10000/5 stars! We drive from San Francisco just to eat here. This place truly puts the "heart" in Thai Heart. You get both quality AND quantity for an outrageously affordable price. We've been going here for years and we always look forward to it. The owners are the sweetest, most generous and hardworking people. You could close your eyes and point to the menu, and you'd love whatever ended up on the table. Always fast, always fresh, with a home-cooked feel. We're never more sad to have limited stomach capacity than when we come here.

It was my first time, and I got a handful of togo items and was very pleased.
The service was a bit slow but very friendly. The crisp veggie rolls and sauce were delicious, and the yellow curry was fantastic. The Pad-see-ew was a smidge on the dry side for my preference, but the shrimp were good quality, and the broccoli seemed a bit old.
I would eat there again though.

The best Thai restaurant in the Bay Area is a cozy mom and pop establishment that exudes heart and soul in every dish. Our experience there was absolutely fantastic. It all started when my daughter recommended this place after our visit to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. It was already 9:10 pm, so we decided to give them a call and inquire about their operating hours.

To our delight, the owner answered and kindly informed us that although they close at 9:30 pm, they would be more than happy to take our order over the phone and have it prepared by the time we arrived. He emphasized that there was no need to rush and advised us to drive safely.

Arriving at the restaurant at 9:35 pm, we were pleasantly surprised to find our food already served on the table. Considering how hungry and tired we were, it felt like pure heaven!

The flavors of the dishes were absolutely delightful, and the portion sizes were generous. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, parking was plentiful, and most importantly, the owners were incredibly caring and welcoming. They encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our meal to the fullest.

In summary, the food was beyond amazing, the portion sizes were just right, the prices were fair, there was ample parking, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel cherished and satisfied

Each dish could be shared with 2 people. Outside of the food, the owners are the best part of eating here. A husband and wife who are so kind, positive, and fun! It feels like I'm going to my uncles house for dinner when eating here - in the best way possible! There's a very warm, cozy, family vibe when you eat here. The place is situated in a cute little courtyard and the restaurant is always very clean! If you haven't tried this place, I couldn't reccomend it more to you!

Hard to tell if it's even open when you walk in. Waiter is also in the kitchen which isn't a huge problem until you need anything besides ordering ten minutes after you're ready. Burnt rice from bottom of pot. Did not take it off our bill when I sent it back because " that's how he likes it" food just average. Expensive.

Best Thai food in Scotts Valley, no doubt. Such a lovely couple working hard to make SV happy. Just the 2 of them working so be patient and kind. The curries are excellent as well as the papaya salad, rice and noodle dishes. They can make the food crazy hot if you wish. The wife is a fantastic chef and her husband, Richie is the nicest guy. Enjoy this gem.

Stir Fried Fresh Ginger with rice was super yummy!

Place is pretty dingy but the service and food was great! I wish they had a beef selection for yellow curry plate but the chicken was good. To be honest I'm not sure I would come back except for being in a convenient location.

We had Thai Heart do a large take out order for a joint 40th birthday party we were hosting. They did such an amazing job not only getting all the food prepared in time but packaging it in large catering trays in cardboard boxes for easy transportation. The food was delicious and in generous portions; it eded up being way more cost effective than any catering companies we could find. Can't recommend them enough!

The place is a small family owned restaurant. Food is delicious. This place is definitely our go-to spot when we are in Scotts Valley. We ordered. For starters, we ordered satay chicken with peanut sauce and egg rolls. As an entree, we ordered the Basil chicken, pra-ram chicken with mixed vegetables, peanut sauce, and spicey seafood . All were delicious. This place is worth checking it out. Prices are reasonable.

Pros: large portions, decent prices, nice people. Pad Thai was good and very filling.

Cons: the place is a little cluttered. The atmosphere is kind of anxiety-inducing to me. Glad I didn’t dine in.

I'm out of town visiting Scotts Valley California and was craving some Thai red curry. This place didn't disappoint the red curry was great and they're pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp was awesome. I highly recommend the red curry and I don't like too much heat so I got it mild but if you like the heat ask him to heat it up a little bit. I really enjoyed the service the husband and wife that were working there are amazing people and we're very nice.

Best Thai food that you'll find in Santa Cruz county. I haven't tried a lot of items, but pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and the Thai sausage are pretty good.

It's a small mom and pop Thai restaurant where they greet you with genuine enthusiasm. The prices are reasonable and the wait is short!

Wow, what a terrific place! The food was outstanding! Solid fresh rolls. The Thai sausage has a unique sour rice flavor and a very nice sweet and sour dipping sauce.

The red curry was a standout. I think it's probably the best red curry in the bay area. We had the roast duck red curry and a red curry with tofu. The vegetables and the thai basil were so fresh, sliced and cooked nicely. The duck was succulent. The spice level was perfect, right on that line where I would not want it any spicier! Also had a rich depth of flavor from their curry paste.

The owners were also such a joy to speak with. For entertainment, a couple of squirrels were being mischievous in the courtyard and visible through the window. The owners named them "Bob" and "Billy".

