We came in as the second table while the other table of guests is already served! We had waited for a long long long tine! Then our food is finally served! However, we ordered four dishes and our server forgot one of them even though I already tried to confirm at the end of ordering! And she still argued that we didn’t order!

The green curry beef is overcooked!

But to be fair, other than the green curry beef, other dishes are good! And the environment is good!

For a long time there has been tracy Thai and Thai cafe. I have never liked either one. So happy to have another option in tracy. The food is really good and the service is good as well. I had the honey pork and brown rice. It was quite good and not too salty. My wife had the wide noodles with tofu and we shared the fresh roles which tasted nice and fresh. Would come back again. The place was full (it’s not too big) the entire time with steady take out traffic. All food signs that the food is good.

BEWARE ***Jasmine Thai restaurant is serving food mixed with very harmful chemicals in their spices. My wife was sent to ER twice with their food. Pad Thai vegetarian dish was the recent culprit. PLEASE BE AWARE and Save your loved ones and share it with everyone you can, so Jasmine Thai owners and investors can fix their food.

TLDR - BAD FOOD, Ok Service, no refunds or redoing even if they mess up your food.

As someone who frequently dines at Thai restaurants and values sharing both positive and negative dining experiences, I feel compelled to document my recent visit to this Thai Jasmine, which unfortunately ranks as my second worst Thai dining experience.

We arrived at 5:30 PM to find the restaurant moderately busy with 8 to 10 tables occupied and only one waiter on duty. After a lengthy 15-minute wait to place our order and an additional 35-minute wait for our food, our anticipation was met with disappointment.

The service, though courteous, struggled under the weight of evident understaffing which improved with time. Our server did her best under the circumstances. The appetizers were passable, but not without issues; the sauces for the jumpy chicken wings and fried rolls were mixed up, an error we chose not to fuss over at the time.

The main courses further contributed to our dissatisfaction. The 'medium spice' Thai fried rice ordered by my wife proved excessively spicy, surpassing the heat tolerance of even a South Indian palate accustomed to "extra spicy masala" food. Seriously “Don’t try without supervision” type of spice. It’s an error they didn’t want to review or correct by inspecting the food. Conversely, the Pad Thai, which I had requested spicy, was bland and lacked the advertised heat.

When we addressed these inconsistencies, another staff member informed us that they could neither refund nor redo our order due to a backlog and only one chef working. Again, nobody inspected to confirm and their response - “no refund, can’t remake this because of backlog orders, next time order low spice” :)

DAMN THE AUDACITY!!!

It's disheartening to see a business falter this way, and without significant improvements to customer experience, I fear for its longevity! I paid for everything and added a tip for the waitress who did ok(the other two were clueless on how to address the feedback, probably employees and were under strict guidelines- no refunds, no redoing, no inspection :) )

Very flavourful & fresh food. This is definitely the best thai food we have had for quite a while. We had the pad gra prow (a sauteed entree with chilli garlic sauce), The green curry and the Veg Basil Fried rice. We loved all the items, with the fried rice being the best. The default spice level is normal for all their items, but they have the option to make something mild, mild-to-medium, medium or hot. We took the medium and it was a bit on the spicy side. I wouldn't recommend beyond mild-to-medium for most people unless you are confident about spice. The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful in choosing the right items and spice level.

My go-to Thai restaurant. Staff is always welcoming and friendly and the food never disappoints! I have been coming for years when I lived in Tracy and still come back whenever I’m back in town. No other restaurant’s food can compare.

The staff is great and friendly. I would highly recommend the spring rolls. It's a great place for lunch, it's pretty busy during lunch and you might have to wait.

My wife and I travel a lot and always hit Thai Restaurants all over the US. THAI JASMINE IS NUMBER 1!! The inside is very simple and clean and doesn't have a ton of ornate elephants and such but the food is the absolute best. Always super freshveggies, great meat and flavors are memorable. Closed Sun and Mon so check online as are limited. I would say 4.8 and it's a MUST try!!

I didn't actually go there. I went to Whisky Purgatory Bar which is close. It was a unique experience, serving cocktails as well as whiskey. It's not really a place for dinner, but they do serve small plates of chicken tacos, chicken sandwich, etc and appetizers. The staff was friendly and the place was full. No masks required. It's a small place and they don't take reservations on weekends so go early.

Hella Thai food

Thai Jasmine used to be our go to place in Tracy, but not anymore. It has really gone downhill.

