We offer authentic and delicious Bangkok street food in downtown Eustis. Savory Thai curries, delicious noodles and fried rice and our unique chef specials will transport you and your taste buds to Bangkok.
Excellent food and service. Everything was perfect. The Tom Ka soup was extremely well balanced, the Crab Rangoon was perfectly portioned and delicious, the Volcano Chicken was crispy and super flavorful, and the Pad Thai is more than what I would hope for from a good Thai restaurant. The portions were generous and the wait was well worth the flavor and quality of food. The only criticism I could give is possibly adding some background music or something for a little ambiance. Regardless, I strongly recommend Aloy Dee to anyone on the fence. If you hear it's a 30-45 minute wait for food, grab a seat and ask for a Singha.
The food here is very good. That is, if you don't mind paying a high price for it.
It is quite high compared to the other place we usually go, which is also higher than we would like but not prohibitively high like this place.
The food is very good. I only wish we could afford to eat there.
I love this place! You have to call and check if they are open before you go because it is family owned and run, and sometimes life happens, which we all know. The first thing the owner does upon your arrival is alert you about the wait, they take to go orders all the time and it is first come first serve. We don’t mind the wait because the food is that good. Our longest wait there was 45 minutes and we were warned and ok with waiting. Our food is always steamy hot and the serving size is enough for seconds! My favorite dish is Thai fried rice with chicken. I’ve had drunken noodles, Tom Yum soup, Tom Kha soup, volcano chicken, teriyaki chicken, pho, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, pad Thai, yellow curry, mango sticky rice, and so many delicious dishes. I recommend this place and I take my family there when they come and visit.
Absolutely loved this tiny Thai restaurant tucked away in Eustis, Florida. You have to wait a little bit for the food, but it's worth it. You can tell a lot of love and time and skill goes into every dish. We sampled quite a few things off the menu (wontons, curries, drunken noodles, mango rice) and enjoyed it all. You can't go wrong!
I am Thai and I approve!!! I normally don't order or go to Thai restaurants as I cook all kinds of foods at home. I was feeling a little under the weather and needed something to clear open up my sinus. Definitely 5 stars on service and taste. Eventhou I only had their papaya salad...but that's all I needed. even without Thai chili it came out deliciously authentic still...but the service. The man on the phone called back and said his wife wanted to make sure she makes it the way I'd like.. and she definitely did!!! thank you!! can't wait to try other dishes!!!
I love this place! They have the largest vegan /plant base menu in the area. And you can get food as hot as you want!...everyone else is scared to heat my food to my liking. Love this place..food is excellent!! The green curry is the best I have ever had and I speak Thai...they have the personal touch. Everything fresh, one person works the kitchen and cost will be higher. So three yourself. Be patient and enjoy.
This is THE BEST thai food I've ever eaten. Every dish was flavorful, satisfying, and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll be thinking about this experience for a long time and can't wait to visit again!

Hungry eat here, then eat here to celebrate having eaten here Do you perhaps need to impress someone? Go here, and at the very least add eat here to your bucket list.
Authentic, delicious Thai food owned and operated by the sweetest family. Everything is always fresh. This is our favorite restaurant.

I love their food! Everything is delicious. It’s family owned and cooked to order. Not fast food but excellent food.
I've been meaning to try this place for a while and while I wanted to do it in person, tonight I tried it for the first time through DoorDash.
I ordered Pad Thai with tofu and Tod-mun. Got the Pad Thai mild.
Both arrived promptly, and wow it's delicious. I will warn everyone If you can't choose the heat level it's probably going to be hot! Lol. The Tod-mun has a kick!
Regardless I found both of them delicious, especially considering delivery is not the best way to experience a restaurant.
I will definitely give them a try in-house soon. Very much enjoying my meal.
So it looks like an old folks bingo place. It looked like they had AC issues I decided to eat in my car due to the amount of yelling. What I ordered seemed overpriced. The crab ragoon are these tiny little bags. The dumplings are super tiny, and the summer roll was about 2 bites. The peanut sause weird it's tangy and hot. The thai tea was super sugary.
Love the good! It’s vegan friendly 🫶
My first experience eating Tai food 🍜
Some of the best tasting Thai food I've had in a long time. I ordered take out, but everything was perfect. The location is "in the cut" as they say. I'll be back!
After proving to the establishment via email I had hair in my food, they refused to give me a refund bc I didn’t “bring the food back” to them. I did pick up and drove over twenty minutes to give them my business. I was not able to, nor would I think it appropriate, that this place ask me to then drive ALLLL the way back to return the food, when I very clearly and timely (same day) showed proof of hair. Awful service, dirty food. Never returning.
The service and the food was excellent. Every time I've been it's delicious.
We have loved this place for years. Their food is so flavorful and includes fresh vegetables.
What a nightmare what a psycho owner yelled at me and told me a party of six CANNOT come to his restaurant at 7pm pm a Friday night BECAUSE it will be an hour wait and we close dining room at 7:30pm. He is INSANE. Zero stars! Don't waste your time they ARE not open until 9pm!
