The food was great!! my family and i went back to it after eating it a first time since Eric’s downstairs was so busy and they had a table open for 8 of us. they got super busy but the service never got bad. I usually stick with my typical chow main or pad thai but this time i tried something new and i loved it too the flavors and everything is just too good
I always try to review only after visiting a place twice. While the food is good the service is slow. Yesterday I came with only two other tables filled and it took 15 minutes to get miso soup and another 10 to get my potstickers which were warm, not hot. Today I am the only customer and it took another 20 minutes to receive my shy mi order. Now lets look at cost, see the photo below with water to drink was 19.28! These are the size of a quarter at the base and there are 5.
First here. I was so surprised how good the food is!! We had lunch and ordered beef pad see ew, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and had mango sticky rice for dessert. The chicken fried rice was exceptionally tasty!! Loved the flavors and texture of the egg rolls. Pad see ew was a little salty to me, but still good. I really enjoyed the mango sticky rice. I would totally come back and eat here again!! Really satisfied my Asian food cravings 🥰
I was so happy to find this gem! The service was great, food and drinks were great. I would absolutely go back! I dined alone for a little over an hour and not once was I rushed. This was really a good experience; thank you!
(I got the satay chicken and Pa Ka-Pow Beef I believe)
This is my favorite restaurant in Breck. It’s always our first dinner stop every time we visit. The food is always amazing, and the service is even better. Delicious, great ambience, extensive menu. Highly recommend.
If there aren’t any tables available, sit at the bar and don’t miss out.
I ordered the Tom Yum soup which was okay, but tiny for the price. Everyone at my table’s portions were small for the exorbitant prices. The tofu in my soup tasted like flavorless rubber. Several members of my group who ordered spicy Thai dishes were similarly disappointed with the spice level. Service was good, but for the prices, the food was very disappointing. I would go elsewhere in Breckenridge for Thai, and looking at the reviews for sushi here, I’d go elsewhere for that too.
I'm very disappointed in this place. I love Thai food is one of my favorite cuisine I make at home, tho I'm not Thai. It's still my favorite food. I ordered a fresh summer roll, and it wasn't authentic it didn't come with mint leaf and Thai basil. the most important ingredient is missing. How could you call that a Thai food without the authentic ingredients?, and the rice wrapper is hard. They rushed it and didn't soak enough to soften, or maybe it was sitting out for a while, and it got hardened. so I couldn't eat it all. The sauce is also disappointing because it's not made with peanut sauce.
I'm never coming back here.
Excellent Thai and a very welcoming and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
World class poor brain service… they literally had me and my husband run back and forth between 2 different areas of the bar so we can share a sake (due to lack of seating) - instead of just splitting the amount and giving both of us a half so we could have at least enjoyed our dinner peacefully, although separate…. Mind boggling… I get this gut wrenching feeling, this second class service is only bc we are Indian…

Sara took very good care of us! Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable. We’ll regulars from now on!
My party of 6 ate here Saturday night and had an amazing meal. Apps, Drinks, Sushi & Pad Thai were all outstanding. They had a vegetarian section of the menu which was great. The Mai Tai and Lychee Martini were both delicious. Service was very attentive, water was quickly topped off and multiple servers/owner checked up on us throughout the meal. Will definitely be back if we make it out to Colorado again!
Every time we walk past here it’s packed so we finally decided to eat here! Food was amazing and service was great! My kids even said it was the “best”!! A+
Walked in at 8:32PM for dinner. The 5 minute experience my boyfriend and I had was crazy. Coming from a bartender/waitress myself, I could not believe the hospitality offered as we entered the door. As Google states, this restaurant is open until 9:30 PM on a Monday night. To my knowledge, the closing time mentioned on Google reflects the time that the kitchen closes. As we walked in an hour before closing time (and the restaurant was still full with customers), I did not expect an issue to be had with being sat as a two person party for a quick meal. As soon as we walked in, the host greeted us with “Oh no, we are not seating” (even though there were plenty of spots open at the bar, where we offered to sit). I went on to mention that Google states that they are open until 930PM and I was confused as to why she would not seat us, but she did not care and shoo’d us out the door. Will not be returning.
The bar tender, Sarah was great. She made a very tasty old fashioned. The food is delicious and large portions so you have left overs. Sarah also took our food orders and Togo and was very attentive. Loved the service, food and overall atmosphere.

