Local Thai chain with classic & vegan dishes, plus sake & cocktails, in a stylish, intimate space.
short simple and sweet menu. Nothing too crazy about the service, we were kinda confused if it was a dine in or take out only. But you can sit anywhere you want and they will come to you because it is a small place. Loved how small the menu was made it easy to make a decision. For starters our cups had lip stick still on it from the people before so ask for a straw. And we found 3 pieces of hair in our food that was not us. So thats not very inviting for us to come back. We will try it again, hopefully it will be cleaner. Food was good and they provided a spoon and a fork with the meal which is top tier when eating Thai food.
Hey Bangkok! is a great example of less is more. The menu is simple and doesn’t overwhelm you with too many choices. The interior feels efficient and clean while having a colorful collage on the main wall. The service felt great and comfortable. The fried chicken appetizer was delicious and more filling than expected. The drunken noodles and pad Thai were very good, but not the best we’ve ever had. If you’re craving really good Thai food and want a restaurant experience that doesn’t feel too laborious, this is the place to go!
Got a chance to order takeout I'm happy I did. Tom Kha with tofu was it was excellent. A lot of flavor and good spice. Ordered medium spice and it was just right. Also ordered the Kaw Mun Kai (dark) which was cooked perfectly. Stronger ginger in the rice would have been nice but that's personal preference. The sauce and soup that accompanied were great as well.
I was so excited to try this place after seeing several great reviews with delicious looking dishes in the photos. That was not my experience at all. Pad Thai was only made of noodles, chicken, very bland sauce, and a bean sprout here or there. Not at all what is shown in the photos / what is expected when ordering pad thai - fresh carrots and spouts, peanuts, and lime. I don’t understand why the takeout is so different from what is perceived to be served in the restaurant. I won’t be coming back here…
We had delicious Thai food at this place, the Khao SOI was incredible, good curry and coconut balance. Portions are generous. The drunken noodles and pad thai are also very good. They do different spice levels as per preference.
The service was very good and it had a lovely ambiance and the theme for the decoration was well thought of.
Highly recommend this place.
Five stars! Very tasty food and great service. Our waiter was attentive and not pushy. We ordered two appetizers to share with the table. Fried chicken and egg rolls were a great start. The spice levels ranged from zero to Thai hot or 1-5. Perfectly cooked pad Thai was delicious. I highly recommend this place. The food came out surprisingly fast despite being at a table of 5.
I’m usually skeptical of cutesy restaurants as they are sometimes overcompensating for something else, but Hey Bangkok has the rare combination of very good food, service, and ambiance. The menu is nice and concise, and portions are generous. Can definitely recommend the drunken noodles and pad thai. Although the dining room is modest, they make the most of their space in terms of seating and decor. All skepticism gone, Hey Bangkok let’s eat!

Best pad thai I've had in Denver!
Excellent food, great service, don’t forget the takeout too! Coming back here fo sho..
Menu is simple, service is fast, and the food is so good every single time
Limited menu, affordable prices, small on site parking
Overrated and overpriced. I got khao soi and the noodles were way overcooked and mushy. The chicken was also dry as cardboard. The rest of the dish was fine but nothing to write home about so overall not very good. The coconut cake was also really underwhelming. No depth of coconut flavor. Super light but not in a good way, in an I-can't-belive-I-paid-8-dollars-for-sugary-air way. I didn't realize until after that it's just another Swing Thai but under a different name.
Best place to get thai food in Denver. Highly recommend mango sticky rice, tom kha and pad thai!
An amazing place to go and get some street food and really enjoy a simple menu and delicious Thai.

Always amazing. Go to Thai place in Denver
I have dined in and last night had take out. Both experiences were beyond expectations. The Thai iced teas here are soo good! I will get one every time. The pad Thai noodles are perfection. And the drunken noodles are even better? I love both dishes. Starting with the fried veggie rolls are the way to do it! Hey Bangkok is definitely worth the stop ✨ I will be back again and again.
