One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. I keep coming back to try different dishes, and everything is consistently good. Their curries, soups, sushi, and Thai tea are definitely worth trying. The service is generally good, though it could be better at times. I will keep coming back.

The food quality and quantity are superb! Food was very tasty and the hot food came out fresh and hot. Our server Jan was very delightful and professional. We also interacted with the owner who was also very customer oriented and eager to ensure our experience was a great one. If you are a sushi or thai food lover, would highly recommend checking out.

Service here absolutely sucks. Placed a delivery order and an hour later I called to see what was up. After trying to speak with two different individuals who spoke no English, I finally was put on with someone that could communicate. He said he’d refund $20 if I went to pick it up. So I tried to cancel the order and he wouldn’t refund the full amount. This place is a fraud.

Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in our area! Kub Kao consistently delivers on every level from their beautiful presentation to the absolutely delicious food, perfect portion sizes, and the awesome, welcoming vibe. The staff is outstanding, and the sushi chefs truly go above and beyond. They’re incredibly friendly and always strive to make the experience even better. Today there was a bday party next to us and my son was sooo happy and in such a good mood due to everything that he actually came back and gave flowers to the bday girl. 😍

Based on the reviews, I tried this restaurant 3 times. Unfortunately, each time I’ve been disappointed. Kub Kao uses way too much fish sauce. Each dish I’ve tried tastes like it came straight from the ocean. I understand that Thai food uses fish sauce but the amount used here is substantially more than usual. On top of that, the pad see ew and kuaitiao khua kai noodles barely had any flavor beyond the fish sauce. They were essentially just noodles with fish sauce. Typically these noodles are at least seared but these noodles were pale. All in all, I gave Kub Kao more than enough times to say that this restaurant is not for me. Sadly, nothing I have ordered has been tasty.

Had a family dinner and ordered the red curry, pad Thai, and the kids' grilled chicken breast with fries. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful! However, I’m giving two fewer stars because the kids' meal arrived very late. It seemed the waitress wasn’t familiar with our order and was preoccupied with other tables. We had to ask the hostess to check on it, which took away from the experience.

Every time I come to this restaurant I feel at home. I feel like I'm in Thailand the food is very authentic. The owner is very kind and takes time to talk to you. The waitress are very helpful and more than happy to help you. Not to forget the most important thing .. The thai food was excellent. Sushi was fresh and good but nothing special. The service was not good. Out waitress finished her shift midway through our meal and nobody was assigned to our table. I had to get up from the table and ask for everything throughout the rest of our meal. I will not go back.

One of my go to spots in Davie! The food is incredible and the staff are very friendly. The Tom Kha soup and Shrimp Tempura Roll are my favorite menu items. Go check them out!

Actually the worst pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life. No spice, no flavor, no sauce, no peanuts. The best thing I got was the drinks.

My wife and I only ate Thai food, so this rating and comment is based on that. The food was very good. You can taste the freshness. My only complaint was that they gave us a server that didn't know how to speak English. I'm not trying to be picky, but that's the only language I can speak. There was too much confusion and repeating of stuff. Plus, he was new and still in training. Overall, I would recommend this place👍👍

KUB KAO appeared in the list, I checked photos and reviews and thought they didn't have a huge review section, but everything was positive, so we hit it up. We were soooooo glad we did. The customer service SUPERB, the food OUTSTANDING and may I say PRETTT👌🏾 👏🏽 🙌🏽 😋. If we're ever in the area again.....straight to KUB KAO! Never lose what y'all have KK....keep up the great job.

Love love love their food. It's always fresh and flavorful. One of the best places for authentic curry dishes. It's the closest thing I've tried to the dishes provided in Thailand. The massaman curry is my favorite dish. The service is great and the staff is friendly. The place is also clean. I have zero complaints.

It’s always freezing in this place as we frequent quite often. Today I attempted to dine in and sat outside waiting for service after being seated by the hostess. Two tables were seated after I arrived. One about 5 min after and the other about 8 min after I arrived. Both tables were given drinks and orders were taken. Still I sit outside with my menu waiting to be acknowledged. After 10 min of being ignored I walked in and just placed a Togo order. Horrible experience. The restaurant was barely full with 5 empty tables so them being busy wasn’t the excuse this time. This was beyond disappointing. But maybe I look like someone who deserves to be ignored? Because every time we visit this restaurant the owner comes out and asks random people how their meal was. We are NEVER asked. Not going there but I think I know what it is. Dine at your own risk and be prepared. You’ve been warned, you know who you are.