Had a fabulous time at here. The server was on point and food/drinks were perfect. Only issue was attitude from hostess, don't know if she was owner or employee but everything else made up for her short comings.
We waited 2 plus hours for our food
The food was great!! my family and i went back to it after eating it a first time since Eric’s downstairs was so busy and they had a table open for 8 of us. they got super busy but the service never got bad. I usually stick with my typical chow main or pad thai but this time i tried something new and i loved it too the flavors and everything is just too good
Good service, better food
If you're going for the pad Thai, beef pad see ew... those are good options. Friends are fam were happy with those dishes. I came for the sushi and was disappointed. It tasted like grocery store sushi. Definitely expected more. The service was great, staff is always kind and attentive.
We had a very bad experience, webhad a reservation and our table wasn’t ready. They were rushing other people to leave a table. Then food service was horrible it was about an hour to get our main courses. Hostess attitud is very unwelcoming too! Wouldn’t recommend and never coming back.
Rethink refusing to tell wait times over the phone. Refusing to give your customers the time of day is a bad policy. I’m sure the food is great.
We visited this restaurant for the first time and had a very disappointing experience. The staff member, an Asian lady, was incredibly rude and dismissive. When we arrived, she asked how many people were in our party but ignored us without saying a word. Instead, she began talking to the people in line behind us, arranging tables for them while completely disregarding us.
She then seated the party of nine, went inside, and never returned. Her rude and disrespectful behavior made us feel completely unimportant. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, she prioritized a larger group, possibly because they would bring in more tips and money.
As a couple of two, we felt ignored, disrespected, and unvalued. This experience left us feeling awful, and we decided to leave. We will never return and would never recommend this place to anyone.
Am always one to respect an off night due to an overly busy week or holiday rushes, but this place had terrible communication about their delivery service and was extremely disrespectful. Am a regular in Breckenridge and won't spend a dollar here again. Food was also sad at best, so there's that...
My wife and I ordered pad thai. Both of our pad thai dishes were burnt. My wife immediately sent hers back, but I decided to try and power through. I only ate a bit more before deciding it was too much. They exchanged mine for a fresh one to go, and when I got home to eat it: it was burnt worse.
What I could taste in the initial pad thai past the burnt bits was pretty good.
Granted: they did initially ask if I wanted to replace the dish, but I was hungry and I made an honest mistake. I did eat more of the original dish, and they may have thought I was trying to get an extra free dish. Maybe. But the majority of the dish was still in the bowl. I'd rather they have just said I'd eaten too much.
And so my qualm is this:
They're charging premium prices, and I got 3 burnt dishes to show for it.
Edit:
My father always hammered the notion of good customer service in my youth, and it stuck with me. People who take the time to address concerns in a review make me feel well taken care of. Great customer service, +2 stars recovered on the saving throw.
I believe the burnt pad thai was probably an honest mistake too, and so I will also add this:
The burnt pad thai was still pretty freaking delicious. I can only imagine how good it was unburdened by a simple mistake.
I can honestly say I believe the premium prices are earned. It was just one of those days.
Cheers.
The food was a mix of good and so so. The appetizers and the food was all over the place. Some entrees came before the appetizers and our coconut shrimp came after we all ate our entrees.
Although it was busy, the food and service were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the vegan options.
Andrew was the best part of our night. He took the time to make sure that our complicated order was optimized. We were all very impressed.
Thanks Bangkok Happy Bowl!
My friend and I were going out to dinner and tried to make a reservation. They would not accept a reservation for two. That is understandable. When we showed up, the woman who greeted us, an older Asian lady looked very annoyed to see two more people come in. She then asked how many and then stared at a pad of paper before eventually ignoring us and walking away to the back after three minutes a young Asian male came out and asked how he could help us. We told him we wanted a table for two. He didn’t look down at his notepad like she did. Then he started talking to the people in line behind us. We walked out. I will never come back. I have lived in Colorado my entire life And Breckenridge resident. It’s unfortunate, I have seen so much advertising on Facebook and I wouldn’t bother. Sending anyone here. What an awful feeling this was.
This is my favorite restaurant in Breck. It’s always our first dinner stop every time we visit. The food is always amazing, and the service is even better. Delicious, great ambience, extensive menu. Highly recommend.
If there aren’t any tables available, sit at the bar and don’t miss out.
Ordered the soup, a sushi roll, and the drunken noodles. Noodles weren’t cooked well, but the accompanying beef was pretty good. The soup had good coconut flavor, but was ultimately bland. The sushi rice was hard. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say it’s Xmas week, so they’re a little busy. I will return and try again when it slows down.
