Informal choice offering traditional Thai favorites & sushi in a simple, industrial-chic setting.
Went here with a group of 8. The food and service was excellent. We went at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday so it was very slow.
I ordered the small sashimi platter (14 pieces for $24). I also ordered a green papaya salad for the table. Some tried it who had never had it before and they loved it. My friends ordered the ginger chicken, the red curry chicken, the mushroom and chicken soup, and the dragon roll. Everyone ate every bite. It was excellent.
I would definitely go back again. Very reasonable prices and excellent food.
Lovely little gem of a restaurant across from The Falls. I enjoyed the green curry with chicken and brown rice (my choice) along with the spicy soup and spring roll for lunch. Hit the spot. I will come again.
Well this nice little restaurant his well lit well maintained the only thing is when I ordered the pad thai the noodles were a little hard.. the pickle chicken was still a little pink and almost burnt they really should consider taking that off the menu now that was horrible. There were some other problems with my guest lunch but I guess they can tell their own with you they own story best for me this is what was happening for me
It was late and the other restaurants around had long wait times. We actually went in just because we saw not too many people inside. We should have just went here first. The food was good. My son's and grandson got different types of sushi and enjoyed it. I got the gang dang curry which was flavorful. I ordered the spring rolls also. I would definitely go back. Prices were reasonably compared to other Thai restaurants. We got our order fast but I feel if more people were there it would have taken longer. I recommend but just have patience your order may take a little longer but it is worth the wait. I will go back again.
Decent Thai food - many menu options but flavors aren't as noticiable in some dishes. Could hardly taste anything in the pad see ew with pork, but noodles were cooked well. Service could be improved - When I called, the person answered with "hello," I had to ask if I called the right place before placing my pick up order. When my partner picked up the food he had to call me to verify the order because they didn't write my name down fully.

Great food that’s fresh and authentic. Love this place
Very nice Checken Pad Tahi!
Ever since my and my family first came to eat here, I also waited for the moment we would eat here again, even though the inside of the restaurant is not what you would really expect a restaurant to look like, the food really makes up for it.
Food Is great and tasty reminds me of Korea when I went over seas in the military

Great place close to home! Vegan options available.
I frequently go to this establishment; one of my favorite places to eat out. Any dish with the Basil rice is Fantastic!
Second time here in the last four months. The first time was much better food quality and service. This time there was only one server working during lunch and she was so busy our order wasn't correct. She eventually corrected some of the issues but the food was definitely off. All three of us left with uneaten food and unsatisfied. Maybe they have new Management? Also the cook was different because all the food was bland except the Shoyu Ramen which was pretty decent. I doubt we will be back though.
Best noodle soup in town.
We went for the lunch special. The curry was excellent. We loved the rolls. The coconut soup was my favorite.
I love the fried rice there it is an easy and quick restaurant .I would definitely recommend, 7/10
The food is great, it's one of our go to places for Thai food. The server Golf gives great service.

I ordered sushi takeout and some cooked food for the rest of my family. It was delicious and ready right on time.
Delicious authentic thai food
Staff is very attentive, Pad Gra Praw and Drunken Noodles were great!
December 16, 2023- My family and I ordered our food as soon as we arrived at 7:10 pm and there were only 3 families in each table and we are the 4th one. Then it got busy and part of our order was delivered at 8:10 exactly an hour after the intial order. The waitress said she forgot yo put in our order. The remaining order was not ready yet. Unacceptable!!! But the other people around us who dine in late got their order first!! Really Unacceptable!! Next time please train your waitress properly. When getting the order, she needs to bring a notepad so she doesnt forgret her customer’s order!
Everything we tried was so good. We tried the spicy edamame (WOW), hamachi jalapeño, pad-see-ew, and steamed and fried veggie gyoza and all were all top notch. Service was above and beyond excellent, and the atmosphere is clean, calming and aesthetically pleasing! 10/10 would go again and highly recommend!
