We ordered Siam dumplings and I-san sausage for the appetizers, and the main dish is Kaw Cook kapi, which is rice with shrimp paste and a lot of side dishes. My husband ordered chicken with basil and fried egg. Overall the staff is very nice and friendly. Definitely come back soon.

The owner is a very active, wonderful 79-year-old woman with excellent taste and great service. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable. It's not the cheapest Thai food, but it is worth a few extra bucks, and the food quality is still higher than you would expect. I bring my parents here when they visit. A must try if you are in the area and hungry.

I always treat myself to this restaurant if I have to go to Kohl's, yesterday was my first time back in a while and when I went in I knew something was different... The menu featured many new authentic dishes and I learned a new Thai family took over the restaurant. Such a lovely woman at the front, I believe her name was Metta, greeted me and gave me the scoop. Her sister cooks, the fam helps out, what a warm and friendly person she was. She offered me water while I waited... Such a simple gesture that took me by surprise because no one really does that anymore. All the staff were welcoming and the food was excellent. I ordered pad Thai, Basil fried rice, and spring rolls to go. I will be back to dine in and adventure deeper into the different regions of Thai food available. Thank you for doing something different, very exciting!

This place used to have the best Thai food in South Florida. Ever since they changed the menu and ownership, the food is bland with no taste. They make it so spicy now just to cut the portions. Price went up too. I was so sad that this place went down the drain. It was my favorite Thai place. And now I can't go back there anymore. Every time I gow now with the new menu, I get sick because of how spicy the food has become.

We’ve eaten here often and found the quality of the food to remain consistently tasty. It’s one of our favorite Thai restaurants. It’s under new management now and the food quality remains the same.

3rd update: back to 5 stars! The restaurant recently got another new set of owners, so I had to check it out. I got my usual red curry and it was great! I'm very happy this place is back to making great food. They changed the menu, so some dishes are no longer available, but they've added many new dishes as well. The new dishes are more Thai street food.

2nd update: I have been coming here for years, but the last 3 times, it just didn't have the same good flavors. I called and confirmed they got new owners. I can not suggest anyone go here anymore. The quality isn't up to par.

The food is incredible. Really high quality Thai. An entree is $18 but the servings are generous and I usually get two meals out of it. I love everything I've tried: cashew nut sauce, drunken noodles, pad thai, pangang curry, everything. Love the Tom Kha soup.

I always get it to go, looks a little small for me to eat inside but they are always friendly to me.

Good people, and great food. I love the Pineapple fried rice. Red Curry Chicken is one of my favorite entrees.

The quality of the good from this restaurant has really gone down. I ordered a red curry with brown rice (that's what I always ordered), and upon inspection of the brown rice, it smelled bad and had a few rice weevil (black bugs) in it.

This is the second time the rice smelled funky. I almost ate the rice, thinking it was oregano or some spice that fell in the rice! Smh

We were looking forward to dining at this restaurant since it had many good reviews.
Today, Saturday, we arrived at the restaurant at 2:35p and after the host showed us to our table told us that they were closing at 3p so if we wanted to eat we only had 25min.
We left and will never return.

Dear customers, I have share this terrible experience that happened to us.

We were a group of eight friends from all around the country and had a get together last week in Hollywood after six years, and came for lunch at the SiamRice Thai & Tapas. As soon we ordered the appetizer the server asked us for entree order. I said that we need sometime before we order the entree.

We contacted the server 15 to 20 mins later and she refused to come to the table to take the order. We asked the server politely four different times (every 5 to 10 mins) to take the entree order and she didn’t even want to come to the table to take the order. She was somewhat tied up but still had plenty of time to take the order. She made eye contact with us saying I told you so and now has to wait.

We got so frustrated after around 45 mins that we had to leave without lunch and this terrible and horrible experience. The same server was at the cashier desk and told her about why she couldn’t come by to take the order. She was just giggling and feeling sorry but appeared fake.

I would advise everyone to seriously consider avoiding this restaurant as the server can ruin the experience like how we felt.

I didn’t want to write this review for a week since it happened. Sitting in NY city now, I think I should put this review as otherwise her attitude won’t change. Other customers will suffer with this server and ruin the mood. I wonder if the restaurant management will look at my review and give me a response.

