Thai curries, noodles & stir-fries are served in an airy strip-mall space painted in warm colors.
We had two yellow curry chicken dishes last night. The carrots tasted 'off'. We've been to many thai restaurants including this one but last night something was wrong. We didn't go back and complain we simply threw it away without finishing it at home.
Also: We ordered mild spice and it was actually no spice and the curry sauce was more watery than normal.
For $40 you'd think they'd be more careful about giving us bad carrots.
$6 for a tea bag. Yup. It might say "pot of roasted rice tea" on the menu but it was a mug of hot water with a tea bag in it. Service was inattentive so despite when it was dropped off, she said "I'll be back with a pot of hot water", that didn't come until after we had eaten. And the pot didn't have enough hot water to fill both of our cups.
Our entrees arrived within 2 minutes of our appetizers, which is always frustrating. And the server didn't clear our plates so we just had stacks everywhere throughout the meal.
While there's nothing about the food to chase you away, we certainly found nothing to be excited about. Pad Thai was bland, garlic wings had no garlic and no other seasoning (but good texture) and green curry with duck was decent but the duck didn't contribute anything to the overall flavor. The people who invited us to try Jasmine were happy with their curry.
My third time here but never had problem with service. I guess the management wasn't prepared for bigger guest. Another downfall is that the guest before us was taken their order first instead of my party. When they brought us our menu we told the server we were ready to order and she said she wasn't ready to take our order. We sat there for almost half an hour and we notice the customer before us was already eating. We were that close of a second of walking out there and then the server came. We were still patient inspite of getting frustrated. I just want to get the management attention that first come first serve basis is still a priority.
I love everything about this place! The green curry was delicious, with a complementary salad adorned with a drizzle of sweet, tangy dressing and a small spring roll. The atmosphere is warm, with lovely flower lanterns and paper fans alongside seasonal decor. The wait staff is lovely and full of kindness. Parking options are excellent, too, and the menu is exoansive, with many vegetarian and possibly vegan options as well as meat selection. 10/10 will be coming back here!
The food is not good. It's upsetting to pay so much for a meal and not enjoy it. The meat is tough and hard to chew. The rice is mushy. The vegetables are mushy. I asked for medium spice and there was absolutely no spice. It was bland. No flavor. Will not eat here again.

Great food, and service was very nice and attentive. This is the second time we've been here and we'll continue coming back.

They probably use canola oil or something — their food is not good and makes you feel gross. Tom kha was literally orange in color and soooo much fish sauce. Panang was ok, pad see ew was atrocious. So oily and soggy and the beef was like leather. Do not recommend.
WARNING. Do not, repeat do not go by the prices on their big stack of to-go take out menus by the front regester. Every item is going to cost you 20%+ more than listed in it. Lunch, dinner, does not matter. 16.95 is going to be 19.95 etc. (and that is for an appitizer) I learned the hard way. I paid $9 more for three items than was printed. When I pointed out this fact the next day going there to ask them, the only thing they said was "yes, those menus are old" (???) I said then throw them away and print new accurate ones. They are VERY misleading. Their reply: "Have a nice day". PS: the quality of many standard items in past 5 years has really gone down hill. And I have been going there for 15 years. Or I should say have been but no longer.

This food had zero flavor, the yellow curry was very watered down, pad thai tasted like ketchup, also no real flavor. Appetizers were good and the thai iced tea was DELICIOUS! Never going back.

Good food. Great people!!!!
Came at 9:15 there closed says it close at 9:30
My buddy Jonathan's and my favorite Thai food go to!
I am not exaggerating when i say this was the BEST yellow curry i have ever had. i really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and how nice their staff was.
Great food, very good service and good vegetarians options as well.
The best Thai food in Ventura. Yes, even better than Rice by Mama. Jasmine has the most flavorful curries. I usually get the yellow curry. They don't skimp on the meat either.
Excellent food and great service! Prices are very reasonable. Love that you can opt for your choice of spiciness too.
Went on date night with my wife. Our food is always top notch. We came in just before a dinner rush and staff was great and kept up with everything. I always suggest this restaurant if anyone asks about Thai.
Good! Pretty spicy for medium and I’m usually pretty good with spice. Chill ambiance.
Great food and staff. Highly recommend 👌
Great Thai food, never disappointed.
Monthly Ladies Lunch Group. Pad key Mao my fav
I love food here. I had only one chance to dine in, though, I always take out for my boss. Eggplant with tofu is my favorite, and she orders it with chicken. Great service. Thank you for being so awesome 🌺
This was very good . The flavors were well balanced and tasty and most people won't have room for desert. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a very good meal at a reasonable price. They also do take out and were very busy with delivery services (doordash , ubereats etc) We went on Sat. night.
Had the Chicken Curry, was so delicious... 😋
I read reviews from the past so I was concerned when placing my order as the last review from a year ago was only a 1 star. I asked the person who answered the phone about the review, she assured me there was new management.
Was so hungry when arriving, I ate in the restaurant.
Pleased with my meal and staff working... 👍

