We proudly serve authentic Thai food from the central part of Thailand around Bangkok. Thai food can be quite different from one region of Thailand to another. It is likely that what you are served here may be different that what you have received at other Thai restaurants. We hope you enjoy our recipes and we are happy to make accommodations to suit your taste as best we can.
We offer entrees with your choice of spice level. Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options available upon request.
Thai Spice is a charming, cozy spot with attentive and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. We started with the dumplings, which were filled with pork and shrimp. OMG—they were absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors.
For the main dishes, we shared the Yellow Curry with beef and the Basil Fried Rice with chicken, both at a medium spice level. The Yellow Curry stole the show with its rich, balanced coconut flavor infused with just the right amount of heat. It was incredibly satisfying and flavorful. The Basil Fried Rice was also enjoyable, though it could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste as it was slightly bland compared to other versions I’ve tried. Still, it was tasty and well-prepared.
Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we would definitely come back to try more dishes. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Thai flavors!
Ah, Thai Spice. Dining here isn’t simply a meal; it’s an invitation to taste Thailand’s best flavors wrapped in elegance, with a little zing and a lot of heart. Having ventured through nearly every corner of the menu (purely for “research,” of course), I can confidently say that every dish at Thai Spice is a culinary victory.
The experience begins with a delicate bowl of soup and a crisp, golden spring roll. It’s a small, delightful tradition they offer when dining in, like a warm hug from the kitchen. The soup is rich with layers of flavor—an aromatic introduction to the symphony to come. And that spring roll? Light, crisp, with a burst of fresh veggies, it’s the perfect companion, like a good friend who knows exactly what you need.
Now, let me tell you about my personal heroes: the Spicy Cashew Nut and the Pad Thai. The Spicy Cashew Nut is a dish with a touch of fire, balanced by the warmth of roasted cashews and vibrant, crunchy vegetables. It’s bold, but also comforting, like a spicy jazz tune that hits all the right notes. This is the dish that knows how to make an entrance and leave a lasting impression.
And the Pad Thai? Oh, the Pad Thai! Tangy, slightly sweet, and always perfectly balanced, it’s the classic that reminds you why classics exist in the first place. Each noodle seems to have been seasoned with both skill and a hint of magic, and every bite feels like a little celebration.
Beyond my favorites, every dish at Thai Spice carries that same commitment to flavor and authenticity, making it impossible to go wrong. I’ve never been disappointed, whether it’s a tried-and-true favorite or a new discovery. Every dish is like a handpicked gift, crafted to delight.
If you seek a dining experience that’s both refined and joyfully vibrant, where every bite feels like a new adventure, then Thai Spice is your destination. Bring your curiosity, bring your friends, and most importantly, bring your appetite. Thai Spice will do the rest.
Fresh and delicious!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the whole area. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are phenomenal. I wish I could give more than five stars. The taste is 100% authentic. If you have never tried Thai Spice, I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.
Update~ I just recently returned to Thai spice and the food consistency is spot on and it’s just as good as last time I was there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Delicious authentic Thai food. My wife and I have been looking for a place with authentic Thai food. We finally found it. This little gem of a restaurant is well worth a try. Excellent customer service made to order food items. If you have discerning taste buds looking for exquisite taste, try this restaurant. You can thank me later.
We were in Brooksville and decided to check Thai Spice out for lunch. We both had the pad Thai. I had the chicken, hubby had the beef. The food was tasty and plentiful. I had enough to bring home and had left overs for supper. The staff was very friendly and the service was very good. We will go back next time we go to Brooksville
This is our favorite Thai Restaurant. We eat there about once a week. Food is excellent - Our go to items are the curries and ginger mushroom. Look forward to Mango Sticky Rice season as well. Service is perfect!
Dumplings were very good. Pad Thai and garlic black pepper were both very good.

Food was delicious! Lots of vegan, gluten free options! The atmosphere was simple but clean.
Amazing food, great service, and a welcoming family environment. The dishes are full of flavor, and the staff makes you feel at home.
Absolutely fantastic. Have had pad Thai and drink noodles here and extra thai hot and all of it on point.
