The food is great and the service is very friendly. Happy to have this place as an option for Thai food.

Diner Review №2

They charge $15.04 including tax for chicken fried rice. US Thai Cafe only charges $11.12 for the same dish, same size. And US Thai Cafe taste better and has a better atmosphere.

Diner Review №3

I have been looking for a great Som Tum "papaya salad" ever since my favorite place closed. This is now my favorite! The Panang Curry was also fantastic. Spiced perfectly too!

Diner Review №4

Love places like this. Reminds me of a similar place I went to growing up. Food was phenomenal

Diner Review №5

A cozy gem inside Viet Hoa. This thai restaurant offered a great ramen and a minced beef with mushrooms. So delicious! Have been coming back twice. Will go back again! Thank you for your great customer service!

Diner Review №6

This was my first time eating here. Fast friendly service. My food was bursting with flavor. I will definitely come again and recommend to anyone looking for delicious Thai food!

Diner Review №7

Stumbled upon Yai Thai and was super pleased with our meals! Great price, was ready early, easy to pick up, and quality food. We ordered drunken noodles, Thai fried rice + chicken, veggie rolles and dumplings. All good!

Diner Review №8

Good food good service

Diner Review №9

Solid thai food conveniently located inside the Viet Hoa supermarket. The dining area isn't anything to write home about, but it's not meant to be. Service was pretty good for an early Sunday drop in.

Diner Review №10

This restaurant has such an authentic feel to it. The Thai noodle boat is absolutely delicious—I just love it!

Diner Review №11

Ordered the coconut soup and fried gyoza. The gyoza tastes like cheap frozen stuff from Walmart. The soup smelled like vomit (over cooked tomatoes and soured coconut milk) the onions tasted like melted plastic, and though I ordered one step below thai hot.... It was not at all.

Been looking for a new place since ponsawan Thai changed ownership and the quality of their food took a dive .. getting pretty tired of finding a quality place only for some cash grab restaurant ruiners to come in and take advantage of the existing customer base by making sorry and cheap versions of the formerly authentic dishes. Not saying this place is doing that, maybe it's just always been bad.

Diner Review №12

Hands-down the BEST Thai takeout I've ever had. They are located inside a grocery store and there is a a small restaurant seating area if you need it, but their focus seems to be on take out. And it is the perfect "I don't want to make dinner" go-to for our family. Fried appetizers were crisp and fresh even after the car ride home. Ramen was delicious. And the phad see ewe hits the spot every time. If you want to pick up dinner on the way home-- head directly to Yai Thai!

Diner Review №13

This place was so insanely expensive. Got pad Thai and it was mostly just salty. No tamarind, no fish sauce, no heat. Just salty instant ramen flavor. That was bad, but what really killed me was that I payed 18 dollars after the service fee. I’m speechless and just feel like an absolute idiot for paying that much for salty noodles.

Diner Review №14

Quick and tasty lunch - we had the crab cheese wontons and chicken satay and pad Thai. Thai iced tea was fantastic!

Diner Review №15

Enjoyed the food here and look forward to trying more

Diner Review №16

Best Thai food ever! Omg yum! Khaw soy was our favorite. It was like a curry soup with noodles.
Amazing service too!
What a treat!

Diner Review №17

My favorite Thai place in the Denver area! They are so kind, have wonderful service & the food is always delicious every time. I love the chicken pad see ew 😍 they give plenty of noodles just how I like! I had it last night and I already want it again today LOL

Diner Review №18

We LOVE it here!!! Truly a hidden gem on this side of town. The portions are generous and it is very fairly priced. We will be back!!

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

Couldn't find it, buried somewhere inside a grocery store - confusing.

Diner Review №21

Some of the absolute best Thai food I’ve ever had! We had the Basil Fried Rice w chicken and Massaman Curry w chicken and both were perfectly seasoned and nailed the requested spice level. We dined in; it’s at the front right of the grocery store, which might turn some people off but it was very quaint and you’ll be blown away at how everything tastes. Very friendly staff and quick service!

Diner Review №22

Epic lil spot, food was very home-y and tasty, makes you feel all warm and nice and the dining area is very clean and feels good. They did play the same song on loop the entire time which was a tad cringe I hope next time I go they have a variety of music

Diner Review №23

Pad Thai was so flavorful!

Diner Review №24

The food is good, the price is good, and the lady running the place is so nice/fun. Definitely check this place out

Diner Review №25

The employees who work here are so genuine and sweet. Really brightened my day. And the food is amazing!

Diner Review №26

Best Thai food we’ve had in the area by far ! Pad Thai, basil fried rice, pad eggplant, curry all excellent. We did ask for no spice on a couple dishes for our kid but they were still mildly spicy- but he didn’t mind and loved the food too!

