A great restaurant for a spontaneous dinner stop on a Thursday night. We had the Salt and Pepper Tofu, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, Eggplant and Tofu, and Papaya Salad. I thought all the food was quite good. Interested in trying the other foods as well.

It would be nice if the restaurant offered the crushed Thai dry chilies to go with the food. I think it adds a different taste than the pepper flakes we were offered --- Maybe they were and I just didn't know. We didn't ask if they had fish sauce on the side, but IMO the food didn't need it.

Overall a good experience for the group.

Thai Taste is the best Thai food I've sampled in a long time. I had Pad Kee Mao ("Drunken Noodle"), not spicy. Portion was on the generous side. Veggie assortment was not exactly as listed in the menu description (bell pepper, green bean, carrot, cabbage, onion), as asparagus, broccoli, & zucchini were added, which was actually way better! I will be back soon with my family. Have to say that I was glad to have ordered take-out since there was quite a line inside waiting to be seated as the place is quite small. Food was ready to go and I was in and out quickly. Free parking lot on site, outdoor seating available, convenient location in that shopping center.

Had dinner few weeks ago. Ordered green and red curry, vegetable fried rice and basil chicken. The taste is excellent, portions are large and the dishes come with steamed rice which is a plus as compared to other restaurants where you have to pay extra. Service was excellent as well and this has become my new favorite Thai restaurant in the tri valley.

Food was excellent and service was superlative. They pamper their customers.

it’s our first time here for dinner. The service is fast and courteous. The foot is genuine high and delicious. Not too spicy if you request mild. We ordered the massuman chicken and the basil stirfry beef. They have many items on the manual compared those in Dublin and Pleasanton,so we did not have a chance to try all of them. The vegetarian choices is quite large.

Khao Soi & Panang are amazing. Highly recommend

sweet crispy chicken was dry, but other dishes (eggplant pork, pumpkin curry and pad see ewe) were delicious.

The food here is Always good!! I eat here several times a month. I recommend the yellow curry with chicken!

We had a wonderful experience at Thai Taste. We ordered the Avocado Green Curry with tofu, and Eggplant Basil with beef. You get to order the type of protein you want in each dish. We had jasmine rice to go with the curry. Both dishes were delicious!! The service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive, friendly and checked in a few times to see if we needed anything. The inside of the restaurant is very charming. I highly recommend Thai Taste for wonderful Thai food and service, and will definitely being going back to try more of their entrees.

I just had dinner tonight - June 27, 2024.The food was ok, but the waitress’ attitude was really really bad. I asked for the price since it’s different from the menu. Her response to me was very rude, no patience at all. She even blamed me for not opening my eyes and see the price clearly. I can’t accept this kind of customer service . I don’t want to go back again since I don’t want to deal with terrible customer service. This is my bad experience tonight. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

Overall good food, almost always short staffed regardless of takeout or dine in, you have to wait long for food.

American Thai food. The only problem is the food is too sweetness for me. The size is decent. The “window decoration” is very lovely.

This has become my go to spot for Drunken noodles in the tri-valley.

Ordered the Tom kha and cashew tofu. I will never order the cashew tofu ever again. I’ve had the same dish from dozens of different Thai restaurants and never in my life have I ever had not a single single cashew, not even a crumb of a cashew in the dish. All I got was a watery curry and some stir fried veggies. If you’re going to name a dish cashew nut tofu, add at least one cashew or name it something else if you’re charging someone 18 dollars for it.

Had lunch here. Service was excellent, got served almost immediately upon sitting down. Ordered the Pad Thai noodles luncheon special (w/soup). Food was excellent and well proportioned (not a cheap serving). Cup of soup was just over 1/2 filled, though (pet peeve of mine but I didn't mark off). If you are going to offer soup, fill the cup please?

Between the serving size, quality of the food and the great service, this is a must try if you haven't been here to eat.