We went to celebrate my dad's birthday and everything was amazing, the food, the service. Many thanks to all the workers for making our dinner special. We will be back soon.

I ordered take out and was surprised to see my food sitting out in the main dining room tagged UberEats when I ordered from the website. Although it was bagged they should not have the food sitting on the middle table in the main dining room. Consider getting a shelf for pickup orders.

This was my favorite sushi restaurant, since I tried it I was delighted, but on my last visit the food was a total disappointment, I asked for my role as the most expensive and they brought me a terrible little one nothing to do with what they have always brought me, my husband asked for a suggestion from the innkeeper and they just brought him a pineapple stuffed with rice c9n two shrimp.I was upset and I just leave. Lose two customers at your restaurant.

First thing I will say is if I could give this place a 10/10 I would. I’ve been here over 4 times & every single time the food has been top tier. Our server Aey was amazing & super attentive. She truly made us feel like royalty. She made sure our food was always correct & she never made a mistake. She always asked if we needed anything & never forgot about us like most servers nowadays do. The hot sake is great, affordable & they have many cold sake options as well. The Nova Roll is delicious, buttery, & melts in your mouth.
Midnight dragon roll has eel on top. The eel has an amazing taste to it & isn’t fishy at all. Any noodle option you got will be great. Don’t forget the Thai donuts. Soft, warm & deliciousness. You will want to order 2 of them.. Go & Enjoy yourself!!!

This was our 1st time going and it was definitely satisfying and met our expectations. The quantity of the plates matched the quality... exceptional and beyond.
The wait staff were very generous and accommodating and knowledgeable.
We ordered a few dishes thinking the portion size would be like most sushi restaurants but we were delightful surprised and ended up taking our entrees home.
Lastly, the plentiful options for such a small venue we're extremely satisfying because it sets us up to return to try something else we weren't able to this initial visit.

This place is good. It was the first time that my family and I have been here and it was good. The restaurant itself is nice inside but the music was very loud and the napkin cloth did have an odd smell.

Overall, the food was great. I love a good tom yum soup and this place has one. The pad woon sen, thai donuts, and the mango and sticky rice were all great. The portions are decently sized. I would come back.

Food and service are amazing

Thai fried rice with meat, Garlic sauce with meat and white rice, Chicken lo mein and California rolls are delicious dishes. Everyone in my house hold enjoy these dishes. The atmosphere is clean and cozy plus all the servers are friendly and caring.

Took my wife the second time and enjoyed a good meal with large portions. The fried rice is big enough for up to three people. Sushi was very flavorful and so was the gyoza and Krab Siam. The tea was infused with condensed milk so naturally as a Cuban this was a hit.

What stood out for me was the service. The wait staff was attentive and cared for my expectant wife like she was part of the family and left a good impression. Definitely coming back!

The sashimi was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth, while the sushi rolls were perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The Dragon Roll, with its eel and avocado, was a standout. UPDATE & RESPONSE TO OWNER: Soup is meant to be eaten with a spoon, and it's not possible to eat the entire shrimp with a spoon if it has a tail on it. Shrimp tails are left on a shrimp if you're eating "Peel 'N Eat" shrimp and not soup. I don't want to use my hands to eat shrimp that has been soaked in a soup. This is part of the reason why I asked for extra napkins, and the waitress didn't seem to care. The soup can be prepared with shrimp shells, but the shells need to be removed before serving the soup to a customer. A customer should be able to eat a soup without their hands. Your response shows a lack of sympathy and empathy, and it seems like you don't mind wasting shrimp meat in the tail and just leave it in your soups. I don't like to waste food, but I also don't like to remove food from a soup in order to eat it properly.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: They left the shrimp tail shells on the shrimp in a soup. I had to use my hands to eat them. Their octopus had fuzzy stuff on it. They’re expensive, and the waiters were quite touchy and romantic with each other. The drama was quite entertaining, yet the food and responses from my waitress were mediocre.

The fried rice is the best Thai rice I’ve ever had, and the crunchy tuna rice is out of this world. The portions are also generous and shareable.I order To go and dine in at least once a week.
I’ve heard great things about their lunch specials, but have only been for dinner.
The servers are very sweet and hardworking, Diego is amazing and so is the other lady (forgive me I forgot her name) and so are the sushi chefs. PLEASE EVERYONE REMEMBER TO have patience with the staff. You will most likely have to wait to be seated, this is a smaller restaurant and I’m happy that it’s constantly busy whenever I go.
Remember to tip your sushi chefs as well.
My ONLY complaint is that the music is very loud, inside and out. It’s hard to have a conversation.

