Great restaurant, hidden gem. We ordered pad Thai beef & shrimp, tried the shrimp Tom Kha soup, beef skewers and even egg rolls. They were all absolutely delicious, quality food and service. Definitely will be returning, it had a good atmosphere and clean.

This local gem has delicious food with lots of flavor at a great price. Their Yellow Chicken Curry is one of my favorites with added broccoli. This is the dinner portion which is very generous and their lunch portion comes with a spring roll and cucumber salad dinner does not. Highly recommend.

Plenty of parking to accommodate guests as well.

The servers and owner were really welcoming and spoke to us like we were friends and the portions were pretty decent actually. Would go again especially for the lunch time special and the Thai teas lol.

Melody and her family are providing a delicious, authentic, homey Thai experience for a great price. I enjoy their spring rolls, green curry, pad see you, pad kee mao, mango sticky rice and thai teas. While the seasoning is perfect, they also offer the thai spice rack to augment the flavor into different directions, freshly made. Their servers are well versed in the product and fun to just hang around with. Honestly a hidden gem, easily overlooked in a small plaza that does not impress at first glance, but once you taste the food, you'll know it was worth the adventure.

Melody's restaurant is ALWAYS our go-to when dinner is up for debate. The family atmosphere there is phenomenal. My kids often ask about her food and go to melodies to "dance." Now the food!! Is absolutely delicious, especially her fried seafood rice (my favorite), pad thai, curries, etc. The waitresses and waiters there are always very nice, and Melody herself will chat amongst her customers from time to time. Thank you to Melody and her workers for providing a welcoming restaurant with delicious food for my family of 6.

Awesome place!!! The dishes I had were absolutely delicious (combination pad thai, pineapple rice, tom kha soup with chicken and crab ragoon) and I'm a harsh critic!

So starting from the parking lot, there's ample parking and the restaurant is pretty easy to find thanks to the overhead signage (Google map is also VERY accurate).

Once you enter, you're greeted with a pleasant ambiance suitable for an intimate date or small family dinner. I would recommend calling ahead if coming with a large party (6+).

I'd dock 1/2 a star 🌟 because the seats were unusually low. When sitting you suddenly feel like you're falling. Once in them you're ok.

The service was very welcoming and pleasant. It did take a little time to get our food but nothing unacceptable. Overall a great place.

Most amazing service and food.

Food was remarkably bad. The pad thai was oddly savory and served with red cabbage which just added to the funk. The tom yum was sweeter than an american pad thai and completely not edible. Whats worse is the food takes the prize in most oily ever. The deep fryer wasn’t hot enough so the wonton were cold soaked, the wok wasn’t hot enough (assuming it even was a wok) so the noodles were cold soaked to start. Asked for extra spicy which to them meant add 1/4 cup of chili oil to every plate. The soup especially was offensive with a half inch of oil sitting on top. Really didn’t like the saytay either. They left the beef in the marinade too long so it was broken down with an ultra gross slimy/grainy texture.

5 stars because I know how much these reviews impact people just trying to get by. People were really cool and the ambiance was nice but the food was disgusting and my stomach has been tore up processing all the oil for 3 days now.

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant, and the food was delicious and the ladies at the restaurant were very friendly, the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because they forgot to give me my steam rice even though I asked if all my order was inside the sealed paper bag, so when I got home I had to cook my own because I didn’t want to go all the way back.

I have eaten there about 5 time, Never ask how spicy, bland, Last time I ate there chicken I am sure two days old, Basil looked like little bits of sea weed . Ver small portion for dinner. Disappointed, my grandson liked his curry I am debating if I ever want to go back. Can’t compare to Angels in RS.

So happy I decided to tey this place today in my lunch break. The server Rosie was such a delight. I ordered the ginger & mushroom w/ fried tofu, it was delicious. Also some of the best veggie egg rolls. I’m definitely bringing my boyfriend back. I highly recommend this sun city gem. 😊

We dined in last night and as always, it was a wonderful experience.

The staff are wonderful. They do a great job making you feel like you’re at home. The food is always cooked to order and sometimes is delivered to your table by the Chef, it’s great!

We’ve enjoyed the chicken Pad Thai, fried hot wings, sticky rice, fried rice, and the egg rolls. All 10/10! I could eat here weekly to be honest.

