We were visiting the area and were in the mood for Chinese, and my aunt and uncle recommended this place. I have to start my review by warning you all that five people are considered a large party. I’ve never encountered this and if we lived here, we wouldn’t come back. There was a total of five adults and were charged a 20% gratuity.
As far as the food and service are concerned, the service was okay. My aunt asked for a shot of vodka to add to her martini because her martini didn’t taste like it had any and the waitress took 15-20 minutes to bring it to the table. It may not sound like long, but the restaurant was not busy at all.
The food was mostly good. My shrimp red curry was very flavorful, but my husband’s chicken fried rice was subpar. The rest of our party enjoyed their food.
To summarize, the dinner would not have been so bad if we had not been surprised with the automatic tip.
I was never so disappointed in a shrimp, Vietnamese noodle bowl and all my life of all the fun places and Asian bistro I’ve been to. I’ve never had one that had sliced tomatoes nor have I ever had one that had just slices of cucumber normally it’s chopped or sliced thinly, and the fish sauce tasted like vinegar more than anything, and had absolutely no flavor! I would never go there again!
Went for lunch on 01/26 and didn't even make it past the seaweed salad because it had a caterpillar in it. Won't ever be back. Nothing from the manager but our waiter at least apologized and removed the salad from the bill. I did get offered a new salad but refused and didn't eat my meal as I can't trust this establishment to clean their food before giving it to customers.
I have ordered to go from here twice. The first time I ordered Chinese dishes, almost no meat in them, literally all onions. This time I tried sushi and it's either been sitting for hours or is literally rotton. The seaweed is slimy and black and the avocado is brown. They aren't getting a third chance and now I'm ordering pizza after spending 80 dollars on bad/inedible food. Tuna was fishy and warm.
Update: management was nice and understanding and I was issued a full refund.
Seriously not what I was planning to eat for Christmas dinner but, as it turned out, I should have been dining at this place for years.
Incredible food with impeccable service, who could ask for anything more?
If my picture is attached to this review, clockwise from top left, I had eel, salmon, yellowfin, amberjack, and tuna. The different flavors and textures were what I was looking for but the quality was far beyond my expectations. What a wonderful surprise on an otherwise deflated holiday.
Had dinner at East Moon Asian Bistro & Sushi and really enjoyed the ramen—it was delicious, and the chashu was especially tasty and tender. Also tried some sushi, which was decent, though I wasn’t a fan of the spring roll wrap they used instead of the usual rice and seaweed. It didn’t quite have that authentic sushi feel. Overall, a good experience with some tasty dishes, and I’d definitely go back for the ramen!
The food was decent would visit again
I hate writing this review. This wasmy wife and my first date 11 years ago. But we have had terrible experiences the last couple years.
We just ordered to go yesterday, and the meal was inedible. They made us wait over 30 minutes for pick up. Next we got cold and honestly gross food from the kitchen. We also received sweet and sour chicken with no sauce... so essentialy fried chicken with no sauce so completely dry. We also ordered pad thai with chicken and ut came with tofu. obviousy this was the incorrect order but we couldnt get a hold of anyone because the phne number provided goes nowhere and teh email got sent back.
this pace is a joke.
Safe area.
Clean restaurant.
Prices were decent.
I did not care for the spicy tuna or spicy salmon.

Lots of options for plant based eaters, great service and prices, never had to wait for a table longer than a couple minutes.
We usually get takeout. Their specialty sushis and soup. I do think its a little pricey. Some sushis we have loved others were so so.
Quite good sushi, very fresh and great sustainable selection.
They have some of my favorite foods, and I have always enjoyed the quality. Previously I said their service was slow and lacking. I'm happy to report it has indeed improved. It's still not the same, but we can thank COVID times. Their food remains fantastic, and it now just has a sleepier vibe, which is fine with me.

The restaurant was very slow…they seated us across from the sushi makers. Because they and the servers were bored and just staring at the people eating. We have eaten here many times and never had this kind of experience.
Usually love this place. Not sure if it was the end of the night or they hated us, but the Ramen broth tasted straight from the dish sink. No seasoning and honestly just a bad taste all together.
