Udom Thai serves Traditional, Authentic, and Exotic Thai food that Thai people love and enjoy. Our specialty is exotic dish like whole Red Snapper with red curry sauce and Pad Cha Seafood. Our cooks came for north and north-eastern with mix of experiences and style to create the great Thai flavor all you can experiences.
The food was phenomenal!!!! My favorite thai place! I’m from Thailand and this place is authentic. When I’m craving real thai food I come here! Service was amazing as well! Atmosphere was nice and elegant. NOTHING CAN BEAT THE FOOD THO!!! Big portions, perfect for family style. Seafood fried rice, Crispy pork basil stir fired and curry is my favorite ❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Delicious Pad See Ew! We also really liked their spicy catfish. The Thai Iced Tea is a must. Our waiter was amazing! We had a couple of kids with us and he was very patient and very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant decor was not the most welcoming but the food was spot on.
I came back here after a few years and I was impressed. The server was nice and explained the level of heat.
When I asked for less cooking oil in the dish he said they don’t make oily food. And sure it wasn’t , I got a glass noodles dish with egg and vegetables, yummy and the right spices. I’ll go back.
I am of Thai decent and thus is by far the closest and best Thai food in town! Be prepared as they hit all the S’s of Thai food. Food that is savory, sweet, sour, and spicy. The mild is good for those looking for kick, but asking for medium and higher is spicy, you have been warned.
Good food, wonderfully spicy, refuses to make modifications. Four straight times they’ve added stuff to my dish I didn’t ask for or select. Fail to follow basic instructions even with a very low bar.
This place was one of my favorite thai restaurants in Colorado. If you were looking for authentic thai food in the area. I’d highly recommend this place. We ordered Kra Prao Moo Krob Kai Dao, Khao Mun Kai, North-Eastern Pork Sausage, Kua Gai and Som Tum. We really enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered. We felt like we ate Thai food in Thailand.
Update: I kept coming back here again and again because I wanted to try more dishes at this restaurant. I always ordered my favorite Kra Prao Moo Krob Kai Dao. But this time I also tried Red Snapper Choo Chee, Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Yum Seafood, Chicken Satay, and Dumplings. They were all so good! Food was so flavorful here.
The foods are so delicious! Drunken noodle is amazing!! You have to try! Also, my favorite dishes are Pad Kra Pow Moo and North-Eastern Pork Sausage! Those dishes make me think about my country. I would recommend this restaurant if you would like to try Thai food. Staffs are friendly and they have nice restaurant. I’ll come back for sure.

One of my favorite local restaurants! I come back over and over. I love the tofu pad tai
I came back here after a few years and I was impressed. The server was nice and explained the level of heat.

Perfect, Delicious,Espectacular! ✨🤍
Great spot for Thai food
Delicious Pad See Ew! We also really liked their spicy catfish. The Thai Iced Tea is a must. Our waiter was amazing! We had a couple of kids with us and he was very patient and very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant decor was not the most welcoming but the food was spot on.
The flavors were authentic and the service was welcoming. I ordered Beef Rad Na. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving true Thai cuisine!!
Crazy attention to detail and amazing food
Delicious food and great staff. I will definitely go back.
This was the best Thai food I’ve had in the metro area. So flavorful and spicy. Beware of the spice! Go one level down from what you’re normally drawn to.
Definitely order the Kra Prao Moo Krob, it was simply amazing.
Dan was great and accommodated me. I really appreciate this place!
I don’t do reviews. This is absolutely some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. I had the full Thai snapper as hot as possible and it was really hot, but most places really mess up the taste with what heat they use. This dish, was perfection.
This is our favorite neighborhood Thai spot! And we have been to Thailand multiple times/searched quite a few Thai restaurants in the area. The red and green curries are fantastic as well as the Pad kra pao and pad thai. They are always super friendly and helpful, especially Perm. We’re so happy to have found this restaurant!
We loved Udom Thai for a Friday night dinner and will definitely be back. Dan took very good care of us and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Everything was delicious, including cashew stir fry with tofu, pad thai, drunken noodles, curry and basil fried rice. Highly recommend!
Outdoor patio was so cute, our waiter was so friendly and fun and our food was delish!
Excellent food and service, extremely friendly staff!