Great Thai curries. We got the tom yum soup, green curry, panang curry and massaman curry. Fast service and reasonable prices.

I was happy to learn that a Thai restaurant was nearby, and I had high hopes.
However, my experience was disappointing.
The atmosphere could have done with a little less lighting, but then lighting is not the real issue. The issue was the actual food. I ordered a panang curry w chix. I ordered it Thai hot which is no problem for me. It wouldn’t rate as Thai hot. Coming from Boston and DC I’m fairly confident on knowing what quality food is. But in saying that, I’ve had great Thai food in bumfuk nowheresville Kentucky. But back to the food. The curry appeared gravy like as if it was from a jar w stabilizer and thickeners. And the copious amount of vegetables were obviously frozen. The chicken was so minced I couldn’t differentiate it from the bland overcooked rice. After a few bites I had to stop. It was inedible. The server, who was very nice, seemed to know I was disappointed.
As with some many ethnic restaurants in the Brooksville/HighPoint/ Weeki Wachee area, restaurants water down their fare to appeal to an audience they feel doesn’t know what authenticity is, and that they may not value that authenticity. This is a big mistake. If you’re a Thai restaurant make the food like you would make it for your own family. There is no need to change the recipes or water it down. Many people who live in this area have retired here from places where serious authentic ethnic cuisines are familiar to them. Thai Spice should elevate their fare to classic dishes that might scare off the “know nothings” and appeal to the audience that is starved for real authenticity. They are here. And unfortunately they drive to other areas to find real, authentic, high quality cuisine.
So, I guess I have to drive to Ocala or Saint Pete to eat Thai food. Damn!

Excellent all the way! Delicious food. Their medium spice level has a nice flavor to it!
I enjoyed the Tom Kha (thai spicy) with chicken & Angel Wings. Delicious, flavorful, a lovely slow building heat in my soup, no hunting for krab in the angel wings, the surprise fried springroll was a delightful bonus with my soup! The servers were polite & pleasant. Clean, tasty & reasonably priced!
Everything was great

Very nice restaurant. Very clean. The server was very nice. We shared the sampler appetizer and it was really good. Chicken satay was cooked perfect. I will go back.
One of the best restaurants in the county for sure, fresh delicious food everytime.
Flavorful and good portion size. Recommend the iced coffee, curry puffs, basil rolls and Thai fried rice.
We used to make this spot our weekly take out fav but recently the portions, quality, and taste have been on decline. Always tasty, fresh, and on point, the past couple of times have lowered the standard and what we come to expect on every level.
Fresh basil rolls were flimsy and partially filled as if they ran out of ingredients when making and decided to just go with it. Pad Thai with chicken was barely flavorful and the chicken was almost nonexistent. 3 pieces of less than quarter sized meat is not a norm for this dish and neither is the lack of flavor. Tasted bland and an afterthought. My Tom Kha have enough chicken in it, but tasted as if someone new to thai cuisine decided to try making the soup with no prior experience. It was off, was disappointing.
The Pad Ga Pow and Nam Tok Beef, while smelling delicious, suffered the same fate of as the Pad Thai that being, miniscule amounts of beef in the dish. Was there a shortage? Who knows but charging people for meat and giving them 3 tiny bits in the dish isn't cutting it when we've come to expect more which is why we frequent this establishment.
Three stars because the orders are usually correct, the ease of ordering and picking up still a breeze even if there's little to no interaction beyond getting asked for name and handing a bag odd. Product taste, amount, and quality are on decline so buyer beware. What you get today may vary tomorrow, inconsistency does not a good restaurant make. Can not comment on dining in, but the place goes from completely empty to full and as of late its less and less crowded than usually was month prior so go with caution.
This is how Thai cousins shall taste. I've been there many times and I have never, ever been disappointed. You should choose the spice level you like/prefer. Remember that Thai food can be very spicy. I prefer medium myself but would recommend a very low spice level if you are not used to Thai food. Yes, this is Thai food made by people from Thailand. It's not some watered down American modifications. I have taken several of my friends there and will continue to do so.
We had a delightful dinning experience at Thai Spice. Soon as you walk in the door ot smells so good. Exceptional clean, friendly staff and quick service. The food so absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back for more!