Kamazaki Roll! Wow this is amazing love love love
The food is so fresh and so delicious, even my grandsonz gave it a 10 out of 10.👏🤍 Reasonably priced. The place is so clean, the service is prompt, the staff are kind and amicable. I definitely recommend it.
the sushi is always fresh!! so good
I only tried takeout for this visit but the food was delicious. The pad woon sen was well flavored and they were not stingy on the meat. The Tom kha Gai was not watery and perfectly flavored. I will definitely order again and hope to dine in next time so I can share pictures.
Love their JB tempura roll and coconut rice highly recommend
Thai lunch menu is great. Staff is amazing. Consistently tasty!
If you don’t know about this place you SHOULD!!!! This is the best authentic Thai place in all of Miami. A GEM!!! I wish I had found it sooner. Not only is the food delicious the service is impeccable!!!! I felt the need to share this place with all of Miami. 😃😃
Food is delicious. Really good seafood soup, chicken pad thai, shrimp tempura roll, yellow chicken curry, and the best Chai tea I've ever had! Golf was our server and she was also great! 10/10. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
I dont understand how this place is so quiet. The food is amazing!!! There were even some hidden surprises in the menu. Items that are not commonly found in mainstream Thai restaurants. Bonus: Our waitress was super sweet and it felt like I was being served by my auntie.
And I agree with Ryan (previous comment) Kao soy was the best-So good that we ordered an extra one to take home to my dad (at home going World Cup Crazy)
The best Thai food I have ever had, highly recommend the curry puffs appetizer. The entree I had was the red curry with chicken and it was very delicious and spicy. Thai tea and Thai coffee is really good and sweet. Service was very good. They have a variety of dishes even some Japanese dishes if your not of a fan of spicy food, they have sushi, chicken katsu and a variety of other things.
My sister went here 2 days ago and the food was absolutely amazing we could not stop talking about it all day you need to try this so much food at good prices for lunch special it's amazing the food is worth it and their server was amazing as well we'll definitely come again
Great, attentive service. We started with the coconut chicken soup, which was flavorful but a bit watered-down. Then we had the curry puffs, which were just okay. Next was the massaman curry, and it was very good.
Food is good.
Horrible. The coconut soup was watered down. The massaman curry had no meat and was also watery. Ordered a volcano roll and received a California roll covered spicy mayonnaise. Finally this lunch for two was over $70.
The staff is very friendly, I've been there twice. The sushi is really really good. The location is pretty small but it's got a cozy atmosphere.
Food was very good until about 2 months ago.SERVICE NOW IS TERRIBLE, THE MAN THAT WORKS THERE IS RUDE AND GETS ORDERS WRONG.
Lovely food, good helpings, good spacious venue. I enjoyed the Thai food. The waiter was a true gent 🙏, thank you
After 6 months living in Palmetto Bay and having tried a lot of very average so called Thai restaurants (every time too sweet), we finally found a place cooking real Thai food like home (could be quite spicy). I am not Thai but my wife is and I have been living 20 years in Asia so I know what Thai food is supposed to taste. Highly recommended. One remark though: don’t be in rush as the service can be a bit slow.
If I could put no stars sadly I would have. Instead of letting the clients know that the chefs were out they had the manger making the dishes with is super inappropriate. The dishes were horrible, And I’m not trying to be a mean client I feel super bad as I write this because the place looked clean and nice and the waiters were nice but I. won’t be coming back sucks cause I love Thai food.
Chana used to be our go-to local restaurant. Then, service started lagging and food would take for ever to be served when the place only had two or three tables. The reason? Take out. It clogged their only sushi chef. This is fine given current circumstances but every time we’ve ordered take out, the portions are tiny compared to the actual dishes at the restaurant and some orders always come with mistakes. So, great food at site if you have the patience, or settle for small portions at a $$ if you take out. Wish they went back to how it used to be when they started.