Amazing food! Pad Thai and their wonton soup is frickin fire 🔥🔥🔥

got takeout here and waited only like 15 minutes for 2 entrees. It was a good amount of food, got pad Thai and pad kee something that used drunken noodles, and the people were super nice. super good, me and my mom took the food home and did movie night :) leftovers lasted us a couple days.
Aloy dee Thai was absolutely delicious! Run by just a husband & wife team. You could really taste the love, quality, & care put into the food. They had so many vegan & gluten free options & were super accommodating to my sons nut allergy. We asked & they were even able to use coconut milk to make our thai tea dairy free for us. I got the vegan drunken noodles with the handmade wide rice noodles; so good!! & my husband got the pineapple fried rice with the mixed meats & loved his as well. Highly recommend it all👌🏽😋

It was so good a week ago that we are doing it again, but with friends!
It was lunch, the food was served hot, tasty, at a reasonable time by a pleasant server. I will surely eat there again when I am in the area.
I went today and LOVED the food, I love family atmosphere. Compliments to the CHEF ❤️
CLOSED!
Food was delicious, hot and fresh. This will be my go to for Thai food. I can't say enough how good the food is. ❤
Food poisoning, was purging and surging from both ends from 9pm till 3pm the next day, nope, still have diarrhea, suspect it was either the dumplings or the chicken satay, eat at your own risk.
Came from two hours away and decided to try this spot out because the reviews on here seemed good enough. Got there and they were only doing take out at the time. No big deal. I ask about the sizes of the dishes and specifically asked how big they were (doing hand gestures to gauge on size) and owner in the front said that I wouldn’t have to worry, that they were a good size (for both the main meal I got and desert).
Not sure if the sizing is different from sitting down but the portion size for the price was an absolute ripoff. I don’t understand how you are going to charge 30 dollars for one piece of duck that I could fit in my hand and then throw “curry” on it. It was basically a duck with sauce. Questioning if it was even duck now. It was normal takeout boxes. Black bottoms and plastic clear lid with the small and medium sized foam boxes that close/open clam style.
On top of that, I get the food I ordered and had to go back in because no napkins or plasticware were provided to eat the food with. I was never even asked if I needed any. It should be a given that with takeout you put it in the bag. There is much more to this but you can look at the previous review. Food is okay. Portion size for price, absolute dog water. Service, below par. Time it took for “making” the food vs the size of the food, below par. Would not recommend unless you feel like setting money on fire and being charged for everything little thing like the air in the room.
EDIT post owner response:
It is a blatant lie that we got silverware. I had to turn around and ask you before leaving and it took longer than 20 minutes. Can provide screenshots of when I said I was arriving to the store to order vs when I left from a friend because I came from two hours away.
Secondly, outside of everything, reading prior responses of yours from customers who gave prior reviews, you clearly do not like criticism and decide to point the finger back at the customer and instantly say they are the problem. No apologizes, no “next time we will try to do better”, not a simple response to show that there is some sort of concern on doing right the next time. In some cases you attack people’s character which is very “professional” of you if I might add. You never say anything to see where you went wrong. So you just believe you are the perfect one which is a problem on its own and will eventually come back to you. Acknowledgment of knowing that yes, there are people out there who simply talk bad about places just because, is true. I can recognize that. Likewise, you should also have acknowledgment that your approach may not always be appropriate. There is ALWAYS room to improve. Assuming you are at your best is a recipe for failure. And again, it’s clear this is not the first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc time people had complaints SPECIFICALLY about your approach to service. That should be a sign for something. That or you might be bi polar and we happen to catch you in those days 🤷🏽♂️. Do better. Came in very excited and left with disappointment. You can keep your local businesses. I hope they can sustain you for years to come. But keep at it, things may change.
And just to make a point. Clearly I could afford to eat at your place. It’s why I spent more than 30 dollars for a “large” order and got other things as well. Acting like you are Texas d’brazil or Bones fish grill. I’ll afford another two hour trip somewhere else that doesn’t waste my time, insult me and gives me monies worth for either quality and taste of food, portion size of a “large” or a combination of both. If you can’t afford actual large takeout plastic bins or make a large meal, please do yourself a favor and don’t advertise it. Can’t even imagine what the small or medium looks like. I’d wager they are the same sizes.
Delicious rangoon, Tom Ka Soup is quite hearty, the Kao Neaw Puak was very tasty, and the dipping sauces in the side were great!
I will start by saying we drove two hours to try this place out, and then waited patiently for an hour for our food.
When it came we realized it was insanely overpriced. I payed $96 + $10 tip for 3 dishes and $30 of that was for a “large” Curry and when I received it, it was the size of a childrens cereal bowl and had literally no more than a few spoon fulls of “curry.” I would love to see what their small looks like.
It was essentially a small duck that was basted in curry. Not to mention it was overcooked and was basically a quarter cartilage and fat. Letting that slide, and chalking the size up to a struggling business, when I brought the fact up to the owner that I had no curry in my curry, he has the audacity to say that he would have to charge me for more curry. 💀
How are you going to tell a customer who just paid $30 for a tiny bowl of curry that you would need more money FOR THE ACTUAL CURRY. Are you insane?
