I don’t know when this Thai place was renamed and got new ownership but this place is GREAT! I can only speak for the food as I got delivery. But I always test a Thai place based on their pad woon sen and theirs was phenomenal! Everything was so fresh, tasty and a good portion with plenty of meat! I will definitely be ordering from here and plan to dine in here, I’m very impressed and glad to have such good Thai food close by!

My husband & I love coming here and its right around the corner for us. We usually order the pad thai and a sushi roll (Yellowtail, Fantastic, Red Dragon, Over the Moon, etc), any of these are most excellent and never a disappointment.
Food presentation is beautiful, Service is exceptional (very kind & personable), Vibe/ambiance is inviting, & establishment is clean. Definitely a gem!

Nakama is the closest Thai restaurant to my office in Pompano. I barely make it there and back within my designated lunch hour but it is totally worth it. Pad Thai lunch special is excellent, portion is huge, and staff is very kind. Love this place, it is the highlight of my workday!

I got delivery on my order from Nakama so I can't say anything about the restaurant but the food was awesome! I absolutely recommend the rock shrimp if you want a really savory and sweet fix. Sushi was super fresh and flavour as well. I recommend stopping in.

Strong 5/10. Prices are good but quantity is a touch low and the food is significantly worse than it used to be. Katsu curry was bad all around. The pad Thai was kind of mid. The red curry was fine.

Fourth: chicken bulgogi is solid but a little light on the flavor. But I really appreciate that it's breast. Good extra item to add when we can't agree.
Third: jungle red curry didn't really seem different.
Second time: Loved chicken katsu with the sauce. Good pad Thai, peanut curry and glass noodles. Pretty good panang curry,ginger dressing, peanut dressing and spring roll. Prices and servings are pretty good. The people working were very pleasant.

We tease my mom about how often she eats at Nakama but, after last night, I totally get it now. She was greeted enthusiastically as we walked in and the waitress remembered her order. The food was delicious, stayed hot as we talked and ate, and almost all of us had enough left over for lunch today. Despite the restaurant being mostly full, it didn't feel crowded or noisy. My only regret was erring on the side of caution and not ordering my curry as spicy as I wanted it; I'm already planning to order it spicier next time.

The best miso soup ever - so wonderfully flavored you can tell they put time into the broth it’s not just hot soup n cubed tofu lol. The portions are huge and very flavorful. I would recommend the sushi rolls and the pad Thai. Skip the pad see ew bc it has basil and saffron flavor that dont typically come in this dish elsewhere. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone!! The owner Bow Bow is extremely sweet and welcoming.

THEY STEAL CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! I use to love this place because of their sushi & phai thai until their new owner came along, now I’m not aware who is the one who could be doing this for there is a new girl who has recently started working there but it literally could be anyone since they’ve replaced the whole staff & owner. I once ordered out and pay with card and when I later check my transactions a couple months later I saw transactions for $34-$200 on holidays such as christmas, valentine’s day, etc if you see transactions for NOODLE HOUSE or NOI NOODLE HOUSE & CAFE or anything that says noodle house it’s this place!! not another establishment. I made the mistake to recommend this place to my friend not only she experienced this but her and her parents credit card information got stolen as well. This place needs to be shut down! I have more proof if needed:)

I love coming here! The food and service is absolutely amazing. Love Bobo the owner. My favorite is the lemongrass and coconut milk vegetable soup plus salmon skin hand roll and JB roll. So delicious! Food is incredible, warm ambiance and impeccable service.

Stopped in for a quick dinner and am so pleased that we did. I'd seen this place a few times in passing and today was the day. It's quaint and intimate. Our server who just so happened to also be the owner was soooo sweet and cheerful. She had the best energy and you can't help but to smile when she comes to your table. She was super attentive. Her vision for the place was to come and enjoy good food and good music, no need for all the extra stuff. She definitely succeeded! We ordered the spider roll, fantastic roll, spicy garlic edamame, miso soup, and strawberry nigori. Everything was delicious. The soup was exactly what I needed. I don't know what they put on that edamame but sheeshhhh! The sushi was fresh and the presentation was pretty! Please go support this local business!