First time here and I hate to say it but the food was not good at all especially the Tum yum super sweet and too much lemon.. and Every town I go eat Thai food I always eat tum yum so I do know when a soup is good and this one been by far the worst one yet ..left the whole pot and the regular tap water was so Disgusting why can they give us good filter water.. I hate that 🙄
I was surprised and impressed when this excellent restaurant opened up in my neighborhood. Their dishes are high quality and delicious. You can order online for pickup via their easy-to-use website. Their dining room is pleasantly decorated and comfy. They are always so kind. This even displaced my previous favorite Thai place that is a little farther away.
Hidden little Gem!!!! One of my favorites restaurants.
Don’t buy Tom yum here anymore. It used to be the best Tom yum in the city, but they substitute the broth with water, and now it’s garbage.
This is one of the best Thai place at Ventura county.
First time trying this place. We ordered take out and we will definitely be going back. Everything was top notch!! The coconut rice was so good!
Wow I wish I lived in town just so I could come here more often. Great atmosphere, great authentic Thai food, bathrooms were very clean, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend, and I'll definitely be back if I ever come to town again.
Was disappointed. I could tell the chicken was frozen . Was not given teriyaki sauce and I ordered teriyaki chicken . Will never eat there again
I got to say, that I've eaten quite a few different dishes from this place. It's been good every single time. would recommend
One of the if not the best Thai food places around... im kind of picky about veggies and they are so nice they allow me to basically make my own plate. Lol. I get to pick the veggies they put in...its perfect...then the meat is cooked perfect every time...I get the red chili and has the perfect amount of kick. You can also ask them to spice it up or down...if you like thai this is a must try if your close. We will and have been back multiple times. Going again tonight. 🤣
The food was amazing, we had the green curry which is the best I’ve had in a long time, the masaman was great, egg rolls amazing, and drunken noodles were perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly and helpful, when we dropped a spoon they brought us a new one right away without us even asking 🥄. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and since we came during the holidays there were cute Christmas decorations. 5 stars and will definitely be coming back. ⭐️
Good Quality food, but cost can add up after all the gratuity requested.
Horrible! I remember trying this place couple years back I got a line of hair in the soup gross!!!! Plus yesterday I was craving Pad Thai plus I am pregnant so I was like lemme just give a try again. My God !!!! Tasted very bad the shrimp was not cooked enough and I got a iced Thai tea I think the creamer was expired and they still wouldn’t give me a free meal really?
Food was ok the noodle plate was good and the egg rolls.
Amazing food!
Such a disappointment on my birthday. There was nylon filament brush thingies in my soup and who knows what else I got a stomach ache and the sticky rice was brown and hard as a rock! No. Never again!
Very good spot
Despite being told they were short handed, service was good!!! The food was delish!!! Everything was fresh, great flavor and steaming hot!!! So so good!!! A must try!!!❤❤😃
I felt the food was not fresh and the chicken satay's seems like pressed chicken
Great food, always a good experience and love the CA Curry with chicken and Calamari
Good food and easy take out during COVID.
I'm reposting my review because it's absolutely astounding how quickly the service has dropped. I had to return to the restaurant FOUR seperate times because they couldn't handle a not spicy yellow curry with beef with no tomato. I had to call them twelve times not even a second after placing my order to remind them not to make it spicy because the lady didn't repeat "not spicy" and hung up after reading it back to me incorrectly. They didn't answer those 12 times so I had to show up. I waited inside with not so much as a wave with 3 other people and called while inside the store after 10 mins of being ignored. They left the phone off the line.
They had to remake it because by the time they got to me in person it had been 20 mins and my food was already finished.
When I got home it was still spicy and had no potato's so I had to go back and tell them it was spicy and missing potato's
They "remade it" and when I got back home THIS time it was watered down and full of raw potato's. And I don't mean just mildly cooked I mean these potato's were raw.
Go back and repeat the process and I finally gave up and requested a refund when they added chicken instead of beef even after she wrote down my order AGAIN.
Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere elsem unless your comfortable with raw food and incorrect orders. If that's the case this is the place for you.
It was ok...
Definitely not as good as Rice by Mama though.
Very good customer service and food at a reasonable price!
Greasy and not as much flavor as other thai spots in ventura. Pricier than some of the better ones as well.
Excellent fried rice 🍚
Expencive but good
I tried my mild and my girlfriend's "no spice" meal and it was actually "hot" in both cases. I know with 100 percent certainty what we were given was not what we asked for. This is not the first time I've ordered from a Thai food place and the spice was exactly the same no matter what was ordered: Hot.
I have a feeling many Thai places just use the same sauce for everything no matter what the customer asks for.