They use MSG, it's even in the Pad Thai, they don't take food substitutions seriously. We repeated, said no peppers, and we got peppers. The servers are confused, they don't communicate well, or they don't listen well and don't message orders properly. MSG is a huge neurotoxin. It can cause migraines, heart attacks, palpitations, and a health crisis to someone who is either sensitive to it or full-blown allergic. The restaurant should eliminate MSG from wholesome dishes like Pad Thai, which is a Thai dish, and no Thai people put MSG in their Pad Thai, but this group does because they're fusion, with Chinese. That's what's wrong with Chinese food is MSG it should be eliminated from the menu. The restaurant manager and cooks should take food preferences and food allergies more seriously. I didn't like the way the servers mishandled our requests. And then nikel and dimed us on the bill for asking for a substitute. This place needs improvement
Ordered takeout and was told 15-20 minutes. It took over 45 minutes, when they finally asked what my order was, it ended up being behind them for however long. Then was literally the most bland curry I’ve ever had, I didn’t know curry could even be this bland. It tastes like nothing. Lol. So bad. Don’t waste your money - 10/10 do not recommend.
Reasonably good pan-Asian food
Great food! Service was awful though.

Nice large portions, food smelled and tasted great, for the cost it did not seem like a lot of meat in the broccoli beef or shrimp lo mein overall this place was very good.

The staff was accommodating on a busy night and patient with our larger party. The food was good but didn't blow me away. 4.5/5
Was really liking the night in Bangkok at first something I never tried but the flurry of flavors wasn't really my speed and the krab cheese wontons was pricey would love to go back and try their Moon chicken and they had some of the best sushi selection I've seen but also top dollar overall to soon to tell but a nice experience.
Sonny was our server tonight. He absolutely killed it. Before placing any of our order, he asked if we had any food allergies. We ordered several items from the menu and they came out one by one, per our request. From the time we cleared a plate, we never waited more than two minutes for the next dish.
We had an amazing time. The food was delicious, the service was incredible, and it was an amazing date spot. Best sushi I've had in a very long time, the BEST tiramisu that I've ever had, incredible experience.
This is one of our favorite weekday date locations. We do the lunch sushi specials 2 rolls, salad, and soup. Always yummy. I have to admit we went and it wasn't busy at all but it still took forever like over an hour from seating check because the waiters kind of always disappear. Never a quick lunch ita relaxed and chill if you have time definitely go enjoy conversation just don't go if your on a time crunch literally lunch or dinner time.
Atmosphere is good, and food is good. Sushi is fresh and portions are plentiful
Good food and service will definitely be back..
Love this place Delicious
I went here with my friends after a game a few weeks back and thought I’d share my experience for those who plan to eat here. The food is great, vibe is great, the servers… not so much. Many complain or throw fits when they get a table in front of customers and many can be disrespectful. The blonde lady who works there definitely seems a bit rude toward others and you can see her slamming things around constantly. It also does smell a bit rotten inside of the restaurant. Although the food is great, I may plan on eating carryout from now on due to the environment.
I come here pretty regularly, I love the food and cozy atmosphere. Not too expensive either. Service is solid (consistently). My favorites here are the gyoza and spicy scallop roll.
I eat here every few weeks and usually order the same thing because I love it so much!
I order the Sashimi Lollipop which is no longer on the menu, but they usually accommodate me. It is absolutely delicious!
I also order Miso soup, salted Edamame and 1 order of Ebi nigiri.
I ate every bite today! So good!
Never been here before, but had lunch there with my sister. We both ended up getting Chicken Teriyaki bento boxes and I had a Watermelon martini. Service and atmosphere of the place was good. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely go back.
味噌汁が美味しかった
The last three times I’ve came here. They’ve placed me in an area where it smells like a sewer. The food is OK, but not when I’m so nauseous from the smell I want to throw it up.
Will not be coming back and don’t anybody waste their time with that type of nonsense management should be ashamed of themselves
I have been coming to East Moon Asian Bistro for the past 6 years. They have great lunch specials and they have the best miso soup I've ever had.
The food was mediocre at this place but a few dishes in our party were adequate.
What I really didn’t like is the fact that a large party is considered 5 or more. That was a sneaky move to ensure the server gets a tip which she would have anyway. It would have been nice to have it posted somewhere instead of finding out that gratuities were included by checking the receipt.