Small and very busy

Went for lunch after my favorite Thai place closed down. I've been to 6 different restaurants trying to find a comparable match as far as taste. This place had a Great atmosphere, the server was friendly and accommodating to my requests and food was really good! It's definitely my new thai spot!

This is our go-to place for sushi in the area. The sushi is consistently delicious and fresh! The portions are great. We also enjoy a house hot sake every time we go.

Occasionally we get the Thai donuts for dessert and they are always a crowd pleaser. We've brought family and friends here for special occasions and they've always left happy!

One area of improvement is the line to get in. Because it's so good, I understand it's going to be busy during peak hours, but I would appreciate there being a host/ess who can manage the people waiting.

Service was great and the food was amazing. Atmosphere is fast paced but very cozy. Definitely will return for another meal. Menu is loaded with many options.

New to the area and Thai is my favorite cuisine so I thought it would be hard to find but wow was I wrong. Kub Kao is so delicious. We basically ordered the whole menu to try all of our favorites and we were so impressed. My go to is usually Gyoza and Red Curry and it did not disappoint. But the star of the show was Hero, our waitress. She was 1000% on her game and knew her stuff. She gave us her honest opinion on items and is a sweet heart. Food is obviously the main part of dining out but it is because of Hero we retuned. Definitely check out Kub Kao and ask for Hero. She will be the one with a huge smile on her face!

Updated: 9 months later and this is our favorite restaurant. We come 1-2x a week and it is always delicious. I only suggest that you lower the music a tad bit and play something else rather than hard techno. Kills the vibe a bit.

This place SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All they had to do was PRINT SOMETHING BUT NO! THEY COULDN’T EVEN DO THAT I WAS HAVING SUCK A GOOD DATE WITH MY WIFE IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY AND SHE LEFT ME BECAUSE OF THIS MISPRINT. I SLAMMED THE CUP ON HER HEAD AFTER THIS. I HATE THIS PLACE. NEVER, NEVER COME HERE EVER IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE.

I absolutely love to try new food and the sushi me and my friends shared here was probably some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The ingredients are fresh and the combinations they have on the rolls we tried blended so well together. The service is very nice too all the servers are friendly and competent. Definitely would recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back and try more

I’ve been coming here with my family and friends ever since it opened. Food is spot on every time, wait staff is always friendly and courteous. Sushi and Thai portions are large and with great presentation. A quaint restaurant with a fun atmosphere.

I couldn't wait to try this place after reading reviews, here's my experience, I placed order online tells me 25 minutes till my order is done.
I get there the lady says oh sorry we didn't check our online orders please have a seat we will get right to it, (ok mistakes happen) the take out guy walks up to me 3 times with the wrong order then another waitress walks up to me with a bill that I already paid online. (she looks very confused so I show her receipt)
Finally food comes I take order and go home and realize I paid extra for brown rice but only came. home with white rice.

The food looks fresh and tastes good but a flipping nightmare to get it.. I hope it was just a bad day>>

Not only was this the best Thai food I ever had in my life, it was also one of the best service I’ve ever experienced ! The food came out fast & fresh and delicious. Me and my wife loved it soo much. We will definitely be back. I’m leaving this 5 stars so some other beautiful couple can experience as good of a dinner that me and my wife did. 5 stars and beyond.

This might be my new favorite sushi spot and I don’t even live in Broward. Everyone was really kind and the food was amazing! 10/10 on presentation. Will definitely be coming back and recommending.

The atmosphere is good, food wise my boyfriend ordered a dish and they brought a really spicy dish that he couldn’t even eat it and he’s used to eat spicy… when I made the complaint my waitress offered me to put the dish in a box when we couldn’t eat clearly, I asked for the manager or someone in charge and she refused saying no one in charge is there and they can not remove the dish from the check. Ridiculous!! In general the customer services is bad. I saw a couple leaving after waiting for 30 min for a waitress.

Love this restaurant so much! I order takeout regularly and dine in occasionally as well. Food is amazing and the service is incredible. Waiters are attentive and polite.

Nice, chill environment. Food is really good and the spices and flavors are excellent. The service was great, they came back to check on us multiple times, I believe the chef also came out and went to each table.

Best curry in town. Excellent service as well.