Stopped here for lunch on a Sat and so glad we did. We got the veggie rolls for appetizers, which weren't quite hot enough for me, but they tasted good and the sweet and sour sauce they come with is nicely balanced.
I got the Kaw Soy Curry, mild, with tofu and it was so good. I wanted a crusty loaf of bread to soak up all the sauce. My friend got the Pad Thai and really enjoyed it. They are large servings and we both took the rest of our meals to go.
It's a small space and has the high ceilings that are so popular right now so it's pretty echoey which makes it a little hard to hear when there are large groups having a good time.

Delicious. My favorite Thai spot in Denver. Good service, too!
Stopped by with my family while in Denver for the weekend - the Kaw Mun Kai was one of the best things I’ve had to eat in a long time, so flavorful and fresh, something I could eat everyday! Awesome little restaurant. Also had the fried chicken and it was fantastic. Stop by!!!!
Place is clean. Plays good music. The staff is warm. Food is really simply good. I will definitely go back for the mango sticky rice.
Real Thai food here you will not regret it.
Cute space! We picked up takeout, and have been really excited to try this spot! While the quality of the food seemed good, the flavor was quite bland. Completely lacking any saltiness much less some of the more complex Thai flavors we were looking for.
Ordered Drunken Noodles with chicken and shrimp, and Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was a $4 add on; ridiculous but fine, I'll pay it. Both dishes received 3 whole shrimp. And not jumbo or anything like that mind you, 3 medium shrimp. I paid $1.33 per medium shrimp. Food was decent quality but the skimping on meat that I paid extra for is just absurd.
No frills just great Food and attentive service. Super fast.
Best Thai food in Denver, get the khao soi!

Shockingly bland and flavorless drunken noodles. Had to add sauce at home to make it not a total waste of my money. It's supposed to come with chicken but there is barely any chicken in it -- some specs of ground chicken. If you're craving drunken noodles go to Aung's about 15 minutes south in Englewood.
Hands down best Thai spot in Denver. I’ve struggled with so many different Thai restaurants but they have the best pad Thai. Pad Thai is made perfected not overly saucey. Very very good.

Highly recommend this place.
Small place but great food and service. Tried chicken platter with ginger rice. My friend ordered thai curry. It was so good. Mixed it with ginger rice and combination is awesome. Fried tofu is ok ish because of the oil. Finished with coconut cake costly but worth it. Not so sweet and extremely delicious.
Hey! Let’s serve old smelly shrimp and toss it in noodles! Then for the cherry on top, let’s leave the tails on the disgusting shrimp so our customers have to pull them off themselves. Cause why spend an extra few minutes taking pride in our food? Gross.
The menu is straightforward and not huge. This is a great thing because what they do is really delicious. I am adding this place to my regulars for sure.
We love this place! The food is consistently delicious. We're there so often they know our order. The staff is awesome and efficient every time we visit.
Love this place
Just so so good
Good!!
This place is phenomenal! awesome food and friendly staff. We got kow kha moo(pork leg with five spices) and it was awesome! I'm originally from Thailand and have been craving this dish for a while since it is really hard to make it right. It turned out to be exactly like what I had in Thailand! and my husband got kow soy(curry noodles) and again it was really good! I can say this is the most authentic Thai restaurant I ever had since I moved to the United States 10 out of 10!
Tom kha, Curry, pad Thai, everything I've tried here is fantastic, and much like in the actual city of Bangkok, tastes authentic and comes at a very affordable price!
Chicken Pad Thai was great. The chicken was unfortunately cooked into oblivion, it tasted like the desert had a baby with Joan Rivers snatch. The Pad Thai itself was almost perfect, the fried tofu was glorious and the service was amazing. 10/10 will eat the chicken that tastes like napkins any day of the week this place is great.

The food is good, but not great for the price. Everything is like $3 more than it should be for the portion size and ingredient ratios. I’d love to come more often but it just isn’t worth it without changes. I also thought this place was closed because the exterior is like, blank and uninviting. The dine-in experience is also a bit confusing because they have table service and a counter with no host staff. “How do I order?” isn’t what you want people to think when they visit a restaurant for the first time.