We don’t reside in Colorado, but if we did we wouldn’t return because of that was kinda shady.

Lots of really good food options with great cocktails. I highly recommend
Ate here in person a couple years ago and it was okay. Nice people and nice looking place. Just had their lunch to go and it was pretty awful. Portions were small, but it wasn’t worth eating anyway. The egg rolls were the worst. So, yeah, bad food.
Happy hour food and prices were amazing.
We used to come here a lot, the food is usually great and so is the service. So not sure if we caught them on a bad day but from the start it was a bad experience. The host just stared at us when we walked in, no hello, nothing. There were maybe 6 other tables of people. We waited almost 10 minutes before our server came & not even a hello, or sorry about the wait. "What do you want to drink." The server looked miserable to be there. The water smelled & tasted absolutely FOUL. The food was eh, we didn't eat much of it & she never once asked how our food was or checked in & just brought us our check without us asking right after she brought our food. Guess you didn't want us there? Will not be back ever.
There was a strange smell when walking in. Could have been me, and it's worth determining for yourself. I've never heard anyone else complain about it. All the smells aside, the food was great! Some of the better sushi I've had in the immediate area. I'll go back, for sure.
They have mice 🐭
On August 14th, 2024 around 5:30 I took my son who is moving to college to eat here as he loves Asian food. Service was great to start , but during our meal a mouse ran over my foot at the booth we were sitting in. I let the staff know immediately and they seem unbothered by a rodent running around their restaurant as if this may be a normal occurrence. They did capture the mouse right in front of our booth, but who knows where they took it, and we all know when there is one mouse there are many. They didn’t offer to pay for our meal all we got was a simple, “so sorry about that” here’s your bill. I was unable to finish my meal as I was so disgusted thinking about mice droppings in my food or just in the establishment in general. After speaking to the manager they did comp my entree, which I was appreciative of, but we will never be eating at this place ever again. Hope they get the mice problem under control.
Started with the spicy edimame and rolled into the pad Thai with chicken. I asked for Thai hot, and it did have a kick! Their iced tea is very light and refreshing, never bitter. Anthony was great and made sure our glasses were topped off. I'll be back!
Typical sushI, noodle dishes, and curries. Nothing special. Scratches that Asian food itch, I guess. Wouldn't go out of my way for it. Nice atmosphere, good service.
The restaurant was really nice looking. We went for a birthday, and the service was really slow. we had to keep asking for refills, and it took forever to order. When we received our food, it was good but just good. If you really like sushi, I wouldn't go here, in my opinion you can get better quality sushi somewhere else for cheaper.
We ordered takeout last night and we had to throw all of it out.
I called to verify ingredients and cross contamination between items because my son is deathly allergic to many things. Everytime i asked the girl on the phone a question, she did not have an answer for me and had to put me on hold to doublecheck.
We had to take our son to urgent care. He is fine now but it was an unpleasant situation that could have been avoided had your staff been properly trained.
I don't recommend this place to those who have allergies.
Smells like an open sewer! 🤮🤢
Literally can't eat when it smells like a bathroom! Nasty. Hope they fix their sewage leak, should be closed until they fix it
Just absolutely amazing all around. I get seated quickly. Left alone to enjoy my community that I brought. The customer service is fast an respectful. Only go to this place.
Absolutely amazing food is so good every single time ..
Loved it and was surprised to learn they are a sister restaurant to Mizu in Denver, which we love! Got sushi and drunken noodles and all were great. Can’t wait to come back!
Food and service was good. The complaint I had was: We were there early about 430. Not many people were there yet. But the music was techno and very loud. We were unable to hear each other very well. We asked them to turn it down but the waiter said they couldn't!?! Otherwise, the food was good (drunken noodles yum, choc mousse yum ) the service was good. Been here before and never had this problem. Hopefully this review will help the servers learn how to change the volume.
We did not expect to find this quality of sushi and noodles in a shopping plaza. Miso soup was the best I’ve had, rolls were great and creative enough, and prices were more reasonable than I’ve seen in years. $3 soup, rolls $8+, drunken noodles (delicious) $13.
Current overall rating of 4.2 baffles me.
Miso soup was good. Liked some of the appetizers. I don't recall if the sushi was memorable. Compared to previous times, the chicken lettuce wrap is not as good as it use to be.
