Try their Thai curries. One of the more ordinary dish which I don’t recommend is chicken satay.

This was our second time ordering from Cha Thai and it was even better than the last time.
My favorite was Pad See Ew with beef. The flavors were fantastic and at medium heat it was perfect.
I still enjoyed the Basil Eggplant a great deal. Something about Thai basil is amazing.
Tom Kha was excellent. Very creamy and fresh with plenty of chicken, cabbage and tomatoes. The flavors were terrific.
Will definitely order food again.

Pad thai and drunken noodles were very good. I liked their Basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice. We asked for soft tofu instead of fried one in fried rice dishes. They made sure we got that. Quality was pretty good.

Overall the food was very good. Specially Eggplant Basil. The Pad Thai was very good as well. Mango salad was amazing, we loved it.
The potstickers were okay, but really tasted like they were the already frozen kind that were heated. The eggrolls were trouble. They were mushy on the inside, very doughy.
Overall I recommend this place and we will definitely go there again however I hope they do a better job with the appetizers.

The food came out piping hot and very flavorful. We had crispy calamari, angel crispy shrimps, basil-pad kra pow thai spicy with chicken and pad thai with shrimp and chicken. A nice hidden gem in San Ramon

Food tasted good , we ordered the eggplant basil & garlic pepper stir fry shrimp . My only complaint is the amount of shrimp wasn’t enough especially when you add $3 extra . Other than that i would eat here again . The lady who served us was great& checked on us couple of times asking if we need anything.

Omg soooooo delicious 😋 the lady that served us I think her name is Maani super sweet and friendly. Great service cute little restaurant. Food is amazing even the Thai tea ! Will drive down here from Oakley just to eat here.

Pathetic experience with To GO. Cheated us by not giving mushrooms , chestnut or baby corn in Veggie delight in spite of putting in menu. Upon requesting, they put the phone down disrespectfully. Also fried rice didn’t have Tofu even though mentioned while placing order. Don’t get To go as they use not knowing English as an excuse.

Ordered: Thai fried rice (no meat), orange chicken, and 6 fried shrimp.

Thai fried rice:
gummy, no flavor. Very bland.

Orange chicken:
Just yucko🤮. Not freshly made. Fried chicken tastes like it was precooked from frozen. Sauce was clumpy and only taste like a sweet and sour sauce pack. No other flavors. Veggies (carrots) though sliced thin where big slices (distracting while eating). It comes with white rice and even that taste like yesterday's rice...

Oh and then theres...

The fried shrimp:
VERY gummy. The panko like batter was like eating raw dough. Though it was crunchy on the outside it was chewy on the inside and un appetizing. The shrimp was equally as gummy. Ate 1 and won't be eating the other 5.

I think the reviews are paid reviews because anyone with any tastebuds would steer clear away from this place. I hope they re work their dishes.

I won't be back, though. I can grab the same Thai dishes from the frozen section at the Lucky's grocery store across from them. (With better textures/flavor and quality) 🤮 🤮

We were visiting from out of town. We decided to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. So glad we did. We ordered spring rolls larp beef salad and basil fried rice. Everything was delicious. Fresh vegetables and great flavors. Our waitress Manee was just awesome!!!

I ordered takeout through DoorDash and when I went in to pick up the order, the woman at the register said that their system was down but they prepared my food right away after I showed her the order details. The restaurant gave me a free soft drink on the house for the inconvenience.
I ordered the vegetarian panang curry and it was amazing. It was rich, full of flavor, and super filling despite it being vegetarian. I highly recommend this place. Nice atmosphere and great customer service!

The woman who served me was so nice and the Basil Fried Rice with Pork that I ordered was so delicious I couldn’t put it down for a second. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Poor customer service - they need to hire more staff!
They have one old lady taking orders and serving the tables! So sad! they never answer phone for phone orders — as only 1 human has to do it all!

Waiter got no clue how to serve customers. Food is very average, don't expect too much from this place. Ordered medium grilled steak, got well-done with minimal caramelization. The manager handled it professionally and saved one star from the review.

We ordered red curry and Pineapple fried rice (both vegetarian) and was blown away by the taste and quality!!! Amazing restaurant and a must-visit if you are into Thai food!

Food is underwhelming. Paid Thai was good. Satay was ok. Red curry was not good.

Too expensive and didn’t give the white rice with the green curry I paid for in the order .. very bad service .. we had nothing to eat the green curry with as the rice was not packed in the order ..

