Vibrant outpost featuring a selection of familiar Thai dishes & cocktails in a stylish dining room.
If you're in the Santa Rosa area and are craving Thai food, SEA Noodle Bar is a pretty good place to visit. The restaurant is very clean and I love the open layout and overall atmosphere. The service at SEA was good - we sat at the bar for lunch and the bartender/server made sure our glasses were always full and checked up on us regularly. As for the food, it's good Thai food for the area. It's definitely not as good as some of the restaurants we get in the Bay area or LA, but for Santa Rosa, it's pretty solid. The Crispy Tofu was seriously good - when I'm in the area, I would definitely order that dish again.
This is essentially a quick and slightly cheaper alternative to Sea Thai Bistro. We love stopping here on week nights for some great Thai! It’s always great, service is always quick, and we have never had a problem getting seated. I will say the actual style of the restaurants interior is less impressive than Sea Thai Bistro, but the food makes up for it!! Really large portions for the noodles and rice as well.
At the risk of being a complete jerk, I really am making this review because I saw a special that caught my interest, crispy fried wontons! With ground prawn and pork and cilantro I was VERY excited for a delicious appetizer to go with my meal. There was MAYBE a teaspoon of filling. I really was extremely disappointed as I haven’t had a bad meal here yet or even a thing to say negative. I hope you guys see this, and know this is coming from a place of love and heartbreak over what could have been a delicious full bite of delicious wonton.
I’ve been here a few times recently had usually the food is on par as in nothing special. My gf tried the drunken noodles and immediately told me they were too salty. I had a taste and indeed it was grossly over seasoned. The waitress noticed and asked if we wanted the menu to try something else. We declined, but still had to pay for the salty dish. I’m sorry but if any restaurant serves your something inedible, they generally knock it off your bill right? Not going back and not recommending anyone I know to patronize this restaurant.
Tldr: I only eat Pad Thai here but it's the best. If you don't know what to order, get Pad Thai.
What I ordered this time:
- Pad thai: sooooo delicious! One of the best pad thai that I've ever eaten. Generous portion, big shrimps, decent amount of chicken. So flavorful.
- Pad thai with crispy pork belly: it's similar with the original pad thai but you get a fried egg and pork belly instead. They say it's crispy pork belly but it's not crunchy. I won't order this again. Not that's it's not good but it doesn't make pad thai any more special. I love the original pad thai better.
- Basil crispy pork belly bowl: it was just okay. Wouldn't order that again.
I used to consider this restaurant really expensive but now, the price here isn't that much more expensive than other restaurants and their food (pad thai) is amazing and definitely worth the price. You'll get great service, high-end experience and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing - for Thai food, this is the best spot in Santa Rosa. There is often a wait when we dine in, but takeout is generally ready when expected. This is a great spot for a business lunch or a date dinner. Pad Thai, drunken man noodle, pork wonton soup and potstickers are all favorites. Only downside is the hostess..... not welcoming, not friendly, and not very organized and efficient. The rest of the staff are great.
Very fast moving place inside with staff running around trying to serve food quickly. Check-in was hectic because it was crowded, so I can almost forgive the hostess. She looked stressed! Food was very good, quick, and very reasonable. We started with potstickers, then shared Pad Thai noodles, drunken man noodles, summer fire chicken, and chicken and prawns noodle soup. One star off for the loud music and hectic pace, but I'd eat here again if I was in a hurry and hungry!
Dish portions are great to share or finish yourself if you're hungry. Excellent food choices and amazing service. (Remember to request for them to leave off the cilantro of you don't like it. There's a few dishes that comes with cilantro.) A+
Food is good here and economic
So delicious, wonderful place for soul soothing broth and very helpful engaging service.
I’ve been here a few times recently had usually the food is on par as in nothing special. My gf tried the drunken noodles and immediately told me they were too salty. Food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Took a while for bartenders to warm up, it once they did they were great.
UPDATE: we’ve eaten here three or four times now, and it’s solidly mediocre, especially for being more than cheap to eat here. The food is basically inexpensive Asian takeout quality, and the drinks are meh. 😒
Our first time getting food (take-out) from here was a mixed bag. We sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited for our food to be made, and that went well enough. We ordered the pork soup dumpling appetizer to share, my wife ordered the peanut noodle soup and I ordered the China Town Noodle.
The soup dumplings were pretty good, though nearly all had torn and the broth ran out. My wife got completely the wrong order - they gave her chicken curry instead of the peanut soup. That said, the curry was really tasty, though it had no veggies in it. My China Town Noodles was just OK. The "sriracha" that came with it was not like any sriracha sauce I've tried before, and the lettuce that was under the noodle was almost rotten it was so brown and gross.