I will say, their pricing is a bit steep. Most luncheon specials are $10 to $13 per plate (so, it is top end). But it's worth it. One of the best Thai restaurants I have eaten at. Reminds me a lot of "Sala Thai" in Fremont, which (in my opinion) is the best Thai place in the east bay.

Edit- Hadn't been here for just over four years, met a friend for lunch today [ate pad thai lunch special again]. Prices up, moderately and no more soup with lunch special. Food still good, although serving size has decreased noticeably. Service still good as well. Also, no more condiment/pepper tray - you get peppers in take out containers/weird. Decreased my rating from five to four stars. This place also uses a 'portable credit card' machine [for each table] and it seemed a bit clunky [really] and hard to gauge/leave a tip. Of course, it rounded up [minimum fifteen percent]. Don't really like this but many eating places utilizing this type of tech now.

Thai Taste is one of two good Thai restaurants in San Ramon. I like the Masaman Chicken. It's made using dark meat chicken pieces, which is how restaurants in Thailand prepare it. My wife ordered the yellow curry with chicken and it was delicious.

I’m usually a very liberal scorer but this place despite its popularity, is a true three star.
The food all tastes the same doesn’t matter what dish you order. My Panang Curry tasted the same as yellow and red curries.

Excellent Vegan options! We had the Veggie Samosas, Tom Yum with Tofu, Veggie Green Curry with Tofu. Everything was delicious and easily made Vegan as you can choose your protein for most dishes. The service was prompt and minimal wait time for food.

The folks here are rude and poor service. One lady kept starting and also delivered wrong food to wrong person.

It appears this restaurant is more friendly to Asian customers. We were ignored for over 1/2 hour waiting for one of our party’s food, after everyone else had been served. I won’t be back!

I had stopped eating pad thai over the years because it too sweet from other restaurants, my friend ordered it from here and i was so happy - the fish sauce came through, not too sweet - I thought it was the best i have had in a very long time.

This my Karen moment but I will no longer eat here again. LISTEN!! The service is incredulous. In context, this interaction was no longer than 20 seconds. I ordered a Thai tea and veggie stir fry. After I finished, the waitress brought me my receipt and I placed my credit card in the holder. About a minute later she came over with a portable card reader. She had my credit card in her hand while she held the terminal for me. The options on the screen from top left to bottom right were 18%, 20%, 22%, 25%, "No tip", and "custom". I pressed "No tip", she muttered, then quickly re-entered the total and showed me the same screen. I was confused with the interaction, so far thinking I made a mistake. I pressed "No tip" AGAIN. There is a language barrier and I thought she said it wasn't working. I was still lost and just said I needed a copy of the receipt so I could leave. I could not figure out her confusion or why she couldn't swipe my card. Very tensely, she then again quickly re-entered the total and showed me the tip screen. This time I pressed the custom tip thinking the machine was malfunctioning. She seemed happier and less tense. I pressed "1" and then enter. She said, "You want to tip a penny". I said, "Yes, I don't want to leave a tip" to reiterate my previous two choices. She then took the machine again and this time ran my card. She didn't say anything after that. That's when I figured out she was trying to force me to tip. Tipping is optional, not required. To the owners of the restaurant, I feel this reflects your management and your values towards customers very, very poorly.

Went with a group of friends. They love Thai food. I don't really like spicy food. But it was a great meal, prices were good, and we all had a very good time.

I felt so bad because the staff were so unfriendly. I asked for a plate, but I didn't want to tip because I felt bad while I was eating.

The food was very flavorful and the service was great. We tried the pad thai, tom yum, and pra ram chicken. We very much enjoyed them all. We had been curious about this place for a while and we are glad we decided to finally try it. We will be back.

Rude, Rude service , I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a good place to seat down and eat, maybe for to go " maybe " In my last visit the server came to my table asking if I wanted a box for to go, I still chowing my food and half of food on table, I felt totally uncomfortable getting rushed,. Ordered chicken curry and chicken and shrimp soup. The soup was not what I expected but I enjoyed both meals. Definitely worth the money. I also ordered the thai coffee. Very thick, semi sweet. Im not a coffee drinker, but I'm sure a coffee drinker would love it.