Don’t even get me started on the atrocity that is the “sticky rice and mango.” It was watery and runny and made of a solid block of obviously packaged frozen sticky rice and unripened mango. Topped with watery flavorless “coconut milk.”
Sticky rice and mango is normally covered in a creamy coconut milk sauce, this one was essentially splashed with coconut water.
The Owner was extremely unprofessional and the food is incredibly overpriced as it is the most expensive Thai food I have had in Florida, and yet nowhere near even top 10 in Thai places in Central Florida when it comes to taste and last for service.
Save yourself some money and go elsewhere.
Note: You can see by the owners response to my review on google that he is immature and takes zero accountability. He resorts to name calling and insults which proves his inability to handle criticism or take accountability for his actions.
Keep running your business like this and you will surely fail, as you deserve.
The food was fresh and tasty, the service was awesome and the place was spotless. I would highly recommend Aloy Dee Thai Cuisine.
It was worth a trip to pick up some fresh hand-made Thai food. Amazing!
Real Thai food! If you love Thai food, this is the place to go. There may be a wait, but the food is definitely worth the wait. Prices are good, especially for homemade Thai food. The owners are awesome!
Easily some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere, we've been eating here at least once or twice a month for nearly 4 years now. Never disappoints! Her Curry is just perfection!
Best Thai food I've ever had. Small, family owned place. Very friendly and courteous service. Quiet and comfortable environment. If they bottled their peanut sauce, I'd buy a gallon. Highly recommend!!
Best Thai place around
Visited their last evening with my wife. It was a great experience ,tasty food and great service! Vegan summer rolls are absolutely the best! We will be back soon!
Great food. Family operated and sometimes there is a wait even when doesn’t appear busy but made to order and well worth the wait time!
Best Thai food I've found outside of Thailand
Wow! First of all, we are Asheville foodies always searching for a great restaurant when traveling. 95 percent of the time we are disappointed. We are so happy to have discovered the best Thai food we have ever experienced. Aloy Dee is an absolute gastronomical adventure, an abundance of flavor! Our server was very attentive and polite. One in our party likes mild and one hotter. The spice was just right. The Panang Curry and Pad Kee Mad are highly recommended.
OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! THIS WAS THE BEST RESTAURANT FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!!! EVER!!!!
Need I say more?
Stop reading this and JUST GO!
If you cannot handle negative criticism, you should not be in the restaurant industry. This is awful, especially speaking to people who give you money, the whole reason you’re even in business. Take negative criticism as advice. I will not be eating here after seeing how the OWNER treats their paying customers. So unprofessional! Please look at other restaurant responses to customers reviews as examples of how to appropriately respond. e.g: Thank customers for stopping by, apologize for the inconvenience. Speaking to customers disrespectfully, calling customers “Karen” is steering new possible customers away. Learn to respect others and apologize for being in the wrong, and you won’t be dangering your business into failure. I will be taking my money elsewhere.
Nice calm music. Delicious food. Even the water tastes good. You can specify your spicy level and protein. Try the coconut rice ball dessert.
A hidden gem. Delicious Thai food in Eustis! We tried this restaurant for the first time today and everyone was very happy with the meal and experience. We enjoyed the Pad Thai and Massaman Curry. Starters were all delicious—avocado rolls, Thai veggie spring rolls and crab Rangoon. They get very busy—order early or arrive early to eat in. It will be worth it!!
Always the BESTEST food! Heartfelt smiles genuinely given during your meal.
Chef "Mamma" is exquisitely talented and always delivers medicine for the soul! I wish I could eat her "gifts" for every meal!
As always: the Tom Kha is HEAVEN!
Love, love, love this establishment and the whole family!
Food is always great, and very nice to have good Thai food, conveniently located!
Comida mala el establecimiento apesta . El dueño es arrogante no trata bien a los clientes
Aqueel and his wife are amazing! This is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to in Florida and it was all vegan! It was so good we came twice in one day! Yum! 😋😋😋 Thanks to my friend Arwen for the recommendation! 😘😘😘
I just ordered the Red Curry double Thai hot. It was one of the most flavorful amazing dishes I've eaten anywhere in a long time. I'll be back to try their Yellow Curry
Food was delicious. Very good service. Can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend trying it
The place is a family owned business very nice place
Let’s see… I rarely ever offer a review. To begin.. a restaurant (barely visible from lack of lighting and undisplayed signage from the main road and easily missed) ran by two people ONLY.?? Wife is the cook and husband takes orders. I called early ahead and was told the wait for dining in was 45 mins. Ok. I arrived an hour later @ 6:40pm to be told the wait to dine and place order to would still be another 30 mins however, dine in ordering won’t be taken after 7:30pm yet the restaurant is open till 9pm.. then told that if my opportunity to finally place order is nearing the 7:30pm mark, I would have to order to go and my order would then be placed behind all other phone orders thereafter.
There were 2 tables used by 2 customers each. 6 tables unused. 331 reviews, mostly positive yet witnessing first hand the lack of staff and ambiance, the unprofessional attitude of the husband & the two sets of guests who looked unpleasant. I was waived off by one set of guests. As I left and headed to my vehicle, one set of guests leaving told me that the overall wait and lack of quality of service wasn’t worth it and they wouldn’t return.