I stopped here for a quick afternoon snack, it had just opened. Extremely sterile ambiance: Cold, white, tile floor, plain table and chairs, stainless steel shelving TO GO unit right by the door, prominently displayed. I ordered the spicy shrimp soup, because the waiter assured me it was NOT spicy, however it was EXTREMELY spicy, so the broth was wasted and there were rubbery, OVERcooked shrimp in the soup. I had also ordered the dumplings, which arrived looking oddly bright yellow, unappetizing, misshapen, flaccid, and UNDERcooked. I ate one and immediately sent the dish back, because it was as terrible as it looked, and then they had the nerve to decide "if they would charge me for it!" (How rude!) Altogether I spent $10, for just the soup and a $2 tip. I don't mind paying a lot, and will heavily tip, if the food and service warrant it, but CHANA THAI KITCHEN is so very underwhelming, I doubt it will even be here by the end of the year. Bring in some color, some pleasant music, some pretty rugs, Thai decor, a server who doesn't hover, and a chef who can properly heat food, then there's hope. Otherwise, this place is done for.
My wife & I tried this place hidden in a strip shopping center in the Falls. We were very pleased. Reasonable prices and the service was excellent. Our waiter Anthony recommended a combination of both Thai & Japanese menu items and they were excellent. The sushi rolls here are awesome. The place was super clean, nice atmosphere and prices were very reasonable. Thanks
Wife and I had two curry dishes at $15 each, $8 appetizer and $18 for three domestic beers and the bill came to $59 with tax. My wife was hunting for the chicken in her curry, which was lacking.. She was disappointed. The prices are slightly higher than I am used to especially when a 12 oz bottle of Coors Light is $6 and they are stingy on the chicken portions.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It's a small place with about 10 tables . Its clean with nice decor and the staff is great. The food was very delicious. I'd definitely recommend. 👍👍
This place has such delicious food - can't wait to go again! Restaurant is a nice place to eat, relaxed, staff very nice - loved it.
Go here regularly always great fresh food and excellent service thanks again
Bad customer service. Seems like they haven’t been able to bounce back after the pandemic.
Absolutely love this place. Excellent!! The food and service was excellent. We ordered a variety of Thai and Japanese appetizers, entrees, hot sake, beer, and to go items. Everything was beautifully plated and the to go curries and rolls were still perfect by the time we got home. The place has the perfect casual vibe and is extremely clean. We will definitely be going back soon. Thank you ChanaThai Kitchen you are awesome.
We where sad after they closed during the pandemic because it was our little place for Sushi and we went often and always had a wonderful time. So happy they reopen that we went back right away and glad to be able to support our cozy Sushi place. Great food, great service and very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
The service is great and the food just excellent. This is my second time there and I will keep going back. Looking forward to our next visit.
Great place for thai food
This place has horrible customer service .The manager Pok is the must unprofessional manager of any restaurant I have ever visited as well as the waiters. The pickup time is an hour and half and they gave me the wrong order and they told me 20mins over the phone. They had a line of customers waiting and complaning over their orders and they didn't even care. The manager was hiding in the kitchen and she didn't even have the guts to attend to her customers. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Tasty food. Great service.
Went there for dinner. Had been there many times. We have spent a lot of money there. We ordered an appetiser among many other dishes. One of the apps tasted fishy. We told the waitress and she removed the plate. When we got the bill we asked if they would please take this off the bill. The waitress came back and apologized and stated that the manager said since we ate half we must pay. Lol 😂 that was fine we told her but we will never return
Our go-to sushi/Thai place
The best!
This place is a ripoff. We ordered pad Thai it came out to 15 and change for horrible pad Thai. It had no sauce no flavor but very salty 🤢 it was bad plus waited a half hour just for that. You can go to eighth Street at the Asian kitchen 2 and buy pad Thai For 11$ And it’s delicious 😋 I WONT BE COMING BACK HERE.
It was just OK
This place is nothing short of amazing. My only hesitation in writing this review is that you’d find out how good it is.
This part of the my review is posted a couple years after the first. Although Chana’s food is still amazing, the service needs some serious improvement. Expect very slow service and complete abandonment at times! We used to go there at least once a week, but it is such a long process that we’ve had to scale back.
I had the lunch special, which was good but not great. I loved the soup and salad, but my meal was a bit too salty for my taste. It was for $15, so I cannot really complain.
Regular
Delicious food and I love the Thai lunch special. The Tom Kha Gai soup and papaya salad are to die for! Sushi is great too you won't be disappointed with anything you order.