Missing items from delivery multiple times. You can understand it happening once, but not repeatedly. Picked up the food, brought it home...COLD. Guess it's time to find a new place.
Service and drinks were great! Our server, Ruben, was very sweet and attentive. He even gave us extra white rice to take home with our Panang curry! I highly recommend the lychee martini, it was so refreshing. We ordered the saki plate combo (which came with 3 rolls & miso soup), fire roll, and panang curry. The combo was very fairly priced for the amount of sushi you got and extras. The fire roll was very SPICY, it was good, but might not be my pick the next time we come. The panang curry was steaming hot, and delicious! Overall it was a great experience, not the world's best sushi, but really good for the price!
Great people, food is exceptional and fresh
We love coming here for all sorts of Asian foods. I really enjoy their sushi and curries.
We chose this restaurant because we couldn’t decide between Chinese and Japanese and they have both in their menu in addition to Thai. We started with the edamame, found them a little over salty, but we ate them all regardless. We ordered an assortment of nigiri and sushi pieces. It was more than enough. We got plenty to go which we will finish tomorrow. A little complicated to find how to get there, but it wasn’t bad at all once we figured it out. Next door parking garage has easy access to the street where the restaurant is located.
i won’t eat here anymore because of how rude the staff is. especially the entitled younger male who thinks he can be condescending because his family owns the place. lacks customer service and kindness and he could care less. food is no where as good as five years ago. little boy needs some grace lessons.
My kid wanted to go here for their birthday and had a good experiance. Food was good, service was great. Only advice I could give is they need to dust their fixtures. Tables and floor were clean except the walls and fixtures were covered in dust.
Terrible.. bathrooms were gross, the food was cold and even the server said not to eat here.. i walked into the kitchen to see wth and that place was a nightmare!!! Never again
Food quality somewhere in between a Panda Express and PF Changs. Chicken was quite soggy and most breading. food overall did not have a great depth of flavor.
Ordered kung pao chicken to go. What I got was kung pao onions and green pepper.
I've been coming here for years and it started as a great meeting place because it's a central point right between where my friends live and where I do. However, we keep coming back because it's a great restaurant. The sushi is very good and they have a great lunch special. The staff is very friendly.
An absolutely stunning Asian fusion experience in Westminster! We had the Tonkotsu Ramen and Karaage chicken and both were delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cool and dark, perfect for a night out with friends or family. They also have a wide selection of drinks and other dishes. We’ll definitely dine here again!
Eastmoon Bistro is a standout Chinese restaurant that impresses with its top-notch sushi, delightful lunch specials, and unbeatable egg rolls. My go-to dish is the sesame chicken with fried rice, paired perfectly with jasmine tea. The flavors here are on point, and the quality is consistently high. From the crispy egg rolls to the inviting ambiance, Eastmoon Bistro delivers a fantastic dining experience every time. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Chinese cuisine with a touch of excellence!
Dark and overpriced
Didn't seem interested in seating us in an almost empty restaurant. Waited and watched four families walk out and they kept saying it would be a while. So we took the money I was planning on spending for Chinese food and went across the lot to Ramanos Italian Grill, where they were happy to serve my family and receive the $135 for the service. Without waiting for any time to get seated. Oh well.
Good fusion and FANTASTIC atmosphere. Spacious. Modern. Lots of natural light. Beautiful foyer/waiting area. The veggie dish was a nice fusion. The food is a decent mix of various Asian food: Thai, Chinese, Japanese etc. It’s excellent for a group who can’t decide on one type and get a variety of choices. Something for everyone!
Came to eat dinner here around 5pm two other people in entire restaurant. The food needed salt on everything. Most of the food was bland with little to no flavor. With there being so few customers you would think the staff would be attentive but no they all just sat at a table on their phones 🙄
Food was amazing! There was no wait on Saturday at 7:30PM. Great find on our visit to the Denver area.
Edit… We came back for a second visit to the Denver area and stopped again. It did not disappoint. Great service and food again. We will be back.
Great sushi! Reasonably priced cocktails.
They are stingy with the lettuce, for the lettuce wraps. They only give you three leafs of lettuce. So you end up eating 3/4 of the chicken mix without lettuce. They do not give straws for water. Do not like the computer check when it only gives you the option of 18%, 20% or 25%. The waitress letesya would not let you hold it to change it. She was not good and doesn't the 18%.