The food was far from being Thai food. The prices are extremely high and the service was awful. We waited an hour for the food.
Charging 20% tip without any justification.
Authentic Thai food. Phenomenal!
Food was legitimately out of this world!!! Would have taken a mountain of leftovers if we didn't have a flight the next morning. 10/10 would recommend
Fantastic food, friendly service, and an enjoyable welcoming dining environment.
Andrew was the best server.
His service made meal perfect.
Thank you Andrew.
Delicious food, nice sushi and warm atmosphere.
Everything was really great especially our bartender Andrew who makes the best drinks. My friends loved their espresso martinis and he suggested a great whisky for me to try. Must visit if you like Thai food.
Ordered Tom yum chicken soup , portion was egregiously small. I used to be able to get a good portion of soup before this new guy bought the place a few years ago. Sad but gentrification of once great value spots is a way of life in breck. Guess I’m Lear ig to make it at home :(
I was so happy to find this gem! The service was great, food and drinks were great. I would absolutely go back! I dined alone for a little over an hour and not once was I rushed. This was really a good experience; thank you!
(I got the satay chicken and Pa Ka-Pow Beef I believe)
We had the crab rangoon which are the best anywhere. The
Guns ‘n Roses roll was outstanding, and the green curry was spicy and flavorful and had delicious vegetables! A little pricey, but worth it.
Wonderful food and friendly staff! Highly recommend.
Food and service was superb. The menu offers something for everyone ranging from Sushi, Thai food, and more. We ordered a couple of their signature rolls, chicken pad Thai, and some additional items and everything was great. We plan on coming back every time we are in town.
We’ve dined here a few times. Every visit has been exceptional.
Very bad
Below average currys. Tourist trap.
Skip and go to some of the other wonderful restaurants in town.
Delicious Thai food in Breckenridge. Cute atmosphere in restaurant.
Pricing and quality don’t match up. Perhaps the rents are super high but then should attempt to provide the best tasting food. They just didn’t make the cut. Location is great. The restaurant was nice and clean. Thai food is my favorite so I was a little disappointed.
Service was great! The food was amazing! :) and Andrew was such a good host and server! I'd reccomend to anyone to come!
We loved this place, while our stay in Brackenridge we visited twice this restaurant. On our second day our server Andrew went above and beyond to offer an excellent service. We even thought he was the owner, he seems so attentive with each customer. We really enjoyed.Food was great 👍 too! Family visiting from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and TX!
The sushi I got was amazing, very yummy. The service was very good as it came out very quick. The manager was awesome as he closed our umbrellas, escorted us into the restaurant, and sheltered us from a thunder storm that was going on. Very kind and brave man. Highly recommend the AC/DC Roll.
The food is amazing! Service was pretty good! And a great atmosphere! Good outdoor seating, wide selection of menu, and many great items!
I love their yellow chicken curry, thankfully purchased here before reading reviews haha
We enjoyed all the food, including the AC/DC roll that was clearly fresh and tasted really good. Our server Dulce was good, and had an overall really good happy hour experience. With three 13 year boys, that’s really saying something!
I are the Panang Curry (hot, absolutely delicious! The server was super nice too.
We had a very early dinner here a couple of weeks ago - my friends and I were so impressed with the sushi. We had a tuna sashimi appetizer and a few of the headliner rolls - they were all amazing, fresh and some of the best sushi I’ve had since living in Colorado. I will definitely be back!
My experience at Bangkok Happy Bowl Thai Bistro and Sushi was nothing short of a nightmare! The service was terrible, but what truly disgusted me was the appallingly low quality of the food they served. With my background working in numerous sushi restaurants, I have a keen sense for fresh fish, but the sushi here was not only subpar, it was shockingly warm and clearly not fresh. I had to stop eating midway through my meal as I could sense that something was terribly wrong.
As if that wasn't bad enough, a sushi order that our negligent server forgot to input thankfully got canceled. Unfortunately, my partner consumed more than I did and suffered from food poisoning all night long. In my case, I was jolted awake at 3 am by severe illness that lingered into this morning. Adding insult to injury, this horrendous experience cost us nearly $300.
I urge you to learn from my mistake and spare yourself and your digestive system the torture by steering clear of this establishment at all costs!
I went here for dinner last night with my family, the service was not horrible, but definitely not great. Everyone seemed annoyed that we were there and once the restaurant started getting full everyone was running around and had no time for us.
