An average place in downtown Stamford. Went on a monday night, the place was empty. Service was ok. Didn't get cutlery or sauces on our table even though it was on some empty tables, the waiter just bought it over when we asked specifically. The dumplings were not steamed properly, rest of the food was ok. We ordered pineapple fried rice which was good, spicy fried rice was fine, not slappin. Drunken noodles were also okay.

Me and a coworker stopped by for dinner. I had the broccoli with chicken and crab rangoon as an appetizer. The food overall was good and my co worker enjoyed the vegetarian options they had. The service was slightly lacking as the food took over 30 minutes to come out after the appetizers. I would definitely try them again. Just a heads up the parking can be a little scarce as the restaurant is downtown it seems.

The pineapple duck curry is amazing. Friendly staff and big portions.

The taste, ingredients and presentation were not really authentic and I’m not sure if this place is actually Thai owned. That said, the food was mostly good and the prices were fair.

Bad service for pickup

The pad wood Sen is most amazing!!! The noodles are very flavorful and vegetables are cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. Other dishes we have ordered there have been great as well. A really good find!!! We always come back for more. Years later, still fabulous!!!

Absolutely mental. It took more than 20 minutes just to pick up a to go order that was called in ahead of time and should've been ready by the time I got there, considering there was only 2 people in the entire restaurant.

I love the pineapple duck but wish they would put more duck in the dish.

Food is amazing and always consistent! We usually have it delivered but have also dined inside the restaurant. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Food is always delivered promptly. Their fried bananas drizzled with honey are amazing for dessert. We usually order the curry dishes and are never disappointed!

I got a delivery so cannot comment on the service or atmosphere. Everything we ordered was excellent. The curry puffs were denser than other Thai restaurants, but had great flavor. The soup was excellent and had a generous amount of shrimp. Drunken noodles were also well done and had an impressive ratio of chicken to noodles. Vegetable spring rolls were larger than most places and had great flavor and texture. And the green curry was outstanding, with thick, flavorful sauce and a perfect amount of spice. We will definitely order from here again.

Just ordered here, I got the thai iced tea, house fried rice with beef, shrimp summer rolls, and fried chicken.

Thai iced tea was the best thing but that’s hard to mess up. The fried rice had zero flavor, nothing, tasted like bland rice and bland beef, no thai flavors or any flavor, not even salt. I love salt so my tolerance is a little high but I didn’t get a whiff of saline. And also so dry. And they didn’t put any sauces or anything in the bag :( had to ask for hot sauce which is fine but I assumed the basic sauces would be included, my bad. I’ve had paler rice than this with great flavor because the additions were seasoned even if they don’t add sauce to the rice while frying. If the rice or additions were seasoned in any way or if they had included soy sauce or some house sauce, I wouldn’t have noticed anything wrong with it but I hate eating unseasoned things, okay let me move on.

Fried chicken was okay/good

Summer rolls were terrible. Sauce tasted ok but the rolls themselves were absolutely bland, probably an ingredient quality/freshness issue, idk.

Overall, would never return except for the iced tea but can find that at any other thai place.

Really good delicious food. Tom Kha soup, Kong tod (shrimp) and cashew wrap in appetizer and Red Curry in main course is a must try. Reddang Curry is ok but it would be better if there were no potatoes in it.

I’ve liked their food in the past but unfortunately the steamed vegetables I ordered today smelled strongly of seafood. I’m vegan and needless to say I don’t appreciate the scent and taste of unwanted fish in my veggies. They also deliver the food to the wrong apartment often and are rude.

The vegetable drunken noodles were freshly made and absolutely perfect, I also highly recommend the veggie spring rolls and dumplings (pan fried), the veggie curry is delicious too! Very good Thai food and friendly service. I asked for Xxxx Spicy and the came through, with the addition of a sauce on the side. All in my party seemed to enjoy their dishes. I opted for Chicken Pad Thai and it was delicious. Will not hesitate to go back.