Went here for Valentine’s Day and had a great time! The sushi here, especially the yellowtail, was some of the best sushi I have ever had. Their Pad Kee Mao and Thai tea were also top-notch. The owner of the restaurant was extremely kind.

I work in the plaza and this business has been through many owners and management teams. Bobo has been the absolute best since she took the helm about 6 months ago. She and her staff are very responsive, quick, and attentive to detail. The food was really yummy. I ordered take out and was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend going in for a meal because the presentation makes it way more appetizing! I also would replace the asparagus in the cucumber rainbow roll with avocado or mango. The asparagus really made it taste off.

Ate here for the first time since the name change. Just got take out but the lay out is the same. It’s always been clean and the service has always been friendly, but the lady at the register tonight was having a great time apparently. Very happy, laughing, friendly. The Pad KeeMao was excellent and I will be getting again. I got 3/4 spicy. I usually eat very hot food and 3 was good. 4 would be an endurance trial I think. Excellent taste. The sushi was certainly fresh as well. It was ready to go quickly too.

This place has really gone down since they Changed the Name/Ownership. I ordered the spicy conch and octopus salad to go. I paid $15 for a ridiculous small salad. It was probably the size of a cup and a half. The menu had cilantro in it, however I got some type of bittery herb and no onions. There was a rotten smell by the sushi bar and now my stomach is hurting.

Today is July 23, 2023! I arrived here exactly at 9:00 p.m and they were closed and the hours say on Sundays from 3:30-9:30

I give only 4 stars because the sushi seaweed for the rolls was tough and I had to spit it out with every bite. I could not chew it apart to swallow. But other then that the sushi roll was a great size, tasted amazing and the crispy wonton app was sure fire! I will try again!

The new owners of the old Pad Thai, now Nakuma, have a lot to learn about customer service. I ordered chicken with cashew nuts. Picked up my order, got home and noticed that my dinner didn’t have a single cashew nut in it. I immediately called the restaurant and the girl that answered the phone was useless. I had to hold for her to call the owners. Really? I was promised a call back-a MONTH ago. This is just one of a few things that happened with this restaurant. Price inconsistency being a big one. One week one price for Pad Thai, the next, another. Taking my business elsewhere.

I was ready to give it 5 stars, but I didn't, here's why. The restaurant is unpretentious yet the food is great. We had for appetizers egg rolls, small, but very tasty and tempura shrimp with a marvelous sweet caramelized sauce. Shrimps were large and cooked to perfection. We ordered a sushi boat which should easily feed four, unless you have as company someone who may be kicked out of an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The sushi was very fresh, delicious and the presentation outstanding. The cheese cake and fried bananas complemented a wonderful meal. The price was not cheap, expect to pay around $50 per person with beer or wine. However, it was worth it. I don't usually write reviews, but Nakama deserved it. The downer was slow service at the beginning, I presume, a little short-staffed. Then, the issue of the condition of the restroom which was not terrible, but not upto par. Good thing I visited it after the meal. In spite of this, I highly recommend it.

Previous ownership made this a good choice for Thai pickup a little closer than Jasmine. Not quite as good, but better than some others around.

New ownership: sushi is more expensive than every restaurant nearby. They don’t have the typical larger rolls, specialty are the small size of most other regular rolls. Tasted fresh and they were well made. Looked good too, just far outside the pricing given the area and quality.
Mongolian beef looked wonderful, but was probably worse than Panda Express.

I sincerely wish them the best of luck. Here’s what $65 gets you.

This is a mom and pop hole in the wall sushi place. The fish is fresh, tasty, and their menu includes unique house special rolls. We tried the Truffle Roll and I highly recommend it if you like truffle. I’ve never had it paired with sushi and it’s really an excellent flavor combination. Our waiter, Pan, had us laughing and helped set the mood for a fun evening!

Even at the end of the day the service and sushi was great. I showed up about half an hour before close and let out my inner fat kid... Spicy garlic edamame, two sushi rolls, Ramune and Calpico (drinks)... I was the only one there so late but I wasn't rushed and nothing was off the menu. I'll go back next time I'm in town.

