For starters, one of the best sushi’s I have ever tried. The portions were generous and I could taste how fresh it was. The gyozas were amazing, the flavor, the texture was just great! Prices are excellent compared to the portion that you get.

The service was excellent however that specific day they had a lot of take out orders and the place was crowded so the service was a little slow, however this is a family business and I do appreciate their efforts.

I appreciated a lot the sushi chef’s attention, when he delivered us the sushi he was attentive to what we were missing and went running to get it.

Ordered the sushi $ sashimi boat for two as well as additional rolls. The food and freshness overall was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be there again.

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I love dining here once per month because the portions are the biggest I’ve ever seen and the owners are incredibly sweet and hospitable. I’ve probably been to over a hundred Thai & Sushi Restaurants and the two things I always looks for is how fresh the fish is and how well the rice is cooked and I’m not exaggerating, this place is a 10/10 on both. The fish tastes like it was just caught that day and rice is soft and sticky. When you dip into soy sauce, the rice absorbed the flavor but doesn’t fall apart. Truly amazing. I hope to come here for years to come.

We enjoyed the sushi that we took away the first time we tried Tobu. Sushi must be fresh and of good quality. However, we did not enjoy the Thai food that we had on our 2nd take out. The vegetables were over cooked and we are sure that Tobu can deliver a more quality and authentic Thai experience with some more effort.

Food was decent, service was awesome considering we were the only dining in table there.
Atmosphere needs to be remodeled and food selection needs to be more plentiful.
Don't really have any desire to dine there again to be completely honest.

THE BEST SUSHI IN CORAL SPRINGS / PARKLAND. We have tried MANY sushi places in the Coral Springs / Parkland area. Tobu Thai is our absolute favorite. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired but the sushi is FRESH and DELICIOUS. The service is always extremely friendly as well.

I stopped in to see the menu and asked if they have vegetarian items. The lady at the desk was quick to answer harshly and abruptly "absolutely nothing." So I inquired if they could make the pad thai, any of the curries, or any of the stir fries without the fish sauce. She outright refused.

I was parusing the menu anyway and seeing that what she said was was a lie as they have a spring roll, a vegetarian sushi roll, and a vegetable soup amongst various other items. And I'm sure they could have modified many others but just didn't care or want the business.

Consistent with her abrasive attitude, while I was reading the menu the lady then went on to make a statement that literally every Thai restaurant I have ever been to has lied about items being vegetarian just to gain business. Based on food allergies to fish if this were the case every single one would be closed for lawsuits haha

Needless to say I didn't eat here I would never support a restaurant who not only refuses customer service but has animosity towards people who are trying to support their establishment

I have been going to Tobu since 2019. It is family owned by the most wonderful people you will ever meet. My partner, who has known the owners since he was young and even worked here a decade ago, brought me for a date. It has been our regular sushi place since.

We are moving out of state, and this sushi restaurant is one of the things I am going to miss the most.
Nobody makes Thai tea or curry as delicious as Tobu! And their sushi is the freshest.

I will never forget all the wonderful memories and amazing friends we made here.

When we first walked in I was a bit skeptical. It was pretty empty and no one greeted us for a good 2 min. But we gave it a shot.

After we sat down we realized oh! There is only 3 ppl here. It's the husband and wife (assuming) and a server. And yet they were cranking out to go orders like mad.

Our server was very pleasant and we were helped several times by the owner lady.

Ok now for the food:
I ordered a sushi dinner and man oh man was I pleasently surprised! The fish was super fresh and melted in my mouth. The rice was nice and sweet. It was a perfect combo.

My friend got the cashnew but chicken and was not very happy. He said the sauce was too watery, the chicken was doused in the sauce but because there was no thickness the min you ate the chicken the flavor was gone.

My only comments would be PLEASE fix your tables! They are so wobbly!