I had a sushi roll with tempura shrimp and, while the taste was ok, had one of the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had.
Kids had fried rice and it was ok. Others had curry (very spicy) and other sushi rolls with no issues.
Likely a 3⭐️ meal had it not been for the bad shrimp and food poisoning.
The service was actually great so I hate to write this bad review. My friend and I ordered a Philadelphia roll and the sushi love boat combo. I kid you not, we had to trash everything. The fish was old, warm, slimy and just didn’t taste real. As sushi lovers, this place was really disappointing. The Thai food we saw at other tables looked delicious
Great spot for a group of 6-8 which is hard to find on Main Street. Service was fantastic and super friendly, and the food was good, too! Would definitely come back!
Awful customer service and extremely rude attitude. Very small portion size. Gave rice containers half empty and when asked, was told thats their portion size. Save your money, time and mood. Also, not to mention undercooked edamame.
We went at a busy time. But the food was excellent
Too expensive. Pad Thai was horrible. Tofu was hockey puck hard. Thankfully, after I complain, he did refund the purchase of the pad Thai.
In short -- We've had better for half as much. -- The Orange Chicken, Pad Thai Chicken entrees and my Mai Tai were very tasty. The water had an unpleasant taste of softener to it and the soft drink my husband ordered after being sold out of the beer and cider option that would have been chosen initially to avoid that flavor had a high water to soda syrup ratio that was also not very pleasant. We were very disappointed by the coconut shrimp appetizer, 4 slightly overcooked shrimp on a bed of mixed greens while healthier than what I anticipated being served is not something I would recommend anyone order for the price. We expected a LOT more out of the experience for what the final bill was.
I ordered take out, the host was very nice. However, the food was embarrassing. Everything and I mean everything was smothered in soy sauce or some sort of stale flavor. The California roll was bland basic and HARD??? The miso soup was overly salted as well as the ahi tuna roll that was overly salted and didn’t really have any real tuna inside. The fried rice was a saving grace so definitely recommend that. My friends and I were very excited to try but unfortunately were so disappointed
Been here 3 times and the food and service have been great!! The Thai food is very yummy here and the servers are always very kind! We’ll be back!! Thank you
The food was not good. We are local and have never been here. We decided to try it for mother’s days and what a disappointing meal for me. I’m very sad that this was my Mother’s Day dinner. It was all pretty gross. We will not be back. Don’t waste your money.
The crab wontons were the worst I’ve ever had. The orange chicken tasted like someone dumped a bunch of orange juice on it. The pad Thai tasted very off, almost like tomatoe. All the food was gross and I left feeling like I wish I could have my money back.
Super disgusting Mother’s Day meal! This local will not be back.
Always my go to when in Breck, but getting out of hand on price. Almost $25 for a little bowl of curry. Great flavor, but too expensive in my opinion.
the server was soooooo nice
Loved the food! And the Asian serving. The tall white guy behind the bar is the worst. You have to go find him for anything! After my food came he turned his back to me and never asked me if I need anything. Very weird bar service. Had to go find him for anything I needed. But the food is great!
Sushi was awful, couldn't stomach it.
The bar was sticky, the utensils were sticky, and the food was AMAZING.
Got takeout. Probably would not order from here again. The food was good enough, but not great. The small portions at a high cost is mainly why I would hesitate to return.
Some of the best Thai I’ve had in the US. Pad Thai and Green Curry (both with fried tofu) were fantastic. Highly recommend!
Great food, great service! My partner and I split the spring roll, pad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice — and I would recommend ALL of them.
Food = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Atmosphere = Cold 🥶 (haha jk that’s just outside) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything was really good. Service was immaculate. Will come again.
PS. Don’t listen to Sophia Carpiniello is a nasty witch with an attitude and no happiness inherent life.
We came on a Monday night and it was so good that we came back on Thursday night. Food is really good, service was great. No idea how/why this is rated below 4.5x. Excellent overall
Staff here are all so lovely! Best food for a long ways, best happy hour in town, thank you Happy Bowl for so many wonderful times!
Delicious food, awesome decor, and excillent service. Will be back for more.
DO NOT ORDER THE SUSHI!!
The sushi was absolutely disrespectful. Please stop serving sushi if you’re going to continue with this type of sushi, please. The sushi was so bad I wanted to go outside and throw it up. Gas station sushi would’ve been better than this. If I could give a negative star review I would. The server kept coming by to check on us because she could see the disdain we had for it and she felt bad. These servers are too good to be serving something so foul and grotesque.
