Eathai was a random find for us. We were in that part of town on business with the local fire department training division. After our meetings we went to find lunch and stumbled into this location. My overall food experience was excellent. I had green shrimp Curry and my work associate had Chicken Pad Thai. Both were excellent! I only am giving a small little ding because one piece of chicken came out well undercooked actually raw. The reason this is a minor ding instead of major, is I believe this is an isolated incident. I also must say the manager's response to it was over the top. He discounted our bill which was completely unnecessary. In fact we were so comfortable with the food, that we ate the rest of that dish and only pulled out the one small piece of chicken that was undercooked. This is a first class establishment, which clearly has a first class leader at the top. I gave five stars at 2 in the classifications and only a small four-star level for the little error with the chicken. 9.5/10

This is hands down the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. All the staff are so incredibly kind.

Max (server) was very knowledgeable and ensured I ordered well and the chef even came out to make sure I loved everything.

Prices are extremely reasonable and the dishes are bursting with flavor and freshness.

My wife and I visited Eathai Delray Beach for the first time, and we were blown away by the authentic flavors and incredible dishes. The meal started with appetizers—Coconut Shrimp with Chili Honey Sauce and Grilled Lamb Satay—both of which set the perfect tone for what was to come.

For lunch, I had the Panko Crusted Salmon with Spicy Mango Salad and Cashew Nuts, and it was absolutely fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My wife chose the Spicy Skinny Pad Thai with Chicken, and she couldn’t stop raving about it.

Every dish was prepared with such care, and the flavors were bold and authentic. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to try more of their incredible menu. Highly recommend Eathai Delray Beach for anyone craving top-notch Thai cuisine!

I have eaten at this place a few times and food was always pretty good except today I did a pick up order and the food tasted almost stale like it was sitting out all day or went bad. It was just bad. $40 spent on a lunch portion and the Pad Thai tasted of straight fish sauce and coconut sticky rice was bland and the only flavor was from the plastic bag that it was in. I called to let staff know that something was off in hope to prevent other customers to have the same experience and receive a resolution however, when the manager called back he called to be extremely rude and argumentative. I DID NOT EAT ANY OF THE FOOD AFTER THE FIRST BITE, it was that bad. Restaurant did not provide any resolution or help. Sad places like this don't care about the customer and don't want to offer resolutions when they are in the wrong. Save your money and go support other local businesses that care about their customers and quality of the food.

I have eaten there probably a dozen times since 2018. Ordered 2 chicken pad thai and 2 coconut sticky rice, the menu on their website at of 11/29/24 showed $14 for the pad thai and $3 coconut sticker rice. Making a total of $34. I ordered over the phone (no extra app markup) and the total came out to over $42.

Now that fine, for a treat once in a while but it was one of the worse pad thai I have ever had, you could only taste the fish sauce and the coconut sticky rice didn't taste like coconut.

Called to try to explain something was wrong with the food, the manager or chef started arguing with me saying if we want the money back to drive back 20 minutes each way to return it.

Anyway, I just won't order from there ever again.

Those complaining about service and wait times, well if it is slammed yes you may have to wait. It is because everything is cooked fresh. Literally.
They had some staff issues a year plus ago and have since resolved that. Their new waiter (sorry forgot his name) is super attentive and knows the dishes although he is a white boy like myself.
The food is superb with favor and heat dialed to your level of comfort. Classic dishes reinvented and elevated. True Thai dishes at a Michelin level...in fact, where the hell is Michelin to be rating this place? But then please don't come, it is getting harder to get a table already.

This is your go to place for Southeastern Asian cuisine you'll find some great Indian food here too. Everything is always very authentic and really nice place to enjoy a great meal highly recommend

Eathai is one of my families favorites! My eldest son is 10 years old, super picky and there isn’t one thing he doesn’t love!

Amazing food...if you can get it. Service is so bad, I don't know where to begin. Suffice to say, our last two visits were disasters. We invited friends and our order was really messed up. Took forever to get our drinks. Then, the food took a long time and my wife's dish was not served and they had to prepare it. The last time, and I litterally mean "last" time, we waited 15 minutes for our drinks and then over 30 minutes for our salads. So we left. The food is amazing, but the service is so poor, and the seating so uncomfortable that it's not worth the trouble!

Basil noodle seafood was simply excellent, would definitely have that again. Salmon mango also excellent. Ask for "spicy, same as the owner" and it should be just right. Restaurant itself is rustic, no Thai ambiance. Given the quality of the food, a better surroundings would be justified. Prices very reasonable. Service good, especially the friendly owner with his new glasses. Happy to recommend this place
Update 11/4/24 not so good this time. Coconut shrimp overpoweringly sweet, spicy skinny pad Thai with beef below average, not spicy. Panko salmon good but not great. They added over $10 as a tip even though it was takeaway and I picked it up myself.