According to the husband.. my order for dining would take 30 mins because he had 1 guest waiting to place order and 2 phone orders to prepare. Why have a restaurant for dining in if proper accommodations can’t be offered for regular dining? Why not staff more people? Owners need a course in proper business management. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great food, great service! We had pad thai, cashew chicken and volcano chicken. The kids loves the volcano chicken and the chicken satay appetizer. Service was fast and they were very attentive!
What amazing food awaits when you visit Aloy Dee. Went for lunch with my son. Went back the next day for dinner with the whole family. It was excellent each time. Many Gluten free options. Try every thing. Even the ginger salad dressing is the best. The Mango Sticky rice is the perfect way to end your meal.
Update: we have been back many time and each time we eat there we have a new favorite meal. Such great food.
This place is such a gem! We get takeout here all the time. The food is always excellent, service is great, prices are reasonable. Must try this place!
Family lowned ... perfect for families. And the food ... oh my goodness the food is amazing. And what's supercool for me is she makes her own rice noodles so I can have the noodles (I'm gluten intolerant). There's very few things on the menu I can't have! Great great place.
The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meals! We stopped in while in the area to grab an early diner . The food was very good and fresh made to order . Most of the business is take-out, so the seating is limited. I agree with a previous review the atmosphere if you are dining in needs, to be updated. Having said that because the service was over the top we could overlook that issue. All in all I would definitely go back .
Always delicious!!!
The BEST Thai food I have ever had!! We always get the panang curry, pad Thai, Thai fried rice and chicken satay. It’s all so good! Portions are huge and the staff are so nice. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
their hours of operation are not accurate and the man said he doesn't care to change them. also he gave us a pretty disrespectful remark for mentioning it. I wouldn't trust this guy to handle my food.
First time visit. Food came out quickly. We ate family style. Large portions we took home leftovers.
Excellent food and service highly recommend
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The food very clean and fresh. The owner and is wife is very friendly. The price is very reasonable. We spend $75 for three person. Plus there was a lot of food.
Hands down our new favorite. Why?
1. Very kind family owned.
2. Open late after getting off work late.
3. Phenomenal taste and beautiful dish.
Bravo you to the owners! It is a treasure to have you here in Eustis. Sad I didn’t take a pic of your beautiful dish to post here😂. Also sad we haven’t found you sooner.
I requested a random Thai dish I ate years ago to the owner as a first time customer. His wife absolutely NAILED IT. Stoked with our last minute decision to get something “new” in the area.
Best place i ever been in Central Florida area!!! and believe me since i dont cook i have been in may places around! You pay for the excellency of their food
Legit the BEST most authentic thai food in the area and surrounding. This is definitely going to be our new go-to place. We had the 2 different curries (both were exceptional), the spring rolls (what an experience, the dipping sauce- wow 👌) and the service was personable, quick, and very attentative to every detail. We would/will be recommending this place. 👍👍
This is an authentic family owned restaurant. The food NEVER DISAPPOINTS. They’ve seen a lot of business recently so the wait times may be higher than before but that’s just a testament to how popular they are. It’s TRULY WORTH IT. It always hits the spot. The husband and wife who own it and cook are incredibly sweet and kind. If you’re ever in Eustis, make it a priority to check them out!
I ate here the other night, and I don't see how there are all these high stars. The atmosphere was dismal, about 6 or so tables in a very large front room. The place was being cooled off by a small air conditioner, so it was fairly warm. But notable signs posted throughout the room state, "You must pay for your order, even if you don't eat our food", so it stands to reason that other patrons have complained, refused to pay for some reason and this business seems to find it necessary to forwarn their clientele. Our waiter's service was just standard and was not tippable. If I were to get a little nicety during service, I give a tip to that server. Reading reviews, I am extremely shocked at the owner's response to low-star complaints -- talk about "entitlement"! The pad see yoo was weird. It tasted like an old, room-temperature egg had been used in my dish and gave me pause. Also it had a slight taste of singed or burnt sugar coming from the sauce in the dish. I am pretty sure I won't go back to this place. Too many other remarkable places to patronize.
So, this is my third time trying to eat here. There is always something. I am a local person trying to contribute to local businesses. Apparently, this place doesn't care. No problem, you can have good food, but the way you treat people matters a lot too. Anyways that was my last time.
Very friendly service. Somewhat pricey, but worth it. Large portions. Authentic Thai cuisine.
WOW! Where on Earth do I start? Nothing comes to mind other than this is thee best restaurant hands down in Lake County for Thai/Hindi food! My new favorite restaurant and closer by than all of the others! My family and I enjoyed a variety of food here. And there's SO MANY DELICIOUS VEGAN OPTIONS! Great family owned and local business. We will be returning to for surely enjoy other items that we couldn't taste this time!
Aloy Dee Thai Cuisine is like home. Aqueel and Pathiya welcome us like family every time we come into their restaurant. Pathiya makes all dishes from scratch daily, and we have never been disappointed. Her talents for sauces and flavors are more sophisticated and delightful than anyone’s we’ve met. Her curries are savory and delicious, her entrees explode with flavor, and every appetizer and dessert is the perfect start and finish for the most wonderful meal. My wife and I enjoy, not only our meals, but our overall experiences at each visit to Aloy Dee Thai Cuisine, and we will remain loyal and satisfied customers. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing, the best Thai food I've had in probably about 20 years. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, service was on point, definitely worth a visit. Would have added pictures but the food was too good to think about taking pictures
Sooooo good.