We had a group of 9 for a bachelorette party and the staff were all so accommodating and welcoming! We had made reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. We all ordered sake bombs to celebrate and our server, Eden, made it a whole production with a chant and everything. It was so fun! Food was amazing (highly recommend the Guns n Roses Roll). Drinks were stiff!!
Visited on a recommendation. And we weren't disappointed. The food was spectacular--top shelf! The restaurant was understaffed. And we had to wait a bit for the food and the check. But this seems to be the new norm as staffing shortages are everywhere.
I would absolutely go again when I am back in town. We drove in from Keystone.
First place I ate when I arrived because the decor outside caught my eye.
The service was really good and quick because I think I got there before any lunch rush.
The edamame were okay although I’ve had better.
I enjoyed the yellow curry noodles a lot. It wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be and I was okay with that. Seasoned so nicely.
The sushi was chewy and stringy, and it tasted worse than grocery store sushi. Do not get sushi here. We ordered the VIP Boat. DO NOT GET IT. It was disgusting and so not worth the money
The manager or co owner, Oak, was also extremely rude. I actually think it may have been the worst sushi I’ve ever had.
DONT EAT HERE. The fish was actually not edible. We ordered the sushi boat for $90. The sushi was clearly dyed to look fresh. It looks like it was taken out of a grocery store a week ago. When we let them know the fish was bad, the server looked like she had gotten that feedback a lot. The manager Oak was rude and only gave us 10% off of our $90 bill for something we couldn’t eat.
Reservation was at 6p. We were in a line trying to get through & they gave our table away. Packed like crazy. We eventually got a table. Food was decent, staff friendly but way too busy, loud & small for the amount of people they were trying to cram in.
I’ve been coming here for years and the food and service are always 10/10
The food is AMAZING! My husband and I loved it.
Nice place on Main Street. Delicious food and cozy.
Koa soy tastes like Nan
They were able to accommodate two more people and the food was good!
Good food, fast and customer friendly service.
They served us cold food and microwaved it and yelled at us for complaining. The absolute worst staff in the world. They were extremely rude and manager was the worst person I have ever met. He didn’t speak English and just told us to leave. Please do not come here.
Extremely disappointed. Food cold. Manager horrible attitude. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here
My hubby and I visited the Breckenridge location while on our honeymoon and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the food!! Everything from the Mule, Orange Chicken and Sushi was incredible!!! I was surprised they didn’t have shrimp sauce to dip my sushi in, but overall the food and drinks are incredible!! Great service, servers are attentive, we spent $100 after tip for egg roll appetizers, 2 cocktails, 2 Cali Rolls, 1 JTB roll and a Bowl of Orange Chicken with white rice and veggies!! Great price for all that food, with leftovers!
Chose this restaurant bc it advertised ramen on google but they took that off their menu a while ago and did not have any ramen options available.
Was told all classic rolls were on happy hour then got the bill and was charged $4 extra dollars because they said the classic roll we got was not on happy hour.
We had a party of 10 and were charged 20% gratuity that was not mentioned. Waitress did not do much, no drink refills either.
Restaurant was pretty, but food was nothing special especially for how much we spent.
Had a great time at the bar. Fresh food, good sake and even better music
Lovely place for dinner. Sushi was fresh, chicken fried rice was delicious, and service was great! Will be back.
We got some mid-tier overpriced food and I didn’t leave a tip because I didn’t feel it was earned. I forgot my card and went back to pick it up that evening. I was given my card, along with my receipt and a pen. The hostess/waitress said “you didn’t leave a tip”. After saying as politely as possible that I’m not obligated to tip, she walked off to the back, obviously upset with me.
I can’t prove she did this, but I woke up the next morning to a text from my bank that someone tried to charge that same card for $29,155. Kind of feels like someone was trying to ruin our trip by shutting down my card. Even if she didn’t, I wouldn’t go back to a place that pressures customers for tips.
Being a huge sushi fan, might be the worst I've had. Calamari was delicious, drinks were decent but very small and over priced.
Comfortable setting was nice.
If food was average would've had a much better experience :(
Do not order the Massaman curry unless you are expecting chunks of old beef chuck that belongs in a stew, instead of flavorful slices of tender beef. Also whole pieces of peanut instead of ground, and the carrots are thick and hard slices. Curry has a basic sweet taste. 0/10 do not recommend. Plus it’s $25.