Somehow this place only has 4.2 stars (at the time of this review)?! This is easily the best Thai food in Colorado. From someone who has spent considerable time in Thailand, and has eaten at a hundred spots across the Metro Area, this place is as close as you're going to get to a Thailand experience outside of Thailand. The spice level starts at "mild," which is most other place's "medium." If you like it spicy try "Medium Plus." The Panang Curry is delicious, as is their assortment of other curries. Don't pass up the chance to eat here. I'd make a long drive for this place. Luckily, I live close enough to walk!
Excellent food and friendly staff. My vegetarian food was delicious!
One of the worst customer service .. third time we were sent back stating dine in not available .. today we called and confirmed for dine in before starting and they confirmed dine in is available till 7.30 .. we reached there by 7.19 and they said dine in closed by 7.15 .. if they are not sure of the timing they should have informed when we called them .. last time also similar incident happened .. overall it was very bad experience ..
Rude behavior of staffs. Very worst customer service.
Best thai food in the area. Drunken noodles, pad thai, and tom kha all amazing.
Good food, their spiciness is on the hot side so order accordingly.
Great use of jazz music in the background
I ate here on 4/14/24, sunday, for the first time. I have two things to note. 1) I was hoping to find some udon noodles (note the "n" in udon). I don't believe you'll find them here at Udom (note the "m"). I ordered the Udom Noodle dish. It took a long time to prepare however I assume with the lack of customers, it's hard to keep food ready and fresh. It did arrive hot and very fresh. It was great however, clearly the noodles are not udon but instead a very thin egg noodle, a little thinner than ramen. The food was delicious and was a large portion. 2) I did not care for the ambiance/decor. It felt more like an Italian restaurant vs Thai. Jazz music, the waiter wore an apron and the back wall was full of bottles of wine; the place was clean. Purple napkins? Is that a color favorite of Thailand? It made me wonder if the cooks are Thai. Again, the food was fresh and good, just not quite what I expected. Prices seem expensive but everything is higher now so my gauge is "off". $19 for the dish with tofu.
Best northern thai sausage in town but horrible service and food is really salty. I try to do pickup orders but no one ever answers the phone!!!
Amazing food and service! I can’t wait to go back!
Simply amazing, authentic food!!! It is evident the owners truly put their heart into their cooking and service. They are so sweet and the cleanliness is also top notch! Thank you so much, we will definitely be returning soon. :)
Good food horrible service skills
By far the best Thai food in town!
I first came to Udom Thai years ago when I first arrived in CO, and it was just fine - nothing bad, but nothing fantastic either. I recently tried them again when a vegan friend asked me to lunch, and I noticed that their menu has been updated since I was last in. I was very surprised at how different my experience was - the food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. I appreciated the server's attentiveness and they were very knowledgeable. I've come back a couple times and it's become on of my favorite places near where I live. If you don't like spice, get mild - they take their spice very seriously and mild plus is what I'd start with if you think you like spicy food. The lunch special is a great deal too!
This is the BEST Thai restaurant in Denver. Fresh, hot and a variety of spice levels describe the food...Perm the owner is from Thailand and knows his food, manners and his customers.
Best pad thai in CO in my opinion! Thai tea is always amazing too. Super nice servers too!
Excellent food, great service, enjoyable atmosphere! Great for date night!
The food at Udom is excellent. We have tried several dishes that we were unfamiliar with and it has always been consistently good. We typically eat at the restaurant
The food and service was amazing. I went here with a large group and they served us our food very promptly, the waiters were very attentive and friendly, and the tables were pretty clean. The menu had lots of options.
Very tasty. More authentic
Average thai food imho. We always stop by for lunch time only, and its pretty quiet most of time, but the service could be lil slower especially when they have lots of phone orders, also seems like they only have 1 person for the whole dine-in floor on lunch time.
And its more pricey compared to other thai restaurants. Portions also on the lower side than the others.
Updated : really like the food, but the service is zero to none. I have to bring my own cup to the counter to get it filled. We asked for sliced cucumber in the middle of our course, never got it.
I will come back to this place for to go only from now on.
Food is ALWAYS delicious!
The best Thai restaurant that I never had!! Very delicious Thai food and good service. I’m in love with mild+ spicy levels here it’s my perfect match🤩
Very bad customer service. Very rude people. We ordered Vegan. They suggested us Vegan and gluten free. But gave us something with meat sauce.
So they have great food, BUT terrible customer service. I tried to place an order at 7:20 pm and they said the kitchen is already closed (for pick up). This regularly happens. Also expect to wait forever for your food if you are able to actually place an order. So frustrating!
