spice level. Very balanced, very tasty.

Always awesome food!! Have been going to Doral Thai since it was located in Miami Springs with my little girls. One server would always aske me where my girls were when they were in college. Now they are adults, one married, and we still go together as a family. Many special moments both sad and joyful were shared during massaman curry and pepper steak meals. Thank you Doral Thai for your great food and consistency!

The food was great, the coconut shrimp was awesome but the summer rolls were okay, I'm used to having it served with the peanut sauce but the sweet sauce wasn't very good. The pad tai was great and the mixed seafood soup was okay because 65% was Veggies while the rest was fish but it is was tasty.

Not authentic thai, not good, no utensils, not welcoming (very not thai). I'm so hungry. I only ate a chicken sandwich all day. It's 830 pm now and i'm going to bed hungry. 1 shrimp to scallops and a whole load of krabmeat. Flavor is very superficial and soup is not at all made well. Will eat some 2 day old publix bread I purchased 1000 miles away.

They desperately need help at the kitchen and serving for lunch! With Jackson Memorial Hospital West opening within walking distance, their lunch hour crowds have dramatically increased and so is the wait. Over one hour to get our food :(

This place was delicious! This place is located right on 79th avenue and about 29th street in Doral. This is right around the corner from the new Jackson Memorial Hospital West. Great food at great prices. This place is going to get very busy once the hospital opens at the end of July. I had the Pad Thai chicken. Ordered it medium spicy and my mouth was burning by the end of the dish. Very delicious noodles. Will definitely be coming here more often. One thing to look forward when I have to visit the new Jackson.

One of the best places to eat in/around Doral. And if you are vegetarian, missing Panang Curry with Tofu will be a sin. I could never find such a tasty curry anywhere else. Go for it...