Super friendly on a busy night, fantastic food, love the house made chili oil. Tom ka, which we have in many places, is fantastic here! Same for the mussaman curry (especially with added chili oil).
Was in the mood for fried rice and my normal "go-to" spot in Frisco (Chinese Szechuan) was closed for some reason. So I decided to try this place. Not only was it extremely over priced but the Fried rice was nothing to write home about maybe this isn't the right place to be getting fried rice from or they specialize in other areas. But no matter what, 50$ for fried rice and crab rangoon is just outrageous. I should have just turned around and left when the lady rang my to go order up. Wont be back, don't make the mistake I did no matter how much you're in the mood for fried rice.
Pad Thai and Panang Curry dishes were amazing!
Do you know how impossible it is to find "real Thai" in Colorado? We have been trying all over Denver/Aurora and everywhere around Colorado for the last 14 years.
In 2009 my wife and travelled from rural Chumphon Thailand (east coast, no western tourism over there) for 3 weeks enjoying rural Thai cooking down the east coast down to Khanom City.
This is real Thai from scratch, everything was exactly how it should be when it came to our Pad Thai & Green Curry (the hardest dishes to nail-it).
Anyone complaining about not-worthy food here needs to head right back to their Panda Express for their authentic asian cuisine.
-Additionally, the staff were excellent, the restaurant is high-end decor and atmosphere, this is the perfect restaurant for anyone looking for a real Thai experience and memory.
The food was awful. The wine tasted old, and the ambience was dreadful. So quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your appetite there.
The food was flavorless. All dishes the 8 of us are. The appetizer was the best part of the meal.
Stay Away!!! This place is disgusting. I never take the time to review restaurants, however I had no choice here.
First, the bathroom was filthy. No soap In dispenser. Door handle looked as though it had not been cleaned in years. Urine all over the floor accompanied with wet toilet paper at toilet base.
The edamame came out with this sweet sauce that was beyond sickening.
We ordered a house salad and it came out wilted and brown. Rabbits would not of even eaten this slop. They served two different dressings on a petri dish that weren’t enough for the salad. We had to mix it ourselves. The dressing was horrible. There was so much fill salad and it was overflowing on the small plate. We couldn’t even mix the dressing and if he wanted to. Horrible presentation.
We then ordered a dish - we both were very clear that we did not want any spice and please send the spice on the side.
When the dish arrived, we could not even eat it. My wife typically orders between 9 and 10 as far as the hot ratios. Her eyes were watering and she could not even enjoy her meal while me and the other hand, I took three bites, and was gasping for air and water.
Then we get it sometimes things happen. Maybe the chef didn’t get the memo. Of course, the server was nowhere to be found and I had to ask the hostess to please bring me some water not only was our hostess snippy. She had an attitude from the get-go.
I asked for the manager to explain that we specifically asked for no spice, and this dish was layered in hot red pepper. He looked at us and said oh “you eat half and you no pay.” we begin to explain to him that we ordered one to share. A portion in the dish remaining was left there because I took two bites and couldn’t take it anymore. Both him and the waitress insinuated that we were lying and trying to get out of paying.
This has nothing to do with payment. At the end of the day, I paid for the entire dish. Regardless, the was a food horrible, the service was worse. Although the place decent atmosphere. That’s all is going for it. The manager is a complete jackass. And has zero customer skills. And the remaining staff was equally as rude.
We happen to be in the trolley the next day, and there was a tour guide, recommending restaurants to other patrons and as we drove by that restaurant, we overheard her say don’t go there this place is really bad. Of course we chimed in and told our story.
In closing, the place is dirty, the presentation is very bad, the the food was beyond horrible, the customer service beyond bad. I would stay far away from this place. We had a great experience at Mi Casa if you like Mexican food. Amazing staff and food.
Places such as “Happy Bowl” are far from happy and should be boycotted as they do not deserve to be in business for a host of reasons.
When you see this place run!!!! Horrible experience on all fronts. 😩
We ordered an appitizer, salad and entree to share, it all came out at once. We felt rushed. We ordered a dish "mild" and it arrived FIRE hot. Our lips were burning. When we brought it to the attention of management, the manger/owner simply shrugged his shoulders and truly couldn't have cared less. My husband left hungry and very upset by the horrible service. We won't be back.
