I finally understand why this restaurant has such a low rating. I don't recommend dining here until the boss changes the chef.

The egg rolls were okay, but unfortunately that was about it on the positive side. The green curry was pretty bland and thin, and I felt it could use more substance in it (had no peppers or potatoes in it, and the food they did have in it was pretty mushy and sparce). The sesame chicken was flavorless, there is just a very thin sauce that all collected at the bottom so the top layer was just dry, breaded chicken while the bottom layer was soggy and mushy. And I also find their responses to other negative reviews to be pretty immature, doesn't seem they are receptive to feedback. Will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Near I70. Eat here on your way to the ski resorts. They stayed open late for us. The food and service are second to none and I’ve had a ton of Thai food in major cities nationwide. The atmosphere is mom & pop restaurant for foodies. Get the drunken noodles and a Sapporo.

Ordered pad se ew. Great flavor. Skimpy on the broccoli for some reason? Waitress wore way too much perfume-almost took it to go.
Hopefully they read this and back off the perfume. Whole restaurant wreaked of it.

Paid 20$ for what looked like a half ate meal.
Portions are simply too small for the price paid. They do have good food just not worth the price for what you get. They have lunch and dinner entree options . I think they charged me for a Dinner portion and gave me a half ate lunch portion. This seems to be a trend at this restaurant I agree with previous reviews about the small portions.

And as for the “can’t you make at home for 20$” comment from the owner. Yes for 20$ at home I can get 4-5 times the amount of food I was given here I understand cost for restaurants has gone up recently but simply put I can go else where and get larger portions for the same price. Also customer service is part of the experience of going out to eat the owner could do a better job handling bad reviews on here.

Do not order online. It will not be ready at the time they say. Then when you come in they'll tell you it's almost ready. 25 minutes later we find out it hasn't even been started. They should learn how to operate a restaurant.

I was here a couple years ago and remember the food being great. So. Tried it again. Waited 25 minutes after receiving the menu and nobody took our order. Tried waving them down, making eye contact. Nothing. They kept zipping back and forth tsking care od takeout orders. So we simply walked out. Nobody talked to us, apologized or really anything.

Had the veggie egg rolls, pad Thai with fried tofu and the panang curry with soft tofu. Asked for medium because I like a good amount of spice but my husband a little less. It was the perfect balance between the two!
Everything was so tasty but I could eat that panang curry every day of my life and be a happy woman!
We also got two Thai beers, Singha and Lucky Buddha. Both were refreshing.

Food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The only disappointing part was the Coke products were cans instead of fountain. Everything else more than made up for it. They also have different spiciness levels mine was hot how I liked it and my wife and daughter.had mild. A lot of placed only have one space level and I love it when they offer mild to Thai hot.

I ordered online once I went through the initial pain of setting up a profile. The Pad Kra Prow was delicious. I look forward to sampling other dishes.

Wow a new local favorite

The best Pad Thai I've had in Colorado! Everyone has their preference on the taste of the sauce on Pad Thai, but this is my favorite. Not too sour or acidic. The portions are somewhat small for the price, but I'm willing to pay it for how yummy it is!

One of the best Thai Restaurants we have been to. They were specific with gluten free soy sauce and preparation. We had amazing pad Thai, pineapple curry, vegetable fried rice, and some Bao buns. Everything was amazing!

Real Thai is my go to restaurant for a delicious Pad Thai. The food is consistently delicious and authentic here. You’ll find a depth of flavor to their dishes. It’s not going to be a 5 star dining experience, but it will be the restaurant you consistently order from on a busy weekday night when you want some good comfort food.

My boyfriend and I are new to the neighborhood and decided to come in, and wow!!! Everything we had was above average compared to most of the thai food I’ve eaten. The peanut and sweet and sour sauce that came with the appetizers were refreshingly different (didn’t seem like they came out of generic restaurant supply sauce containers), the spring rolls were crisp and the crab cheese wontons had chunks of real crab. My boyfriend got a peanut-based stir fry dish and I got the spicy catfish; both were cooked perfectly and had rich, layered flavors! The peanut dish was sweet with a spicy finish, and the spicy catfish dish had so many different flavor notes that tied so well together. It was plenty of food, I saved my spring rolls for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back!

Good Asian food for the area. The pork dumpling soup and crab cheese wantons were particularly good and our server was very friendly! The pad see wee was a little lackluster. Space felt clean and had a nice atmosphere.

I knew the portions were getting smaller and the price was going up but this is next level! It looks like someone ate half my order! Going to make the extra effort to drive to Thai Gold in Golden next time. Better quality, better quantity, better service.

Placed an order online and was given an estimated time then received an email a few minutes later extending the pickup time by an hour. No way to cancel and no one will answer the phone.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, it was a more than pleasurable experience! All of the staff members were genuinely kind, took the time to explain the dishes and checked in to ensure we had all we needed. My food was hot, the spice level was perfect, and there was a great amount of food on my plate. The taste was the best Thai food I’ve had in four states- definitely coming back here!!

