Absolutely phenomenal! The panang curry was the best I've ever had. Didn't realize there was Thai this good this close. We were driving to Malibu for Thai food that was sometimes as good as this visit. Happy to have found this and will be back again. The sticky mango rice was also a delightful treat to top it off. I loved the atmosphere as well. They also brought out a kids plate for my 3 year old, which was quite pleasant.
This was my first time trying Thai food....and it was delicous!! If you love spicy food do medium heat for you food! The Yellow curry with the potatoes were a good cool down form the spick drunken noodles and soup! The hot wings were sooo delicious and crispy!
I'm going to come back here more often!
The only down side was that I would like to have more napkins! I felt like when I asked they only gave me one more napkin lol .
But other than that food was delicious! First time Thai eaters need to try this place!
The food isn't good. Portions are fairly small. The prices are highly inflated. Would not recommend at all.
There are quite a few decent Thai restaurants in the Conejo Valley & several of them are very popular beyond what I would consider expected for the quality of their food. This Exotic Thai, though, is always a reliable go-to for my Thai food cravings. The quality of the food is always consistent & delicious. The staff is courteous & efficient. And I can usually get seated here without waiting half an hour like some other Thai restaurants in the area.
I haven't had everything on the menu but a few things stand out, like the pad see u, & the tom yum noodle soup with shrimp. Just good quality, fresh & tasty Thai food with a menu of most of the usual Thai food entrees.
It's located in the Palm Plaza shopping center & parking can be a little tight but I usually don't have much trouble finding a spot. The restaurant itself is large & airy & can accommodate larger groups easily.

They take forever
My go to Thai joint for 22 years!!!!
No service at all. Me and several other parties waited at the door for more than 5 minutes, but no one ever served us. The only staff lady in the dining hall were glued to her chair, and fixed her attention on the computer screen, acting complete nonchalant to customers. Several people left with disappointment.
The food, service and warm atmosphere is something we've enjoyed for years. Always charming and delicious. I suggest the Prik King dish if you like it spicy (green beans with chicken) and my favorite is their Tum Yum Gai soup, they allow me to sub broccoli for the mushrooms and with a little chicken the broth is to die for! Love these fine people, great food and very customer oriented. Cheers!
Great food. Great service. We really enjoyed our dinner.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Took my young family and EVERYONE thought it was delicious and friendly. Loved everything we ordered and can’t wait to come back and bring friends.

Fresh and tasty!
Love going here and always get great food and service.
Quaint little place that had a lot of character and atmosphere. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. I will be going back again and again.
Really good spot. We went there in a Friday night and a pair was running the restaurant it seemed.
Super traditional and they take their time.
Very tasty and recommended.
Best Thai in Ventura Country hands down.. And I have tried every restaurant in this area.
Love it!
Slow horrendous service. Wouldn’t come here again
Food is not great, but okay for the occasional indulgence.
Service is good, atmosphere okay.
Avorage Thai, the floor was sticky under the table.
The table was clean, but the menus were dirty.
Pad Thai was good but to sweet for my taste.
Exotic Wonton was Avorage
Chicken satay was really good
But really, that's good everywhere, right ✅️
I've lived in many different cities through the US and internationally, and honestly, this is some of the best
Thai food I've ever had. Incredible blend of spices, great variety of dishes, and everything tastes so fresh.
Additionally, the ambiance is fantastic. Beautifully designed. Great volume of music (and great selection).
Finally, the team that works here is lovely. Such a lovely experience.
Delicious food! The dining room seems to be set up more for takeout than for dine in and it’s a little dated. But I really enjoyed my meal, and the waitstaff was very attentive.
I loved it! The food was good, they gave it to me pretty fast and the bathroom was super clean. I’ll definitely come back
Food is always consistent. Lots of flavor
Horrible place to be picking up any delivery orders. They completely don't care about outgoing orders and only care about the people dining in.
Very authentic Thai food. We ordered Tom Yum Goong soup, Spicy Eggplant, and Beef & Broccoli. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Highly recommend this place.

Great food for a good price!
Have been to this restaurant numerous times and usually it is very good, but last night fell short. My combination fried rice literally had only two shrimp in it and hardly any chicken or beef. It was also pretty bland, so much so that I had to add salt to it. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't great like it usually is. One of my fellow diners also said his food was very bland and he gets the same meal every time and it is supposed to have a little spice in it. He actually sent it back and requested they redo it with some kind of flavor and spice but even when they brought it back the second time it was still pretty bland. It almost seemed like there was a different chef than there was in the past. I honestly probably won't go back again after last night's meal. There are just too many good Thai restaurants around to bother taking another chance on this one.