Best restaurant in Delray Beach

We have been coming to Eatthai for several years and this review is way overdue. We've had casual lunches, family dinners and even birthdays here. Always a great meal, love the chef/Owner, he comes out to say hello after service and even gave our friend a free T-Shirt one time.

We come for the food, but we stay for the company, the staff is super friendly especially our new waiter Max who has been an absolute pleasure to dine with the last two times. Very gracious and accommodating. Anticipates our every need before we think of it and tolerant of our at-times-loud guests :)

The atmosphere is casual and friendly with creative lighting and decor to make it a great lunch and dinner spot. I still don't get the painting with the deer in the fish tank, but I keep trying to find meaning every time...

Love you guys and keep up the great work!

It’s very disappointing to be charged $17 for a little bit of meat without rice included. They should really put that in the description. I feel that I was scammed. If you get this dish do not expect rice.

We stumbled upon this restaurant from a coupon book and decided to give it a try! Our waiter, Max, gave us recommendations for everything from appetizers to dessert. My dinner wasn’t something I would have ordered myself, but I was surprised with how much I loved it. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be back!

I have eaten here many times, and the food has always been great. Tonight, instead of calling in my order, I use their "App" to place a take out order. The app added a 10% service charge (and that was NOT the tip... this 10% service charge was on top of the food, tax, and tip)... WOW! I used the app to help make less work for the restaurant workers.... and for my efforts to help the restaurant I was changed 10%.

In addition, the take out order was MUCH, MUCH smaller than the in house portion. Both my Jasmine rice box and my Cashew Chicken container were ONLY HALF filled. I will NEVER order from here again!!!

Best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. Chef Sopanut is super friendly and really goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. Family friendly and has vegetarian options. Max was a great server and made the evening memorable recommended for a date night or out with the kids.

Delicious double mushroom salad. They custom made a rice noodle with broth dish for my 8 year old who is very picky and he loved it. Flavorful food and a nice atmosphere.

What can I say. The place looks great, service is ok, but food is not up to par. I tried the coconut shrimp, roti curry, pad Thai, and the branzino special. They were all very mediocre. The branzino was a disaster. Supposed to be an almond-crusted branzino but was really a branzino filet deep fried and sprinkled with almonds. Worst part is the entire backbone was still in the fried filet. It really is quite dangerous. Manager admitted that was not supposed to be served like that. He apologized but the dinner was kinda ruined since the branzino arrived pretty late and having them redo the dish wouldn’t meant that I would have to eat the fish as my party waited (they were all done with their meals). The manager offered fried rice to go as a way of saying sorry. Or at least that’s what I thought! I was wrong, he tried charging me $16 for the rice he insisted over and over that I accept. I had him remove the charge and he turned very rude and mean after this. I tried to be nice and point out that I just simply never wanted the fried rice and only accepted it due to his relentlessly asking me to. I wouldn’t come back to this place

Wanted to like this place, especially since it’s so close to my house. Unfortunately the manager treated me so rudely that I don’t think I could ever go back. We offered the coconut shrimp, Indian roti app, chicken pad Thai and the branzino. Coconut shrimp is not bad, very tiny portion. Wouldn’t order it again. Indian roti was AMAZING! It was my favorite dish. The pad Thai was very mediocre. Not bad but kinda on the dry and bland side. Egg was overcooked. And lastly, and the worst of all, the branzino. I almost broke my tooth. First it was supposed to be an almond crusted branzino. It’s actually branzino filet that is deep fried and sprinkled with almonds as a garnish. Then I took a bite and the entire backbone of the fish was still intact! It was fired with the entire backbone. Very strange. Most places take the bones out (some in a very fancy presentation). The manager semi-accused me of lying until he went back and saw the backbone and came back and apologized. By this time my guests had nearly finished their dinner (my branzino came to the table 10 minutes later than the pad Thai) so I just told them to remove it from the receipt. They offered replacements but it was late and I just wanted to finish and go home. They relentlessly begged me to accept a fried rice for all the trouble. I said no but they said I could take it to go, so I finally said ok. I thought it was a nice gesture in light of the bad experience. Well it wasn’t a nice gesture, they wanted to charge me $16 for this mystery fried rice that the manager INSISTED I accept. Luckily I caught it and asked it to be removed and told them I didn’t want the fried rice as I only accepted it because I thought it was them trying to turn my experience around. Manager was very rude and condescending. I wouldn’t go back. Plenty of other places to eat at.

The food and service were over the top outstanding! Max who has an amazing personality recommended the slow cooked Massaman curry chicken and the crispy pork chop which were both wonderful, authentic and bursting with aromatic flavors. We felt like we were in heaven! The owner/chef came out to introduce himself and make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely recommend EATHAI of Delray Beach to all of our family, friends and business associates. Kop khun mak! Thank you very much!