Still the best! I’m always here when I’m in Denver.
This place took over a swing Thai location. Food is good but expensive. Pretty limited menu
One of my favorites
I used to love this place and eat here regularly, but they must have had a change in management. We arrived at 7:25 PM and the waitress asked if we wanted food to go since they close at 8 PM. We wanted to dine in so we stayed and ordered. The food was served within five minutes. Spring rolls were cold, soggy, and greasy, and were obviously just reheated in a fryer that had already been turned off. Entrées were adequate but not the same quality as the past. When I went to look for our server to get the check at 7:45, she was cleaning the toilets and then returned to our table with the check. I really don't appreciate my server cleaning toilets while still waiting on our table. Although they post an 8 PM close time, they obviously don't want guests after 7 PM. We certainly won't be back.
Love this place!!! The food is amazing and it’s quick. I have come for lunch often and it’s a prime spot for take out. Service is kind and the menu is simple but awesome. They never disappoint.
Best thai food in Denver and so reasonably priced. We ordered takeout - everything we got (drunken noodles, chicken and rice, pad thai) was excellent and somehow was ready in 7 minutes.
I order here a few times a month. Delicious food, fast, and kind staff!
This place is awesome. All the dishes are great and the Thai tee is delicious.
Loved everything about this spot after my husband and I bailed on the long line at Fire on the Mountain. Hey Bangkok! probably has better fried chicken - just sayin’. Seriously great Thai food and one of the best Pad Thai Ive had in Denver. 10/10 recommend
Super fast table service at lunch. From the time I ordered Pad Thai and went to the bathroom, my food was on the table. It was fresh and delicious. Excellent flavor and perfect level of spice
Why is there not a line or the door, get here before everyone knows! So good!
Amazing food, great service, and cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here! FYI, I chose “medium” spicy and it was a notch above usual medium spicy. Still tasted fantastic and it didn’t burn my face off.
We dined in and the service was amazing!! Tom Kha soup is a 10/10, we ordered it with the shrimp and the flavor was incredible- lots of lemongrass and ginger.
We also ordered the Kaw Soy Curry and the Pad Gra Pow and both were awesome, I’d highly recommend the curry with shrimp, it’s a very large portion too.
Their Pad Thai is the standard by which I judge all others. Delicious.
The jalapeño fried rice is good but can be on the spicy side.
On our go-to list for years.
Cute atmosphere, friendly staff, and the best Pad Thai in Denver
Tom kha broth was decent but veggies were basically raw and slightly heated up, kinda disappointing. Was charged $4 extra for veg when I asked for a mix of tofu & veggies. Overall very meh.
I would eat the fried tofu for every meal
Great neighborhood Thai restaurant. The drunken noodles are delicious. Very simple menu, great for drop in or take out.
I eat here religiously! The drunken noodles is my favorite. The portions are very generous, I always have at least 2 meals worth of leftovers. The inside is adorable, not a ton of seating and mostly street parking. We usually get takeout.
This is my favorite place to get pad thai in the area. I've only done take out but the staff is friendly, the food is delicious and has always been ready on time. Highly recommend!
I’m picky about Thai food, but the vibe here was amazing. The art and interior have a very hipster urban feel. Service was excellent and the food was decent as well. I recommend the drunken noodles.
Greatest egg rolls in Denver and maybe the whole west.
Drunken noodles are delicious great service aswell
Best Thai takeout in the Wash Park area. Good quality, quick and tasty! Just wish they still had the flat egg noodle for their Kaw Soy Curry. The new one is not as good… still recommend the dish and the Kaw Mun Kai is worth a try!
Overall, pretty good experience. Really enjoyed the Tom Kha Soup, it was packed with flavor and really tasty. That was probably my favorite dish.
The Pad Thai was decent, a 4 out of 5. There was barely any eggs, the ratio of toppings to noodles could be better.
The Drunken Noodles was also decent, but wish there was a bit more flavor. The chicken was also minced, like ground chicken. It was hard to eat with chopsticks, never seen Drunken Noodles with minced meat before, strange. 3 out of 5.