Idk what happened to the quality. They used to be good. I don't go here often anymore, but when I do they mess up AT LEAST one dish served to my table. They DON'T serve any truly exceptional Thai dishes that would make me come back here. ONLY redeeming quality.. they are the only thai place around Spring Hill open on Mondays.
The food here is amazing. Takes me back to Thailand. The service is excellent. I ordered delivery, and they forgot to send my Thai iced tea. They actually called me without me calling them and gave me store credit. I really love this place.
They could not accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. The staff really didn’t know the menu. We had to leave.
Unfortunately, I have to say that the Pad Thai I ordered a few days ago was the worst I've ever had. The dish didn't resemble Pad Thai at all. It had a strange smell and, unfortunately, there was no hint of tamarind, which is essential for a proper Pad Thai. For a price of $16, I expected much better quality. I strongly advise avoiding this dish.
This place is amazing
Fresh and tasted homemade. Loved the dumplings and pad Thai. I will come back.
Delicious food and great customer service! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
This establishment will give you the wrong food and then threaten to call the police when you request a refund. Don’t eat here they took our $50 and threatened us after we asked for it back
Coconut soup is outstanding, also had pad thai and it was great. Small place with tasty food .
Ok thai restaurant
Finally, I found a not just good but a fantastic Thai restaurant. We've been twice in one week. I love all Asian food but my husband not so much. After our first time here he kept raving about it. To the point that tonight is date night and he picked here again. That says a lot. The food is amazing, everything we've tried has been perfect. Only problem I see here is they need a bigger restaurant.
UPDATE. I decided to order a to go lunch. If you do that they charge you the same amount as if you're eating in but you do not get the daily soup so I asked if I could have an extra spring roll in place of the soup. It was a firm NO. She was very rude. She offered to add the extra spring roll but charge me. Oh, and don't ask for extra sauce to dip your spring roll. They either give you the tiniest cup I've ever seen, you may get 2 scarce dips or they'll give you a little bigger to go cup but it will only be 1/2 full so again just a couple dips. I'm now searching for a better place to order to go orders..
My first visit. I had the sampler platter and everything was delicious! Very friendly and fast service!
Food was average, our server was great sorry I didn't get her name
Love the food here. Pretty addictive and consistent
I absolutely love this restaurant. Never had anything but great food.
So glad we decided to stop in. The service was fast and friendly. The green tea came with a little side of honey. The potstickers were amazing and the food was great. Large portions and they even offered my daughter a kid portion (that still fed her for 2 meals!) can’t wait to come back!
Food poisoning
Clean restaurant, good service and food is delicious.
Just good everything.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT all around! Thank y'all🙏🏾
Stopped in for first time with a friend for lunch. Service was fantastic. All the ladies were so pleasant. I had Red Curry chicken and it’s probably the best I had here at this location. Atmosphere was nice. I will definitely return!
Absolutely love this restaurant! The appetizers are fantastic and I love to get the chicken pad Thai. The food is always really good and they have a lot of great drinks as well. It’s a nice atmosphere, and the service is always excellent. They do get very busy, so you want to make sure that you have some time to wait for a table if it’s not available immediately. But this is a place that we love to go to have some great food in our area.
Wish they would fix the delivery. I’ve called and asked but can never get a straight answer. I’m only 10 min away and it’s saying I can’t choose delivery but when I call I’m told there’s not correct.
I have only eaten inside once and have ordered pick up multiple times. I love the food. I get the yellow curry almosy every time I order. Everything I've had so far from here has been tasty. They also actually make the food spicy when you ask. It's not watered down spice.
WOW! I was pleasantly surprised at the level of freshness and quality. I started with the Sample Appetizer. Much fresher than anticipated. The Chicken Satay was especially great. As were the flight of dipping sauces that accompanied the dish. I ordered Chicken with Green Curry for the entrée. I can't believe how fresh it was! The flavors were bright and delicious! I grew up in NY and this is by far the best Thai food I've ever had! From the crispness of the vegetables to the sheer freshness of vibrant flavors to the friendly, attentiveness of the staff. Beautiful! And the place was IMMACULATE!
