The food is similar to what I had back in Asia, and they give you a large amount of it. Moreover, the service is great! I asked them to box my food then I ordered desire and after that asked them to box it also. They did it all with a smile and also advised me to taste better when it was warm. 100/100

There was so much food! My dish comes with spinach meshed potato although you can choose either spinach or sourkraut as well as a giant sausage, huge meatball and bacon. We came here for Sunday lunch luckily without any reservation and were able to get a table quickly without wait. It also comes with meshed potato, apple sauce, sausage, beef stew, beef stew with onion, bacon, gravy and red cabbage.

I have been searching for a Thai place that will serve spicy food. Initially I was disappointed by my first order because even the dishes marked "spicy" were barely what I would consider a 1* in Seattle or SF.

The last time I ordered I asked them to make it "very spicy". The server said they don't normally do it because people order "medium" or something and then complain it's too much...

It was PERFECT. Right at a 4* or 4.5*. On the receipt it was marked "Xtra Spicy Thai Spicy" so I think they still held back some because I am very white. But now I know that they can do amazing spicy Thai and are just held back by the New England palate 😭

We’ve been here several times and it’s been delicious each time. Drunken noodle, pad Thai, pad see ew were all great. Loved the peanut dressing on the house salad as well! The owner and servers were attentive and very pleasant. Our new favorite!

If you look at my history I don’t leave reviews for many places. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and unfortunately it’s also some of the worst food when done just eh.

This place is one of if not the best Thai restaurant that I’ve been to. The red curry (replacing eggplant with mushrooms) and the drunken noodles were fantastic. I ordered the food “hot” it was a nice heat, not Thai hot but definitely had a kick.

This will be the only place I’ll eat Thai food from.

This restaurant is officially closed from 3-4pm. We arrived a little after 2 and the restaurant would not serve us saying they needed to close.
They did offer take out.

If they need to stop serving guests earlier than posted times, they should update their business hours on premise and online.

It was poor customer service to refuse business when the restaurant was officially open.

Needless to say, we will not return.

With bold, fresh flavors; I continually try new dishes and I am never disappointed. The menu staples are delicious and the specials are always exciting. Grandma’s Sukiyaki and the Green Goddess are a must try.

Update - Bangkok Republic just keeps getting better and better. Soy glazed chicken bowl- delicious. Any curry - outstanding. Spinach noodles with peanut sauce - lets just say it's impolite to try and scrape every last morsel out of the bowl. The staff is always welcoming and the service impeccable.

A “hidden” gem on Route 7. I had driven by the place many times but my first visit had me hooked and it’s one of my favorite spots in CT. After two visits the team remembered me and my order. I always get a warm welcome when I come in and the food is delightful. If you’re looking for a warm and inviting spot with delicious Thai you need to check this place out.

Appetizers were amazing. Was very excited for the entree. I had the red curry which was great. One of the better curries I've had. Unfortunately the beef was stringy and not good. Maybe the chicken would have been better 🤷‍♂️. My wife's pad Thai was dry and average. Great start but the entrees were not as great.

We pre order through google and had to actually wait for them to prepare the food when i arrived. Not sure if it was an oversight. However, they are very friendly staff and the food itself is delicious. Small cozy place, never eaten there always asked for delivery.

I happened upon Bangkok Republic today during lunch and it was delightful! I was impressed with how fresh the food was, the excellent customer service and the inviting atmosphere. I had tofu pad thai, which was very flavorful. My husband had pad thai as well and curry puffs. I brought home pho for my son and he gave it a 10/10 for excellent flavor. They have a menu marked with allergens and were very thoughtful in letting me know options that were gluten free. I would recommend this establishment highly and look forward to going back.

I love this place! The veggie dumplings and a fried ice cream is the highlight of my month! Staff is extremely friendly and knew me by visit #2, they always-even when busy-are fast, efficient, friendly, and fun!

So lucky to have this place near by. We order here at least once a month. We try to try something different every time but my goodness everything is SO good. Besides how delicious the food is, the staff and owners are beyond kind. We’ve dined in maybe 2 times total and always order out and they still know us by name. Seriously the sweetest people. This is an amazing little gem in the area. Tucked into an unassuming block of buildings right on RT 7, this wonderful spot combines amazing Thai flavor with a lovely and fun ambiance. Chung King and Ku Kai are the most gracious hosts and their bubbly personalities and incredible hospitality make this place one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Each time we stop in they remember who likes ice in their water, who is gluten free and who likes it spicy. Haven’t had anything we didn’t like, but the kids swoon over the Chicken See-Eaw. I love their red curry and basil sauce dishes, and the Prik King is amazing. Don’t forget to go with the secret handshake and ask for their chili sauces. The homemade chili oil with crispy garlic alone is worth the trip. We have also gone without the kids in the past and sat at the bar. Nice change of pace and the specialty cocktails are a great addition to the menu!