Last night, at the end of our visit, I began feeling dizzy due to that being my first meal of the day and had to call EMS. The staff were very accommodating and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. It definitely was not something I ate or food allergy, simply me not eating and consuming way too much caffeine during the day! So a big thank you to the staff!!

We were in the neighborhood and craving Thai food so we drove to Melody Thai Cuisine for the first time.

We ordered a bowl of tom yum soup, hot wings, bbq pork ribs, and 2 lunch specials - pad thai with beef and garlic and pepper with beef.

The soup was served first and our initial taste was disappointing. It was sweet! We're not new to Thai cuisine and we've vacationed in Thailand 4 different times. Traditionally it's supposed to be spicy and sour.
Also, the side cucumber salad was bland. It's traditionally pickled in vinegar, sugar, salt and water.

However, the rest of our choices were delicious. The wings were fried perfectly, the pork practically fell off the bone, the lunch specials were on point.

Not listed... the Pineapple Curry is the best I have ever had. I have eaten Thai food on three contients!

This place was recommended by a friend, so we had to give it a try. Ordered the Chicken Satay and Green Curry Chicken. It was really good. I would definitely go back for the food.

Best Thai food I've had. Melody is a great person. I will say it's not fast food so if you're in hurry this isn't the place for you. But if your want to enjoy a great meal you definitely need to try them.

I was very hungry when I visited the restaurant. I was seated right away. There was maybe 4 people already seated and eating. After gave my order to my server. She walked around fixing tables with dishes and menus for a couple minutes. I think she should have went to the kitchen to put my order in first. She even sat some more people and chated with them. I didn't think this was good.
The food tasted like sugar was added. I have been eating Thai food all my adult life and I could taste the sugar in my soup. The chicken in my soup was tough and dry. I pulled it out and just ate the broth and noodles.

Food was good. Staff is friendly. But, service was horrible. It took over 50min to get our food for 3 people. The staff is not organized. We had to ask for hot tea 3 times before getting it, had to go to waiter for water, and had to go ask for check. They tried serving us the wrong food. Atmosphere: Not good, not romantic. We've been there twice and service has not change, very bad, disorganized and in disarray. We will not go back.

Food is good, when you can actually order it. Been here 3 times now and if you want to order online, you have to download and sign up for some app. If you call, you never get through...very frustrating. I don't want to come in to order out and sit there for 20 min. Pick up your phone!

It's my husband's Birthday and I invited 2 of our dearest friends for lunch and one of our guests had recommended Melody Thai - not only did we have to wait over an hour to get our food and it wasn't that busy, but 3 out of 4 lunches were not edible. The owner, Melody saw what was happening and WOULD NOT LOOK IN OUR DIRECTION, she is a horrible business woman!!! I picked up the tab and cried all the way home because I work hard for my money and this was such a RIP OFF! Menifee does not have any restaurants to speak of and I was sure hoping this would have been a great experience.... IT WAS HORRIBLE!

Excellent food options..for the family or date night!

There’s something really special about this place and the food is absolutely delicious. It takes a very long time to cook but it’s well worth the wait for such fresh tasting home-cooked food. We always get the Tom kha soup with veggies and the drunken noodle w veggies and tofu. Superb!

Won’t be returning I would give 2.5 stars but I can’t so I’m giving it a 3. The restaurant was dated but seemed clean. We ordered the chicken Satay for an appetizer. The chicken was flat and hard and dry. We took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. My husband said his piece of chicken Satay tasted rancid. I ordered the Pineapple Curry. I always get that dish and substitute the rice for rice noodles. The server brought me glass noodles and when I told him it wasn’t the right noodles he said they can’t give me the noodles I requested and then charged me an additional $3 for the glass noodles. The Pineapple Curry did have good flavor though. I was happy with that. My husband got the Pad See Ew. Hi liked it but it was super salty so he would not get that again. Customer service was nonexistent. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was delicious, we order to go and it was a really good quantity for the price. We had yellow curry with tofu and the broth was so creamy and flavorful, pad Thai was well season and all the flavors were just so good. Employees were so friendly, it's so nice to have a local Thai food. The inside look so cute as well, you have to give this place a try!

I had ordered the beef satay first after about 20 minutes I asked where it was. She came back and said sorry we are out of Beef. I had also ordered the green bean and chicken. The chicken was so tough and dry I could barely cut it they brought another serving of chicken out who was equally as dry and tough. It was our first time there, and it is our last time there I was very hopeful that it would be a great meal however, it was not in the service was questionable. needless to say, I was very disappointed..

