The chef brought out our two fantastic desserts (Thai tea ice cream & pandan custard buns) and said hello. It was one of the best overall dining experiences I've had to date. Can't wait to try again

The spring rolls were beautifully presented, fresh and crisp. The tamarind sauce with the rolls was nuanced and delicious.

The pad Thai was excellent- it’s the chef’s mom’s recipe with her own twist- really good!

The Nam Prik Ong- house specialty was outstanding. So fresh and such bright flavors.

We tried the pandan custard- silky, not too sweet, served with salty buttered buns. It was also outstanding.

Everything was made with care, and love. The restaurant is very clean.

The words we heard repeatedly from other diners were “so good!” We felt the same way.

Jeff the host/owner is fantastic and very friendly. I was sad when The Terrace has closed but he reopened as a "street style" Thai place. The food is fantastic and worth the wait. We came with a party of 5 people and each dish was wonderful.

I really appreciate that they do not Americanize the food, this is really authentic Thai street food. The Tom Yum and Pad Thai were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I live in New york and have eaten a ton of Thai before. Really good pit stop on our drive to Portland Maine from New York. We’re gonna be make this our official pit stop place every time now.

Authentic Thai food that’s absolutely irresistible! The aroma alone made me so hungry. I tried several dishes, and to my surprise, each one was absolutely amazing!

We visited on New Year's Day and had the place almost entirely to ourselves! The cozy interior, featuring lovely artwork, and the delicious food (with plenty of vegan choices) made for a wonderful experience. Our server was gracious and attentive. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Ordered three dishes of Pad Thai for pickup today. The food was hot and freshly cooked when we arrived and it was delicious. I am eager to try other dishes in the near future.

This place is a must try! The owners are super friendly and take their time explaining the unique dishes and how you can enjoy it. I usually get the same thing (drunken noodles) but the dishes here are so delicious that I had to try something new. I was not disappointed. Everything had a fantastic taste and presentation. The owner was extremely attentive and we even got to meet the chef. The custard buns and Thai ice cream were the perfect final touch. I can’t wait to go back!

If you want Thai food, do not even think about going anywhere else but here. I have tried most Thai spots in New Haven. Let it Be is on another level. Every dish was packed with intense, authentic flavor that can only be achieved by years of repetition (the Pad Thai is a family recipe from growing up in Thailand). Help them hit their goal of serving 100 Pad Thai's a day and try this place immediately.

This is the first restaurant that has reviews that LITERALLY match their food! Their food is so good!! I love the Boat noodles with chicken. It’s so flavorful. This is my second time getting their chicken fried rice and it’s so bomb! Definitely will be a consistent customer.

Let It Be provides very high quality, authentic Thai cuisine for a very reasonable price. It has the best version of all your Thai favorites. The restaurant is run by people who are passionate about Thai food and love introducing others to it. And one of my personal favorite features is that Let It Be is humble. It isn't tacky, quirky, or corporate. Let It Be simply makes you feel comfortable in a casual, comfortable, quiet cafe environment. And I love that. Support this place. Hear me out on this one: this is the best Thai i have had in a very, very long time. There is nothing fancy here. It is good street-style food, prepared quickly and meticulously and (!) balanced as though it was done in a fully staffed kitchen with more zeros than you would be paying for here. So yes, i am a fan of this place. In addition: just about every dish can be made vegan and GF choices are galore. In terms of the level of spiciness (or anything else really): we discussed my preferences only once. The chef has never been off again. So, what's not to like?

Authentic Thai restaurant! I have been to this restaurants 3 times and tried different dishes from pad see ew, pad thai to drunken noodle. They all tasted very authentic and fresh, the flavor is well balanced. Every time I come, the restaurant has special dishes of the day, which shows how creative and authentic the food is! Great restaurant. Amazing customer service. Our waitress went out of her way to excitedly tell us about menu items we hadn’t seen before and even made recommendations on how to eat certain dishes. They go above and beyond to keep you updated with your order status when you get takeout. Their Pandan Buns have quickly become my favorite dessert in the CT, they are like nothing I’ve had before. Their spicy items are proper spicy and the pricing is great. Also their tofu is nice and firm which is hard to find. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to this restaurant while visiting family right around the time when things just started reopening after Covid. It has been bothering for years that we couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant & my friend just randomly remembered so I had to bookmark this search & write a review.

My experience hasn’t left my mind since that day years ago. This was my first time trying Thai food ever & Jeff, our waiter, couldn’t have been any more patient and helpful. He even discussed with us about visiting Thailand and gave us a referral for places to go & a friend of his to get in contact with when we get there. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We received top tier customer service & chatted with Jeff for a while after our food came. Which brings me to my next point:

The food was delicious. I’ve tried many other restaurants, but nothing has compared. It was fresh, flavorful, & portions were large as the entrees are meant to be shared. We each would have drank the Thai tea by the gallon if we could’ve.

This place is a gem & has a quaint charm to it. I’m so happy to have found it again & happy to see them thriving! I don’t know when I’ll be back in CT, but I refuse to visit & not stop in before I leave. Thank you!

man this place is ADOOOOORABLE. the staff are super friendly, the decor is incredibly cute & charming with lots of loving & personal touches, the food was creative & delicious - they have some relatively unconventional options alongside all the trusty standbys & lots of vegetarian/vegan dishes. our waitress introduced herself as maggie & she was the best, super attentive & friendly & enthusiastic with a story. i LOVE that this place is in our neck of the woods now, totally a new rotation standard for our household. We tried drunken noodles with chicken and pineapple curry with tofu. Both were delicious and served on big plates and with golden flatwear so that, our delightful waitress assured us, we would become rich.