I’ve eaten their pad Thai regularly but today the noodles were uncooked and crunchy and it was inedible. I’ve loved this place in the past but I probably won’t eat here ever again because of this experience.
Got shrimp as my protein and they were over cooked but other than that it was okay. Decent portion size.
They have a great hainanese Chicken and one of the great tasting spring rolls. They have a good tasting food and I recommend this place.
Maybe my favorite Thai place in the US. Everything was perfect.
Had a delicious meal here, appetizers were great, salad was good, entrees were delicious. Drunken noodles were awesome, a little hotter than pad thai at same spice level (medium), but it was welcome.
We love this place, I’ve tried about half the menu for various lunches and loved every plate. Very authentic!
Delicious food. Good service. Nice vibes.
I have ordered from here a few times because I live nearby, and it has been consistently decent food, nothing special, but at least it [WAS] fair prices and filling. I just deleted the old 4star review I had to write this one.
Today I ordered 2 meals for us and portions were small and not great.
7 mini pieces of tofu in curry for $17. Plus a small spoonful of veggies!... How much cheaper can you be?!
The chicken platter used to come with 2 sizable pieces of chicken and today I got 1 no bigger than what you get on a fast food chicken sandwich. The peanut salad side normal has thick creamy dressing and today it was literally watered down. And gross.
Lots of noodles and rice for each dish. I can cook noodles and rice at home but I wanted something better than that. Today I bought garbage. We got the exact same order less than a month ago and it was very good and what was expected that time. Thanks for stiffing us today
I regret giving you a tip. This was garbage today and I'm never eating here again. Please shut down so another restaurant can move in. Or just make better food again and don't be so stingy. Thank you.
31 dollars for a bad lunch for one person. This could easily be a one star review, but the flavors were not terrible. Nice decor as well, but I hated my lunch. If you eat meat you might be fine, but I’m vegan and it was ridiculous bad. They only have two dishes that are vegan. The fried tofu was too breaded, but decent. The tofu curry was absurd. Not a single vegetable. Fried tofu in a curry sauce. That was it. 31 bucks for a few ounces of prepared tofu and nothing else. Never coming back.
Most adorable and lively place!!
Maew was our server - was awesome! Very gracious and helpful in food ordering !! Definitely coming back & worth driving here. !!
Food was ready in the said time and was very good. I had the drunken noodles. My only complaint it there was a decent amount of oils at the bottom of the dish but otherwise I would highly recommend checking this place out.
when i’m not in denver i dream of their pad gra pow and their tom kha is the best i’ve had since leaving l.a.
while some are complaining of their small menu, that’s the best thing about them—they do a handful of items extremely well. everything i’ve had here is so good and every time i come here i’m astounded it isn’t packed because it is so delicious and their staff are so lovely.
I was really excited to try Hey Bangkok! I am new to the area and love Thai food. I ordered takeout tonight, drunken noodles with veggies and tofu. The food was very okay. The sauce seemed pretty watery and definitely had some spice but not much flavor. The portion was also not very large for the price tag. Overall I am disappointed. The woman working the pickup window was very nice. Maybe dine in is better?
Food was wonderful! Service was quick and friendly! Must try lunch spot.
Couldn’t get myself to walk through the door the place smelled like a toilet, overrated hipster joint. I don’t know how people can get over the smell.
Best drunken noodle in Denver.
A great place to grab some quick Thai food
I've been coming here probably once every 2 months for the past year and really enjoy it. Almost every item on the menu is delicious and the staff are friendly but I'm struggling with the gradual price creep. I used to pay around $20 a person and for me that was completely fair for the quality of food. However, most recently we were looking at $30 - $40 a person for a beer and menu item. For Thai food, which is typically affordable, it caught me off guard.
This place was amazing! We had the khao soi and the pad thai. They were both delicious and soooo flavorful, some of the best in Denver. Our server was super friendly and the place is so unique. Such a cool building and made for a really fun dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely come here again!
Cute ambiance! Fun concept, great people, and amazing food! I love their Pad Kra Pro!