Food has never once disappointed me, and the staff are amazing and attentive.
We have become regulars here. Everything we have ordered has been delicious! The service is always extremely friendly, this is our favorite Thai!
small seating are, very tight. more conducive to a takeout, plus no beer in a Thai restaurant is a no go for dine in. When it comes to eating spicy Thai food who does that without a Singha...jeesh!
I love the food here. I order either the Pad Thai or Sweet / Sour Chicken. Both are very fresh food, crisp veggies, white meat chicken (unfried), and the rice is sweet Jasmine and cooked perfectly.
Small restaurant but great food
Lucky to have one the best Thai selections in the Tampa area relatively close by.
Tried for the first time....not a fan. Dumplings read pan seared but they are actually deep fried. Red curry was a disappointment. Pad thai was not good. I know I see alot of good reviews but this is a disappointment to say the least. Will not be back.
Great food. Delicious peanut sauce. Great service. The vegetables were cooked perfectly.
Great food at a reasonable price.
First time customer today, absolutely delicious authentic Thai food, fantastic service, great serving size. The Pad Thai was amazing. Will definitely be back 👍👍👍
Best authentic Thai food around. We've had Thai in many major cities, including Chicago and New York, and Thai Spice rivals them all.
Since we moved here over two years ago, we go at least once per week.
Very accommodating staff, cozy atmosphere and good service.
The food is good
My new favorite Thai restaurant. I've tried many, and this one is legit, authentic, Thai. The ladies who run the place are great. They're friendly, kind, and make the best curry puffs I've ever had. Their basil fried rice is amazing. I've never had anything I didn't like.
Stopped by for lunch based on Google reviews. We had the pad Thai and some soup. Neither disappointed. Thai Hot level is was right amount for me.
Food was fresh and tasty...good spice level. Waitresses were friendly and efficient. Place was clean.
I'll be back...
Good.food.reasonable prices. Good wait staff.
Massaman Curry was more of a broth. Very diluted and watery.
Place is a little small, but the food is amazing. Everything tastes great and is served pretty quickly.
First time checking this spot out. Delicious pad thai (huge portions). Really great lunch spot
The food and service is always amazing thank you
This place is excellent!! The reason for four star on the atmosphere is they recently opened. The way food tasted and the service was spectacular, they will outgrow this place. A must go.
Great Basil Spring rolls. Thai house fried rice was very good too.
Nice little place for Thai food. Food was good and fresh. Quantity was enough for 1 person. Noodles was better than fried rice. There were not enough seats to dine in when we visited so we took take out. Big parking space.
Never disappoints. The food is great!
Only complaint I have is the shrimp has the tail on otherwise the meals are always on point.
the exquisite food
Absolutely the best Thai and one of best restaurants around here in general. I have been eating here for about a year and a half now and have never had anything less than a stellar experience. The food is amazing! It always tastes just as good as expected, they are quick too and the people there are extremely nice and welcoming. Cute quaint atmosphere, friendly people, Delicious and authentic Thai food. I'd give them 10 star if possible . It's always very clean and if you come during lunch the give you free soup and spring roll! Thai tea is always a treat...I really can't say enough about this place
Food is always good and fresh. Best Thai me and my family has had
Best pad thai ever!
What can I say they do an amazing job. Just wish the place was bigger.
This is hidden gem in Spring Hill. The food is authentic and tastes great. I've had almost everything on the menu and you just can't go wrong. Service is A+.
We love this wonderful family restaurant! The best customer service!Very delicious food!Amazing atmosphere!Highly appreciated and recommend to visit.