Diner Review №27

Service was fast and the ladies working there were very welcoming. The food was amazing! I'm from Boston and there's a lot of Thai restaurants there, but this place honestly puts them to shame. 😂

Diner Review №28

YUMMY!! Amazing Thai - such delicious dishes! Attentive and adorable wait staff made sure we had everything we needed.

Diner Review №30

The lady who answered took our order and I am pretty sure she was the only one doing it all. My husband went in to get the order and she was running around like a crazy lady as if she was making the best food on earth but unfortunately this was some of the worst Thai food we have ever had. Maybe because it was an hour before they closed but it was just not good. The sesame chicken as she called it was small bites of what could have been fried chicken possibly cut of skinny strips of chicken sitting in the same sauce that comes with the combo appetizer for the crab Rangoon that was also old food thrown in a bag to passed off as good food. My husband got the pad see you or whatever it’s called and we have never had this dish so over cooked everything was lumped together and had no flavor. The combo appetizer not one thing was edible so it went in the garbage. The white rice was the only thing good and I love flavored food but it was the only thing not questionable. Now the last thing was the sausage it was old dry and had a filmy texture as if it had been sitting all day. I am sorry but we are not from the area and have had food all over the country, and when we saw 4.9 stars we thought it would be good but we were wrong. The lady needs help in there but she was nice.

Diner Review №31

I've been here twice now for lunch take-out as its right by my work - and never had a better Pad Thai. The boat noodle soup and drunken noodles were also amazing. The cream cheese wontons were average and I felt the sticky rice and thai custard were both overcooked but the flavors were still good. Those two negatives don't take away from how good the other food has been though. I will probably try something new every time now, and order a safety-net pad thai. Looking forward to trying the khao soi, larb, papaya salad, pad kra prow and crab fried rice in future visits. I will try to update my review after trying more options.

Diner Review №32

I’m a very picky Thai eater and this place is delicious! Ordered coconut soup and pad krapao, both super flavorful and not too sweet like most Thai restaurants.

I love little hole in the wall, mom and pop shops like this. In this case, it's literally a mom and pop dual running this restaurant that's technically inside of the Viet Hoa supermarket.

We came here in search primarily for Boat Noodles and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! The broth is very flavorful and rich, exactly what I was expecting and craving.

We also tried the Drunken Noodles which were pretty good, the Thai Iced Tea and the Thai Iced Coffee. Look at the generous portion size for the drinks! I appreciated that, cause they were so good I didn't want those drinks to end.

Would definitely recommend coming back. My advice, we got a "medium" spice but it wasn't spicy at all, so I would recommend maybe going up a level to "spicy" if you're on the fence.

Diner Review №36

I and my wife Winnie eat here regularly; we combine it with our shopping trips to Viet Hoa Supermarket. The restaurant is owned and operated by husband and wife. They are kind, personable, and hard-working, and the food is delicious and carefully prepared. I order something different each time and am always pleased. We are happy to support Yai Thai restaurant and wish them success and good fortune!

Diner Review №37

I’m originally from Thailand. I ordered the pork boat noodle for to go.

The boat noodle soup at Yai Thai is spot on. The broth has rich flavor with herbal fragrance and served with bean sprouts, basil, and Chinese broccoli which we often get in the boat noodle bowl in Thailand. The pork meat was tender 🍜

I will definitely visit again 😋

Diner Review №39

What a great surprise! Excellent drunken noodle with tofu. Staff and the chef were very friendly and nice. I’ll definitely come back!

Diner Review №40

Delicious Thai food with excellent service.

Diner Review №41

I am so disappointed at this place!!! We ordered spring rolls, dumplings, tom yum shrimp soup and the pad Thai and everything tasted below average. First of all the tom yum soup tasted like instant noodle soup very spicy and artificial not no mentioned it was only a very small container of colored water with 2 shrimp in it some mushrooms and cabbage!!! The single spring roll we got it was big but was just full of lettuce and greens and 2 little sad shrimp, pad Thai was a very small bowl and just had a few pieces of beef and mostly noodles, mind you we spent almost $50 dollars for a VERY small amount of tasteless average food. Do yourself a favor and save your money! Stay away from this place!!!

Diner Review №42

Very convenient location inside Viet Hoa market! Unfortunately no COVID-safe/outdoor seating option.

Diner Review №43

I checked out this new Thai place. Glad I did!!
The front corner of the Asian foods market has been turned into a quaint Thai spot. The atmosphere I gave a three only because you are inside the giant supermarket! LoL. (Not a date spot) You can do counter service or sit at one of the clean tables. The service was attentive, food was fast, hot and delicious. I ordered Pad see Ew $14, I’m renaming it Pad see yum LOL

Diner Review №44

Excellent family owned restaurant serving up some authentic Thai dishes. The restaurant is located within the Vietnamese market. The owner is from Bangkok!