Very pleased with all the vegan options!
Best authentic food outside of Thailand.
This place is family owned and they are great people! I absolutely recommend everyone give them a try if you’re interested in Thai. They are one of my top places to order Thai food in this area.
Had a friend give me a sample of his food and loved it! The next day we got the yellow curry, chicken satay and Tom yum soup. Very good and well priced compared to other Thai places in the area. Had it last night and want to get it again this week it was that good! Friendly people working there too. Food was hot and fresh. Don’t hesitate!
This place is such a hidden gem. We were skeptical when we first walked in, but after a few Diet Coke, our dinner was served. We order Chicken satay, Tom ka as appetizers, red curry and green curry as entrees, mango and sticky rice for dessert, they were exquisite. Perfect for a weeknight
We eat here about twice a month. Everything we have tried has been excellent. The drunken noodles, dumplings, beef Pho and spring rolls are particularly delicious. The husband runs the front of house by himself and the wife cooks, and wow is she an incredible cook. They make a great team. One thing to be aware of is due to high volume, at dinner time they are carry out only. The food is well worth the wait. Today I was even given a complimentary Thai tea because my food took slightly longer than expected and it was delicious. I will be adding the tea to my next order. Thank you Aloy Dee Thai!
Very friendly family owned business. I always look forward to meals from here. Very accommodating to vegan diets!
Hands down the most delicious Thai food in Florida, maybe in the whole world!!! Family owned and great people. The husband works the front and the wife cooks the delicious food all the food by herself! She even hand makes the noodles!!! I haven’t tried anything I didn’t love. The best part is that they can make anything on the menu vegan 🌱👏🏼 Delicious and cruelty-free Thai food! I would come here everyday if I could!
Highly recommend the coconut soup. I get it every time I come here!
Great people great service extraordinary food
It was the person taking the orders who was extremely rude. Did not want us there. We asked politely how long it would take. He shouted back at us saying that they had only one cook who had slipped and fell. We also asked him to cut off the sweet sauce in the noodles for which he said he would not do that as the food was made only once and the sauce was already added to it. Will not go here again.
This place is phenomenal. Two orders, Drunken noodle with beef, pad thai with shrimp, both of us ordered as "thai spice". This place brings not only the flavor but also the spice. Highly highly recommend.
Pros: food was very good, service was excellent.
Cons: place is sparse and needs updating, no patrons at lunch.
Some days they don't offer inside dining. Certain days are carry out only so check ahead of time.
If you want a protein meat type option, consider the double portion option as there wasn't much meat in our meal.
I ordered my meal with the mild spice option and I could not discern any heat to it so it is not too spicy for people who can't handle it. Husband ordered his medium and he said it was just right.
First time visiting here and it was excellent! Good customer service, good food fast, we’re very happy!!
Great food and service with a small town community atmosphere. First experience will definitely return.
Definitely a cut above the usual Thai cuisine. The facility is VERY clean. The owner is friendly and accommodating to any specific requests, always gets the order correct - food is very fresh and is cooked and seasoned to perfection! We have ordered several times and have always been very satisfied.
Heard how good this resturant is thought we’d try it. Came on Saturday around noon. Only one other couple there owner wanted us to sit at the table right next to them. Didn’t feel comfortable doing that since there were so many tables available. Owner got belligerent. We tried to move to the table he wanted us to sit but he wouldn’t let it go, kept making remarks that rude I just said “you are the one who won’t drop it”, told me I came in with an attitude. We left. This guy is strange and probably needs to be on medication. Be ware, go at your on risk.
This is a very interesting family operated thai restaurant. It is truely Made from scratch and scrumptious. Mom cooks, dad runs the front and two children are helpers. Atmosphere is dreary and needs cleaning and decorating. I try to experience restaurants in person but I would say that this might be better as solely a take away shop.
Wow, had the snapper. 1st time was VERY hot for me (very good regardless). 2nd time asked for it to be made mild. Wife had the Pad Thai. We had to go back a second time to make sure it really was that good. It was/is that good. Can't wait to come back to the area so we can come again. They give you a time it will be ready when you order, and both times it was within minutes of the given time. We drove @ 30 minutes to get there, well worth the trip. Looks like most of their business is for take out, but is okay. Even reheated the meals are delicious!
This place is amazing! Me and my husband eat here at least twice a week. The food is always amazing to the point I’m comfortable switching up my meals every now and then which I never do for most restaurant, literally every meal is full of great flavors. My husband is a PICKY eater and he absolutely loves this place. It’s family owned and owners are great people. The prices can be high but you get what you pay for and it’s never disappointing. We love supporting this restaurant. I highly recommend!!
Food is delicious 😋. One of our top five Thai restaurants across the US. We went for lunch and found out they don't have dinner service (too swamped with take-out orders); not certain if this is everyday. Not surprising, as the dishes are awesome. Highly recommend.