The place is no too busy when I arrived for the very first time. I ordered beef pad Thai with a beer that made the whole dish bon appetite! Although, there was a gate in front of the complex that made it a bit confusing for how to enter the restaurant. You just have to push the gate open when you arrive to the place. Overall, my experience has been good and I wouldn’t mind going back to order something again.
I went here with my mother in law and the food was absolutely incredible !!! Our waiter was very friendly and everything tasted so fresh and awesome ! I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the mood for great Thai food.
Food and service were awesome! Our server said he wanted the food to make us “happy not sad” when we were discussing the heat level of our Pad Thai. 😅 It’s a lovely spot in a strip mall. The Astro-turf on the patio is such a cute idea so you don’t feel as though you are dining on the sidewalk. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend!
Really good pad thai!
Me and my mom went to Udom for lunch and LOVED it. Owner was helpful and very nice!
Favorite Thai place in town, and my fiancé is Thai so we have been all around Thai restaurants in Denver, Thailand, and around the world! The service is always great, and Perm and Pat’s kitchen creations are all delicious and well-presented. Service is always top-notch, and we love the recent additions of Thai murals and the outdoor patio to the atmosphere and overall vibe. Be mindful that this Thai restaurant generally has more spice than most around town so get mild if you aren’t a lover of heat. I get the medium, and it’s quite hot, but so so delicious. Try the Kra Prao Moo Krob Kai Dao if you love Thai basil, spice, pork, and a fried egg (see picture). Noodle dishes are all great, as are the soups. Desserts like fried bananas and mango sticky rice are also authentic and great! We are in Udom at least once a week!
Very Pathetic Customer service
The staff was so rude that he said this is how we cook if you don’t want to eat then you go and pointed finger towards exit.
1st time seeing this kind of staff in customer service.
Not Recommended
I came here with my friends and family and we loved the food and service. We tried the crab fried rice, drunken noodles, and Tom yum soup, among other dishes. Everything was amazing, and the whole group enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here for authentic Thai food and service.
Been to this restaurant several times. Great staff and wonderful food. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
First of all this restaurant is my favorite place to dine out and celebrate special occasions. Never have bad experience on their food... Always fresh and tasty like in my country. I have been their customers for a very very long time. Their servers are polite attentive and respectful! They are hard workers and show how much they care about how they prepare different delicious dishes. I hope that this will help to come and try this wonderful restaurant. And please bear in mind that they cook everything fresh and authentic so u need to be patient... The good thing is worth waiting for! 👍❤️
Very bad customer service,
Right from beginning the staff couldn’t communicate in English. We ordered couple of starters and a Curry item from main course. As soon as we tasted the curry we felt an odd taste so we requested to get a freshly cooked one then the staff replied abusively “this how we cook here if you don’t like go visit another restaurant”. I don’t think this is how you treat your customers.
We didn’t even ask to cancel the order we were ready to wait so that they can get a fresh cooked one.
This is not our first time having poor experience, now I had to write the review so that others will be aware of it. I would definitely not visit this restaurant next time and for others I would suggest there are very good alternative Thai restaurants outside.
Had to give 1star because of the poor and abusive customer service.
We visited this restaurant on occasion of friend birthday and we ordered Tom Kha Soup, Egg rolls, Chicken Satay & RedCurry. As soon as we tasted RedCurry it tasted odd so we asked the staff if they can get a new one. First of all the staff over there couldn’t speak in proper English and on top of it he was rude and replied “this is how we cook here, if you don’t like you can go visit other store” that was very very rude!!!
We didn’t even complain about taste we just asked if they can get a new one.
Even the chicken tasted kind of Raw-UnCooked.
I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone.
Visited here twice hot, spicy and food is excellent make sure you query the waiter about right spicy level to be ordered also not so over priced. Service took too long.
These prices are outrageous! $12 for wontons, $22 for soup and $22 for padthai!!! This restaurant isn't going to last with these prices. Sorry to leave a bad review but something needs to be done.
Udom slaps! Great crab cheese wontons, egg rolls, and pad Thai. The folks working there are extremely nice and friendly, and their food is delicious.
Excellent food and super friendly service.
We had an amazing experience and half of it was because our waiter,Nine. He was very kind and even though he was the only waiter in the restaurant it felt like we we where the only people he was waitressing
I’d give 6 stars if I could, best Thai food in Colorado!!