Updating my review to reflect their name change and updates. They’ve got pretty solid sushi and an nice menu of Japanese staples like oyako don. Sauce on the oyako don was really delicious, flavors were spot on! Really excited to have a place in this area that does these kinds of dishes so well.

There’s no better place for Asian food. Their staff is amazing.

Me and my wife just tried Nakama sushi and it was really a great experience. The service was helpful and tentative. Probably the best tasting vegetable ive ever had was the crispy bok choy. The interior was nice and cozy japanese stlye bar. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Did I really just spend $11 on 6 lousy over fried chicken wings that I could have spent for a whole pack of fresh chicken? Avocado the smallest I've ever had and I don't know what to say about the Shrimp Tempura Roll. Tried calling to speak to someone about my order and got a rude person that just hung up on me twice. It is my 1st and last time ever eating from here. Highly don't recommend.

We waited for 30 minutes to get our food but it was so worth it! The food was delicious and looked really good. Will definitely come back to try more food from their menu

Definitely has changed owner. This place used to have good Thai food. Now it's awful 🤢. And the attitude of the waitress is quite rude. The the only good part is the sushi bar is keeping the previous chef. I will not going back anymore. One less place to eat.... 😔

The food is really good and would come back to eat however what turned me off was after paying the server came to the table and said loud are you going to tip me was the service not good in front of everyone and the tip was in cash already on the table I moved the sugar to show her and she said oh.

Wow! Wow!! Talking about supporting a new business the service was excellent the food was so good I wish I had a bigger stomach definitely coming back.

New owners changed the menu so no entrees include any kind of accompaniment and raised the prices at the same time by about five bucks per plate for less tasty food. This place doesn't hold a candle to Spikey Thai on Wiles or really any other local Thai place in terms of taste nor price. Best avoided.

Just found my new go-to sushi spot. Lots of sushi options on their menu plus they also have a good amount of Thai options. It's nice i can order from the same place depending on what I'm hungry for on that day. Friendly staff and prices are on point. Sushi was fresh and the restaurant looked clean (i always check for that when trying a new place). Definitely will be returning again!

Tasty local eats. They use fresh ingredients. Chicken wonton soup is delicious! Sushi rice is spot on. Their green curry is the best comfort food around. Highly recommend to give this hidden gem a try.

I met the owner Jane and she is so lovely and I found out she is new management! This place really turned around and the food is probably the best fusion around! Super authentic and fun. I’ll be coming back more often :)

This place is under new management and its truly and yummy place! The pad Thai is SOOOO GOOD. Can’t wait to come here again. Jane is such a sweet owner and the best! Everyone who works there is super attentive. Feels like home.

I don't think im coming here anymore, used to be really good and inexpensive. Lunch Pad Thai was like $9.00 and now its $14.00 for less quanity, and they minus you a Spring Roll now, and the pad thai tastes exactly the same. sad, this was a good restaurant too. New owners butchered it.

Apparently they have new owners, receipt now shows Nakama Sushi and dinner no longer includes salad or egg roll. When I asked about that, they said previous owner offered the salad and egg roll. I thought $16 was a bit pricey for only white rice and panang chicken sauce!

Order takeout on numerous occasions the food was absolutely awesome.
However, went to the restaurant couple of months ago and it was so hot it was terrible.
We just went back again today and again, it was so hot we had to leave, just pay for our drinks and go.
Ownership needs to understand that if the food is great and the service is great you need to provide a great atmosphere and that's the failure.

I would never recommend this place to no one . I went here with my friends to enjoy Thai food which we love because we lived there and we ordered about 6-7 dishes, and they brought us 3 dishes that we did not even order , I told the owner to take them back and bring us what we ordered and he started to be so rude and disrespectful and all the dishes did not taste good and he still wanted us to pay which I said I wouldn’t pay for the food I did not even ask for , and he started to say bad words to us it was a horrible experience. Never go there

Warning, highly addictive! My wife and I dine here at least once a week. The food is phenomenal with a staff to match. Try the Chicken Bolgagi, it’s delicious!