My go to when asked, “I dunno, what do u want?” I always reply “Jasmine jasmine its the best, Tai food beats all the rest.” - I had 3 years on cheer squad so i wasnt born with this talent. Yeah foo, bamb food dog
I ordered pineapple fried rice and ask for chicken only! and got it with shrimps instead.
Ask for veggie rolls and got it with chicken.
The food was fine - .
New owners are coming in
Awesome food 👍
Came here to eat during jury duty. Just missed the lunch rush. I was seated quickly, drink order was timely. I had a curry bowl which I haven't in along while. It was absolutely delicious. Spicy enough to make me think about breaking a sweat. It came with a salad with a nice peanut dressing. I ate every single bite of everything. Cool little spot. Waitresses were super busy but handled everything well. I will definitely come back again.
Delicious emerald chicken curry.
We eat here often the food and service are very good!
Great neighborhood place with excellent service. Food is consistently good.
Great food & good price.
Great food and staff, go on a week day if you can they get SUPER busy Friday evenings- Monday.
Service was good for a Sunday.
Shrimp wonton was deliscious
The spicy veggies I got had decent flavor but not much spice at all. Make sure to ask for more spice than you'd expect.
Great place for food and conversation.
Excellent cuisine. Friendly service. Almost like being back in Thailand
Very Good Food and Service
Tasty local thai joint.
Love their food, hope they can have more space to sit customers on a lunch hours rush.
This place rocks!! The food was so delicious! The Thai tea was delicious & staff was awesome!! Thanks!
The food is always amazing.
Great food
A little salty but it was good atmosphere was good.
Really good food.
Jasmine has been my favorite for many years now,Going down from 5 stars to 3 stars now.We ordered Spicy fried rice ,the taste was good but had very little salt. It's strange that they don't have salt and pepper on each table.I got up and ask some waiter to provide SALT and after repeating 3 times ,he said he doesn't understand.I left without the salt and finish my food as I had to rush at different appointment.Need more improvement in serving and listening to their customers.PUT THAT SMILE ON WHEN YOU TAKE ORDER.
Best Thai food in the area.
Very good curry dinners.
Ordered extra egg in the fried rice & got charged $2 extra. When the fried rice showed up there was even less egg than normal. Fine if they made good. However when told of the issue & asked for more egg they said there was plenty enough and that’s al I get for my extra $. Wow, quite a rude response to a reasonable request. Normally the food is just ok, but this time they lost a regular with their absolute lack of concern.
Jasmine Thai has the best Tom Kah soup I've ever had. It's definitely the best in Ventura by far!
Decent Pad Thai
Amazing chilli and curry! The lunch special was amazing with lots of food and great flavor
Great food and service! Reasonable prices, too!
Great fast casual dining for Thai food. I love the yellow curry chicken and the Pad Woon Sen - stir fried silver noodle with egg, napa, onion, celery, carrot and tomato. Pad See Ew - flat rice noodle pan fried with egg, broccoli, and carrot in sweet soy sauce. Each dish prepared with your choice of chicken, beef, or tofu or vegetable.
Great lunch specials
Best Thai on the east end
Great lunch spot. Food and service were great. Would recommend.
Good Thai food. Nice lunch specials.
Good food and service
Love it especially their lunch special!
Great Thai food. Some of the best in the county.
Delicious Food!
Loved their Chicken Larb & spring rolls
Love the padthai!! Exceelent food and service. The green curry is delicious. Be careful the parking lot is very narrow with alot of traffic coming in and out of various restaurants. Witnessed my near collisions.
Wonderful! Always have a great experience here!
Eat at this place at least once a month. I always have a positive experience.
Amazing! Love this place!!🤗
Competent cooking. The food was too bland. The waitress was unwilling to ask the cook to fry my noodles as requested by me. Usually if I ask the server to give me fried rice instead of white rice they either charge me an extra $1 or 2 or give it to me for no additional charge. it is the unwillingness of the wait staff to even ask management if it is OK to make the substitution. I have since eaten at the restaurant an additional time by accident meeting a business contacts and talking business. I found myself back in here again and the same thing happened with me asking for them to give me fried rice instead of white rice but instead of asking to charge me another $1 0r $2 they wanted me to order a whole over $10 dish. This was a deal breaker for me as far as investing in being a repeat customer.
The food was not all brought out at the same time as preferred; I had to ask when is the next dish coming after the second dish was brought. Its true that 1 dish was a hotpot kind of dish and the waitress might have thought we were sharing that...but we did not specify that. I was not impressed with any of the dishes. Mediocre cooking and presentation of the dishes. I should have ordered the Panang curry. I ordered calamari and trio eggplant dish. Anyway...there are much better Thai places in Ventura.
The service is fine. Seating was a little bit of a wait before we were noticed. The seats were torn and old. The napkins had a distinct odor to them. The food was out very quickly which was convenient. The food tasted quite nice.
Best Thai around. Very quick 8f you need to pick up food on the go.
Excellent food for a decent price. I got the lunch special Pad Kee Mao. Delicious.
Amazing combo fried rice, get it w/o soy sauce
Fast service and food was great!
Awesome food & excellent service too!
I love this place!!!