We might try again - I tend to give places a second chance - but it wasn't a great start for our first try.
Food was too salty, peanut soup was over the top and intense (you expect me to eat a pound of melted peanut butter and soy sauce?), duck soup was more skin than duck, bbq pork pad thai was way way too salty and no other flavor and the pork was mostly fat, fried tofu and pot stickers were good but served with soy instead of hoisin, thai iced teas were small and mostly ice… bottom line, this place uses every trick in the book to maximize their profits and provide you with a sub par meal and charge you triple for it. Save your money for Savor in Windsor or Simmer in Rohnert Park. Service was ok, atmosphere was fine but too dark.
Maybe one of the most awesome restaurants I've been in lately! Yummy food, fast service, attentive staff.
I am a regular patent to this particular restaurant in the Sister restaurant in Montgomery Village. I usually ordered their soup. They’re quite interesting if you ask for extra brussels sprouts they charge you two dollars. Their soup is $21 and went up to $29 after I was there eating the $21 soup. Interesting thing about the restaurant it’s not quality. The chicken soup they include chicken with the skin on it. It’s terrible. I find it this restaurant. I decided to go home and prepare my chicken noodle soup. It is broth sprout, jalapeño peppers and whatever else you might include, that’s it. When a restaurant suggest quality and it’s not that at all and this restaurant is that don’t waste your money there it appears that you’re getting good service getting good food, but you’re not
The food is consistently delicious but this review is to put the spotlight on Khmyah, for her outstanding service. She was wonderfully personable, made sure we had everything we needed without hovering, and provided great suggestions we added to our usual order. Five Stars!
Always a destination we go to when in the area.
We always can count on great food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere.
Got some amazing curry. The last time I was here . The flavors were great, not too spicy and plenty of food for the price. high-quality ingredients cooked well and a clean restaurant inside. Best Thai food I’ve had in town , definitely worth trying.
I always get Pad Thai to go, at both locations.
Always good !!!!!
Super good food
Feines Essen, nette Bedienung

My favorite place for take out for when I’m craving something fresh and Asian. Solid place! Pad thai, holy basil chicken, and the cucumber avocado salad are really good!
Just no. 🫤 Ever dish we ordered had no flavor, sorry.
The coconut noodle soup was amazing
IT WASN'T WHAT WE EXPECTED...ONCE WAS ENOUGH...IT WASN'T OUR CUP OF TEA...TRIVIA: EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU OBTAIN...
GONNA REAL SOON...PROBABLY NEXT TIME WE ARE IN SANTA ROSA...OCEAN SEAFOOD RICE BOWL / CHICKEN & SHRIMP NOODLE BOWL SOUNDS DELECTABLE / ALSO THE SHRIMP DUMPLINGS / OR POTSTICKERS AS AN APPETIZER ...OPENS 11:30 -3:00 LUNCH 4:00 -8:30 DINNER...EVERYDAY...TRIVIA: EXTENSIVE TAIWAN DISHES...ALSO SPIRITS / BEER * WINE * NON -ALCOHOLIC OR MIXED ALCOHOLIC DRINKS...
Yummy food but a bit too sweet.
Sat outside. Waited for 50 minutes for our food. Never was asked if we wanted any more drinks. People that were sat 30 minutes after us got their food first. Really felt like we were totally forgotten and no apology other that the kitchen is backed up. Food was hot when finally delivered and good flavor..... Worth the price? Eh.... Feel like we can do better at home. Hopefully just an odd day so we will visit and try again.
Noodles are so good, but service was terrible. Too much waiting. The outside seat was too narrow and shiny. Plate and spoon were so dirty.
Such a surprisingly delicious find. Absolutely great lunch.
Good food but spicy..
Really good noodles 😋
Not that great, but very good noodles, but the appetizers are really great.
Yummy yummy yummy
DO NOT GO HERE. They sold me a gift card for a local teacher whose father had just passed. Cassandra heard my email wrong over the phone and sent the gift card to the wrong email. When the teacher went in, they would not accept the gift card they sent. I have tried many times to call the manager who never works by the way to help me and no call back. Every time I call now, Cassandra hangs up on me and they don't answer. Definitely do NOT spend your money here.
Great place
Such a great food experience. Yellow curry and drunken noodles and cant go wrong!
Love this place 😁 pad thai is a must . Little baskets are crack!!!