Speedy Thai with spice reasonable priced small dine in! No frills! But yummy!💃💃
This place is great. It was highly recommended to me by my neighbor who lived in Thailand her whole life and said this place was legit Thai food. It is delicious. I almost always order the Pad Thai but my husband orders something different everytime and is always extremely happy with his meal. (Stealing off his plate I have loved everything he’s ordered as well) The service is just fine regardless of what people say. They are quick, and if they are ever slightly slow (which I’ve never felt they are) it’s because there are people constantly coming in for to go orders. We got an appetizer, a soda, two entrees, and desert and dinner was $40 not including tip. The young gentlemen that’s usually working is friendly and quick to get us what we need and check on us. We usually have food to take home, good proportions especially for the price. The foods delicious, I see some bad reviews and I ask these people to give it a second chance, I’ve gone 4-5 times and have always enjoyed myself and been super happy with the food! Bland food?! Not at all!! Highly recommend you go :) thank you Thai Spice
First time trying Thai food, was amazing
We used to LOVE this place ! Unfortunately , since the new owners took over it has been a huge disappointment each time . The staff is very rude and seems not to care about the customer service at all . Sad because this used to be one of our favorite places to eat . They made numerous mistakes with our orders and never bothered to fix it. This tells me that they just don’t care .
Great food and staff. Never had bad food place is a little small but I love it.
The best Thai food in Florida !! everything is delicious
Wanted to try this place for a yr now I love spicey food it did not disappoint everything was fresh hot and spicy the shrimp rolls was the best I had two orders it was my 25 yr anniversary and me and my husband had to try there coconut cake and let me tell you the biggest cold slice I ever had go check this place out you will enjoy your taste buds on fire I had white rice with beef and veggies very hot spice and I was on fire lol. Will go again need the shirmp rolls.
Had the pleasure of eating here last night. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered, Spring rolls, Pot stickers, Pad Tai and a spicy salad. Some of the best I've ever had, portions were good and the staff were amazing as well. Recommend if you are in the area and wanna try something different!
We don't have many Thai places here in the area. I found this one to be quite delicious and cooked proper. The place was clean and staff were friendly and inviting to me and my guest. I had the Pad Thia and it was delicious. Expect to spent around $20 per person.
It's worth the stop to try something different. Especially if you have a liking for a bit of spice on your pallet. They need a bit bigger seating area. It almost made me feel it was takeout only with the size of the dining area.
Check it out. You may be pleasantly surprised.
This place was highly recommended to me by a few different people so I finally tried it and was sadly disappointed. The pad thai was inedible and bland, I ended up throwing it away. I’m sorry to say this was by far the worst thai food I’ve ever had.
OMG 😳 Amazing 🤗👅💖
Everything here was amazing last night. I ordered Krab Angels, mild Shrimp Pad Thai, and a sweet tea. Everything on the menu was delicious and cooked to perfection. The pad Thai had the right amount of spice and was delicious. The Krab Angels had the right amount of crunch with a savory filling. The sweet tea was great as well and very refreshing. I'd highly recommend eating here.
Tasty food. No outdoor seating. Lots of people getting takeout.
Very disappointed
I lived in Thailand for eight years. This is the most authentic Thai food that I’ve ever had the owners and the servers were amazing and the food is top notch.
The food is always exquisitly prepared, the heat u request, they r good with slightly modified meals (they accommodate my allergies), and the service is wonderful. Lacks for nothing except white tablecloths, waiters in tuxes and wine.
Best food in Spring Hill hands down! Food is always fresh and staff is always friendly!
This is our favorite place to come when we are in town. Their dishes and flavors are so yummy!
Very small dinning area, wait was a bit long for food.
Great food and Service
Food was delicious
Delicious. Great vegan options. Friendly and fast.
Ordered a lot of the menu. All good was very good.
The food is amazing.
Very surprised! ... food was delicious prices were good as well. Definitely coming more often.
I love a good Pad Thai and hadn't found a place in Spring Hill that quite hit the spot until I tried Thai Spice. Overall was impressed with the taste, freshness, and quality of my Pad Thai. I also ordered the chicken satay which was great with their peanut sauce that was included. My new Spring Hill Thai Food Spot.
Absolutely love this place. Discovered it years ago visiting the in-laws. Now this place is a highlight to my visits. Staff is always friendly and good is delicious. Have yet tk have a negative experience.
Discovered this place by accident ... Glad I did the food is always delicious.
Nice and quaint restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered takeout and it was ready right on time and still hot when I got home! Overall, the flavor of everything was delicious (best crab “angels” I’ve ever had!). I would’ve given 5 stars but the pad Thai seemed to be 90% noodle without much of the other ingredients I love.