The pad Thai was amazing, and I normally hate pad Thai because I think it smells and tastes like fish food. Not here!
I’m very picky on how I like my pad thai - I think it should have a sweetness but not too sweet, saucy enough with not being dry nor too saucy and the egg should not taste like a scrambled egg was thrown in - this pad Thai fits the bill for me without breaking the bank - seriously, such generous portions without being overly priced. Our waiter was so attentive and delivered service with a smile, and if you give this place a try, the fried tofu is a MUST and I’m not a fan of tofu!
Exceptional and cost effective I will be back
Zand was the best server ever! Super funny and sweet. Food was amazing, highly recommend the coconut dessert and drunken noodles
I am so happy to have been introduced to this sweet spot. The food is incredible— everything I tasted was delicious, uniquely flavored and artfully made. Some of the menu items branch away from more common Thai dishes found in the US, making them feel even more special. The server was so kind and accommodating, and there are several delicious vegan options. I will definitely be back!
Called for a reservation for 8 people, a nice lady took my reservation quick and friendly.
Showed up, restaurant was clean, good vibes, the smells in the air were very good that made us even more hungry.
Our server was very attentive, kind, fun, and helpful. He took our order well, food was served with no issues or confusions, and we paid with no problems.
The food was a 10 out 10… tasted great, very goos portions and fair priced.
Will come back soon.
A Denver staple. Get the fried chicken, fried tofu, pad gra pow, or the Tom Kha soup! Great date spot.
Best Thai food we’ve had in a long time! We were wow’d.
First time we went in, we ordered Khao Soi which was impressive. It made me think of home in Thailand. After that we have been ordering delivery. Pad Gra Pao (Basil stir fried) is also good. As a Thai, I never felt disappointed with the food here.
I hardly post reviews but I had to say something about this place. Buckle your seatbelts.
I’ve eaten different Thai restaurants and tried dishes from a Thai friend of mine. I can very much say that what they serve at this restaurant is not good Thai food. It was completely flavorless, poorly served, and unappetizing. All the good reviews must be people who have never tried a properly seasoned dish in their life.
Not only did the food suck but when I asked for a little basil with my meal, they told me I had to pay an extra $2. That’s just crazy… I pay $2 for a pound of basil in the grocery store, who do you think you are?
As for the staff, they weren’t unfriendly or anything but they sure as hell were not very welcoming. It was quite the cold atmosphere.
This was not worth $40+, save your money!
Love their fried tofu!!!
Can’t eat here without getting the eggrolls too.
Delicious! - Benjamin
I lived down the street of this place for 2.5 years and it was my go-to spot!! Absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere, great service (Zand is an absolute joy of a human being), and phenomenal food. Highly recommend!!
The bes Khow suey in all of Denver!
Love this place! Recommend the khao soi and drunken noodles
Amazing food and service!! Our waiter was so kind, quick, and thoughtful.
Not to mention, our dishes were delicious. Definitely recommending this spot for anyone in seek of a great pad Thai meal. Their Thai iced tea was also delicious! Love the casual ambience.
Thai tea, drunken noodles, fried chicken, and Tom kha soup were all so good! Nice service too. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
Amazing place! The food and service are terrific!
Great waiter, clean an cool place, quick service, very tasty food. Gotta go back.
Consistent, delicious neighborhood Thai.
This place is a gem 💎
Service 10/10
Food is amazing, it came out super fast and meet my expectations(picture taken after we took couple bites). The first time I ordered from them was for togo and the spicy level wasn’t really spicy but today I came and ordered the kaw soy with thai hot, it hit the spot! My partner ordered the thai noodle soup and the broth is flavorful. Chicken was juicy and cook very well. Zand was very friendly and his service us amazing. Will definitely come back soon
This place has the BEST Thai food! Their sauces were so delicious and well prepared; sauce makes the dish! I had a green curry with chicken and the side pickles were yummy! The server was kind and friendly.
It's a tiny unassuming place, not fancy at all.
Soooooo good!!!