I've been coming to Eathai for years. The food is amazing I recommend all my friends and family to come here as well. His wings are too die for. My favorite dish is Tom yum shrimp fried rice and salmon with mango salad. His food is authentic and feel like I'm back in Thailand!

My friend and I had dinner tonight on a Mon and it was busy! Our server Max was great and knew the entire menu and had a great personality. We had the beef jerky special as an app and we loved it and both had pad thai. one with shrimp and chicken YUM! Nice and fresh with perfect portions and great price of $15! You can't beat this place! A must try!

Good authentic thai food. This is a little different from your standaard American thai restaurants. Fried mushrooms and fried beef jerky appetizers were awesome.

This menu is a bit different so you may need one or two trips to really appreciate the chef's more authentic palette. Don't worry, they don't overly spice everything, they still give our taste buds a chance to catch up to their more exotic flavor profiles.

I really like this place. Stumbled upon it by accident a few weeks ago and have since been there twice. I got the Chicken and Basil first time around, this time I got their Oxtail Basil Fried Rice (pictured) and it is just perfect.

The atmosphere is nice inside and the folks that work here are all very pleasant and kind. Nice to have a favorite Thai place here, I am hoping they thrive and stick around for years to come 😄

What I don't like about the service, we will put on a very small table, a cocktail table. We didn't have enough space for all of the food.

Also, when checking out, our server or the device for running a credit card was set to 20%.

The appetizers are just as expensive as entrees. Use caution. The amount you get on the plate is on the small side. The bill came to over $90 for two of us. My partner, she eats very light as it is.

Outstanding/Tasty thai cuisine here! Probably the best have tasted in Delray. However, the portions are SO SMALL, that i thought I was getting a childs version. So Be AWARE to order double, or if the the restaurant reads this, you need to seriously reconsider how much you put into a take away . You also forgot part of our order :(

Everything we've tried has been delicious. The chicken wings with the spicy dry rub are my favorite, but you can't really go wrong.

Great modern authentic Thai cuisine, all the food is very tasty and well crafted, the service from Chef So and the rest of his team is always great. Definitely a must try, I go at least twice a week.

We would have rated food 4.5 as the pickle cabbage chicken coup is sweeter than and not as sour/spice as we expected.

All other dishes were great. It's Thai but not traditional Thai food you get everywhere.

Great restaurant! Chef was in the dining room, he came over chatted was very nice. Staff was great. Had a couple of appetizers, lamb Satay was incredible and green papaya sald was really good too. Cool design on the interior! Check it out!

Food is so authentic and fresh! We visit here often and I love everything on the menu! I absolutely love the papaya salad, the chicken wings, the fried rice, the deconstructed salad and the Thai lemon iced tea! It’s so delicious and consistent 🤍

Amazing!! Everything was so flipping delicious. Menu was incredibly creative — a great blend of modern fusion and authentic Thai. My favorite was the spicy shrimp ceviche and the cucumber salad with salmon belly.

The food here is excellent. I have visited this place three times, and every time I ordered something different from the menu, it always surprises me. Fried noodles are my favorite, and there is also a great duck dish.

I made an online order and was very disappointed with the size of the servings when the food arrived. I needed a quick comfort food for dinner, and this wasn't it. The crispy padthai was very confusing...small cup of broth and a box of dry noodles...I guess my fault for not doing more research on the dishes served here.

Good Thai food in the heart of Delray. This was my first time here and the noodle dish was outstanding. The decor reminds me of a funky little place in New York. It’s super casual and the menu is a little eclectic with a creative twist to the dishes. It’s a big menu offering a nice selection of appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, and entrées. Noodle dishes are excellent. Save room for dessert they feature Thai rolled ice cream, which looks amazing.

Lots of reviews saying it’s the best Thai restaurant in the area I’ll take it a step further and say it’s is the best restaurant in the area no matter the style of cuisine. To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. I dream about the fish of the day special and the salmon ceviche (both specials) there isn’t a bad dish on the menu. Can’t wait to go back on Saturday for my birthday dinner.

I liked this place very much. Found this place through Instagram and I’m glad I did. I ordered three starters. The alligator bite which were the perfect amount of spicy. The enoki mushroom which was batteries in egg, although I liked it, my girlfriend that it was too greasy. We also ate the lamb satay skewers and they were perfect alongside the peanut sauce and Thai sauce.

I ended up getting the dry egg noodles as a main and it came with shrimp, scallops and crab meat. It was also very well made. My girlfriend ended up ordering the papaya salad and it was the perfect blend of sour and spicy.
Overall the service was great and the atmosphere felt good having people sitting close. Everyone in the restaurant seemed happy as well.

Definitely one of the best Thai eateries in Delray ( extend that to Boca and Boynton) area.