Got seated and waited for 30 mins for Noone to take our order when the place was half empty, terrible service
Very consistent
Great find!
Great Thai food. Eat here several times a year. This is good considering all the restaurants to choose from across the Denver area and suburbs.
Unfortunately I didn't get to stay long enough to eat any food.;( from the looks of the place. The menu, the hostess and the waitress this place is the real deal! It's packed in the evening for a reason, people like it!
Great food and atmosphere.
We always enjoy coming here. Great food and excellent service.
Everything here was awesome. Good, service, the vibes. We will be back! This is our new go to!
Stopped in for a quick lunch as I was a little early for an appointment. It was great, sushi was wonderful and the egg drop soup was one of the best I’ve had in Colorado. Seasoned perfectly and had all the good veggie extras I like. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Will come back with friends in the future when I have more time and can enjoy some sake!
I’m going to jump right in. The food was horrible! I don’t know how it has over 4 stars. My husbands fried rice was absolutely putrid. The chicken was white and slimy so we’ll be praying he doesn’t get food poisoning tonight. My Vietnamese noodle bowl was beyond disappointing and my daughter’s teriyaki salmon was bland and not worth $25. My advice, go anywhere but here. The only reason I’m even considering 1 star is because of our waiter. He was courteous and professional…I believe his name was Jay and he deserves 5 stars. But food wise, 100% avoid.
Hostess was rude. Service was slow, waiter was forgetful. Food was not good, not horrible, but less quality than average for the price. Some of the sashimi was warm, the shrimp tasted bad, calamari was cheap, soups are not made from scratch, rice was overcooked and mushy.
This time ordered takeout and they forgot an entree. Called them and they were very prompt in refunding the item.
I took my son and wife here for his birthday. We ordered a boat, beers, appetizer, dessert. The service was mediocre as were all the employees standing next to our table congregating with eachother as it was early and not busy. They wouldn't even move out of your way when making your way to go use the restroom. The sushi was decent. When it was time to pay the bill i paid and tipped 15% as the service pretty much was non existent. Asked for a paper copy of my receipt. It never came so we left. A few days later i checked my credit card statement and the MFer went ahead and changed the tip amount to 30% tip!!!! I told my wife never again will we support this establishment!!! Don't go here if you don't want them to change the tip amount on you!!! Will be disputing this charge with my credit card company.
New Edit: I've changed my rating. The last few times have been hit or miss. However, today was a huge miss. The egg drop soup was super thick and didn't taste good at all.
The salad was super watery - as if they washed it but are so busy they couldn't strain the water out.
There was always something on the floor, water or food - and every single waiter just looked down and walked past. (We picked it up as we don't want anyone to slip and get hurt) I am very disappointed in what this restaurant has become.
We've been coming here for sometime, we always get such great service here! Staff is friendly and very awesome
Used to love this place but the last time I ate here, I got sever food poisoning. The 8 hours of agony for eating the questionable shrimp was not worth it.
Now this is a sushi place! The whole area is lower lit than most sushi restaurants, but that keeps the fish from being fishier tasting.
The place looks like it is a high end ordeal, but the prices are absolutely primo for the quality you get. Dude, even their asian salad with peanut sauce is dope!
Always a good place to hit up when you're up north, provided you're not a fish.
Without a doubt the best Asian restaurant in the area. We have tried a bunch of other ones and nothing has topped this. Every chicken dish I’ve gotten is amazing, fresh, and consistent. I never want to go anywhere else
My girlfriend and I continue to come back to East Moon Asian Bistro. Personally, I love that they cook their vegetables properly and their chicken dishes have great flavor. I’ve enjoyed both the kung pao and orange chicken. Additionally, they have great vegetarian options.
I have yet to try their sushi but look forward to dining in one day and trying it.
Definitely one of our go to take out places in the area.
Great experience, good food and very clean and modern surroundings
Worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken…bad mistake. Immediately was sick after leaving, as in minutes after finishing. Definitely will avoid in the future.
Great food very expensive
This spot is consistently excellent! I highly recommend! The variety and quality of food and service is superb.
Great food, awesome service, fantastic atmosphere! Try this place out!