I don't know about my friend but I will sure be back from some more sushi goodness.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. I love it so much that after moving to Port Saint Lucie, I still some times make the drive to pick up my favorite sushi. It’s always fresh and never dry. The staff are incredible and know me just by my order. They are friendly and extremely accommodating and thank me repeatedly for visiting. I will continue to make the trip for my favorite sushi in all of south Florida.

It's a small family owned and operated place, so much of the food is made to order, even things like the crab Rangoon. It's all delicious and the family is sweet, it's fresh, great prices. This place should be the top sushi restaurant anywhere.

Placed a phone order, went to pick it up and was greeted with a smile. Verified my order was correct and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered the combo fried rice extra spicy and it was extra spicy as ordered. The rice was good, large portion so much that I'll have the rest for lunch. Nice mom and pop style place I recommend trying.

Visited this restaurant with my parents a week ago and I just wish we knew not to even step foot into this dirty restaurant. I understand that there are staff shortages but the lady who served us had a horrible attitude. Anyways onto the food we ordered he shrimp padthai and when it arrived at our table it literally smelt like dog food I literally wanted to throw up. Anywhoo, we did pay money so I took my chances and ate it well I had to go to the bathroom immediately after. I brought home some food for my husband who refused to eat it because of the scent so I knew I wasn't alone. I am so shocked this business is still in business because the service and food was horrible, NEVER RETURNING.

Service was bad. The chopsticks were very cheap and full of splinters. The food was terrible the portion of the sushi was a lot and the construction of the roll broke off if you pick it up and the rice was too sticky and hard to chew. The lady who served us poured water into my drink when I had a soda.

Service and personal touch was excellent. The atmosphere is enjoyable. However there were a few things that did not impress. We went for lunch. They were out of Edamame, they were out of Ikura and apparently don’t keep it in stock/have to throw it out because it’s not ordered often and it’s “expensive” (it’s on the menu). The ginger dressing had an unusual flavor but some people may love it. The Tuna however, had a strangely sweet after taste that stayed on the tongue long after consuming one piece which was odd. We won’t be returning.

The rules for dining-in is not clear. My friend dined in on a Tuesday, and I came on a Thursday, and they told me they only have done in for Friday’s and Saturdays

I love Thai and Sushi. I understand that some variations on Thai are closer to traditional Thai than others. I try to cut Thai restaurants slack that way.

Tobu is one of those places that I don't see myself revisiting. The music was competing with the television, making an unpleasant audio background. The smell from the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Pad See Ewe was revolting. (That can happen if you use too much lime juice or fish sauce.) The service is mediocre, if friendly. The experience had me wishing for Thai restaurants a stone's throw from here. The sushi roll was at least passable. Overall, it's the least satisfying dining experience I've had in a long time. Not recommended.

Sushi is decent/good. Good size rolls and fish seems fresh. The knock on this place is that there's only one server and one sushi chef, service can get very slow very fast. Seems family owned and operated. They will go above and beyond when the service is slow and offer you freebies.

Have never actually be inside the restaurant but order from them at least, at least once every two weeks and the quality has always been great. My husband has a crab allergy and they have always paid attention to instruction in regards to subbing imitation crab for the snow crab in the rolls. Delivery was always wearily except for one time but they also gave us a free dessert with a hand written apology for being late. Will hopefully go in for a meal one day but happy with everything when it comes to delivery from them!

I have been getting take out here for years. Tonight I dined in with my son. They said they could not accommodate my shellfish allergy which is surprising since they always did for take out. I eat sushi often and all other sushi restaurants accommodate me. I will not be back.

Ordered the grill teriyaki salmon roll. The salmon is NOT GRILLED, it is boiled. The fish is mushy. The roll is fishy and taste terrible.

They do their very best to take care of all their customers, but they have A LOT of takeout orders, and usually the only people working are family members, which means one person could be taking care of both serving the dining room and preparing the take out orders. Bottom line: If you want a good authentic Thai or sushi meal, this is most definitely the place, but if you're in a hurry, go for takeout.