Extremely POOR customer service...I was not greeted upon arrival and when handing back my cc, it was placed on the counter instead of my hand. I ordered the Thai rice with shrimp and dumplings as the appetizer. Both were dry and lacked flavor. Also, I was not provided with utensils. Will not return nor recommend this restaurant. People skills are unfortunately lacking.

I've ordered from here a few times and unfortunately have not been impressed by anything. This feels like very Americanised Thai food (everything was very sweet). That being said the food isn't bad - just underwhelming.

For whatever reason, I hadn't gotten around to eating here since they opened - a foolish mistake on my part. Very good food, very good service. Excellent use of spices, everything prepared the way it should be. Handled the "how spicy do you want it" problem just right. Definitely is now our go-to Thai place.

Overall great dining experience and the food is consistently good. I love the tum yum soup and the green curry is delicious.

The environment is good and eating there is okay. Among the dishes I have tried, I would recommend drunken noodles, chicken wings and Thai iced tea.

However, the food is not more extraordinary than that in other nearby Thai restaurants. Not recommend the pineapple fried rice, which is too oily and not “pineappled” at all.

Btw, I really don’t recommend who read this review for a takeout! I have picked up a mango curry for lunch once. I was very disappointed as they only gave me a very small amount of mango curry, which is like an appetizer and tasted too much coconut cream put in. Only 2 stars for takeout experience.

Ordered with DoorDash. Driver went there to pick up food and it was not ready. Driver had to go back 3 different times to get food. An hour and a half later food shows up, no utensils or napkins. Would not recommend.

My brother and I came to Bedford Thai and it was not busy. I had to flag down the wait staff for every single thing while I watched them spend lots of time chatting nicely with other customers. Their Thai tea is really gross. Never have I had something so syrupy and thick - the manager commented “well that’s how Thai tea is.” But it really isn’t.

Delicious Thai food and excellent portions. Had the Malbec, chicken satay to start and then cashew nut stir fry and pad Thai. Would definitely return next time in Stamford. Not usually very busy but the food is delicious.

Really good and fresh food. We had the Shaking beef and a couple of curry dishes. Everything was tasty and very fresh - and not at all greasy. Service was good but not rushed. Place was fairly empty for a Sunday evening but it's been so hoping they get more business soon. I'll be back - been looking for good Thai on the area!

This is a great Thai restaurant! My friend and I order takeout from Bedford Thai on a regular basis and it's always delicious. The times we've made it in to the restaurant have also been very nice. The front windows open like doors in the summer for an awesome ambiance. Highly recommend the drunken noodles and green curry, and also recommend to anyone who has food allergies as they are very accommodating.

Have been back a few times for their great Pad Thai and their Green Curry dishes and they do not disappoint. Spice levels are solid and if you ask for extra spicy be warned it will be. Presentation for Shrimp Pad Thai is very nice done with 6 Extra Large *Not Jumbo* shrimp and its unusual in that they do not separate the ingredients. I hate places where you have to mix it yourself. This was a great touch. Retried the Steamed Chicken Dumplings and again not worth ordering these....

A tip to management. If a customer comes in to order take out ask if they want a drink from the bar while waiting or a glass of water. Really a turnoff when places expect a tip even on take out yet don't treat their customers with any respect. There were two managers waiting for Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc. and treated those delivery people better than customers. Bizarre as Ocha Thai which is quite comparable always offers me a glass of water while waiting.

I tried red curry with jasmine rice, it was authentic Thai food with a big size along with a complementary soup/salad and lunch time has happy hours with less prices . You get student discount if you have school id. So overall it was fabulous experience.

Soggy shrimp Laksa!! Asked non-soggy noodles but served taken all my shrimp out and same soggy noodle again!! Then brought new but still soggy. I felt I wasted my time and money. That’s all.

This place has really good Turkish food, and their kebabs are perfect. The reason I give 1 star, their beer selection sucks.

For a place right in the middle of downtown the restaurant is not too crowded. They have more Thai curries and noodles compared to other Thai restaurants. Apart from the 4 standard curry options they also have jungle curry and other Thai curries which can be customised according to our needs. The starters were not so good but the ambience and main course tasted good.