Delicious food, but beware of the spice level!
The food tastes great and ingredients seem very fresh. This place has maintained a good standard for many years now.
Best thai food around (be mindful of spice level - medium is too hot)
My son and I were looking for a Thai restaurant and I needed a yummy spicy soup for my cold.
I live about 45 minutes away from Udom Thai, yet it is the only Thai restaurant I will go to in CO. I have eaten a lot of Thai food in my life, including in Thailand on multiple trips. This food is some of the best Thai food I have ever had anywhere. It is so unbelievably flavorful and delicious. Noodles are always cooked perfectly, never too oily, and the curries are so delicious you'll want to drink them like soup when you're too full to eat more rice. I am also a vegetarian and they are so accommodating to make options without fish / oyster sauce. AND you don't taste any lack of flavor. I have had another places where they will remove fish / oyster sauce but then the food is so bland and dry. Udom manages to get the balance perfectly right, every single time.
The cleanest place, even the bathrooms were so clean. And the food was absolutely amazing… fresh and so tasty. Service was also the best. Unbelievable restaurant. One of my new favorites.
Absolutely love this place! Best Thai food I’ve had, and the best food within this area. We always get our order as takeout and it’s always correct and delicious. Gluten free is a need in our house, and this place comes through every time. #1 recommendation: Kua Gai with pork, mild plus or medium spice.
Spicy!! Careful with the Thai hot. Medium hot is perfect. This place is really fresh and delicious.
Delicious chicken pad Thai and Thai tea
The food here is good, but we have now had two very, very poor experiences. At the first, in attempting to walk in and place a to-go order (when the restaurant was approximately 25% capacity), I sat at the bar (where they instructed me to go) for approximately 20 minutes. The staff repeatedly walked to the bar, but refused to acknowledge or speak with me for any reason. I finally walked out without a second glance from anyone working.
The second occurred tonight. After placing an order with an estimated pick-up time of 30min, they “were still cooking” the order more than 50 minutes after it was placed. Despite giving them my name more than once and asking about status, they somehow failed to notice my order sitting next to the register that entire time. It would have been less frustrating if they would have at least acknowledged the inconvenience.
Great food. Awful, awful service. It’s been this way since before the pandemic, but these last two incidents pushed me to writing this review.
Outstanding Thai with a diverse menu. The spice level is great! Check it out!
Amazing pad Thai! Really nice staff.
The best Thai restaurants in Colorado I’ve ever tried. I am Indonesian, so what I eat when it comes to traditional food are pretty similar with Thai food. I’ve never taste very authentic spice in Thai place in Colorado until last night I went to Udom Thai.
Tom Yum 8/10
Tom Kha 9.5/10
Krapao 9/10
Fried Rice 8/10
Will definitely come back! Like, eat here every month!
I love this place. It’s one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I’ve been to. I also like the server, he’s really nice and accommodating and always has a smile on his face. I always recommend this place to friends, family and anyone I meet and I recommend it to you too! Be warned, the spice goes hard here—I recommend going several levels lower than you would normally get at another restaurant. Remember, you can always ask for extra chili flakes on the side if it’s not spicy enough but they will not refund you if your dish is too spicy so use your best judgment.
I love coming to Udom Thai for fresh, delicious food with generous portions! Plum wine is great compliment to the meal!! The waiter named Aof is very knowledgeable and friendly!
Udom Thai is the only place to go for real, authentic and most importantly, delicious food. The quality is unmatched and the customer service is the same. I don't like to go anywhere else for Thai food. 10/10
Finally a restaurant that can make spicy food
Food is okay but sanitation and service poor. Bathrooms smelly and dirty. When informing the waitress of the condition of the bathroom she said the owner told us the we can go to another restaurant if we don't like it, which we gladly did.
The food here is amazing! Wife and I took my parents here and enjoyed the rich flavors and quality ingredients. Great place for vegetarians and vegans! Added bonus for interesting serving presentations for all the dishes!
The food is incredible, and they're not lying about the spice levels! Service can be slow at times, but they have the best panang curry I've found in the area.
Decided to try this spot for takeout tonight and I found my new go-to for Thai food!! The chicken satay is the best I've had in a long time with super tasty sauces and the dumplings are phenomenal, can't wait to try more of their menu!!!
Their food is really good and well worth the price. The stir fried pork belly with the egg is fantastic.