We love this place!
Delicious food. Very good service.
👍👍 great food and service at a great price
If you like spicy they can provide! The food is great and doesn't disappoint.
Best Thai I've had in the Spring Hill area.
Nice little spot for Thai food. Reasonably priced as well.
Always amazing food and service.
Absolutely amazing food and flavors at Thai Spice. They have very kind servers, but even more impressive food. All dishes that we tried were finished quickly because each time trying them was like the first time! I would definitely recommend the Beef Kratiem Prik Thai as well as their curries and noodle dishes. Great food to share with family. Please support them!!!
Love it
Amazing family business, really good food. The best time to go is during the day though because the teenage waitress can take a while when it comes to taking your order during the evening lol
Dinner from Thai Spice was excellent last night! The noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce was rich and plentiful and the vegetables were more abundant than normal! My husband had Drunken Noodles and fried rice. We cannot wait until tonight for leftovers! Yum, yum, yum!
Been here at least 8 times the past few months.
At first, I can say it was very Thai taste. Curry was good. Not too sweet like many places which cater to Caucasians taste buds. Sugars!
However of late, food quality and taste has declined. I ordered a few dishes along with the curry chicken noodles, oh boy, it was like eating a bowl of curry flavored sludgey sugary starch!
Also the chicken meats was tough and chicken drumstick meat was very bruised. To top it, noodles was not cooked right. I am very disappointed. To pay $10.00 small bowl.
They used to give discount to military and law enforcement retirees as well but I noticed they had removed that.
But don't slack in your Thai culture taste. I know for a fact that sugars are added in most of your dishes but please cut down the sugars.
Diabetic customers please watch out.
Thank you. We pay your price, we expect quality food too. Fair?
I called it as i see it. We are all paying customers.
If you raise your menu prices, up the quality please!
Had dine in lunch. Service was very slow. I waited about 15 minutes before I was asked what I wanted to drink, another ten minutes before I was asked if I wanted to place my order. When I was done with my meal, I found the waitress up at the counter to ask for my bill and a box. The soup had flavor but the main dish lacked any flavor even though it looked amazing. I was pretty disappointed in the entire experience.
This is dang good Thai for being so far from the city.
Try the nam sod. So healthy and delicious
Food is great.
Love this place! Highly recommend I get the chicken basil fried rice
Service is slow, seems short staffed at times. But this is the best Thai food I have found in Florida to date and my daughter agrees. Recommendation: Chicken Pad Thai, add extra egg scrambled in, and definitely squeeze the lime on it, changes the flavor and it's delicious.
Food good, service sloppy. Four of us to dine, ordered appetizers and our meals. Had to remind the wait staff about one of the appetizers, it came out about one minute before the first meal. Then, nothing for about five minutes, then two more meals came out. Another four or five minutes go by, and the last meal comes out.
The food itself was good (warning, normal spice here is a bit spicier than normal many other places, so if you aren't into spicy, get mild), but to me, it's a bad practice to have ten minutes between meals being served to a single table. Does the first person start eating, without everyone else? Or let their plate get cold, while you wait? Does everyone wait for the last dish? By then, the first dish is definitely not piping hot and fresh.
Overall: food good, spicy, but service does not make me want to come back with friends. Appetizers before the meals, shouldn't have to be reminded, and then please serve all meals within a minute of each other with a small group of four.
Enjoyed the food very much not as spicy as I expected but delicious
Service was fine a simple dining area. Well worth a visit
I’m a thai and I have a bad experience here.
Food is great just like in Thailand come taste it each recipe is great.
Decent price, clean food and good test.
Great Tom ka gai. This soup can pick up or comfort you on any terrible day.
Phenomenal! Just wish the Thai tea was a much bigger size for the price, otherwise everything else was delicious, I chowed down, ingot a sampler kind of deal, Oh! And their cucumber sauce, OMFG it's like crack!! I could literally put it on like everything!! 🤤🤤 Definitely will be back to try more things!
Great food and service. They have the best soups. Curry and stir fry is delicious too. Small restaurant, wish they would move into a bigger space and hire more staff because you only see 1 or 2 servers and it can be congested sometimes.