Homestyle Thai food from a small family owned business. Great experience all around. Will be back!
The food was superb
Amazing food, and the family that runs this restaurant are the most amazing people. I could eat here everyday.
Delicious Summer And Spring rolls.
Pad Thai was overcooked & heavy. Heavy style sauce would be better if it were a lighter style sauce, with More peanut sauce taste..much more peanut sauce taste needed.
Shrimp was WAY Overcooked. Too Overcooked. Killed the shrimp taste by overcooking them
Arrived at noon and he told us it would be dinner prices, probably because there were 6 of us. Then he said the menu prices were old and everything would be more. Meals went from $11 to $20. Started yelling at us calling us cheap when we didn't order and got up to leave. Total dump, the entire place is filthy and so was he, will be closed soon. BTW they are not even Thai.
Very good food amazing people. I love the owners. All the food is fresh and we always need a box when we leave.
Fantastic food! The Volcano chicken is awesome as well as the Chicken Terriyaki!!! Family owned! Great service!!!
Amazing Thai restaurant! The family that owns it is amazing, and very kind. I always get the Pad Woo Sen and Thai Tea and it’s delicious every time. My husband gets the Chicken Fried Rice and he says it’s his favorite rice he’s had. We usually eat here at least once a month because it’s so good. Definitely a must try in the Lake county area.
Excellent authentic taste.
As a long time Thai-food lover I can say that my lunch here today was on point and well worth the bit of extra time the chef needed in the kitchen. Flavorful, spicy, balanced green curry and an aromatic, rich-broth Thai noodle soup. Going back the day after tomorrow. Highly recommended!
This place is phenomenal. Amazing customer service, food is outstanding, the restaurant is extremely clean. Definitely my new favorite place to eat!
This was mine and my fiancés first time at Aloy Dee Thai. We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and seated promptly. I'm guessing it was the owner who was taking care of us, (I forgot to get his name) but he went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed.
The restaurant is very clean and spacious inside. The presentation of the food is beautifully put together. The flavors of the food is just out of this world delicious!
We were started off with a salad, and let me tell you... The salad dressing was so good, that after I ate the salad, I drank the rest of the dressing. Delicious. Then we ordered 2 starters. The first was crab Rangoon, which comes with a sweet chili Thai sauce that's addicting. We also got the chicken basil rolls that have a peanut dipping sauce. Really bold seasonings and flavors!
Main entrée we went with the pineapple fried rice which has shrimp, beef, chicken, pineapple, cashews, peas, raisins, carrots, etc. and the portion size was huge! I liked the sweet chilli Thai sauce from the crab Rangoon so much that I added that in with my rice as well.
We also placed a to-go order to bring home with rest of our pineapple fried rice we had left.
I had asked about the sweet sticky rice with mango, and was so happy that it was available since it's a seasonal item. So, we brought that home as well. I can't wait to come here again and try new things. The menu has a lot of choices to pick from, and lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well!
If you're looking for a restaurant that has great food with amazing flavors, excellent customer service, and a friendly warm and inviting atmosphere, come to Aloy Dee Thai in Eustis! You'll love it 😍
A menu full of great things to explore
The chef truly has a gift! My wife and I come here as much as we can. Delicious food, friendly people what more can you ask for? Love all of the curries especially the duck if you saved room for dessert the mango sticky rice is life changing.
Absolutely the BEST curry. Lovely family owned restaurant. Highly recommend!
My go to for my Thai Food cravings! It’s so delicious!!!! A forever customer, it’s so good!
Amazing!
We felt good for days after eating there; food is delicious, nutritious and full of love. Definitely order; Ginger tea, Summer roll, Avocado roll, and Drunken noodles.
Noodles are made from scratch.
This place is a Gem!
The owner was very nice and the salad dressing was very good. I ordered Red Curry chicken Thai Hot.. very disappointing. It was so mild that even my hubby would have been able to eat it.
Very good food! I've ordered takeout twice here now. I've tried the yellow curry, vegetable spring rolls, and the coconut ball dessert. All were excellent!
Great food! Duck, Pineapple Fried Rice, Thai Spring Rolls. Much better than expected! We will be back.
I keep forgetting to take pics to post before I dig in to the food because its soooo good and is always super fresh so I am always ready to eat when I get it!!!! I stay coming back for more, the samosas and pad kee mad with tofu are my favorites. the house made rice noodles are second to none, they're so delicious. honestly if I could give this place 10 stars I would. Such a gem in this small town!! The folks who operate the place are nice too. Definitely try Aloy Dee Thai if you haven't yet.
Soooooo worth it!! They were a little short on staff tonight and some other factors the owner was saying which created a 45 minute wait. I was not upset at all there is a nice lake right down the road to kill some time. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and thai tea. Delicious!! Highly recommend!
Amazing family owned restaurant & the best Thai I’ve ever had. I got the pad se ew and the chicken basil spring rolls. Both were incredible! The noodles were homemade! The chicken basil rolls were some of the best food I’ve tasted. Highly recommend!
So freaking good!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go!