1st of all ... the food here is amazingly flavorful! I get the drunken noodles and my significant other gets the Hooky noodle. So much flavor and goodness. 🤤 2nd of all, the staff here are so passionate about their restaurant and food. They are all so kind and they make you feel welcomed. Everytime we come here the food comes out quick, delicious, and hot! Also, they have boba smoothies that are very good as well. This is the only restraunt I'm going to miss when I leave Colorado.

We went and tried the food for the first time on our date night. Not only is it amazing cuisine, but the staff Works tirelessly to make the experience enjoyable. I had Rad Na and it was fantastic. The noodles were amazing and the Sprouts added just the right amount of crunch. The broth had a certain sweetness to it. Needless to say I ate it all and was pleasantly pleased. The prices were exceptionally Fair too. Will be going back

My husband and I love this spot for Thai takeout. It is some of the best pad Thai that either of us have had. We always get the pad Thai chicken with a side of the crab orchids. We have tried many other things on the menu and they’ve all been great as well. It is our go-to spot almost weekly!

We recently placed a to-go order of basil fried rice and Panay curry with spice level 3. I am usually okay with little spice food but 3 out of 5 spice level is perfect for Thai cuisine.
However, the to-go order was so spicy that we could not even eat more that 2-3 bites. This experience ruined our experience of Thai food. I would not recommend this place for any customer who cannot handle super spicy food.

This place is a reliable Thai restaurant with better than average Pad Thai. They get busy and it can be downright impossible to reach them by phone on occasion. With that being said they are my local go-to and I’m never left disappointed with my meal

Best Green Curry!!!

SO good and I am picky on Asian food. They were so nice about making our food gluten free too. My husband and I both have celiac and we felt great. Ordered the pad Thai (with gluten free soy sauce) and the red curry. A little bit slower service so come when you’re not in a hurry

The entire staff takes their break at the same time, and they do not do anything during this period 😒 drove 30 minutes to try the place only to be told I'd have to wait an extra 30 minutes till their break was over. Call ahead and make sure it isn't break time.

There's not a lot of Thai options in Arvada. I finally tried Real Thai last night. I got the royal pad thai with chicken level 2 hot, and it was delicious! So glad to find pad thai nearby that I like instead of having to drive closer into the city.

We had Tom Kha soup and pumpkin curry and a red bean bun - everything was fantastic!

We saw the good reviews on Google and decided to try it. GREAT good and service! The Chicken Pad Thai was AMAZING! We’ll be back for sure!

I ordered Pad Thai to go and it was delicious! The portion was more than enough; I definitely have leftovers for later. The staff was very kind and my order was made correctly and on time. The only thing I will say is for me personally, the mild spicy level was basically not spicy at all; I'll have to up to medium next time!

The pad thai was excellent . Some of the best I've had in the Denver area. The coconut shrimp while not traditional were delicious. They have spice levels here so make sure you like it hot before you order it spicy. I ordered mild and it was almost too spicy still delicious.

I ordered the Thai tea c boba and the drunken noodles, my gosh it was good! I even had leftovers.
I also just loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The atmosphere is RARE!! The gal who helped me was so nice ,attentive and friendly . I’ll be back, probably soon!

A strip mall restaurant that's plain in decor but we lunch there for the food, which is always excellent. Today we had curry and hooky. We've also had several other dishes and they are the authentic pad thai or drunken noodles in generous portions.

I have been doing take out for a while now and just want to say the food is always excellent.
Try all of their foods as every thing is very good.
Tonight I ordered Real Thai Egg Rolls, Drunken Noodles Chicken, Royal Pad Thai Chicken and Pad Woon Sen Chicken.
Everything was delivered and was perfect.
I highly recommend that you try the soups, salads and appetizers as well.
Well worth the journey every time.

How’s the food? Who knows! No service and not enough staff. It was obvious we weren’t getting our food so we left.

Literally watched a cook come out of the kitchen with latex gloves on, go in the bathroom for about 5 min and then come out with the same gloves on. Walked right back into the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting, walked right out after we ordered.

This place is the best. My stomach is sensitive and their food always agrees with me. It makes my heart and tummy happy. The Panang curry is to die for. Everything is really fresh and flavorful. Feels healthy.

Ordered a curry dish and it was inedible. I tried, but I didn’t want to force myself to eat this watered down, tasteless dish. I’ve never had Thai that tasted like that before, so I’m not sure if something was off with this dish, or if that’s how they always make it. ☹️

Honestly disheartening writing this review. Used to be our favorite place to eat. Their food is great but it's so hard to actually eat here. The hours are insanely limited (opening for 4 hours on the weekends) and closed on Wed. They also aren't open when their hours say they are. They take lunch breaks and close the doors for a full hour (3-4 when they open at 11) which is not posted on any kind of website or on the door. I would surprised if this place stays open much longer literally due to their operating process. Its extremely sad because the food was always very good.

This is the best Thai food in Denver. Seriously: THE BEST. We used to live in New York City, and honestly haven't had anything this delish since we moved to Colorado. BE CAREFUL!!! Open all boxes and check your order before you leave the store. We ordered a prik pao fried rice and got a prik pao noodles instead. This is the second time this happened in a month.