People eat out on weekends. You are in the service industry. You cannot take off when your customers need service. So ridiculous!

One of the best Thai spots I’ve been too in south Florida. The Penang curry was nicely spiced at level 3 and the Thai tea wasn’t overly sweet. The ambiance was nice as I’m not a fan of ordering at a counter.

Went here with my gf and another couple. Food was delicious and the atmosphere is really nice! Its not a loud place, so you can actually relax and have a conversation, plus the design is really comfortable. I got the love bites sushi, and I'm usually not a fan of fried rolls but this was fantastic. We also split a 300ml bottle of saki amongst the 4 of us and it was plenty. Definitely recommend going!

I read the reviews thinking I would really enjoy the food. I purchased fried calamari and Thai basil. The calamari smelled really bad to the point of not being able to eat it. When eating the Thai basil, I bit into something hard -picture shown. I ended up throwing the food away because of it. I personally do not recommend and prefer to get my money back

This place used to be good, but in the recent years the customer service has been non existent and the food is just ok. I’m not sure if it’s being managed under new ownership for the last couple of years, but the staff, mainly the rude waitress who barely speaks to people and barks when she does, are unprofessional, and lack basic customer service. On my last visit for lunch, with my husband, we sat down for 30 min while the lady ignored all my cues, and would turn away every time I tried to get her attention. All I wanted to do was the basics, place an order for a drink and appetizer. After a 30 min wait, only bc my husband is very patient and kind, we got up and walked out. I will never come back. After years of being loyal customers this was the last straw. Absolute rubbish!

This place has some of the BEST, most freshest sushi I've ever encountered! I don't even live in Margate, but I'd be willing to drive here to eat their delicious sushi whenever, becuase it's that good. The customer service is impeccable too. I have been twice so far and will definitely be back!

Management has changed hands a few times over the past 20 years but somehow they have managed to keep the taste the exact same. ALSO you can NOT find Pad Thai that tastes this good anywhere else, not even in New York City!!! If you've been a few times often then the service will be extremely nice and the head women will make sure your server is taking care of you all the time

Upon entering the restaurant I was excited as it's a lovely cozy spot and the menu looks amazing. I'm wondering if I came on an off night because there was nothing special about dining here. Service was slow for no reason. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Deluxe which was good until I bit something odd/hard and had to spit my food out (yuck.) 1 minute later I see my cousin also spitting something out as she too bit into something odd. She also ordered a sushi dish but a salad came out and our waiter wouldn't change it, even after she said she didn't enjoy it/didn't eat it. They could've at least taken it off the bill as the item was returned. My mother enjoyed her pad Thai. The Thai iced tea was good.

Wonderful little place in a shopping plaza that can easily be missed. Food is great. Had Pad Thai and Red Curry dish and it was perfect. Pad Thai could've been spicier but we added some chili powder and flakes to make it to our liking. Nice people, great prices and fresh, wonderful food!!!

The food here is soooooo good! Service is great and the price is right . The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed . My boyfriend and I love coming here on a Friday night. I highly recommend this place.

This is my go-to Thai place near my work. I have been here several times and it's reliable and also fast. Perfect for my hour lunch break.

I always get either noodles or one of the bento boxes. I love their Pad Thai. The sauce is always on point. I also get the Pad See Ew. Nice and thick noodles with just the right amount of spice. As for the Bento Boxes, you can't go wrong with the Tempura or Chicken Terriyaki. Bento comes with soup or salad and 4 pieces of Cali, 3 sushi, and 6 sashimi all for just $14. The noodles lunch special comes with soup or salad and a spring roll for just $10. Aren't these such a great deal?

Very good. I liked it. I felt the Thai ice tea glass was small but it was all good.

Nice ambiance. The chicken pad thai was okay. Service was good. Prices are little higher than other places which offer a better taste in the food. Overall it was an okay place to dine.

We eat here all the time. By far our favorite restaurant and the food is consistently delicious. Always look forward to ordering from Pad Thai 🙌🏽