**Lengthy review but worth it**
First and foremost this is my first time here. I speculated on coming here due to the "location in Eustis" and with prior knowledge of the area I crossed my fingers. After looking at the reviews I was impressed, yet saw one review which threw me off from the guy and his gf who were complaining about cold food, fishy dark colored Pad Thai, and rude service.
I like these reviews and try to debunk them. Well, I came in 30 minutes after their opening, and the first person to greet us was the male owner. I looked around and there is signage which seems to be in response to critics. I honestly enjoyed the signs, because it tells me the owner is firm and believes in his business.
I put my drink orders (Thai tea) and appetizer orders in (dumplings and coconut soup), along with some small talk with the owner. Come to find out it's just his wife and him...... That's it... No staff, no waitresses, no bus boys, no one. 4 hands and the wife does all the cooking. I admire that, as he continued to open up about this generation of work ethic and demand for more money when they can't even do the basic. I come from hard workers and strict work ethic, so I could related to this lazy entitled generation.
His appetizers came out, and were delicious. Hot center, soft freshly made dumplings and the soup was very enjoyable. Next the main dishes came out. I ordered Pad Thai and my gf ordered Pad See Ew. I've traveled the world, and Thai is one of my favorite cuisines, I have tasted many varieties and every culture makes it slightly different.
They did not let me down. The Pad Thai was made perfectly. The noodles are hand made and not store bought. The wife spends hours upon hours each week after they close and on her days off to make fresh noodles for her dishes. The flavor was authentic, tender noodles and plenty of side items such as crushed peanuts, lemon slice and spices if I wanted to make it hotter. It was not dark like the 1 negative review, it was not fishy like the same negative review stated and if it's that one review that discourages you from coming in, then discard it and go visit this location.
The Pad See Ew was just as good. Tender noodles and fresh veggies.
If you like Thai food, and haven't been here, please come see these owners. They are busting their butts working alone, and if the to-go orders are flying in and the house is packed BE PATIENT! His wife only has two hands and she's back their alone. Don't expect instant gratification, this isn't fast food, try a drive thru next time. In other countries you'd be laughed out of the restaurant if you demanded your food to be brought out quickly. So be patient, understanding and kind to this couple. Their food is awesome and they are giving it their all for a dream.
Everything is perfect. I’ve eaten here so many times and tried many items, hits the spot every. single. time. They’re fast and accurate with their orders too.
First time here. Nothing fancy inside but clean with good service.
Had the green papaya salad (med heat) and red curry (med heat) with seafood and side of jasmine rice.
Both very tasty and flavors were perfect. Only thing to improve were the shrimp 🍤 were overcooked and chewy. Scallops were excellent.
Thank you so much. Will totally return. Please support your local restaurants in Eustis Florida.
Their Massaman curry is thick and creamy and amazing. The host is super friendly and always welcoming.
Fantastic Thai food. Service was excellent! We are vegan and truly appreciate the flavor filled selections! Highly recommend
The food was very fresh and delicious. We ordered crab rangoon basil fried rice with shrimp and chicken teriyaki. We also got the coconut balls for dessert. The staff was courteous and helpful. This is a great local spot I highly recommend.
BEST THAI!! I would say it's a family owned place cooking their authentic home-cooked meals for you. Without asking, that's how I would describe it. We have yet to find good Thai food around Mount Dora until now. We used to drive 30-45 minutes away to get good Thai, but not anymore. Aloy Dee blows them away. We had Tom Yum soup which had fresh mushrooms, onions, and was spiced perfectly. The soup was delicious. We also ate Pad Thai, crab rangoons, and Pad Woon Sen. By far the best Pad Thai I have ever had.
If you are reading this and looking for some Thai, just go here. Don't bother with anywhere else in Mount Dora and Eustis. I've done that work and disappointment for you. Just go here!!
This is the place to go! My daughter and I decided to try it out since we love Thai food and this is probably the best pad Thai I’ve had. The chicken teriyaki is amazing too. Everything is very fresh. I’d take a picture but it’s gone. 😂
A little gem here in Eustis! Food is beautifully prepared, to order. Legitimate Thai food! Cannot give it high enough praise.
Just simply amazing. I love the food and the staff. All of it is really good.
Nice family restaurant. Food is wonderful and well portioned. Worth trying.
The only restaurant consistently offering excellence! Everything I try is fresh, healthy, and deeeelish! Thank you to the whole family for making my birthday meal the best! (Your girls are getting big and it was so nice to have their smiles in the dining room!) Luv you guys.
Amazing! Everything was so fresh and so flavorful. Very nice experience and nice friendly service. Thai tea is my new favorite drink, wow!
this was literally my favorite thai food i’ve had in Florida. we got the red curry, and now we can’t wait to try some other dishes! i like…almost cried when i tasted the sticky rice with mango for dessert. thanks Aloy Dee, for making such yummy food.
Best Thai restaurant I've been to! The food is fresh, delicious and made to order! We have eaten here many times and have ordered several different dishes and have never been disappointed! The owners are always there working and are very kind and desire for everything to be perfect. Great place to eat in or order out! Don't miss this gem in Eustis, Florida!!
Small restaurant with wonderful Thai food.