We ordered Boat noodles, papaya salad, Thai fried rice, and pad Thai!

Everything was delicious. I never had boat noodles before, I’ve heard their dish is very authentic! Although a bit sweet and too heavy for me but I loved the pad Thai!

Diner Review №45

Delicious Thai food in Lakewood! The food was ready fast, the service was great, and the value/price for the portion size is good.

Diner Review №46

Once you understand that you’re eating in the corner of a very large Asian marketplace, you forgive the ambiance to experience the food!! I ordered something with wide rice noodles, pork, chicken and shrimp along with broccoli, carrots and egg. It was delicious. Definitely coming back. The only reason service got 4 stars is that it was super busy and there was a single woman handling everything front of house. She was very pleasant and helpful, but she was slammed.

Diner Review №47

I’m so glad that we have a delicious Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. This was our first time and the food was excellent! Pad Thai with well balanced, tamarind hinted sauce, and the noodles were not greasy like some. The fried veggie egg rolls were perfectly crisp, again, without being greasy. Drunken noodles with that nice seasoned wok flavor, and super yummy cheese wontons. To top it off, the owner was the sweetest most gracious, grateful person. We’ll happily eat here again and spread the word.

Diner Review №48

Food and service were some of the best I've ever had. If you like Thai food or are open to trying something new, Yai Thai would be a great choice.

Diner Review №49

Wow! Everything was amazing. Some of the best Thai we’ve had in Denver. We had the appetizer sampler, pad see ew, Khao Soi and Thai iced teas. I loved how the fresh rolls had tons of different veggies not just lettuce. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №50

Very good food and my waitress was super friendly! I stopped by for lunch and I really enjoyed their Thai Boat Noodle! I will be trying their pad Thai next time!

Diner Review №51

I managed to get a pic of the sampler. The boat noodles and crab meat fried rice were devoured before we thought about photos. Authentic Thai boat noodles. The broth is thick and rich. Crab fried rice was so fragrant and tasty. The pricing is good. They’ve only been open a month. Definitely worth a try! Located in Viet Hoa Supermarket/Other entrance is to the right of the supermarket.

Diner Review №52

The staff was really nice. After a mix up on what I ordered, they promptly fixed it.
After I tried the food I was satisfied it was made with love and care. Delicious 😋 🍲
Definitely worth trying! I will be back for more!
I got the Tom Yum Soup with chicken and the Drunken noodles with chicken. Heads up the Tom yum soup doesn't come with rice. So remember to order some on the side.
To avoid mistakes on the ordering they recommended ordering online. Their English isn't the best. Which some how makes the food more delicious.

Diner Review №58

Very authentic Thai food.

Diner Review №59

Food was delicious and the service was very friendly and prompt. Definitely our new Thai food go to place.

Diner Review №60

Fantastic Thai food. I ordered Thai Fried Rice, Pad Kra Prow and Thai Boat Noodles Soup. It’s very delicious. Recommend!!

Diner Review №61

This place is excellent. It is part of the grocery store, don’t hesitate. The food and service are top notch. The owner was our waitress and she was adorable.

Diner Review №62

We stopped by this place tonight because I saw a post on Facebook that they have thai boat and lad na which both are hard to find here. I forgot to order the lad na but we ordered thai boat, tum yum, pineapple fried rice, and pad woo San and I have to say that the thai boat was the high light of our dinner. This restaurant is inside of Viet Hoa so the restaurant closes when the store closes which is 8pm. But it’s definitely worth it.

Diner Review №63

The staff are very kind and cool. They have a smile the second you walk in and are very helpful. They will help you choose what to eat if you have no clue and they always make good recommendations. I have eaten her 5 times already and each time is good. They are pretty fast at getting you your food.

Good food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely recommend you try if you are in the area.

Diner Review №65

A good Thai restaurant in vite hoa supermarket. Boat noodle is my favorite dish.

Diner Review №66

Wonderful Thai restaurant inside vite hoa Asian super market in Lakewood spicy and delicious the chicken appetizer with peanut sauce is out of this world. Would eat here daily must try!!!

Diner Review №67

Very good food and friendly service. A small place with 6 tables . And good help with the menu. I will eat here again.

Diner Review №68

So good! Super fast and really nice family. I judge all first time thai food by an order of Pad Thai w a side of peanut sauce. They did not disappoint. It was really good, medium is spicy but great flavor and really good mix of chicken and egg to the noodles. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes.

Diner Review №69

Corner unit attached to a Asian Grocery store. Slow service and nothing to rave about food... average taste and average quantity for the price.