I cannot begin to explain how GREAT this Thai Restaurant was! The Thai Samosas, Drunken Noodles, and Tom Yum soup were delicious and great in portion — I highly recommend! The service and everyone who worked there were so lovely and welcoming. I look forward to coming again soon!

A very tasteful and flavorful Thai food. The pad Thai noodles, where one of the best pad Thai noodles I have had. It was such good we did a repeat order in same visit. The Mango Yellow Thai curry was also very flavourful. It had good enough veggies and Mango pieces. The service was also very nice our server/waiter was really polite and understanding and quick service. Surely our go to Thai place , until find something new and better.

You are charged $16 for a half box food that had such less serving! Every item is nauseatingly oily.
Never order for to go. Pad see eew was so less for $14. We felt cheated for $60+ for the amount and quality of food served here! Never again!

First time visiting this little gem since a friend recommended their catfish with garlic sauce. Although catfish was unavailable we still enjoyed the dish made with another fish filet as well as green payaya salad and eggplants with basil. Will definitely visit again

We visited Thai Taste Restaurant last week we were impressed by the quality of the food and good taste overall of the restaurant. It is also very inexpensive. They also very responsible towards their customers and public in general by asking everyone to show their Covid vaccine certificate before sitting at a table. It made us feel safe and cared for.

Tried their food for the first time today. Ordered vegetarian green curry with jasmine rice and a Thai iced tea. Thankfully, there was no hint at all of anything non-vegetarian, no aroma of fish sauce, shrimp paste, shrimp powder, oyster sauce etc., which is sometimes the case when you order vegetarian food at some Thai and Chinese restaurants. The curry was delicious with the vegetables retaining some crunchiness and the flavors were fresh and balanced. The portions are generous and enough for two people or for two meals. The iced tea was also great. I can't wait to try their other dishes!

Came here for lunch last Sunday. Our order came rather quickly. Everything we ordered was good. We particularly enjoyed the avocado spring roll. The peanut sauce reminded us of the satay sauce in SE Asia. Fried catfish with eggplant and basil was very good. It wasn't in the menu but the made it for us. We'll come back again.

I have tried their crab fried rice (with real crab) Pad Thai, avocado spring roll, and mango rice. The crab fried rice lasted 3 meals for me, and the pad Thai always lasts me 2. The flavors are unique and scrumptious.

I recommend ordering online. They are always on time according to the pick up time.

It's reasonable. Fills the belly and easy on the pocketbook. The hand sanitizer, on the other hand (or on both hands, if you can deal with the pun), leaves much to be desired. Or rather leaves too much to be desired. It has an extreme stench that permeates the mango yellow curry. I presume it penetrates your innards as well. Enjoy.

Fantastic find. A great little place for the ultimate Thai fix. Very friendly staff and food received as ordered. Perfect spice level (5 level is ideal for those that can handle a bit of extra punch and perspiration. Glad we found a place as our usual was one in Danville.

Its awful place. Not sure, how they got rating. Ordered some pineapple fries rice and pad Thai. Pad Thai bodies was ok and fried rice was literally stale. They have given some thing.live previous days food. Unfortunately I wasn't able to feed kids this food..have to arrange some other alternative.. don't waste your money on this...

Excellent food and very friendly staff. The rib-eye thai basil is totally beyond delicious!!!

This was such an amazing choice and I hope more people go to this place! I ordered the wraps and the mango curry and will definitely be getting this again. The service was incredibly fast and They were really nice. I recommend going here!

I tried the crab fried rice and I’m not sure why the call it crab🤔I didn’t taste any.

Really nice staff but not good food at all. Chicken satay dry and rubbery. Not much flavor and so much oil with all items ordered.