The coconut shrimp is so delicious
LOVED the pomegranate martini. Food was delicious!
Love this place my girl and I come once a week , delicious, I love how fresh everything always is , clean, and warm environment to enjoy highly recommended
Decent sushi. Service was okay. A little bit more expensive than it was worth
Atmosphere was amazing but service wasn’t the best, Thai rolls were basic and the ramen was basic. Meat was over cooked, egg was too hard and noodles were too soft.
Excellent food and service.
Always fire!
Pretty rancid.
Excellent food and great service in a nice atmosphere.
What a delightful find! We stopped here for lunch, and it was outstanding! Excellent selection of Asian fare; dishes we chose were delicious, with artful presentation (sushi and a Thai chicken dish) topped off with great service. If we lived closer, we'd eat here often.
One of my favorite Asian places here in North Metro area! Highly recommend the Beef Fried Rice - it is my favorite! Staff works hard and is friendly even they are slammed! VERY gluten-free friendly! Not a large selection of alcoholic drinks. Beautifully decorated, it is a nice space! Patio seating available, facing East (center square), so you will get lots of shade!
I came here with my family and we all shared some appetizers and then my husband and I shared our entrees. I tried:
- Crispy Calamari
- Dumplings
- Charred Brussels Sprouts
- Shishito Peppers
- Vietnamese Egg Rolls
- Several sushi rolls
- Thai Fried Rice
All of the appetizers were pretty good. My favorite dishes were the sushi and Thai fried rice though. The fried rice was the overall favorite of the table. The combination of flavors was great.
The menu is huge so I'd be happy to come back and try more.
Beautiful, clean restaurant. Our food was delicious & our server D was awesome and gave great service. Will definitely be back.
Delicious food and great service! I'm very picky about my spring rolls but this place did not disappoint!
One of our go to spots for sushi and noodles. I've never dined in but it looks very nice. The westminster roll is excellent.
An exquisite eatery with a rich and wide selection of dishes in a buffet styled settings
Great customer service. Excellent food. Big portions to take home for lunch next day.
Food is delicious. Service is prompt. Acoustics are terrible. I can't hear people sitting right next to me.
Nice variety of sushi
Such great food and atmosphere!! Sushi and Sashimi are amazing!
Got sushi and that was pretty good. Got a salmon bowl as well and said that we had a peanut allergy. Wasn’t even suppose to have peanuts and it came out with peanuts. Didn’t even get a discount for messing it up, just a remake that we didn’t want after.
Worst service I have ever received didn’t get a refill. My food came cold. It was sitting up there for a while. I will never come back.
Food is great. Service is slow and unprofessional. Servers complaining about tables in front of patrons. Servers can also be seen enjoying food in a booth. again complaining about tables when they aren’t serving the ones they have. I sat at the bar took more than ten min to be greeted and 20 min for tempura appetizer. Ordered a tea took long time to receive and was underwhelming. I went back for the tempura because admittedly the food is good. Host informed even though they were opened till 9 they would not seat me because It was 8:40 and they stopped seating at 8:30. It’s an unfortunate entitlement and an odd residual lack of customer service we have seen as a result of pandemic. It’s a shame. I will stop by again hopefully this review will offer some feedback that will help the culture of this restaurant change.
Amazing can’t stop eating. Quality food with amazing service. The decor is wonderful. They have indoor and out door seating. Take out is great to even all the way home it still tastes very fresh. But the hostess are always not quite in it and are sometimes annoying when your takeout is right behind them but they still say it is not ready yet. Love coming here!
Food was delicious and filling! I was craving some authentic Asian food and this hit the spot!
Nice place in Denver
Excellent
I haven't had Asian food this good in a long time. I got the tonkotsu ramen and I can't even describe how good this is. Best steamed pork dumplings ever and the dumpling sauce is unreal. I will be returning very often
You know, sometimes I forget to appreciate the decor around me and I only focus on the food. Focusing on both today, I felt a sense of appreciation for the thought that has to go into every establishment to give us venue goers the right “feels.” And the food here was really great to boot! Delicious, hot, speedy, and Rueben was an excellent server as well.
Hit or miss her guys
Panang Curry was a perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Brussel sprout appetizer was crisp and salty. Bento boxes are a great value