Excellent food. Great service. Warm & friendly ambience
Ordered some drunken noodles with tofu, chicken and veggies.
I used to really adore this place, but my last few visits have been quite disappointing. I usually order pad thai and have them substitute all the meat (chicken/prawns) for all tofu; the last few times I barely got any tofu. It honestly looked like they gave me the normal amount of tofu and omitted the rest of the meat instead of substitute it. There was a substantial lack of bean sprouts, cilantro and I only got a small quarter of a lime not to mention not a utensil in sight (I guess I'll use my hands...). Yes, this place is ALWAYS busy, and yes inflation is ridiculous and no doubt effects food costs, but it by no means does that serve as an appropriate excuse to skimp on ingredients (especially when your prices increase to offset your food costs). I will give them ONE more chance and if I get the same results, I'll update my review to 1 star and never return, such a shame because this place used to be the go-to spot.
Food was great. I really loved the ocean seafood rice bowl and the noodles and Our waiter Willie was great. Thank you!
Excellent Thai fusion cuisine. Not traditional authentic Thai but the flavors are fantastic.

This place is great. The portions are huge and the price is great. This is my second time eating here this week. I highly recommend this place.
Had the Drunken Thai Noodle dish. It was very, very tasty. I ate the whole thing!! Lol Service was excellant and the atmosphere was sophisticated. I highly recommend it. ❤
Super attentive and enthusiastic servers. The portions are definitely worth the money.
Really good Asian/Vietnamese fusion food. We ate off the appetizer menu and shared. It's noisy, and service could be a bit better but one of my favorite Asian spots in Santa Rosa. Limited wine list but adequate for the cuisine. Also, it has a full bar.
Everything was absolutely delicious 😋
The spicy curry chicken soup is one of my favs! I drive out of my way all the time just to pick some up.
Great location, solid atmosphere and the food is killer. My wife and I have enjoyed both visits here a lot. They are always quick to take our order and the soup arrives fresh and hot.
We haven't been disappointed by anything we have had yet!
The waiters were annoying and they started cleaning while we were eating despite the restaurant not being closed for another 5 minutes. Despite being asked to stop cleaning they continued. We could not taste our food. Food was meh besides that.
Tldr: I only eat Pad Thai here but it's the best. If you don't know what to order, get Pad Thai.

The food, as always, was wonderful. The service was attentive but not over the top. The prices are good, and the portions are plentiful but not way too big. My only complaint is that it's REALLY noisy. I had to keep asking my dinner companion to repeat himself, as I couldn't hear him across the table. For that reason, I tend to like SEA Thai Bistro better. But the food and service are fabulous in both places.
Great deal for under $100 for 2 with drinks.
Nice atmosphere and attentive staff but food was very homogenized with mild, uninteresting flavor.
Delicious noodles in Santa Rosa on my last wine country trip! Both of us were well-pleased with our choices while simultaneously craving each other's selections. My duck with buckwheat noodles came in such a rich five-spice broth that each bite felt like a luxury. Thea went for the BBQ pork wonton soup, which had a super flavorful broth from the one sip I took before we dove in.
I wasn't drinking yet that afternoon, but cocktails looked fun and wine choices nicely thought out for noodle dishes. And I'd be lying if I didn't say I was eyeing all the cold noodle dishes too! Santa Rosa friends, you are lucky to have this spot. As it was pretty busy on a weekday at a mall, I think y'all know that!
Hostess was rude and pulled a bag of my hands when she didn't immediately get her way. I will not return to petulant staff. Let's be more professional please.
Fantastic food and service!
This place just never disappoints. The food is amazing, generous portions, service always great and I love the ambiance.
Good food very fast service but too dark to read menu
This use to be my FAVORITE restaurant! But tonight I couldn't believe the smell and filth of the bathroom.....it was worse than raw sewage. I have never experienced this there before. Then the drinks and food came and it just wasn't the same 😢 What has happened???
Very tasty selections pricing is good and Services is friendly. We will return many times
Service, food, and cleanliness of the restaurant are on point. Recommend you go here for lunch or dinner dates. My favorite is the Spicy Lemongrass Noodle Soup with Wild Prawn (Egg Noodle is my recommendation). Also, for appetizers, get the shrimps on the Bruschetta bread.
Amazing food and service was fast and everyone had a smile
The absolute best!
This place was alright. My drink was amazing but the food was not exactly my speed. Nothing bad to say about the staff though!
I ate at Sea Noodle Bar yesterday.