Food was bland and drinks were made with too much cheap liquor. For example: "coconut shrimp" was NOT at all coconut, just flavorless panko. All the sushi tasted the same. Service was fine but the rest of the experience was not at all worth the money we spent there. Probably could have spent half as much at a better place. Save your money and skip this one.
DO NOT EAT HERE. This place is mediocre at best. Read the rest of the reviews. The food was not good. It was WAY overpriced. I would have been disappointed even if it was cheaper though. We spent $125 for 3 rolls and 2 appetizers and none of it was good. Again, save your time and money. The owners clearly don't care. The only positive was that the service was good.
I had the Tom Yum Soup with shrimp which was not spicy, sour or yummy; and only had 2 shrimp. It tasted like Campbell’s alphabet soup without the alphabet. I love Thai food - but this was not good. Very disappointing.
Service was great. Food was awful.
We have been the this restaurant several times over the years. We were excited to return when we got back to Breckenridge. This time, the service was poor. The server didn't know the menu items and could not help with recommendations. Two of our party ordered chicken skewers with mixed vegetables. It was pathetic. The 2 small skewers and a bowl of sad vegetables for 20 bucks. I've had better airplane food. I liked what I had but the overall experience was a big letdown in service, taste and experience over previous visits.
Friendly, professional customer service and delicious food every time I've visited. One of my family's favorite restaurants in Breckenridge. Highly recommend the sushi and the noodle dishes!
Great vegan tofu options
Overall good food and good atmosphere. Some food great... Some just OK. A bit pricy even for a tourist town ($20 for calamari with 8 pieces as an app).
The atmosphere looked really well decorated and nice as well as the menu, so my family and I were excited to try. Unfortunately our experience did not match our expectations. The orange chicken was mediocre at best, and was very different than what we have eaten before. Being first timers, we were unaware of how it was prepared. When asked to get something else to replace it, our server treated us with complete disrespect and sighed. She brushed it off and we had to ask once again to order something else. She then brought out another guy who i’m assuming was the manager? And he told us “I don’t know how you don’t know what you ordered.” and had a complete additude towards us when we were nothing but friendly. The rest of our food was pretty good overall, just wish the staff treated customers with more compassion.
Looks great inside good sushi great presentation
Great food , nice drink and good service .
Great service. Love the atmosphere. Great Drinks. Customer service is on point. Sushi is on point. Thai food is good. And it’s right in a great area near everything.
Food was very good and taste like authentic thai food.
The Chicken Satay appetizer was great, the cucumber sauce that accompanies it was delicious in its own right.
I wasn't too fond of the egg rolls as the filling inside was like mush, I prefer when the inside is more firm so a bit of a turn off there. (This seems to be a consistent issue at many places so maybe I have the wrong impression of what the filling in an egg roll should be like).
I'm not a fan of orange chicken in general but my companion was, and he enjoyed the orange chicken bowl. The carrots and broccoli in the bowl were minimal and were my favorite part, I love me some veggies and would have ordered a bowl of those separately. I wish the bowl contained more veggies. The rice was as to be expected, yummy.
Service was prompt, to include getting our order promptly after ordering.
Would recommend. But don't know if I would return. Worth the try.
We sat on the back patio, where the restaurant next door had a live singer, that was a nice touch to our meal.
I am not a picky person but Safeway makes better sushi then this place
Went for lunch on a Monday in the summer. Service was super attentive. Helped make sure I continued to have shade for me and my 3 month old. Sushi was super fresh, I was impressed! Rainbow roll had real crab, not imitation like most places. Was a beautiful day to sit on the back patio.
Came during night time. Service was very attentive and quick. Sashimi was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious! The prices are not too steep in terms of the quality of the dishes. We also ordered some thai dishes - papaya salad was very delicious. The coconut shrimp was perfectly crunchy and was so good. Not pictured was also a shrimp fried rice which had plentiful amount of the shrimp protein which made it absolutely delicious.
We have been a few times because I wanted to give them a chance after a really bad lunch. The food did not get any better on subsequent visits. Absolutely nothing tasted authentic, and the dumplings were particularly egregious. They were hard around the edges as if they had been defrosted (but not fully) and reheated.
I have had better Thai food at the buffet at Wegmans or Whole Foods.
Great location, really bad food
Terrible experience with a waitress who lied and stole from us. Glad to be done with this, but want to warn others to avoid this place.