Ordered food through GrubHub, restaurant confirmed then cancelled just at the same time the food was supposed to be delivered. I ordered around 6pm and they cancelled the order at 7:15.

Ordered a take out for the first time seeing the good reviews but was disappointed! First they forgot to give the Thai iced teas that I ordered. And asked to come next time to get them. Second, the food was not good. Not an authentic Thai place. The red curry had no taste! Would not recommend this place.

Best Thai food EVER! Mani is always so attentive and precise. She knows our order perfectly and it never fails to disappoint us. The portions are very generous. We usually order the cashew nut delight with egg fried rice and eggplant basil with brown rice. The pad Thai is also very good. We only go here for Thai food! Highly recommend them!

Yellow curry is amazing. Better than my own.

The dine-in area was pretty empty on a weekday evening. The food was great, and the lady serving us was super nice. The price range is comparable to that of other Thai restaurants in the area.

Best Thai in Dublin. I eat there almost every week. Small friendly staff, and wonderful Thai chilis in fish sauce on the side. Like "Thai hot"? You can get it here!

Very sad to be moving away from my favorite Thai restaurant. Their Thai beef salad is addicting and has converted quite a few people on its own. The staff is wonderful and very nice. Definitely stop by if in town.

Tried the Pad Thai a couple days ago - good portion size and balanced seasoning, a good value. Today, I tried the basil eggplant with beef - very tasty, but I’ll order chicken or shrimp next time (beef a bit tough). The green curry with chicken was well-balanced, the perfect comfort food. Note that you can select the level of spiciness for every dish. The order was freshly made and ready every time I ordered through DoorDash. I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes!

7/3/21 Update: best dishes - Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodles, Eggplant Basil, Green Curry. Not bad - spring roll, banana sweet rice, basil pad kra pow.

Ordered Doordash and food came fast, and delicious!!
Only complaint is the cheapest fork and spoon you could find :-(
$25 dollars for lunch they should be able to provide decent utensils to eat with!!!

Found a hidden gem in San Ramon. Quiet, family run restaurant with tasty Thai food. We enjoyed the Spring rolls, pad Thai, kra prow, mango salad, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious, presented well, and with excellent service. We will be back soon!

Went for lunch with a friend. Awesome location, right off the freeway. Quite roomy with lots of natural light. Friendly staff - advised us on portions and spice selection. My Shrimp Green Curry was tasty and so was the brown rice and Thai tea. Heard they have new management. Will definitely go again.

During my current stay in San Ramon visited this restaurant along with the family. I was delighted to find the real test of Thai food, soup ,tea & dessert as well.
I shall surely visit this restaurant again.Will highly recommend specially for Thai cuisine.

Cha Thai restaurant I was actually in the shopping center for a different reason and had already eaten so I didn't get a chance to eat here but if I were to be hungry I would have eaten here first. Cuz I love Thai food and this looks like a great Thai food restaurant that's why I give it five stars without even trying it plus I read some of the other reviews from the people that review places. Are the best people to get your reviews from. And if you like the reviews always give him a thumbs-up that's always at 4. They were very nice they let me in to take some pictures It's A very upscale place if I lived in that area I'm sure this would be one of my favorite places.

Pad thai is my go to!

Loved the spring rolls in fresh wraps. Friend ordered shrimp soup and moved it. The portions was pretty big. I had Thai red curry and it was great as well. The server forgot one of our orders and later messed up with the cheque receipts. He was probably just having a bad day otherwise the place is good. Highly recommend to give it a try.

Some of the food was salty but the BBQ pork with rice was really good. The calimari was a bit chewy but overall it was good.

Disappointing. Pad thai noodles were all stuck together and not the thicker noodles that expected but more like vermicelli. Sauce tasted like ketchup. Thai basil chicken, where's the chicken? Sparse amounts of it. Catfish dish was one filet of catfish with carrots and red bell peppers . Overall, unimaginative that food.

We eat thai food, Andaman, Thai Basil, Simalan, a lot and this restaurant is by far the worst.

Pad thai noodles were very chewy could hardly swallow them. If I was not with my 3 yo niece I would have had the dish sent back and perhaps get something else. My niece wouldn't be able to sit that long.

Food is delicious, very fresh-i ordered the red curry chicken soup, and there were tiny pieces of lemongrass and ginger in the broth. Perfectly cooked veggies in my partner's pad see ew-no precubed mushy stuff!!
Service is a little slow, but we were there mid-afternoon and they had a skeleton crew staff on.
