Thai flare with a twist!
There should be a line around the block to get into this place. The braised pork belly fried rice is amazing. We ordered veggie rolls, shrimp rolls, and braised pork belly fried rice. All delicious. Very reasonable prices. There is a little something extra spice wise in the fried rice. I can't quite identify the spice, but it makes all the difference. It's possibly the best pork belly I've had from a restaurant
This review is overdue since we dined here about 3 weeks ago
I wanted to give a shout out to the young lady in the front who was so sweet and provided superior service.
The ambiance is lovely ! I really enjoyed dining here, peaceful and inviting.
The food was delicious for the most part and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for Thai Food. 🥗🍖 🍛
We usually do pick up. Every single dish we ordered was amazing. The chicken satay is the best we've ever had, hands down.
Nothing ordered has disappointed, so I try something new each time. Highly recommend the wasabi noodles and the Roti Bread.
The sweetest people run this place. The energy is immaculate. The food is delicious. Everything is cooked upon placing an order. We had to wait for it to cool down. We'll definitely be back.
We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.
Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️
We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.
We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.
Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating.
We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!
If you haven’t tried Dek Sen’s…what are you waiting for?!?! The food is fresh, plentiful, and served steaming hot. The Kee Mow is great, and if you haven’t had the perfectly crispy Hell’s Wings, you’ll need an order of those. The star of our show today was the Moo Palo, the most melt-in-your-mouth pork belly I’ve had in a while. The staff is friendly and the environment is very clean. Absolutely adding this to our lunch and dinner rotation!
I truly enjoyed this small restaurant. The rice plates are big portions (enough to share). The lady staff member is very friendly, very attentive, and very quick. It was my first time here and it won't be my last.
My wife and I took a cooking class at Dek Sen, and had a fantastic time. Their cooking class let you spend 45 minutes in the kitchen before business hours learning to make Thai cuisine, and we were taught shrimp rolls, chicken Tom Yum soup, and beef fried rice. The instruction by the owner was one-on-one (my wife and I as a couple) and she gave great instruction, easy-to-follow technique, and fun background information about each dish. then, we sat in the restaurant area and ate our meal - which was excellent. This is a great, affordable, "date" activity for couples, and I'd highly recommend. Also, this is our new go-to Thai place in the neighborhood. Thanks for the awesome experience!

Delicious and authentic thai food. The noodles were amazing. Felt like we were back in Thailand.!
We had such a great dinner here tonight. Will absolutely be coming back!

Good food and service. Great value for your dollar. Very clean inside and food was ready fast.

Dek Sen is a gem in the neighborhood! The pad thai is perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice, and the pad see ew is a must-try—it’s both tangy and comforting. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. I can’t recommend it enough! Five stars!

We're pretty lucky in the SFV to have good thai restaurants seemingly on every corner, but happy to say that Dek Sen's would be one I come back to! I got their Spicy Thai Basil lunch special along with fried rice for a $2 upcharge. I'll say this; some Thai restaurants seem to cater to the American palate too far and it can be hard to get dishes with some actual spice. I'd asked for it to be extra spicy online, and they delivered - it had great flavor, elevated heat, and ultimately left me wanting to come back next time. And while I enjoyed it, I do think $2 for the fried rice is something I'll skip next time I order, as it wasn't anything overly special.
Wow, delicious. I had mixed veggie stir fry with meat added. Will be going here with a friend every time I am out in the valley.