Placed a to-go order of two tuna rolls and Thai donuts at 6:30. Informed 10 minutes, left and came back 15 minutes later. Waited 35 minutes to receive my order. A couple came in at 6:45 when returned was seated and dining while I still waited for my order. And the server had a less than pleasant disposition when I enquired up soy sauce was in my order. Her reply, "You should look before you ask." Customer service isn't what it used to be. Publix sushi station is by far better as well as the customer service. Just crossed this small business off my list of dining establishments.

Ordered take out. Pad see yuu was awful. Wrong type of noodles, totally drowned in soy sauce. Normally my favorite Thai dish but this was terrible.

I've been coming here as a Hollywood local for years with my family. The restaurant just had a renovation and it is so nice! The food always hits the spot. I stopped today to grab some food for my fiancé and I as I pick him up from the airport today and I now live far. Try the golden bags, they're delicious. My go tos are the curries and pad thai. Delicious food and incredibly hospitable service.

We've been to SiamRice Thai & Tapas about 5 times, and every time we go, the food gets progressively worse until last time when we decided that we're not going back. The servers are very nice but the quality of the food does not match the service and I'm not going there for the service. Sorry to say that's it's worth the drive to Hallendale or Davie for better food.

We ordered the crab ragoons, lobster & monkey rolls, and Thai dishes; everything was DELICIOUS! Our server was sparking and delightful, and the whole staff, even got a wave from the Chef, all went above and beyond to ensure our experience. The ambiance and service are more than five stars deserving. I love the positive vibes. We love this place and will be back!

Standard Thai and sushi fare in a well trafficked plaza. Dishes are consistently good and will customize most anything. Good for those with allergies as staff always knows what dishes have which allergens.

When my family and I walked inside to be seated, the host did not greet us and our server took up the menus and just walked away. The host had to say “you can go with her”.
Second, I ordered the special fried Thai rice with NO PORK. And they handed me a plate with pork. I started to eat it because I specifically ordered my food with NO pork. Then I realized there was pork in there and I couldn’t believe it.
Terrible experience from a spontaneous decision.
I recommend their food because it’s okay, but do not sit in there and eat, the service was terrible.

Their Salmon Shiitake is my favorite. I order it weekly. It's a tasty, filling, yet healthy meal. And the salmon & veggies are cooked perfectly.

Best Red Thai curry EVER!!

We really like a good Thai curry, and a lot of places just messing this up so much, but not Siam Rice. We had massaman, green and yellow Currys take away from here twice within one wee and let me tell you it delicious. We are definitely coming back again for all this goodies!!!! 🥳🥳☺️

I ordered crab fried rice via Uber Eats.

My friend bought me some once in the restaurant and it was amazing. Chucks of crab meat were found inside that had your mouth watering for more.

This time, I ordered from Uber eats. Of course the price was inflated, but whatever?! 🤷🏽‍♀️ That's expected. However, my Crab Fried Rice tastes plain. I didn't find any chucks of crab meat. It was just mixed crab meat i.e. tiny stands of meat. You can barely see any in the picture.

I also called the restaurant to make sure they added Thai Chili in fish sauce and the lady said ok, but hung up so fast. I tried calling back to confirm she heard me correctly. I even texted my Uber driver and typed out what I wanted and they still sent the wrong sauce. 😩

To top it all off, they were "kind" enough to add the onion peeling in my fried rice. I guess they didn't want to waste any of the onion. 😩

I just spent $20 on nland Garlic chicken that is horrible. The garlic sauce is very watery like boiled water. No seasoning at all! I came here because the reviews. I should have known it wasn't good when there was only one customer in the restaurant and she complained that her food was cold and salty. Mine had no salt and it was ready in 5 minutes. Meaning they have boiled chicken in watery broth just sitting around.

I went back recently. That monkey sushi was everything , with my lychee tea.

Friendly staff, great prices and yummy bites, what else can you ask for? The noodles where great, all the rolls were great and the Thai coffee with boba was good (didn’t say great because it was a little too sweet for me but good nevertheless) and the tapas sampler was an awesome way to try several apps.

The food is excellent. Great luncheon specials and not too busy, which is what I like about lunchtime here. Unfortunately the price had gone up $2.00 but is still better priced than other restaurants and healthier. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. I personally go here on a regular basis.