Just delicious- so much flavor! Excellent service. Definitely authentic!
Always surprised they aren't packed!
Great place! Just be forewarned. Medium is really spicy. But it's great food and the servers are super nice. Loved it.
Really tasty and flavorful food
Good food, but they got an order wrong and seemed very understaffed
For Colorado standards, this place is strong 5 stars. Only qualm is that they use Minute Rice, not fragrant Jasmine rice.
Best Pad See Ew and Massaman Curry hands down. Everything is very fresh. Clean restaurant. Great friendly service. My only concern is the price increases. $17 for a dish of noodles and some meat seems high. I keep coming back though because it tastes so dang good.
Great service but the food was the main event! We are Thai food snobs, and I would rate this as top 2 in Colorado. Absolutely amazing!
Udom Thai is such a great neighborhood Thai spot! They always use fresh ingredients, including fresh pineapple in their pineapple fried rice! Most other restaurants use canned pineapple. I’ve been eating Udom Thai bi-weekly for over a year now—-I can’t reliably eat pineapple fried rice anywhere else!
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend it. A vegetarian delight!!
The ma’am here misunderstood phone order and put down 3x of the same appetizer (?) but this food is truly the best Thai I’ve had in Colorado. Medium is spicy af!
They have some of the best Thai food around, the staff are always super friendly and attentive.
I called today to place an order to go. Was put on hold by Shannon but after 14mins of being on hold i called back because it was obvious she forgot only to have her tell me to order online. While telling Shanon I was driving to her so I couldn't and ask if she could take just one plate order which she refused. I also was just letting her know that it would have been nice to know that 15mins ago so that she tells the next customer instead of making them wait, she hung up on me. She was rude last time too so that's the end of that spot for me. Good food but is easily found elsewhere where staff are not rude.
April 2022: delicious authentic Thai joint. Spice level is on the high end. Great for dine in when the food is fresh. Green curry and pad se ew was amazing.
One comment I had was that the wait staff is not trained to handle solicitation. A guy pretending to be deaf and mute came in going from table to table trying to sell postcards. The lady waitressing here at lunch gave him money but didn’t ask him to leave. I asked about it and she said he comes in regularly. I get the hustle at intersections and on the street, but they shouldn’t be allowed to walk into restaurants and bother customers in the middle of a meal.
This place is delish. Just don't order spicy unless you want to die. OR go right ahead, but I want to see that video... it won't be pretty.
That was some of the past pad see ew ive ever had. I can't wait to come try this place for dinner with my gf. The menu looks amazing. Mild+ was the perfect amount of spicy for me.
The best of Thai food I ever had in CO. Tasty like I ate them when I was in Thailand. Love the energy of spicy level here, if you order HOT, it's hot like he'll LOL. I warned you.
Yes these are hard time and restaurants are short staffed, but that isn't an excuse to try not to give good service. The food is good but to bad they make it such a bad experience.
Best Thai food I’ve had since moving to Denver! Super flavorful! Friendly staff even though they are short staffed. It’s mincoj-nicda8-gegDexself service (order from your table, pay at counter, and they bring your food to you for dine in) right now. It’s a super innovative idea to get around the short staffing issue while still having the dine in experience. Very satisfied with our visit and will definitely be coming back!
This is our FAVORITE Thai place that we have found in Colorado (and in general) ever since we spent two months in Thailand a few years ago. We feel so lucky to have it not too far from us. Every dish we’ve tried is the closest in flavor to real Thai flavors. I highly, highly recommend this place!! (Just be aware that the spice level is authentic too so err on the mild side!)
Unprofessional Customer Service.
Customer experience is horrible here! I went here to pick up food for GrubHub and the whole place was just a huge mess. The amount of time the lady estimates is completely deceiving. I went here to pick up the food at 5:40 and left at 6:30 without any sign that my order was being made. They kept saying things like “just a few minutes” or “your next up” but there was no truth behind it. It wasn't just me either, there 5-7 more people waiting for more than 30 mins and it just getting piled up. I am never coming back to this restaurant ever again!
The first time we went here a couple years ago it was amazing food. Since then I've gone back many many times but unfortunately the food has gone downhill. Pad thai is still good but everything else is rather bland. They don't actually add spices to make things more flavorful/spicy, they just throw in some chili flakes which add heat but no flavor. It's very disappointing.