Near the top of the list for Thai food in the area.
Just now ordered meekrob crispy noodles and they are not edible. Called the restaurant and they were no help. Soggy, crushed and broken noodles. Will never order again.
Do not waste your money. Better to go to Bangkok Avenue. Excellent food and service every time.
The best thai food option in the Thousand Oaks area! Its always fast and professional service, and always delicious! Give it a shot, you will not regret it!
For whatever reason, the yellow curry has ZERO flavor. I’ve ordered it twice, 3-4 weeks apart and it has no taste other than spicy water. The first time it happened, it had the consistency of literal water with a THICK layer of oil floating on top. When I reheated that order the next day, the oil had congealed and it was really gross, especially since it should not be served with a full layer of oil on top. This is all really strange because the other location in Newbury Park KILLS it every single time and actually puts salt in their curry. I don’t know what it is about this location but it is definitely a huge waste of money to order a saltless, flavorless yellow curry. There isn’t even a curry flavor! So weird… and not good.
Overpriced. Prices are much more than it shows here. They forgot my pad thai and did nothing to make up for it other than tell me to come back and get it.
I remember coming here for with my buddy for a Door Dash delivery order and the lady in the restaurant (presume it was the owner) rudely told us it would take 5-10 minutes for the food to be finished. She was sitting down on her iPad counting money whilst we waited for the food. After 20 minutes we asked her where the food was and she kept telling us to just wait. Finally after an entire 35 minutes we cancelled the Dash delivery and left. What a disrespectful owner she was.
First time here and I'm truly impressed! Great lunch special for 12 dollars. Had a appetizer along with a soup we all shared. Excellent meal can't wait to come back.
This restaurant is a great place to eat Thai food. I had the roasted duck curry, and it was very delicious. There was some variation to the curry since I had last eaten here, so don't be surprised if some ingredients are added or removed from dishes. Beware that "medium" spicy curry may actually still be quite spicy, so go for mild if you are not prepared for super spiciness. I'm no stranger to spicy food, but even I had struggled to maintain my composure at times. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my visit. I'll be coming again soon.
After coming here regularly for many years, it occurred to me that I hadn't yet written a review. Everything has been consistently excellent. We occasionally try other Thai restaurants in the area but haven't yet found anything that is quite as good as Exotic Thai.
Excellent Food and friendly staff.
Rude service ALWAYS gets bad reviews. I know we all have bad days but, if you want people to come back-- be NICE!
Not as good as I thought it was going to be. $28 for two bad Thai's.
Ordered Penang curry and it was very bland, could taste a lot of coconut milk but no other flavor. Also ordered exotic spring roll, the chicken was dry and didn’t taste fresh. Disappointed!
Dine out setting. Delicious food. Great customer service. Sun shades. Relaxing. Nice view. Thank you
Is good
my favorite of all the thai restaurants in the conejo and simi valley. very honest, hardworking people who know how to cook spectacular food. example: just try their salmon gang ped just once.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The food was amazing and it was fast and hit when it was ready. 10/10 would recommend and we will happily return if given the chance.
Mi lugar preferido
Me encanta
Love tbis place. We go here at least once a month. The yellow curry with chicken is my favorite
I absolutely LOVE this place!! The customer service is great, the people are so friendly and the food is DELICIOUS!
Best Thai food between thousand oaks and SB. Best ive ever had
Delicious food, fast service
My boyfriend and I LOVE this restaurant. We order at least 3 times a month and it’s something we always look forward to. The food is fantastic and super flavorful. It’s definitely the best Thai food in the area!
Best Thai food in the Thousand Oaks. Fast service and great soups.
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Westlake Village / Thousand Oaks area.
So, why not five stars?
1) It's a little pricey
2) It is sometimes hard to get the food as spicy as we like it. Well, that's better than having it too spicy, but still....
3) How good the dishes are depends, in part, on who is cooking.
All that said, we have never had a bad mean at this Exotic Thai location. And when they are on their game they are REALLY good.
It's my favorite local Thai restaurant. The food is always good and plenty. The atmosphere is just right.
They have lunch specials Mo-Fr.
I enjoyed our Sat lunch. Thank you.
Delicious and spicy!
Really really good love the pad Thai and boba tea.
Great service and nice staff.
Consistently delicious. Then again, I prefer food to be more sweet than spicy. The Tom kah is extra sour.
Best thai ever!
Food great. Delivery messed up.
Food was delicious, ingredients were very fresh. My daughter loved their egg rolls and wontons. I loved the ambiance and great decor! Reasonably priced. We are definitely going back!
The best Thai food and Ventura county. The service is fair. They're popular and have expanded to more locations.