I eat at this restaurant fairly regularly. I have diet restrictions and this restaurant is always accommodating. I don't really eat out at all because I have dietary restrictions.
I usually order the Thai Pad noodles and the chef cooks them with butter. I cannot have Canola or Soy oil. Yesterday the check for the 1st time refused to cook my food with butter. He also gave the waitress a hard time about it because she had told me and my party this fact. He cook my food with Canola oil and as usual when my food is cooked with canola oil I became violently ill just a short time later.
Canola oil is a carcinogenic and restaurant use this oil frequently causing illness to Mankind.
I have reached out to the restaurant and have not heard back from the manager.
First time at this restaurant and we loved it!! Highly recommended this place.
Not that good
Came in at 8pm on a Saturday night. They close at 830 so I felt a little pressured already… but, the service was god awful. We ordered drinks, and our food - the lady was nice. Our food came out - presentation was great, food was actually pretty good too. Some of the meat was cold but not enough for me to bring it up, kinda just wrote it off to us being there before close. What made me write a review is when we asked for more peanut sauce at 8:34 or 8:35 and the guy says the kitchen is closed.. proceeded to gives us our check on his next pass. We didn’t get a refill on waters, ask how our food was. Kinda bizarre behavior from a night staff on a Saturday. Why is your staff so eager to leave? I know we won’t be back to give this place a shot for a while. David M was the dude who could have had a bit more of human experience btw.
Very good soups!!
Omg my favorite place in cali
The ambiance is a perfect setting for family in a dark way
Perfect music polite staff
And omg did I say the food is fantastic
I eat here a few times a week and all I can say
Wonderful place
I wound up with the leftovers from my whole family and enjoyed this place for 5 days after leaving, one of the best.
First the cons: It's loud and the atmosphere is not good at all. It's packed wall to wall with 4am marathon running corporate fufu business people talking about closing deals. "Yeah thats a tough market segment bro." When I see a place called a noodle bar I expect cozy. The chairs are Hella awkward to sit in. Super overpriced. They know their customer base. Porsche driving Xanax wine moms that do tastings.
Pros: Pork belly was tasty. Wait staff was excellent.
This place is so good! Only complaint I could say is sometimes they can be pretty busy! The food is amazing a must try!
Too expensive!
Excellent pad Thai. Tasty appetizers, too. I always have leftovers for lunch the next day.
Yummy food, cool atmosphere
This place is amazing - for Thai food, this is the best spot in Santa Rosa. There is often a wait when we dine in, but takeout is generally ready when expected. This is a great spot for a business lunch or a date dinner. Pad Thai, drunken man noodle, pork wonton soup and potstickers are all favorites. Only downside is the hostess..... not welcoming, not friendly, and not very organized and efficient. The rest of the staff are great.
What more can be said about the best Thai food to be had in Sonoma County? Innovative and flavorful takes on all the noodle, rice, and soup classics, incredible appetizers and salads, and a wide array of popular cocktails. Highly recommended.
Yum-Yum, lots of good food, efficient friendly service, in a pleasant atmosphere. No wonder this popular place is always busy.
Attentive waiter, love the food
Me, wife and 2 toddlers dined in. Staff were very helpful as my kids were quite grumpy (hungry) that time. Food as expected was great.
Fantastic fresh food! We got Lettuce Cups, Yellow Chicken Curry rice bowl, Salmon Bowl, and Chicken Fried Rice with fried egg on top. Everything was perfectly delicious. Very welcoming space inside plus an outside patio. Highly recommend!
Mediocre food. Very expensive. Ambiance could be better.
Bomb food. Great service
The service was competent and friendly. Several servers were involved in the order and delivery of our food, making it very efficient.
Alas, the ease of getting the food didn’t make it any more impressive. Pokey’s roasted duck noodle soup was excessively salty and the portion of duck meager. My pork wontons were tasty but few and, in contrast to the brine the duck floated in, my broth was rather bland. The Boy’s chicken satay wasn’t bad, and the lychee lemonade was to all our liking.
Still, though “not bad” keeps a review above 2 stars, it doesn’t mean I’m itching to go back.
Great food. Staff excellent!!
Tasty food and nice server. We went during a reasonably busy lunch hour on a weekday, were seated outside immediately, and enjoyed a potsticker appetizer and pad thai.
This place is very delicious, The drunken man noodles are flavorful and a little spicy I highly recommend this place because I’m sure the other food items on the menu are just as delicious as these noodles (:
Great ambiance and great food. We started with the crispy prawn appetizer. It came out piping hot with a cooling cucumber salad on the side. Prawns we're cooked perfectly.