They definitely have very tasty food but some time even mild is very spicy and some time mild has no spice level. Just issue with consistency. Obviously bit pricey then other places but you get good amount of food as well. I love the Tom Yum soup ❤️They can make the item more tasty but adding correct amount of salt and spice.
We live in the neighborhood and this is our go-to Thai place, not even just because it's close. We ate in a couple of times before covid and have done takeout a handful of times since 2020. The food has always been good and takeout is always accurate. I don't think we've tried anything we don't like so far. The takeout is usually enough for two meals for me and it's pretty much always just as good a day or two later.
Soaring unreasonable spice , tiny portions - they justify the price hike ?
Disappointing dinner - that was of snack size .........
The food it’s pretty good but 9/10 times the customer service is atrocious. Do not order take out and expect your food to be ready when they say it will be. I honestly think they start making the food once you call and say you are there to pick it up.
I absolutely love Udom Thai, it is by far the best Thai food I’ve found in the Denver metro. Their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are amazing, cannot recommend them enough!
Well this WAS the best thai in Highlands Ranch....Sadly management has made less than ideal. Prices have increased too far and are not updated on the site. 3 entrees for $80...nothing special and no meat. Dining in will no longer be an option. Also, the main cheifs are leaving making the prices and food quality less than ideal and it won't be high quality it has been. I once loved and recommend this place to all. Now I say look to Denver proper fot authentic Thai the qaulity and extra drive will be worth it.
delicious
This was our latest attempt to find great Thai food for date night. It was a success! We ordered online for take out. They did seem to ignore the pickup time we selected, so I would only order when you are ready to head to the restaurant. Take the spicy level warning on their site seriously. Medium was like Thai spicy at most places. The drunken noodles were great as was the pad woon sen. Egg rolls were crispy on the outside and not too squishy on the inside. We will be back!
What a wonderful surprise. Great service, charming atmosphere and the food was very flavorful.
friendly service✊ food is great 👍
Yummy Food.
Definitely lacks business skills!
The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM
Got in at 8:25 and the server mentions " kitchen closes in 5 mins and we can't dine in."
Might as well call the closing time 8:30 PM and mention on the website to not come after 8:00 PM. That will save people some time
The food is great but they have to focus on the orders more. My Thai tea order was screwed up. I got it with regular milk instead of almond milk and had stomach issues. I’m lactose intolerant. Thanks for screwing up my day.
Best Thai food I’ve had in US in a while.
I found out about this place when I dated a girl that moved here from Bangkok a year prior to attend school. This was the only Thai restaurant she would eat at. Now it's important to know I live 25 miles north, and when I want incredible Thai, I drive down here. There's good thai up north in Denver proper, but nothing comes close to Udom. The Tom Kha is purchased every single time, and then I try to work through the entire menu otherwise.
Got a to go order last night of $60+. Had to wait 30 mins. which I’m ok with. I had massaman chicken. It was awful! I hate fish and it tasted like straight up fish and was runnier than water! Tried it again today to make sure and threw it out! So disappointed!!
I've lived and worked in Thailand and this is easily the best, most authentic Thai food in the area!
Absolutely distasteful ordered pad chai and red curry whole food was smelling like fish even though we order no meat in our food. Please don’t waste your money find some other place!!
The food is constantly delicious. They will make hot, medium or mild. I got hooked on Thai food when visiting Thailand. The food at Udom Thai is authentic.
This place puts a warning on their medium and they ain't lying it was super spicy. We really enjoyed the food here and for me I like the challenge of spicier food. Will be back.
decent food but HORRIBLE prices and they often take too damn long to fulfill orders!!!!! It should not take 1.5 hours to fulfill a 3-dish order!
Really good food.
The spice level was amazing
Would give have given more than 5 stars if possible
I ordered online tonight and was told the pickup time was 7 pm. I arrived 10 minutes early and was told the kitchen is preparing my dishes. It turned out that I did not receive my order till 7:40 pm. I understand a 10-15 minute delay but not a 40-minute delay. The owner needs to notify the customers if the kitchen is running behind or hire more cooks. Waiting in line with me was another gentleman who told me that this is routine during the pandemic. Not acceptable.
The food is excellent, the last four or so times they have been 30 to 45 minutes late and the time they were 45 min late they forgot the rice. Hope they get their time estimates more accurate.