I don't come here very often but the servers still recognize me when I come in and remember my order. They are always very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food is incredible authentic Thai cuisine and even though I know this I am always blown away by the quality of the food served and the equisite flavors. The tom yum or tom ka gai hotpots are a must-try.
Always good food and good service!
Phenomenal food. Food alone gets this place 5 stars. Drinks and service were a distant second but the food was so good it barely registered with me that the other areas were lacking a little. Authentic. Spicy. Seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Delicious, in one word that's it. Was overjoyed with the food. Had not been there in some time, the menus change the quality of the food is excellent.
Consistently good food. And Thai tea!
We enjoyed the food from here, though they don't allow the Axxess discount on to go.
Very cool vibe, food was yummy, service was excellent, wait staff was patient and took time to xplain things
I loved the place! They have delicious food, a clean and neat place, great service and of course I'm coming back soon! I'll recommend it! 5 ⭐
Was great food, the price was hi. I paid 40 dollars for sake, chicken skewers, small Tom ka gai, and a tea. Other than that service was nice. I was the only one there so they were attentive.
Authentic thai cooking with great menu selections and excellent service. Easy to find with free parking. Try the rad na noodles, Mongolian beef and delicious, light dumplings.
Great Thai food place and excellent daily Lunch Menu specials.
Great service, good food.
Duck is good. 👍
Good food, But they keep messing with delivery!
They Used to be on Grub Hub and Eat 24 but something happened?
Looks like they are on Door Dash however.
Excellent food and service. Great price
Loved the duck. So tasty

Amazing experince
Food was cold and service was slow. Food tasted good though. When we asked they were more than happy to reheat it for us.
Went there for the first time on Saturday evening with my friends. The place was clean and nicely designed. The food was AMAZING!! totally took me back to Thailand :) Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavors and satisfying!!! I gave only 4 starts because of the service. The waiter wasn't patient, did not check on us at all (not even for refill on drinks) and that was a shame, because we loved everything else about that place!!
Always enjoy the food here. Fried wontons and chow main.
we went there with there 4 people (two sick adults and one sick 5 year old).
Oedered sea food hot pot. adults seasoned theirs with hot sauce. we also had steamed dumplings and egg rolls ( not big fan but they were OK) and panang curry.
at the end of the meal all of us were feeling revived. i think soup had the biggest contribution. the sick 5 year old was running after the meal :)
Ordered over the internet for delivery waited an hour as email said it would take. 10 min after we call. The women said they did not start making it yet because she forgot to grab the paper. They already charged my card! So now we had to wait another hour!
Friendly atmosphere. Good food. Ample parking . This restaurant has been around for years serving both Westlake and Thousand Oaks communities. Definitely worth a visit.
Good Thai food and very reasonable price...two thumbs up!👍🏻👍🏻
This is one of my favorite Exotic Thai restaurants. Good food; nice ambiance. Not crazy about the music.
Fabulous food. We had the ground chicken (spicy).
Great seafood soup and curries with choice of brown or white rice.
Great Thai food with very nice servers.
Best Thai tea ever
Veggie pad kee mao
Great steak and surprisingly good a la carte side dishes. My unexpected favorite was creamed corn, but scalloped potatoes, creamed spinach, sauteed m/ushrooms and side salads were all excellent. It's a bit like a maze between the different rooms: don't get lost.
Very good. Will come back here.
Great service. Fresh, flavorful, well-prepared dishes and excellent portions! Highly recommend!
Lunch is reasonably priced (Aug 2016 $8 for the food in this picture plus approx /2.90 for thai tea) so definitely well priced for what you get and IT IS DELICIOUS!
Very delicious thai food
Good Thai food. Love the Masman curry and the 3 flavor calamari. Rice doesn't come with the curry which is kind of lame, you have to order it separately. And when you get it to go, the portion of rice is never enough. It's white rice! How expensive can it be to include a decent portion with an order of the curry!?
Love this restaurant. A must anytime we are in TO. Masman curry is oustanding along with everything else we ordered (sizzling entree, pad see ew, pad thai, and spring rolls).
This is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been. i ordered a green curry, and it didn't come with rice. You have to order rice separately, who eat curry just curry alone without rice or naan. My friends in Thousand Oaks, DO NOT go this restaurant.
My family favorite restaurant in Newbury Park. The food is fresh and true Thai flavors from Chef Bo.
There ambiance is beautiful. I love the Kombuca squash with duck, War Won Ton Soup and the Thai Duck Salad. There is such a variety on the menu and it is all so tasty! I love to cook and this is where I come when I want a fresh and delicious meal!
Good food, with a great lunch special price (very cheap)! I had their lunch special, and everyone was very nice and attentive.