We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai. We were informed that the Pad Kee Mao only came with seafood which was fine at the time.

come to find out when we questioned the cashier about why only seafood was available, they replied that all the other meats were available as well and didn’t know why we were told otherwise. On top of that, the seafood portions have considerably less when compared to the other meat portions. We were also very disappointed when our dishes were served with spaghetti noodles instead of the wide rice noodles in the description of the dishes, as well as partially frozen seafood and vegetables. I hope things go back to the way they used to be soon, but we will not be returning

Called 4 times and they did not pick up. Drove 30 minutes to their restaurant and they said they could not serve me because they're backed-up 1 hour and 45 minutes with orders. Hmm... Hire more workers because of your "booming" business? It's not right when a customer calls 4 times and makes a 1 hour round-trip, only to not get served food. Take your money elsewhere - these people don't want it and don't care.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. This was my first time here and will be last. Took forever to get food and to make it even worse…a small piece of stone was found on the food. Really bad experience

Took literally forever to serve the food. Not sure what the hold up was but it was not explained to us. 2 plates should not take 1 hour wait to serve it. What I noticed they had been serving all the take outs first before the foods ordered to dine. Not a great experience. Food is not even the greatest. After 1 hour just the small appetizer was served.

We usually just get salad Gai and the occasional fried rice, but we've tried several other dishes from Thai Jasmine, and were very happy. I knocked off 1 star because they don't always answer the phone, which is super agitating when you are hungry. There's been times I have to go place my order in person and then wait in the parking lot for 20 to 30 minutes-or just pick somewhere else to eat.

Dude srsly one of the best Thai places in thr (greater) Bay Area. Consistently good. Everything is so 💣 I could cry. So far we’ve had fried fish pla rad prik, vegan panang, seafood gang panang (my mom’s fave and she has super discerning taste buds; they pack it w seafood), Thai basil rice, sticky rice desserts, insanely tasty salads... they’ll even make vegan Thai tea w coconut milk instead. So grateful this place is in Tracy, phewf!

This is one of our favorite places to go when we need our Thai food fix. The food is cooked perfectly and has very fresh flavors.

We like the their Salad Kai (Thai Chicken Salad) along with the Sautéed Eggplant and Vegetables with Fried Tofu instead of meat. The fresh spring rolls are refreshing along with any of their curry dishes. If you are looking for a good Thai Food Restaurant I encouraged our to stop by.

This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the world! The food is always delicious and the service is great! I recently let them know that I would bring a party of 7 for my youngest's birthday. When I arrived they had everything all set up for us Manager David advised us that they were very shorthanded that night. We still found the service to be awesome, even though they were busy!! We ordered 2 each of the fresh rolls and chicken satay as appetizers, then salad gai with extra chicken, chicken pad see ew, shrimp pad Thai, yellow and panang curry with rice, all mild and all no soy sauce, due to gluten sensitivities plus I can't eat spicy. ALL was totally wonderful and the total cost, without tip was $103... for all that food and for stuffing 7 people!!!

I have visited this place couple of times for my office lunch and every time I have tried different items - no doubt, they were delicious and reasonable price.
I relish their Thai ice team - not too sweet but at right amount.
The staff is courteous and space is well maintained.

It was a wonderful experience! I don't understand what others are complaining about. Yes, I agree, it's not a huge place but not as small as some people are implying. During busy hours, yes, you might have to wait a little, but I think it's worth the wait. The food is delicious. We ordered their papaya salad with prawns, yellow curry, and the grilled beef! The yellow curry was a touch sweet to my liking but it had great flavor; my daughter liked it (and she loves curry). The other entrees tasted very delicious and the staff are all very nice!

We LOVE their food but it is almost impossible to order over the phone. You literally have to call 10-20 times for anyone to pick up. With having such a small floor you'd think someone could at least pick up the phone. I've gone in to place an order after failing to reach them by phone and there was maybe 2 tables filled.

I was like No!😂😂 I love livw this place great service, the only small problem is trying to get a pre order phone rings and rings ,but I understand is because if you want great food you have wait in the line and I have no problem with that! Because tbe food is worth it.... Now if you want fast go get it at other place, because this is NO fast food this is delicious, exquisite clean cuisine 👍🙋‍♀️❤

While in Tracy for a business trip with some co-workers we came here for dinner.
We tried quite a few dishes and every one of them was excellent. We were coming from the midwest and it was so nice to have some FLAVOR in food again! I would absolutely come here again if I was in Tracy
