Ordering the Chicken Pad Thai, Panang Curry and Tom Kha soup to get a reading on this restaurant, I was amazed that an establishment that has just four tables, occupying a tiny space in a busy central gathering point in Simi Valley did not have people waiting to sit and enjoy these delicious menu items. Seriously, I am the lucky one for having discovered this place and felt compelled to keep this secret to myself. But, I cannot do that. So, allow me to share my assessment: yummy, spicy, filling and modestly priced food that will satisfy on every level!

Good food, but we asked for MILD on everything and got it very spicy. Spent $80 on food and didn't get what we asked for.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in SImi Valley. Owner is very sweet. Chicken Pad Thai is our favorite. Also, they do gluten free fried rice upon request. Our daughter has Celiac and she can eat their food and not get sick.

First time there, ordered takeout pad thai which was very good. Also ordered the orange chicken, which was the worst I’ve ever had, hard dry and awful tasting grainy chicken. Thew it out, not edible.

Walked in placed order to go. Was told 20 minutes and sat down. Reviewed some emails and was approached again to confirm I was helped. 7 minutes later was called up to front that food was ready. Small space but good eats. Pleasant surprise!

Thai iced tea is served in the tallest glass I've seen anywhere. The owners are super cool too... definitely try out if you are in Simi valley!

Simi valley gem. Food here is so good. Definitely authentic thai flavors. The dishes are big portions, but price is so affordable.

Not a fan of this place. For the amount of time we waited for our food, you would think it would be great. The tom yum soup was super sweet and lukewarm, the pad see ew was mushy, the eggrolls tasted like they were made earlier and just reheated and not even entirely. I am so disappointed. I tried it for the first time like a year ago and it was a lot better from what I remember. Maybe different cooks or just an off day?

This place has great customer service! Delicious Thai food. During the pandemic they have been a great order to-go for our household. It's just difficult to find.... It's behind the McDonald's way in the back of the parking lot. They take cash and credit/debit cards. No tap pay though

I came here with my family about a year ago. It is the LAST TIME we will ever come here. We ordered food mind you my parents at the time had a cough so they drank water with no ice. They also ordered two large Thai iced teas with boba which on the menu said $5 for a large. My parents decided to get their Thai tea without ice because they were sick. We ate and the bill came. The lady there had charged us $9 for EACH drink. We asked her why the price if on the menu it said $5, she gave us so much attitude and proceeded by getting the menu and told us to point where we saw it. We went to the menu pointed at the $5 and she raised her voice at us it was a typo and that’s not the price. We told her it’s right there and then she said it’s because both drinks had no ice. We explained to her that it was just my parents‘ drink and she kept saying we just wanted more tea that’s why we said no ice. It was like talking to a wall, she DIDN’T apologize for the mistake that was on the menu and proceeded by accusing us of trying get more of the tea. We told her that she should have told us that when my parents said no ice for their drink. She got tired of listening to us and just walked away. We paid and left a tip but I will NEVER come back here!

Each time we have ordered from here, my family and I really love it. We've ordered three different curries and each one is delicious in its own way. The orange chicken is tasty and the pieces are large, they are almost meatball sized. We have put this in our every other week rotation for places to order from.

I live in Morro Bay California. Came down from my brother-in-law's services. My favorite food in the world is Thai food! Hands down the best Thai food I ever had! Except for at some lady's kitchen in Hawaii. The service was exceptional the food was enormous! And quality a hundred star! I highly recommend it! Wish I could bring this place back to Morro Bay with me. or at least San Luis Obispo county as we don't have anything that touches the quality of this food as far as Thai food goes.

We enjoyed our food. We got pineapple fried rice and a pad dish I don't remember the name of. The place was clean and the people were nice. Several tables had customers and others came in for take out, so it looks like they have regulars. That's a good sign to me.