We were told to come back to the restaurant so they can fix the mistake. When we went there (after telling them we will be there in 15-20 minutes), they made us wait for another 10 minutes and basically started cooking our food after we go there. Not going here anytime soon.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to for Real Thai because of the incredible service and food. We dined in recently with some friends who were visiting from out of town (NYC). We all ordered wildly varying dishes and different spiciness levels and I have to say that Real Thai delivered! No punches pulled. I have to recommend the grilled cilantro pork from the Appetizers as a full entre on its own for anyone who just wants meat. Will definitely come here again when hankering Thai food.

I really enjoy this place, the food is excellent. The only reason they aren’t getting the 5 stars is due to very slow service. I believe there is only one person who works the front so it can take a while to get service and your bill at the end of the night.

Overall very good Thai food. Massaman curry was great. Pineapple fried rice was a little greasy but good. We had only water and our bill was $38.

Unnecessarily long wait for takeout. Curry was mediocre and very watered down. Wantons were pretty tasty but old and stale. I'd consider going back to see if their dine-in experience is better but probably won't be ordering takeout again.

We were charged for an entree which was not delivered. The item was circled on the receipt with a note saying they don't sell this, but they were happy to charge us for it. Not just a mistake... illegal at best? Not the first service issue we have had with real Thai. We had a prevuous incident where they coughed in our food. I sincerely regret giving them a second chance. Go to Golden Thai.

Best mango & sticky rice and crab cheese orchids in Denver🤤

I went to this restaurant and when I did my to go order, I asked for #4 Spivey pad Thai w/fried tofu! Generally it’s always fried if I ask for it or not, so when I got to my daughter’s home, I opened the box and low and behold the tofu wasn’t fried, it was warmed but not fried, I was very disappointed!! I ate it anyway because I was now clear on other side of Arvada. The pod thai was good, but the Tofu not so!! Thank you!!

Dining area has been remodeled making for an easier transactional area and a better guest experience. Front of the house changes also an improvement. Unfortunately, back of the house mistakes or misunderstandings persist and quality has diminished.

Spicy! I got lvl 3 n hubby ordered 4. 3 was just right for me, 4 was nose goblin galore.
Decent portions, we dug in before I remembered to take photo.

We love the food and the people

Huge portions! Tried the pad thai, pad see ew, and the pad kee mao and everything was good. Loved the huge portion size for the pad Thai. Takeout took about 15 min and everything was packaged well. Can't wait to come back for their curries!

Definitely My go to Thai place. May look not as busy at times but the quality food always comes out pristine. Recommended place for sure.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all!! The owner is amazing. Everyone is super nice. I have not been here in quite a while. I miss it and need to get down there for some amazing and authentic food!!

Great food. Forgot something on my order and they made it fresh in a few minutes.

Good taste. But how do you justify $14 for a tiny amount of food in the main dish and a bunch of lettuce in the spring rolls.

$8 for 2 spring rolls...more like lettuce rolls. Will not be coming back. Wish I knew how to add a pic of this measly meal

Great experience, one waiter for the whole joint, he nailed it.
I chose spicy #3 it was as hot as I would go. Think Sweet Chili Doritos.
I will definitely come back.

Good food and desserts

We’ve ordered take out a number of times now and EVERY time it’s been at least 30 mins past the estimated pick up time. After waiting over an hour for the estimated pickup, we waited an additional 30 minutes only to be told that It was my fault for ordering through THEIR website.

The food is good, but the service is awful. We won’t be back.

Delicious and authentic Thai food! I am very picky about Asian food, and prefer to only come here.

We only had 2 dishes and they were both good. But their spicy is very spicy. I usually do 3/5 spicy but I would order 2/5 here.

If I could give it a 0 i would!! I’m very disappointed and mad at the same time. I placed an order for take out. they forgot part of the order, and their portions were waaaay small than before. Definitely not going back and not recommending it either! 😡

My new favorite dish is pumpkin curry with tofu. So good

good beer. soup had rice noodle, cabbage and onion with even less tofu and a bit of chicken. I wish they offered beef pho on the menu. sadly, not.

My go to place for chicken pad Thai. Haven’t had a bad meal yet.

Excellent food and service.

3-Flavor Catfish is very good. Nice and hot on a wintery day.

Always a great curry

It's on our monthly rotation. Sometimes service is slow, and the spicy scale seems to sway depending on different cooks, but the food is over-the-top good.

UPDATE: Something changed between summer of '20 and summer of '21. Some menu changes, and maybe a new chef? I would say the changes are for the worse. We still come often, but something is off and it is not as good as it was.

Food is always good here but will not be coming back. Phone in my order at 5:00pm employee told me it was going to take 40 mins. Got there at 5:40pm, I was told my food was not ready and it will take 10 mins. Didn’t leave the restaurant until 6:15pm. Serve didn’t know what went wrong and didn’t trying anything to rectify the situation.