First time here and everything was delicious!! We ordered fried tofu and Thai fried boneless chicken for appetizers. Which was delicious, the sauces that came with appetizers perfectly complimented the dishes. Our main dishes were Tom kha soup, drunken noodles, and pad Thai noodles. All the dishes hit the spot. However my favorite was definitely the dessert that our lovely waiter recommended us. And I’m glad he did because the coconut cake was amazing!! It had coconut shavings in the middle of the cake, was so soft and I loved the whipped cream. Our waiter, Zand, was amazing!!! We all loved his interaction and how helpful he was. I love how the restaurant gave an authentic vibe.
Excellent neighborhood joint, enjoyed the food immensely. Medium heat wasn't silly, so you may want to go hot. Definitely will visit again!
Best pad Thai in the neighborhood! Incredible customer service. Can’t wait to try more of their menu
This is a small spot with a small menu, but their dishes have a lot of flavor! We've been more than once, and the service was great. Definitely recommend.
really good drunken noodles and tea :) zand is the best !!!
Great street food style Thai spot. Fried chicken, Tom kha, and Khao Soi were great.
Amazing food! Best service in town.
My boyfriend and I stopped here before our flight back home to Houston. A bit limited on the menu, but the food we ordered was delicious. Our waiter, Sam (I believe) was the absolute sweetest. He was so warm and welcoming! Portions were big and I felt bad for not taking it with me to the airport. Definitely a great time!
This has been one of my favorites since they opened. Quick, well-priced, and so delicious! Zand, my server today, went above and beyond. Thank you for the incredible service!
Solid thai option in Denver
Awful! The worst Pad Thai & Drunken noodles I’ve ever had. All of these midwesterner reviews with 5 stars don’t season their food if they think this is good Thai. Complete garbage. I can’t believe I spent $42 on the most tasteless Thai food I have ever had. Save your money if you have brain cells, go to the mom & pop Thai joint down the road. Hey owner, season your damn good because this is just disgraceful to Thai food and it’s culture.
We just had an early dinner and we were blown away! The Drunken Noodles and Kaw Soy Curry were so flavorful and fresh. The kids got Thai Boneless Chicken and Fried Tofu and were completely happy. Service was SPECTACULAR!
We could not pass up the homemade coconut cake for dessert.
Do not sleep on this restaurant!
Perfect noodle dish on a perfect chilly night
Very friendly service. Delicious curry. Will definitely return and recommend
Delicious tofu Kaw Soy curry, friendly and quick service. I love this place
The kaw soy is absolutely incredible; I’ve been getting it consistently for 2 years and it is unbeatable. I just tried their homemade coconut cake today and it was divine — super creamy and moist! You can’t beat the super warm, friendly service from the waiter as well. He greeted us like old friends when we walked it! I can’t recommend Hey Bangkok enough!
Cute small place
Everything was delicious
The server was really nice
This is one of those places with few choices and the server isn't scared to tell you what to order - but I love that
New favorite spot. Tom kah soup? Unreal. Both of us agreed, best broth we’ve ever had. Super fast and kind employees. Pictures of the meals on the menu. Can’t wait to come back!
Often reliable, this time was a bad experience. Ordered the pad gra pow and the container was 80% rice. 2oz of chicken max. Pad Thai also had hardly any chicken. Ridiculous for $35. Maybe they were running out? I won’t be back for awhile.
Zand was amazing! The service was 10000 stars! He was very friendly and welcoming!
We were too hungry to take any photos but the fried tofu was pretty good! Came out piping hot!
Tom kha was good and there was a good amount of shrimp.
Pad thai was good but the color was a more orange than I’m used to but it was fine.
Kaw mun Kai with dark meat chicken was tender. It was nice that it came with soup too.
Chicken platter was good too!
The food wasn’t amazing but overall it was good. I was a little sad that they didn’t have mango sticky rice but their Coconut cake was really yummy!!!
The food was amazing but I was impressed by how friendly Zand was. He was so nice and charming. Will definitely be back to try this place out.
I had the drunken noodles, very good!
Great dishes (pad Thai and drunken noodle) and attentive staff.