Terrible customer service. Ordered 2 items online at 6:15 pm. Told food would be ready at 7:15. Arrived before 7:15, waited outside but no activity. Called them at 7:25, told 10 more minutes. Called them again at 7:45 (15 minutes before they close), told order would be made next, 5 more minutes. Had been standing outside restaurant in cold for over 30 minutes because restaurant doesn't text, so you can't wait in your car. Not confident order would ever be made--canceled and asked for refund. Employee was not the least bit apologetic about the wait and seemed almost pleased about the order being canceled. When I asked for the refund confirmation #, she could not provide that--simply shared order #. WILL NEVER ORDER THERE AGAIN.
We placed an order to pick up. Never received a call. Went to pick up, we’re asked to wait “5 minutes”. The placed closed at 8 pm and they never brought our food or called.
We even attempted to call multiple times with no response.
The reviews were so good I didn’t want to leave a bad review for taking too long. But when your never call and never deliver the food and then close...
Yum! Came here for the first time last week and loved the food! The cream cheese wontons were the best wontons I’ve ever had. I also ordered pad thai which was delicious and very flavorful with the sauce. Great place to check out in the area, highly recommend! The pad thai also makes delicious leftovers.
First and foremost, this place has great food at a reasonable price. My fiancee and I have been ordering from them for about a year now and their food is definitely one of the better Asian food places in the south metro area. My fiancee is vegan and they have a decent amount of options for her as well which can be pretty hard to find at a Thai food restaurant. Sadly, we've also dealt with a decent amount of frustration in ordering from them as well.
The wait time for food at this place is typically terrible. Even on a random weekday you're looking at at least an hour if not longer to get your food. Their online order time estimates are usually inaccurate too with your food typically being 10-30 minutes past the estimated wait time. Yes, that means sometimes you'll have to wait an hour and a half to two hours for your food.
And look, I get it; food options have become more limited during COVID, but this sort of demand would typically be a sign to any business owner to hire more staff to meet that demand. I have no idea how many people are in the kitchen, but with wait times like this they easily need to double their staff in order to prevent people from having to eat hours past when they intended too.
But Udom Thai should absolutely keep doing what they're doing with their food, but they really need to hire some more staff to reduce the ridiculous wait times customers have to deal with in ordering from them.
Wonderful staff who know how to guide their customers. Honest about their suggestions. VERY tasty food. We are new to town and definitely will return. I give them 5 because they need to be higher than some others rated 4.3.
UPDATE:
We used to love their food. And probably still do. But their wait times are unusually long. I feel bad leaving them bad review. But if they need an hour, they should really have it in an hour. Not an hour and half. Even with pickup they are poor with timing :(
I lowered them from 5 to 4 stars for this.
Best Thai food in the part of the front range! Very authentic and that staff is very kind. This is a fantastic local business to support!!
Waited over an hour beyond their estimated pick up time. Of course they took our money so we couldn’t leave.
Not a bad place but their medium pad thai is blazing hot, so beware! Also had the tom yum which was ok
Udom Thai is my favorite local Thai restaurant! The panang curry and pad thai are MY FAVORITE and absolutely delicious. The owner met me outside with my order tonight and included a free side of veggie egg rolls that were delicious. I highly recommend them! Support this awesome local restaurant providing great food to the community.
DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This place is clean, quaint and completely unassuming from the outside.
My boyfriend - who is very well versed in eating authentic Thai food - took me here after raving about it being the best Thai he's ever had and I was NOT disappointed! This is the BEST Thai place I've had so far in North and South Denver. They have LEGITIMATE Thai hot (beware if you've never had spice from Thailand - it's not like the American "Thai Hot"), their food is always fresh and I haven't been disappointed once.
The waiters are actually knowledgeable about every dish and can give suggestions on dishes and spice level which is very helpful. We even took my father there when he visited CO because he's never had authentic Thai food. He got the most beautiful and flavorful vegetable and rice dish!
Con - A bit pricey.
Pad See Ew is Pad See Awesome.
Best Thai food in Centennial
Best Thai in the Area when they are on sometimes things can be really spicy
I absolutely love chicken pad Thai and have been looking for a place since moving to Highlands Ranch. This place was amazing. The serving size was massive and it was perfect. I normally can't handle Thai hot from true authentic Thai restaurants and I ordered hot today and glad I didn't take it up a level. Also the owner met me outside with my food along with a free drink Thai tee sample, very kind and friendly and can't wait to keep returning.