Most food is quite good except chicken dishes....2 visits I had chicken which is consistently overcooked and tough. We complained but not satisfied. The orange chicken is very good, but the chicken teriyaki is the culprit for some reason. I'll never order again.

If you want delicious, fresh, homemade Thai food, you must try this wonderful restaurant! The restaurant owner Melody and the servers were so nice, and my family loved all of the food and drinks. If you have any food allergies or special diet, just let the waiter know and they can customize the meal for you. Melody also makes vegan and vegetarian faux “meat” from scratch, and can make all of the sauces vegan or vegetarian-friendly. I loved the egg rolls, vegan Pad Se Ew, and Thai iced tea. You can feel the love and time that’s put into the food.

I ordered yellow curry Togo today. Their food was delicious. I ate what I thought was black rice in the curry. And when I found second one and I saw antenna on black rice, I knew it wasn't black rice...but it was delicious 😋 I recommend this place.

As a former Restaurant owner and lover of regional foods, I am very selective. This is the best Thai Food I’ve had in decades. The owner, MowMow, is an amazing chef and so very nice, as is her son “Phillipe.” The low prices amazed me. A few bucks lower than I expected. I’ve finally found my special place☺️🤙🏼 YUM!

I went in and ordered 2 menu item for take out. I waited for 15 minutes. Two people came in after me for dine in. I noticed that one family was already eating. The other was having their order taken. I motioned to the server that I had ordered take out and it hadn't arrived. He asked what I ordered and left. Never came back to say my order would be ready in a given time. I watched the two servers serving others and never came back to me.
I sat and waited another 5 minutes and then left.
Customer service is important. I'll never returned to that Thai restaurant

Love the Pad Woo Sen I ordered. I was nit sure since I had not read reviews first. The A rating made me more at ease. I will definitely be back. It is close to me and that is a plus.

Lunch menu and specials are good deals. Lots of variety, the spring rolls were the best, and so was that sauce. Red curry was perfection, just wish the portions were bigger! Not that I need it, but it was so good, I just wanted more. It was so good. I think the staff needs some help, because wait times were long. But I know right now is tough times for restaurants and all small businesses.

If your willing to wait for awesome food :) .... this is the place.. I come out here from Long Beach just for her food and the service.... love it!!!!!!

Finally Sun City has a good Thai restaurant and they do take out.
They have a small staff, which is understandable with a new restaurant, be prepared to wait a tad. I have a feeling they will hire more once the word gets out about how good the food is. And get the Sticky Rice for dessert!

BOMB THAI FOOD!! 5 Star all the way!!

My husband and I had dined at Melody Thai about when they had opened. Our experience was horrendous. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered beef fried rice and my husband ordered a noodle dish. We waited over an hour for our food. When my fired rice was brought out, it didn’t have any beef in it whatsoever. I tried to politely tell one of the servers. However, she didn’t speak a word of English. I’m not trying to be rude, but this isn’t fair fair to a customer at all. A person that works in either a hotel or restaurant should be able to effectively communicate. Then my husband or myself flagged down the server that originally took our order. Somehow my dish came out in 5 minutes. Well, this was because my beef was undercooked. My fried rice was completely inedible, not solely because of the beef, but because of the rice itself. The noodle dish that my husband ordered was not very good either. The negative reviews of this restaurant are accurate. There were other issues that occurred at this restaurant as well. My husband and I will never go back to Melody Thai again.

The pad Thai I got to go is delicious! I wish you could see my happy dance. My daughter has celiac (has to do gluten free) the fact this restaurant has 2 pad Thai dishes with rice noodles blows my mind. Both are delicious- legit YUMMY.

We ordered online withe the dylish app from Melody’s website….timing of pick up of order pretty accurate. I was told estimated pick up 7:19. The order was in my hand at 7:22. Way impressed with the timing. Had to wait an extra minutes for the spicy soup we ordered, but the fact it came out fresh - double win.

The two girls who ran front of house were kind and had a great hustle under them. They took care of me as a pick up order and was keeping the flow of the dining room going.