Seriously the best Thai food ever. Every dish was so well presented and the food was TO DIE FOR. You need to check out this place!! Got the shrimp Tom yum fried rice, fried alligator, papaya salad, pork chop, coconut shrimp, Tom kha and shrimp stir fry. Every single one of these dishes were amazing. The server was the most kind woman ever as well!!

Came a second time a year later, food was even better than last time!!! Such fast service y’all need to check this spot out.

First time dining at Eathai and we completely understand their stellar rating. The service is spot on and the food was amazing. The enoki mushroom appetizer is now on my cravings list. The chicken wings with the dry rub were crispy and flavorful. The ice cream was perfect because it is not too sweet and you choose from a variety of toppings. So if you want sweeter…….choose sweeter toppings. We can’t wait to dine there again. Wishing all the best for this chef owned business.

Really disappointed. I ordered a crispy egg noodle pad Thai. It looked NOTHING like pad Thai. It was a box of crispy noodles and a sauce. No vegetables. A couple of shrimp… 5. Nothing else. How is that pad Thai? Wow. Not worth the price! Also ordered the papaya salad. I can take heat but this was so hot it was inedible. There was no option to request less spice. Wasted $25. Threw the food out. Sad. I used Uber Eats but since it was my first time ordering from them I received free delivery. And EatThai thanks for replying but please understand my comments relate to your food quality and pricing not UberEats.

The best food, let alone Thai food in Florida!! My entire pregnancy I craved this place and took the 40 minute drive every time! And now I take the 40 minute drive because my child is now obsessed too🤣 I put everyone one to this place. There’s something for everyone here! Meat lovers, chicken lovers, spice lovers, non-spice lovers, vegetarian options etc! You will dream about this food, I promise you that !

I ventured into new food category today. My friend encouraged me to open my palate to Thai food. The aesthetics from start to finish, 6/5 stars. The flavors in all the dishes were amazing, although spicy for my taste. Service was excellent and very attentive. If I am for genuine Thai food, this is the place I would go.

This is one of those places where you can order anything off the menu and not be disappointed! I have come here multiple times and am always satisfied! The service is always great. Despite a full house, we received drinks and food within the first 30 minutes of sitting down. Try the Thai ice tea and chicken wings if you aren’t sure about anything else!

This is some of the most appetizing food I have had in South Florida. Extremely affordable! The chef is a character and is vested in serving the most fresh, flavorful and delicious food. If you are not familiar with any of the dishes don't worry. This is very authentic, and they are not pandering to the typical dishes that Americans are accustomed to that other restaurants of this cuisine will serve. Just order based on the ingredients and you will be extremely happy with any dish. I guarantee 💯. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting.

Being spoiled from my own Thai circle of people for many years before I moved to west palm beach. I know the real taste of authentic and quality Thai foods. Now I drive 1hr to just for my Thai craving.

I've been to Thailand many times and I'm always searching for authentic Thai food. I never found it until I came here. Their food is delicious, authentic and fresh.

I love Eathai. They always are nice and the service is exceptional. The food is always good and the food is awesome. I would recommend going to Eathai if you can!

By far the best Thai in Delray - while they offer many familiar items they also have plenty of unique dishes that are amazing. Be sure to take some of their bottled sauce home too.

The food here is incredible, period. We tried many things and the flavor profile on each dish was exciting and unique from the next. The menu was obviously very carefully curated to layer these beautiful flavors together. When I left here I already couldn't wait to come back.

This place is so good, I ate here twice last week! Nothing on the menu is what you'd find at the average Thai restaurant. Each dish has a creative and unusual spin on a classic Thai dish. I had the spicy basil fried rice for instance. Instead of the usual meat choices, it was served with braised ox tail meat. It was phenomenal. There was enough in the portion that it was my lunch the following day. The next visit, I got the fried Enoki mushroom app and the dry garlic noodles with shrimp, crab and fish balls. Both of these were also really great and would order any of it again. To top it all off, they offer rolled ice cream desserts that are also really nice. Highly recommend the mango sticky rice ice cream bowl. Can't wait to be back in Delray area to go here again. Thanks y'all!

Amazing option for Thai in Delray! Informal but super cool, the most important….different menu and everything we ordered was delicious. The sampler is a great option to try a little bit of everything and the panko crusted Panang curry salmon is a must. Our server was the best!

An ideal place to eat, very cozy, traditional Thai food will be found here, delicious and always creative. Service is enthusiastic, friendly and polite. Especially the owner is very sweet and pampering. He is always welcoming to customers and always goes to each customer to say hello. He is the lovely owner and also an excellent cook. Eathai is always my favorite food, my family and even my friends.

Went here to eat and the food was great. The owner was super nice. However, It all went wrong when the chef came out to speak to me and proceeded to use the n word. The entire experience was ruined for me. This was unacceptable. I’m saddened that I cannot support this restaurant again as I was impressed with the quality of food.