We came in, sat down, ordered, and got a call that we had to leave quickly in order to help my dad out about 45 seconds after we ordered. When I asked the waitress if we could cancel our sushi roll, she said no, it is already being made. I said that's fine, if its already made we'll pay and take it quickly to go. She took my credit card and charged a 20% surcharge on our order without giving a tip option (we had a party of 2, so there was no listed automatic gratuity). I noticed this when she handed the receipt to me and asked to correct this, and she refused. I then asked for the sushi roll, but she said it wasn't done yet. We waited an additional 15 minutes watching the chef make 5 other rolls before our own, making it clear that ours was not being made and she had lied to us. Once we did get the roll to go, it was nearly inedible, with the fish tasting old, and the rest of the Philadelphia roll off. I was stolen a 20% surcharge "tip" for the worst service of my life, and the worst sushi of my life.
Loved the atmosphere Bella was so nice and everyone there was so welcoming and nice
The worst food with lot of attitude waitress. She was freaking out on us. The food was horrible. I do not recommend. I would rate 0.25/5. That lady who took our order was so mean while the other waitress was helpful. Learn to give some respect to the customers.
I recently visited with high hopes and left feeling utterly disappointed. This take out experience was one of the worst I have ever had, and I regret wasting my time and money at this establishment.
First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, neglecting to check on our to go orders for extended periods.
Now, let's talk about the food itself. The quality was nothing short of appalling. The dishes lacked any hint of freshness, and it was evident that the ingredients were of poor quality. The flavors were bland and uninspiring, leaving me wondering if any effort had been put into their preparation. Furthermore, the portion sizes were shockingly small, considering the exorbitant prices they charged.
To add insult to injury, the atmosphere was far from inviting.
I sincerely hope that the management takes this review as constructive criticism and makes the necessary improvements. As it stands, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I have no intention of ever returning.
The beef smelled like a wet dog.. wasn't impressed
Really enjoyed our dinner. Service was excellent and food was served quickly and piping hot. Wonderful taste, huge portions. Great value. Will be back.
I didn’t leave a single a food particle left on my little tiny red bowl!
This was not my favorite place I’ve eaten at in Breckinridge, but it was not bad and the service was very quick. My boyfriend got the Bangkok Chicken Bowl and absolutely loved it! I got the pad Thai and I wouldn’t recommend getting it as it had a funky smell:/
Gross and overpriced
Great food
Disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Pat Thai and the 2 egg rolls appetizer. Paid total of $46. The noodles tasted like rice pasta with ketchup, the chicken was hard to find, topped with shredded carrots and minced nuts. Nothing impressive at all, very ordinary food I could have fixed at home probably much better. Overpriced. I don’t recommend this place.
In Breckenridge town, upon a birthday night,
I found myself with family, in need of a tasty bite
And so with laughter, we sought a Thai cuisine,
To fill our bellies, and have a lovely scene.
The restaurant dimmed, with lanterns soft aglow,
As fragrances wafted, to and fro,
We sat around, a happy birthday crew,
And perused the menu, with options anew.
From phad thai, to Tom yum soup,
I found myself in a Thai food loop,
And with each bite, my taste buds did sing,
Oh what a joy, this Thai food brings.
With spice and herbs, my tongue was amazed,
As I ate food, so wonderfully praised,
And as I sipped a Thai iced tea,
My family and I felt utter happiness and glee.
So here's a toast, to the chef who toiled,
To bring us such a lovely meal, so joyously spoiled,
And to my family, who made this night divine,
This Thai food meal, we surely must align.
This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. We ordered the Tom yum soup and it was basically onion soup. (I love onions) The server said they couldn’t take it off the bill because it was already made. But he could replace it with something else. We didn’t really want anything else but we agree to try to Tom kha, with no onions. It also came with onions and had little flavor. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they didn’t take something off the bill if it wasn’t eaten and strongly disliked. I overheard the server speaking with possibly the manager and he also did not try to rectify the situation.
Terrible unwelcoming customer service. The food is okay, nothing special.
Disappointing. The Khao soi and drunken noodles were VERY sub-par. I won’t be going back.
Ordered take out. 2 small containers of curry for $26 each. I wouldn't mind the highly over priced dishes if they were good. The curries were runny soup with not much taste. The vegetables were slightly under cooked and the potatoes in one dish were completely raw.
Taste was pretty good but unfortunately two of our party of four got diarrhea from the food and a third didn't feel so well.
This place is Thai-certified all the way around! My wife, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law were huge fans, saying this was the best Thai food they’ve had on our entire Colorado trip.