Husband got a pork noodle bowl that he said was really good. I had the trip tip salad. It was outstanding.
We have had several other dishes here and they are always fresh, interesting and delicious. We will definitely be back.
Great Thai/ Vietnamese food. Great service near a nostrom rack and old navy + whole foods!
The staff is very nice and the food and atmosphere are lovely. I’d love to see the restaurant management switch to paper straws and consider composting. :)
So yummy!!!
Order ahead and online.
Some of THE BEST noodles I’ve ever had.
Super good food, great service, will return frequently!!!
It never fails, we always have good food, kind service and tasty drinks when we visit SEA Noodle bar.
Absolutely divine Holy Basil entree! The food here is frickin’ delicious and the portions are incredible. If it wasn’t so good I’d have lunch for the next day. Every time I go to Santa Rosa I stop here, and even though it’s connected to a mall I still think it’s one of the best restaurants around. It’s also extremely affordable!
I have been to lunch and dinner here may times but this wi be my last . I met a friend for lunch and ordered the SEA FOOD RICE BOWL and I woofed it down as it was my first meal of the day. I drank 3 glasses of water payed the bil and was out of there by 1:45. Went to a meeting g scheduled at my office and was fi ishing up some paper work on my computer and around 3:30 I very strange feeling came over me. I instantly got hot and dizzy and nauseated. Barely made it to my office bathroom only to spend the ext 3 hours getting violently sick coming out of both ends of my body. It was as bad if not worse then any time I've ever been sick even at sea. I felt like dieing and in my head I new it was food poisoning. I finally got the courage to drive myself home around 8:00 pm. A dear friend called to report this to the staff and was told by the hostess that was impossible and shrugged it off. I fear others had this experience based on the owners of this place have 2 other seafood type plcaes in Montgometey villiage.i do plan to follow up on this with management and file a complaint with the heath department. Depending on how I am treated will determine my next move.i hope that nobody else has had to suffer this experience.i will say after this I will never eat or recommend this or any of there places again.
PS I did call the on duty nurse at Kaiser and based on all my data it was determined to be food poisoning.
Can't get enough of this amazing, authentic Thai restaurant! Spicy lemongrass soup rocks my world. Staff are wonderful. Nice drinks selection.
Great fried calamari. Tasty yellow curry.
Great food, service and atmosphere!
Tasty food
Super good food, staff was super friendly. Def gonna bring more friends here
Tonight I ordered out 3 soups for pick up. Came home and little bags BARELY had any meat… This has not happened before.. I spoke to a young lady on the phone and she tried to justify the amount of meat..first time
I ever complained.. in other words too badl.
My birthday dinner. The food is always soo good. I had the Ocean Seafood, which is a mixture of prawns, calamari, mussels, green & white onions, & egg in a golden tumeric cream sauce. I had them hold the jalapeno. It was delicious. I also had a Rose Prosecco. My partner had the Chicken & Prawns Noodle soup and a Guinness beer. Delicious, but I think mine was better. Sea Noodle is Yum❣️
One the nest asian Food in town.!
This place is one of my favorite places to eat out. Nice environment, great service, amazing food. Can be busy
Nice place for having food with friends or family. The indoor seating has good ambience, well spaced out. I ordered lemongrass noodle soup with prawns. I don’t like tomatoes in my soup but this soup converted me. Great flavorful soup with well cooked noodles and prawns. My friends really enjoyed their drunken noodles and entree dishes too.
Loved the food, the location and the staff
Good drinks food and service. They make interesting drinks with wine, champagne
and ginger beer.
better than sea thai, though no longer as good as once was. went for a couple of sirloin salads and the dressing was watered down and lacked the delicious flavor it had so many years before. still better than sea thai bistro somehow...
Loved the yellow curry chicken but didn’t like how they combined the rice with the curry in a large bowl. I thought it was a bit weird and I was super confused because I’ve never been to a place that combined both the rice and curry. It just ended up getting my rice all soggy.
This place is off the hook!! Everything is sooooo good!!
Came at around 4pm restaurant was empty to dine in took 45 min when no joke no other people where there we asked to make it to go we had go to leave at 5pm I couldn't wait I didn't know it takes 1 hour to make soup when restaurant was empty.
Stuff didn't care, and where like ok so make it to go? Customer service is just not strength of this place.
Very good! 🌟 great service! Awesome view and food was fantastic 10 out of 10 must go. 😍
Consistently great food. Did take out which was quick and easy.
Delicious food and fantastic service.