Our usual place was closed to so we decided to here and we were not disappointed! We ordered several dishes and they were all very good! I think my favorite was the yellow curry. I'm used to my curry already coming with some rice but here you have to order it separately. The staff was super friendly! Will definitely be back!

Nice little dine in space with delicious food. The staff is also very attentive and courteous. I have looked all over Simi for a Chicken Fried Rice like the one I enjoyed in Saugus and finally have found it and then some. This will be our only go to when we want Thai food. It took everything I had to leave a little for my lunch tomorrow and it may still not make it past tonight...lol.

Of the places in the area this is I've of the best. The food is very flavorful. Curry is just the right consistency not to think but not watery. They ask aren't afraid to kick the spice level up. I enjoy the Pad Kee mao, larb, yellow and red curries, fresh roles and fried rice. They are closed on Monday.

Good Thai food

Having lived around the country and all over Los Angeles, Simi Thai Cuisine is by far the finest Thai food we’ve had. Amazing food, amazing family, amazing service; what a find in Simi Valley.

Called around 3pm on Saturday to try them out for the 1st time. Lots of mixed reviews so I didn't have the highest confidence going in.

They offer FREE delivery if your order is at least $15 but I still chose to Carry Out so I can check out the place. The gal who took my order spoke English rather well but I still needed to repeat myself several times for each dish. If you're not a patient person, you better stick to the number system (see the menu). I was patient with her and I'm surprised she didn't call me "honey" as others have indicated. Maybe I wasn't so sweet to her. But trust me, I was nice.

She said to come over in 10 min and boom I showed up. The place is located in the very back right corner of a shopping center. Drove in a couple circles but finally found it. The place is small and probably fits around 6 tables. Only one table had a couple waiting to be served. It was very clear most of their biz is done over the phone.

They offer 3 spicy levels so we went with medium. It was just right! Cooked just the way we love our Thai food. The won ton soup was delicious too. Perfect for a cold day!

I really enjoyed the Spicy Fried Rice with shrimp. I counted about 8 large shrimp in there. Very tasty.

The Thai ice tea was very good too.
The only drawback was the tofu - didn't taste good.

To save $, try their lunch specials which are served everyday from 11am to 3pm. Next time I'm willing to try their FREE delivery!

Food quality makes up for a very busy and basic restaurant. Very popular for takeout. Very basic tables and not so great location. Long wait, service was ok, they were very busy, same as last, very worth the wait. The Pad Thai was amazing. Had a smokey flavor. Also loved the Panang chicken. Very tender and right amount of spice for me. 32 oz Thai iced tea was half ice but was free for me.

Well, without going off the deep end and sounding like a friend posting for this place, let me say that I have tried Thai places all over LA County and Ventura County and this tiny little joint makes some mighty fine dishes. The food is fresh and the prices are most fair. If you like good traditional Thai. this place should make you happy.

I've been going to Simi Thai Cuisine for about 5 years now. Seeing the old owner leave and the torched passed on to Tony and Amy. I see the difference in quality. Tony has two chefs in the back that definitely know what they are doing. Ram is the cousin of Tony and is a professional chef back in Thailand. Nick is a fantastic cook as well as a great protégé to Ram. Amy the co-owner is little known to have a culinary background. She is a fantastic hostess and really cares about what is needed. Tony, Nick,Amy, and Ram definitely care about what is said about their dishes and service. Fresh vegetables and meat selection makes each dish a quality served with flavor is definitely the defining building block for this hole in the wall restaurant.

Tasty food, prepared with love. We went here for the first time last night and emerged with a number one spot for Thai food. The funny thing is that we almost did not go in because it was so bright, small, and empty. Wow, would that have been a mistake! We were greeted and served by the owner who is an absolute gem. It its like eating in a family home. We ordered green curry, pineapple curry, and ginger chicken - all were delicious and perfect examples of authentic Thai cooking. The experience was wonderful and we will be going back there at any time a craving for Thai food arises.