Nice place, good food and the staff is very friendly
I’m obsessed with this place. I think it should have better reviews, the food is SO GOOD. I love the curry dish with potatoes, and their appetizers are SO DELICIOUS. Best food in the falls area, by far
Great Experience! The most tasty Thai I have had since being in Thailand. Highly recommended
Food is delicious. Customer service is fast and efficient. Would recommend.
This place is amazing. Great quality cuisine. Clean. Amazing staff. Wish I could give it ten stars. Will be going often!!
Decent Thai food - many menu options but flavors aren't as noticiable in some dishes. Could hardly taste anything in the pad see ew with pork, but noodles were cooked well. 2 Words... Pad Thai... if you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine this is your go to spot. The food has such depth of flavor and so aromatic. I always leave planning my next trip as I walk through the front door. Definitely gem in Pinterest!
Tasty food and great service!
The food is excellent. Good service and nice atmosphere.
I really enjoyed the service and the cuisine was amazing.
LOVEEEEEE. This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Amazing food selection, the environment is so nice, the chairs are a little uncomfortable, but that honestly is the only critique. Love the waiters too, so helpful and constantly at my side.
Ordered take out after hearing how great their sushi was from various friends. We were very happy with what we ordered! Everything tasted so fresh & their rolls were very creative! My husband LOVED the Lobster Roll & I would highly recommend the Ceviche Roll. Will definitely be returning & recommending this restaurant to others.
Great food! Very authentic, and we will definitely come again.
Love this place. Great food. Best kept little secret.
A really great restaurant, very laid back and casual. The food was great
Neat
Love Chana! The quality and freshness of the food is consistent! The service is top notch! Best, our server is so kind and helpful when choosing something new. Atmosphere is pleasant and clean, parking easy!
Not good
Es la primera vez que fui a este lugar
El ambiente es muy agradable y tranquilo
Muy familiar y limpio
La atención es buena cordial y son muy educados
La comida es muy rica tiene sabor especial
Amazing food! Great food variety for a great price. The service is awesome, very welcoming, and always helpful when you want to try new things. DAVID is my favorite! He is so awesome! If its your first time I recommend the Firecracker as a starter, so yummy!
Chef Christian is the best! Place is top notch🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This place is disgusting. I walked my the kitchen and saw 5 roaches, 5 in a timespan of 5 minutes?
When I spoke to the people their answer was “no sir, u saw something else”
Stay away of this place!
PLEASE READ
This is by far the worse restaurant I’ve ever been.
Wow that’s a sentence! But totally worth it!
I came with my whole family to have dinner and the /manager “David” was the most rude person I’ve encountered in a long time.
Was not accommodating, mistreated my family and was extremely disrespectful to my wife and my kid. Seriously a baby?
I felt so ofended that I just walked away from the place.
This is not a place for the family stay AWAY!
Great Sushi and Very polite service. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Horrible service, food wasn’t much better. We won’t be back. Disappointed
Quick, efficient, knowledgeable service. Clean, bright, uncluttered restaurant layout. The lunch special is worth the $15. I didn't take a photo because I was too busy digging in. It feels like a great place for a weekend lunch date.
Awesome food very good. Service is not to good.
Great service, great food, great experience, thank you.
The grossest thai food I have ever had. The most emberassing example of fried rice and sushi I've ever seen. I literally took one bite and had to throw it away. Dont waste your money.
FANTASTIC! Never a bad meal or service. Love, love, love this place!
Delicious dood!
I was recommended by the waitress to try the mango salad and it was too sweet and bitter, I would not recommend it. I also ordered chicken noodles that were drowned in sugar. Both of these items were asked to be remove from the tab and they refused to do so. If you would like to come to this restaurant and catch diabetes and are willing to pay top dollars, and feel like you just got taken advantage of, Chana is the place to go.
Such a great place! Loved the green curry, pad thai and the bbq pork. A little sake and finished with their amazing thai donuts. Don't miss the coconut rice, it's insane!!