You want a DELICIOUS MEAL? QUICK!!!!! this is the place. Not sure how they do it but everything was great. The Rangoons were yummy, the fried rice was great, the shrimp wonton soup was wonderful. Definitely will be returning!
Probably one of the best Thai spots in the valley. My wife and I have tried a lot of different Thai restaurants, but this place stands out as one of the best. Every dish we’ve tried has been so full of flavor and all of their house made sauces are great. Definitely get their house chili sauce! The kimchi fried rice, chicken sa te, and the moo palo are some of my favorites. But, all of the noodle dishes are also excellent and they seem to keep adding to the menu. The employees are always so warm and friendly and if you order through their online system, you generally get some kind of discount or free appetizer from time to time. Highly recommend this place.
After a couple of hours doing laundry we decided to give this place a try for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in everything looked really clean and welcoming. Young lady behind the counter was very kind and polite I think she knew I had never been here before. We ordered a pad thai another beef noodle plate some fried banana and the mango rice pudding. We really enjoyed the food the meat was cooked well the seasoning was awesome. We will definitely be coming here again I'd recommend this place for anyone who is craving some Thai food. Will be trying different plates next time we go but so far nothing disappointed. My son is a very picky eater and even if he was down to try the noodles and liked them. The mango rice pudding was a big hit but I'd recommend chillin it in the fridge before eating it.
What a gem for Thai! Food was delicious and staff/service was friendly and prompt! The pork bow was out standing and excellent. If you looking for good Thai come here
Love the appetizers such as fried chicken dumplings, egg rolls & my favorite crab Rangoon. The menu is vast with delicious Thai dishes. Whether it’s take out or eating in, the service is fast & friendly. It’s an intimate setting with items from Thailand to buy including snacks & souvenirs.
Food is great! The service was also fantastic very chill easy going spot to come enjoy lunch. I've had the seafood tom yum soup and veggie dumplings. Both did not disappointed!!! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes
Awesome Thai food
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the valley! The staff is so, so friendly. The food is fresh and delicious - highly recommend the green curry! The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of free parking in the back lot and on the street. They have affordable lunch specials too.
Got takeout. Decent pad see ew. Bad pad Thai. Mango rice pudding had bad tasting mangos but decent rice pudding.
Had the yellow curry and cream cheese rangoons. Good food, good prices, and fast service. Would visit again.
Love coming here. Food is always good and consistent. Will continue to come here and enjoy all they have to offer. Try their matcha milk tea, so good! 👌
Mostly take out

Highly recommend the moo palo. Braised pork with bok choy and mushrooms over rice. The owners are super friendly.
Honestly. So happy I found this place! Delicious food. Quick service. And a chill spot! It's my new lovely Thai spot for sureeee
These reviews must be rigged. There are clearly better Thai restaurants in the valley. Been wanting to try this place for a while and will continue to pass it on the way home.
They accepted order on a day it was closed. I drove all the way to only get disappointed
This is a tiny gem & hidden well..Excellent food maybe a bit too much salt on the pork bau.
I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken. Cost was $15.33 including tax. Sauce was too sweet. Portion was tiny. I left hungry.
Excellent food and service!
All I can say is the food is great and the employees are very friendly. The food here can also be found in the streets of Bangkok's good areas.
I’ve been meaning to go for a long time, finally stopped by with my daughter and we both devoured the food. We got the bbq chicken w chow mein combo, green green curry and spring rolls. Super delicious.
So yummy! I tried their Kee mow, crab rangoons and Thai tea and it was all delicious! The Kee Mow is even great as a leftover. Great flavors and spice level.
I've ordered a couple of times from this place for take out, I love the Kee Mow, spicy, delicious meat and noodles. Recommend!!