We have frequent to this restaurant four times in the last eight months. I’ve previously done a review but as I’m updating my reviews I wanted to circle back. We had a craving for authentic Thai so we went there on Monday and OMG. The curry duck, the moneybag the papaya salad, the spring rolls oh and the Maui Thai mango drinks so delicious we absolutely love the atmosphere. We love the family, setting husband and wife and the wife sister own and run the restaurant for the first time we sat at the bar and sounded so delightful, because not only is it beautiful, but we were able to mingle with a lot of other patrons, which was very nice And consistently everyone feels the same. The food is delicious. The service is always so warm and engaging and the atmosphere it’s clean. It’s pretty it’s quaint. It’s a great place if you’re looking for authentic Thai with excellent service and excellent food. I cannot say enough about it. Can’t wait to return.

Loved the food. My wife and I tried the Emerald Fried Rice and Grandmas Sukiyaki; both so tasty and unique from what I’ve tried in other Thai restaurants. They gave us massive portions. All around the people who worked at the restaurant were very friendly. The air conditioner was broken so the spice from the kitchen sometimes permeated the restaurant but didn’t keep us from enjoying the experience at all. 10/10 will go back again and try other items on the menu.

Consistently and reliably good Thai food. It's fairly standard as far as Thai menu items go but their reasonably quick and friendly service make it a go to spot.

First - the owners and staff.... Arguably the nicest restaurant staff/owners we've ever encountered. You can easily tell the passion and love this family has for their restaurant, and the PRIDE. Just incredible people we can't say enough about

Second - ambiance and cleanliness. Very nice decor and setup. Made a great use of the space and felt very comfortable with a mostly full restaurant while we dined.

Last - the food. I have eaten a lot of Thai food in my life, love it. The crab Rangoon which they call cheesy stars.... The BEST we ever had. You actually taste crab and not all cheese. Very well done. The money purses....made by hand are very impressive. The food, we got 3 dishes....all were excellent.

Overall 5 stars. We drove an hour to eat here and will do it again. Can't imagine a better Thai restaurant in the Wilton/Weston area.

My husband and I adore this place. The food is consistently flavorful and clearly prepared with care. The warm greetings we receive always put us in a great mood, contributing to a pleasant ambiance. The aesthetics are lovely, and the place is always kept clean. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot that we highly recommend.

Our go to Thai restaurant in Ridgefield (and Wilton). We’re big fans as the food is always great and the people are lovely! Also great gluten free options

my favorite thai in the area! staff are so extremely kind and helpful, they explain the flavors of dishes on the menu and help you navigate. lunch specials are great too- so many choices and generous portions. always love coming here, a huge fan favorite. favorite thing to get is the pho and the chili sauce with chicken.

After appointments, decided to find a restaurant to enjoy dinner and drink.

The owners (husband and wife from Bangkok), family run business, the sellers sister also a part of this hidden gem. were so hospitable and engaging.

When we came in it was early, so the dinner rush was not in place yet.

The dinner rush came about within 30 minutes.

We enjoyed: house salad, Tom soup, crying tiger, hoisin duck noodle, pad Thai (Togo).

Love this spot in Wilton CT. It’s a beautiful hidden gem. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated and immaculate. May be the best Thai food in tri state area.

My friends and I were there last night for dinner very hospitable and personable. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a few vegetarian dishes & a few non vegetarian ones, which were absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our time there with our friends. Will definitely go again.

Made a take out order recently. Quick service and good veggie options. Kids loved the thai fried rice and I liked the spicy drunkennoodle with tofu. Hoping vegetarian steamed dumplings will be added in the menu.

Amazing experience at Bangkok Republic, we came in as a big group of 15+ people and the service was fast, food was delicious, and we all had a great time. Can’t wait to go back!

We drive the 15+ minute trip despite having closer options because not only is this the best Thai food in FF county, it’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had. You won’t find a more authetic menu this side of Bangkok. And the service and atmosphere are warm and friendly. Just be mindful of the spice level.

This is a hidden gem and worth the stop. We came here infrequently for a while and were never disappointed always walking out thinking, "Why don't we come here more often?"

Try the money bags. They have an insta-worthy presentation and they are yummy.