Excellent Thai cuisine that rivals the best in central Florida. This was my second visit to Aloy Dee. The food is consistently very good. I have tried the Pad Kee Moa, green curry, massaman curry, Tom Ka and papaya salad. Flavors are well balanced and the spice levels are appropriate. Be prepared to wait for your food. While service was attentive, food does take a decent amount of time to come out from the kitchen. The building is older but clean.
DONT EAT HERE ! (Keep in mind we have never sent an order back at a restaurant) I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was a disaster honestly.. the crab Rangoon was cold. The pad Thai tasted like fish which was weird. We were super nice in sending the pad Thai back and showed no disrespect and kept apologizing and complimented the other food. My boyfriend just couldn’t stomach eating it because it was so fishy. We even ordered another item! We were still charged for the pad Thai and the other item (they are super cheap or the place must be doing poorly). The server was refusing to talk to us and kept making faces. When I asked why we were charged for the pad Thai he said “I didn’t force you to get it” (we didn’t force the food to be bad? Nor were we warned it would be drenched in fish sauce) and kept making rude remarks. Now I have never experienced such awful customer service in my life and I was really sad cause it was my boyfriends birthday and they ruined the night with their attitudes.. he literally acted like a teenager. I am in customer service too so I would understand if we were being rude or annoying but we were not. He literally just hates his job I guess and took it out on us.. if I could give zero stars I would. Maybe put a note on your menu that says “if the food sucks, it’s your fault” cause that’s how y’all act .
The owners are incredible. The food is delicious! Definitely a place that we will go to at least once a week!
This is THE best Thai food I’ve ever had. They are very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and food allergies. Service is great. Food is hot and FRESH. We will be eating here often! The duck is the best dish I’ve had from any restaurant ever.
We went here a few times during our 10 day stay and every visit was delicious.
I love this place!!!
Great food and amazing coffee. Try the chicken basil rolls, Krab Rangoon, Tom Yum seafood soup (ask for noodles!), And literally any noodles or curry dishes. Just so much fresh flavor! UPDATE: still fantastic. still here weekly.
Excellent food!!! Our usual Thai place was closed so we decided to try out this place and now THIS will be out new go-to.
Excelente comida tailandesa
Nice variety and wonderful flavors. We tried several of the appetizers and entrees and loved each. The drunken noodles were the best we've ever had.
Been looking for a great Thai resturant and finally found an outstanding one. Always fantastic food, service, and love this restaurant.
We have eaten there twice and absolutely love the place. We live in Altoona and love Thai food so we stopped in to try it out. The owners are great and the food was outstanding. Both times we were served more than we could possibly eat. We will definitely go back again and I would recommend it to anyone that likes Thai food
When my husband wants to surprise me he brings Thai food from here! This is my absolute favorite place to eat! The BEST of the BEST authentic Thai food guaranteed! The sweetest owners!
I thought it was very good. I tried my meal mild, but next time will try properly spiced.
Always. I will forever love this place, the owners are the nicest couple and have food for meat eaters to vegans. We've loved every dish we've had, definitely recommend any curry, appetizers and the Thai tea. The owner loves to have us try new recipes (which has never backfired and has always have me new favorites). Whether we're going healthy or getting an indulgent meal, hands down best secret of Eustis.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. Delicious meal.
I've been coming to this place regularly for nearly 2 years, knowing that they do take 5 ever with the food, I decided to call ahead and place our order for lunch so we don't spend our usual hour+ waiting and save some time.
Our order was placed at 11:45 am, we arrived at 12:10pm. (25minutes) The food wasn't ready until 12:47pm (1 hour 2 minutes later) I mentioned this to Akil, the owner, who immediately SNAPPED at me with "I HAD A BIG ORDER THAT I TOLD YOU ABOUT ON THE PHONE"
Sorry sir first off, why are you yelling at me? With attitude? The so called "big order" was 2 entrees with 2 sides of rice....
There were 2 tables with guests aside from us, all waiting and looking at Akil like they wanted to say something about how long the food was taking, constantly looking at the time, and making the gesture where one points to thier watch, but we're too "scared" to say anything especially after witnessing the owner yell at a customer.
I began to explain the reason why we called ahead was to try and sav- cutoff by his bellowing response about the big order.
He then began to complain about me as a customer!!!
And issues I've had with his restaurant!!!
Like when I chose to eat somewhere else because his a/c was broken once!
At that point I lost my appetite and told him to cancel my part of the order to which he responded its already cooked you have to pay for it.
This experience was appalling!
I will not ever be going back and I will be strongly encouraging everyone to eat elsewhere.
They only have 2 decently eatable dishes anyway, the fried rice and the yellow curry.
Everything else, which I have tried over the course of these 2 years is either bland overcooked meats(salmon/shrimp, chicken), sauces that taste like pure sugar (udon/teriyaki), or simply flavorless salads and soups served with cold noodles.
The owners are amazing and nice. The food is the best around here; Thai wise. They are doing it right. YEEYEE
Big menu, authentic meals, clean restaurant, friendly staff. Cozy little spot to enjoy some great Thai food. 😊
Delicious! You can tell the proprietors take pride in their food…it shows in the service & in the taste! Garlic pepper shrimp (fried), green curry & gyoza (veggie) were all very tasty! Great portion sizes.