I’ve been eating here for years. Love the service here dining in and picking up. I’ve also done delivery a few times and they never disappoint. The Chiangmai roll is great. Love all of the sushi options. Also love the pad woon sen and Tom kha gai soup. There’s a beef soup here that is massive and amazing. Definitely recommend.

So good!!! Chicken with green curry, pink noodles, pad Thai were my favorites. Salmon roll and special fried rice were a little bland. But overall; I was really happy with this dinner and so was my family. Service was average but nothing to complain about. The food came out fast though and we were lucky enough to get a table an hour before restaurant closing.

Ordered 2 apps, 1 sushi, and 2 pad Thai lunch specials. App came out then 1 plate of pad Thai then the sushi. Sat there for 40 mins waiting for the second plate of pad Thai no one in sight to even ask where it is finally someone was walking around and my husband was like we never got one of the plates just give me the bill and a box for the leftovers. Sat around some more no bill no box. He had to go up and say he needed to pay saying again how we never got one of the plates. Horrible service left hungry what a waste of time and money.

I like the Boba teas and the food, which can be slightly expensive depending on what you get.

I came here at 9:30pm to get a quick bite to eat and I was turned away by the hostess. She said that they close at 9:45pm and could not seat me. I looked at the door where it clearly states the restaurant closes at 10pm. So I drove 20 minutes to come eat here just to be turned away by lazy employees who don’t want to work. If you close at 9:45pm I suggest updating your hours of operation online.

I've been coming to this place since 2017 since i moved back around Hollywood and it's still is my favorite place. The staff are always friendly and the food is really good and tasty. My favorite is Papaya salad and Pad thai then i go for the fried calamari and the green curry. I tried them all including the sushi and it gets better and better everytime we visit.

This is a strip mall eatery that I really enjoy and I think you will too. Like most Thai restaurants the staff is friendly and always smiling, they seem genuinely glad you came to their restaurant. The food is very good, portions are decent and the prices are reasonable. It seems like the whole family is involved in this business, a little girl followed the server around as she took care of her tables. I found this to be utterly charming as I watched the gentle interaction between the two. There are some interesting and very tasty appetizers on the menu...great for exploring different combinations of ingredients.

First time here, tried a few tapas just basic stuff all made fresh and hot, it was good. Tried the Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Shumai, the Siam Roll and the Bangkok Roll (California roll). And the Thai Tea was great! A bit pricey for small plates but I feel that is everywhere now. Service was ok, some language barriers but understandable. I would give them a try again. The restaurant was ok definitely needs some work in the back area towards the restroom not a good experience in there washed my hands and ran out! I would try take out as well if you want to give them a try.

A great restaurant for Thai food! The staff was polite and friendly. I dined on the Crispy Duck with Sweet and Sour Sauce and Jasmine Rice.

Wonderful Thai restaurant! I had some Basil Fried Rice with Tofu. And for dessert, I had the Thai Donuts. It was all super scrumptious! 20/10 I would go there again!

After looking forward to eating here, it was literally the WORST pad thai I've ever had! The noodles were still hard and the sauce tasted so concentrated because there weren't enough noodles mixed in. This is after I got served what seemed like a lunch portion and charged the dinner price. After speaking with the manager, it was clear that she was either unwilling or unable to provide customer satisfaction. I can handle a small portion size, but that coupled with it not even tasting good - unacceptable. Definitely was NOT worth the money or the annoyance. Both the food and the experience literally left a bad taste in my mouth

I just ordered food to go while on lunch but decided to eat in and the manager told me I was not allowed because I ordered to go and dining is a service and a tip has to be left. How could I spend my money with you guys and not be allowed to eat in your establishment

We have been coming here for nearly a decade now and I’m surprised my review isn’t on here. This family that runs this business truly appreciates each customer and strives to create a wonderful dining experience! The food is always amazing, creative, and fresh! Honestly, this is my favorite Thai place in Broward County! This place is a gem- even when they’re busy, they try their best to give you attention even if they’re limited staff. Gift, the waitress, runner, hostess, she does it all- she’s very sweet and knows how to treat customers! Give it a try trust me, you’ll love it!

Spicy soups are not for the faint of heart. Definitely top ten tho. Recommended.