Just left here with my wife earlier. We got the Moo Palo, it was delicious and service was great. I'll stop by every time I'm in town.
I loved it. The food was really really good and the customer service was amazing. My new favorite spot in the area.
Love this place - get the kee mow with beef and an order of the Helles Wings and thank me later.
Seriously underrated spot for Thai takeout!!
We found this place after seeing eater LA call the kee mow best dish of the week, and it lived up to the review. All the dishes I’ve had here have been amazing, the kee mow, see ew, and pad thai. The price point is also very reasonable. Also, the home made thai hot sauce is amazing, thanks Dek Sen’s!!
Very good I recommend the pad kee mao
We ordered 3 different items, all were delicious. I would say the place is more for take out place, only because there were only 2 tables inside. The People were very kind that work there. Everything was very clean and neat. Yummy!!!
cool new place, great food.
I've ordered here 4 or 5 times now, and I haven't yet had a bad takeout here. Great value for money, and the food is delicious. My wife really likes the Pad Thai, the Krapow rice is awesome, but it does have a kick, I like the Moo Palo, The Hell wings are really good. Only down side is they close by 8, so order early.
Stopped by Dek Sens on whim when driving by and I’m so happy I did! The food was delicious. The hells wings in particular were something special but everything we got was great and tasted really fresh. The staff were lovely and super helpful in answering all my questions. Can’t wait to try more of the menu next time!
Very delicious food place.
Very nice service and
They welcome you as soon as you walk in .
Highly recommend eating here and cking out it .
They previously opened as Rustic Spoon Sherman Oaks. Now they reopen as Dek Sen's noodles and rice with a very cute concept. It's a self service style. With smaller menus and more affordable prices.
Reopened today as Dek Sen’s by Rustic Spoon. Great prices and amazing food! Normally pork belly has a little too much fat for me, but Dek Sen’s kaw moo Palo is perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Definitely coming back!!
I always see this place when I do laundry next door, so glad I finally went in! The food tastes amazing, the staff is very friendly and inviting, and I can't wait to go back!
I had to update my review. This is some of the most deliscious Thai food in the Los Angeles! We Have eaten at 3 locations.
The food is just as good as the other locations and everyone working here I've talked with is very nice and helpful. Definitely some of the best thai food I've had in LA
Inedible drunken noodles. Slimy egg rolls.
It’s a no for me.
Stopped by this place for work and was very surprised. There's an elegant touch to how they prepare their dishes and you can feel that they actually seem to care about presentation. They have black rice which I find to be the tastiest of all rice! Will stop by again!
We made 4 orders with my family and we did not like the taste, we returned the food and they did not return the money and they did not give the option to choose another food, I will not buy food in that place again, BAD SERVICE !!
First time at the Sherman Oaks location and we won’t be back. My eggplant was uncooked and swimming in a nasty sauce. This had been my favorite dish on previous visits to the Toluca Lake location but this version was inedible. When my plate was pushed aside and the server finally made it to our table ( the only occupied table in the dining room), no attempt was made to rectify the situation. I could add that water glasses sat empty, never refilled. We were basically ignored and then given a check.
It was gross the meat was rotten
Great thai, nice presentation!
Food was great and the staff was very friendly. I will eat there again soon.
This place has amazing Thai food and they serve breakfast and it's really good I will come back all the time.
Best curries - pumpkin and green are my favorite. Good fresh ingredients. I also like their dark purple healthy rice.
This is one of my go to spots. The food is so good and clean and the service is great!
Great place we have been coming many times, my weekly spot. From the pad Thai, to the Curry, even to the smoothies and milkshakes there unbelievably tasty. Love it there. Must try spot. Thank you guys.
Great Thai food and great service. We had seared scallops, vegetable spring roll, and Pad See Ew, they were all great. I'll go back soon.
Never been... Stopped in.. wasn't disappointed! I had the scallops... So good. Should have taken a photo they were beautiful but ate then too quick😆 I'll be back!
This was the best Thai food I have ever tried!!!! Everything was so fresh, wow I was amazed!!!!! Really the best restaurant in Los Angeles
Great Thai food! I have ordered from here several time and the food has been delicious each time. The staff is friendly and the orders are prepared quickly.
So happy they opened up a location near my place. The beef Krapow is amazing. Ask for coconut milk in your Thai Tea. You'll thank me later. ig: @angelepatino
I can’t wait to order from here again!!
They have two other locations. I only tried the Sherman Oaks one that just opened. I took out the food (Pat see Yu and yellow chicken curry) and ate at home. I really like the foods. The manager was very friendly. I think this is the best Thai food restaurant in Sherman Oaks area. Highly recommend.
Looks cool. Two locations