If you are willing to wait 40 plus minutes for okay food and terrible service, then this is your place. We stepped into this hidden place that we happen to see on the drive by. It smelled great and the menu is pretty extensive. After placing our order the server disappeared and was never seen again for ages. We were momentarily distracted by the tv of food being cooked in food carts, but after about 45 min our food finally came out. In between we couldn’t even find anyone to ask where our food is. Also if you order a soda their ice cubes have a flowery taste to it so your drink tastes like flowers. Not a great taste with soda.
The pad Thai was way too salty and the flavor was tart for some reason. The white fish was fine though.
When finished we had to wait for another twenty min to flag anyone down for a check.
There was only a few couples in there, the food should not take that long to make when you only have a few orders. Fix your service as well!

Horrible service! Owners do not know time management and does not understand the meaning of customer service. They told me an order would take 20 minutes I ended up waiting more than hour with hungry crying children in the car. When I asked for compensation I heard the owner yelling loudly from the back of the kitchen. “If he didn’t want to wait he should’ve ordered from this restaurant”. Never again. 👎

I found this new place in Sun City and was in the mood for papaya salad, I ordered ahead and asked if the salad would feed 2 people the person on the phone said it would. I went ahead and ordered and asked for medium heat for extra kick but got nothing for spice? The big chunk of cabbage really confused me what was I supposed to do with it? For 12.99 I will not order again. Papaya salads that I have had in the past have had a little more fish sauce spice disappointed.

The food was fairly tasty yes, but scant. (Considering the prices) their prices on the menu did not reflect the cost on the receipt, (not the taxes) Isked for a refill on the iced tea , the guy tells me “no” ( I had to figure out that he was trying to tell me it would not be free refills 😉idk) but he asks my wife if she’d like a refill on her Coke which was tasteless, so this was my experience there at “Melody Thai”

Let me start by saying that I really want this place to survive because Menifee needs a good Thai food restaurant. My husband and I went in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. It was not busy but there was a decent lunch crowd. Restaurant is super cute with a little bar area to hang out. Our server greeted us right away and we were seated near a window.

Upon ordering our drinks, we realized that there were no fountain drinks, only canned soda and various teas. Our server told us that there were no refills on soda, tea, or water but she thinks they do refills on beer. Okay.... We ask her to clarify this so she retreats to the kitchen then comes back and says they don't offer free refills at all. Either they're expecting patrons to pay for refills or this server needs to be trained on refill protocol!

We both ordered drunken noodles. We were NOT asked how spicy we would like our dish. This should be a standard question regarding certain Thai dishes. I ordered a medium, my husband ordered his high. It didn't matter anyway because both dishes had zero heat to them. My husband told me that his beef had no flavor. My dish was pretty tasty and the little egg roll and cucumber salad was yummy. I would have preferred some spice to mine though.

Our server didn't check on us after she dropped the food off but she did drop the check off in the middle of our meal without asking if she could get us anything else (dessert, another drink...). We were not even remotely done with our meal when the check was delivered. She also forgot about us because I had to walk to the front to pay! Our server was very nice but that doesn't make up for a lack of training to answer basic questions and provide a pleasant dining experience.

Due to my food being tasty and for my love for Thai food, I may order takeout but I'm apprehensive about dining in again. Also, get some paper menus for your senior citizens. Most don't know what a QR code is.

Been waiting since Aug 2021 when it was first announced this place was coming. It didn't disappoint, everything was spot on. Would like a little more spice and I'm sure they will accommodate

Omg wow the food is fantastic! I have been to many Thai restaurants and you can really taste that the food is freshly made. Please please please Melody Thai don’t ever short cut your food, keep it as is! People say the service is slow, but it makes sense since it’s freshly made. I’d rather wait a little longer for fresh food than faster service with pre-cooked microwave food! Yummy yummy yummy!

Ate there about a week ago the food was fantastic ,we ordered family style so we had a variation of the thai noodles ,spicy basil red curry and the spicy green beans along with Tom Young soup , going back tonight so far the best Thai food in the a

First time here, I believe they recently opened and wanted to try it out, I ordered the spicy basil seafood combination. The dish was fantastic and great flavor, everything was cooked to perfection, if you're traveling on the 215 south bound and you need your taste buds to explode give this place a stop, you will not regret it.

Lunch was delicious I ordered a chicken curry.. Flavorful and just the right of Medium spice.. I'll see you soon again for another dish..