Excellent sushi and sake. A bit too bright for dinner but well worth the sushi and different roles 🍣
Food is great but the service is horrible. Ordered online and went to pick it up 45 minutes later and they asked me if I wanted to cancel because it was going to take too long. Another guy there said he ordered over 1.5 hours ago and he was still waiting. The front desk lady, waitress, receptionist, didn’t even apologized. She just had me waiting over an hour.
Best sushi in Miami so far from the places ive been. Also the pad thai is amazing. Food is always fresh and service is great. Oh and the chocolate lava cake is an added bonus. Yum!
Food is excellent, will go back again
Good and cozy thai restaurant. I love their drunken noodles
Great location in falls area.. but food just ok..
I'm going to lunch a couple of times but never for dinner. Your place was crowded with a great Vibe and the food was delicious.
This place houses modern Thai-Japanese cuisine. Chana Thai is one of my brother’s favorite places to go for Thai food. They have plenty of options here. From sushi rolls, Thai appetizers, and various entrees. For lunch, they offer a $15 lunch box special which is a good bargain for what comes with it.
The food and staff are great here. Our waiter recommended the salmon tartar for an appetizer and it had great flavor. Normally for appetizers, I like to order the Firecracker Tuna, curry puff, salmon tacos, and the classic chicken satay with peanut sauce. I’ve had chicken satay so many times in my life and I never get tired of it. We also ordered a tuna roll which was tasty.
No matter what, I always order the vegetable fried rice and some sort of chicken curry. Two Thai staples that get the job done in terms of carbs and protein. Who can go wrong with fried rice and chicken. Exactly it’s that good.9/10 I always take leftovers home to go because I don’t want it to go to waste and I like to reuse the bags with the yellow smiley faces that tell me to have a nice day.
I love Chana. I order a roll that's not on the menu. Tuna Lovers. Its fabulous. Since my husband doesn't like Sushi, he always orders Thai.
Yum-izzle. Nice beverge selection. I had a lychee sake-tini and everything that followed was delicious. The sauce that came with my chicken and shrimp dumplings however, was just okay. Nothing special. But the dumplings themselves were amazing. And my unagi nigiri melted in my mouth—I dont think Ive ever had it that fresh—not recently at least. The decor was simple and modern-done very well.
Great food bad service
12/15/18 I just ordered online a Nam Sod Salad. When I arrived at the restaurant at the designated time and showed the lady what I ordered, she got the "Oh No" look on her face and ran it to the kitchen. Then, when I got home there was NO Lettuce at all on the Nam Sod. It was the blandest meal I have ever eaten. Plus, it was $12, which is $2.00 higher than other local Thai restaurants. They also did not ask how hot you want it...mild, medium, or hot. We also ordered the Coconut soup which was very sweet with No spicy-ness to it. This was our first experience here and will definitely NOT come back. We order the exact same order from both Sea Siam and Tani Thai restuarants in the area and they are great! We wanted to try this place because it was closer. But, I recommend you go to Sea Siam or Tani Thai if you want good Thai food with flavor and spice.
Great service
Excelllent food, service and price.
Best sushi in town
There is really good sushi here. Many different types of rolls and the sushi Morewasi had different varieties of fish. Not just salmon, tuna, and whitefish (escolar). We didn't try the thai food, but what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Beers, ice coooold!
Everything was excellent. Food was delicious and servers were attentive. We will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food, service and price
Drafon roll is off the chain
Originally walked in between lunch and dinner service and was politely told that they were open for dinner soon. I'm very glad I waited and didn't decide to go elsewhere. Service was very friendly and helpful in picking out a meal, I always like to try as many different things as possible in a new to me restaurant.
I settled on the beef Sa Tay which was tender and flavorful, cooked perfectly. For an entree I chose the Cha Ta Lay, also cooked perfectly and very good, the server took some of the edge off of the spiciness, even though I told her to bring on the heat. It could have been spicier, but for the average person, it was probably perfect.
The drink selection is good and reasonably priced, the atmosphere is chic and clean, almost sterile.
I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
This place sucks!
A regular favorite Thai/Japanese restaurant of mine. Delicious seafood soups and sushi rolls. Good prices and friendly staff.
Great food, good service. Definitely I'll come back.
Delicious, very neat and great place to have Thai