Great food, great owners, and I really enjoyed the interior. It really felt like a little cozy Bangkok restaurant. And the paint color on the walls was vibrantly fabulous!

Visited this Great little place on our Holiday from the UK . During the three week stay in the area this was the best value and the food was amazing.

We were on a road trip and happened to come across this simple and unassuming Thai joint. Dont be fooled by its simple setting and interiors - the food is authentic and yummy! We tried the pineapple fried rice, Dunken noodles and Tom Yum soup. All of them were awesome!

I believe I was charged a $5 Amex fee that was not shown on my receipt, only my credit card statement. I was not notified and do not own an AMEX card...

The green beans was very spicy but were undercooked even though I said I was not in a hurry. It had little flavor except heat.

Hidden gem in Scott’s Valley. The owners are truly lovely people who put a lot of heart and soul into their food. They are very humble and hard working and stay working till late at night to come back in the early morning. They even take care of the squirrels outside! Been here numerous times and the food has always been great. Definitely try the Tom Ka soup!

Had some delicious Tom Kha soup and a very yummy Pad Thai. Swung in by chance with my gf and even though I wasn't that hungry to begin with I could not stop eating. We finished every last crumb we could find!

Panang curry salmon came with plastic wrap still attached to fillet. Coconut milk added too early, boiled and lost richness. Takeout came with aluminium foil boat inside container: what, want me eat foil scraps? Vegetables came with weird flavor. Nice people, shame about the food. The peanut butter they use is Skippy.

We did not have a good experience here and I would not recommend this place. We called in to order to go and they told us 25 mins, it ended up taking 55 mins so we wasted our time sitting there for 30 mins before our order was ready and they didn't even apologize or seem to care. The food was NOT GOOD. The Fresh Rolls were ALL lettuce, nothing else. There was no other substance in the rolls. The TOM-KAR GAI soup had a weird flavor and was almost inedible. We got it with tofu and the tofu was overcooked and did not taste good. The red curry had no flavor at all, super plain. The Pad Thai was the only thing that was decent, had some good heat. I will never go back and would not recommend it solely on the fact that the food was far below par.

This place smells so good! There sticky rice is so good and so generous... Try thy place. A must.

The bbq pork is DELICIOUS!!! Well everything was, we ordered bbq pork, chicken and prawn, Thai fried rice, pad Thai and potstickers, but the pork was outstanding.

Absolutely delicious new go to spot for thai food! I felt awful because I didn't know how big their kitchen was and made alot of people wait for my big order but the owners were super nice about it. Portions are huge for what you pay this is my favorite Thai restaraunt in the bay.

I love calling these guys for takeout. They have a very small kitchen and used to take awhile to get orders out. The food is authentic and you can tell there is a lot of love put into every dish. Now when I call they have a better system. They call you when the order is 7-10 minutes from being ready to pick up. They have the best Coconut soup!

Good food, but the service is poor. The waiters dont really listen to their customers and the food takes way too long to make. It took them 20 minutes just to being out our ice tea, and when I asked where our food was the waiter looked at me and walked away. The food is good, but if you want quality service and speedy meals, dont come here.

Good food but seem to be understaffed

good food, but terrible service. three times in the past month they’ve been closed during listed hours (no sign indicating why). the final straw was one night this week we called to place an order at 5pm and we’re told they were too busy and could not take an order. i asked when i should call back to place my order and the gentleman told me “not tonight.”

We came based on 4.5 stars other reviewers gave. We ordered beef salad, pad see ew, and panang curry. Beef salad was ok and the other two items tasted "watered down". Big disappointment. 😒

The food here is always delicious, but the wait time is never too much. It's a family business, and they really care about their diners. Service is always attentive and kind, and eating in is a treat because of the cheerful ambience of the decor: the different happy-colored walls and artwork create a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Great soup!

Quiet Sunday evening experience: cozy restaurant, but not crowded. There was one man whose name I can't remember who seemed to be running the whole show. He was incredibly gracious and made me and my friend an outstanding dinner despite having several customers to juggle. It was a cold evening and we ordered Thai ice tea because we couldn't resist. He brought us hot tea with dinner, and then served our ice tea with minimum ice after dinner as dessert. It's as if he read our minds.

All in all, this has got to be the best experience ever in terms of a waiter/proprietor reading his clientele and seeing to it that everyone is happy. 10/10 would go back there again. This is a gem.

Nice people. Penang curry was delicious. Pad thai far too sweet. Understaffed restaurant was poorly serviced and because of that there was no time to give to the other customers. Id love if they staffed more people and didint use a microwave to make part of our meal. Going out to eat is always rushian roulette.

I came in to make an order to go and they were so sweet! I ordered spicy green curry. The gentleman let me have some soup while I was waiting.
Once I returned to the office to try, I was so happy that it had flavor! It was actually spicy too! It didn't just taste like bland coconut milk with canned vegetables (like a few other Thai restaurants). I will be coming back to taste the rest of the menu!
