Thai Spice has been opened on Polk St., San Francisco since 1989, but the new chapter began in January 2022.
The newly renovated dining room welcomes you with a contemporary setting and warm, vibrant atmosphere. Our authentic Thai food will definitely make you feel like eating in Thailand. Also, we offer both delivery and takeout for your convenience.
You can rely on Thai Spice for a delicious foray into everything you love about Thai food. Thai Spice provides a comforting and satiating respite while you tour the city. We're located near the California Street Cable Car stop in Polk Gulch and with easy access by public transportation from anywhere in San Francisco.
The decor and ambience are quite tasteful. The prices are reasonable & portions ample. My friend and I loved our dishes & the Thai Iced Coffee (nice & strong). Our other friend found the pad Thai extremely sweet- we had a sample & agreed. We felt sorry for the server as she was the only person working besides the cooks and it was one hour. I would definitely return here and try something else on the menu.
I recently dined at Thai Spice for dinner and had another amazing experience! We ordered the Pad Thai, Egg Plant Basil, and Roti Dip, which were served alongside delicious yellow curry paste. The pancakes were crispy, tender, and had the perfect stretchiness to them. The Thai-style eggplants were also a hit. This was my second visit to Thai Spice, and the food has consistently been exceptional. The ambiance is elegant, and since we went early in the evening, it was a quiet and pleasant dining experience. The servers were friendly, although they didn't check in very frequently. Overall, I highly recommend Thai Spice for delicious Thai cuisine in a lovely setting!"
This was a great experience. We checked 2 other Thai restaurants in the area before we picked this one. At entry, we felt good. Well designed and clean. We selected two appetizers and two entrees. Each one tasted so good and very different in ingredients and taste. We loved it. I have 4 stars, and I wish there’s 4.5 stars only due to having impersonal service. It was like drop and go without a word. It would have completed the good experience here if the servers could’ve said something.
All ingredients tasted so fresh. I would come back again for sure. Please check the photos I posted here to see what we ordered.
Great Food, Fast Service, and Lively Vibes!
Thai Spice is such a fun spot! The place always has a great energy—lots of people, delicious smells coming from the kitchen, and a lively atmosphere that makes dining here exciting. The service is super fast and efficient, but still warm and friendly. Even when it’s busy, the staff keeps everything running smoothly and makes sure you’re taken care of.
And of course, the food is amazing! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Thai food!
Great, cozy, and chic Thai restaurant right in the middle of all the action on Polk Street. Wait time wasn’t bad at all. Food was incredible! I ordered the Khao Soi which was amazing! Got to try a bit of the Gra Prow fried rice, Roti Dip, and the Drunken Noodles - both were delectable as well. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice Thai restaurant, with friends, family, or as a date night spot.
Absolutely loved the ambiance and the charming antique Thai vibe of this place! I’m all about bold flavors, and bland just won’t cut it.
I ordered the Khao Soi with tofu and veggies, and the curry was bursting with flavour(not too intense but subtle and delicious). Even the tofu was marinated perfectly—it tasted amazing! I also tried the Crab Rangoon, which was creamy and delicious (kinda like samosa stuffed with crab meat and a dreamy creamy sauce).
Definitely coming back for that Khao Soi!
Don’t be fooled by the interior design and food plating of this place. Cute restaurant but portion sizes were too small considering the price. My friend and I ordered a tom yum soup and ba mhee ped-yang. Total was $50 including tip and we were no where near full. The tom yum was too salty for my liking and not hot enough. By 10 minutes, the soup had gone cold. The duck noodles (ba mhee ped yang) was medicore, there wasn’t enough noodle and the seasoning was too salty as well. There are better Thai restaurants in SF.
Bankie had amazing customers service!! She was super sweet, gave great recommendations for the menu, and did not rush us at all! Would definitely come back here for the great service and delicious food!
Didn't expect such a great dinner spot by the nob hill area. Thai spice is a hidden gem! My friends and I stumbled upon this adorable spot for dinner via Yelp, and we were blown away by the delicious food and top-notch service.
Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured our glasses were always full.
Good spot for authentic Thai food.
we were there last night with friends. and food is amazing. the service was great as well. we be back to try more dishes.
Great Thai food in San Francisco.
We were there last night for dinner with my family.
The godo was worth the wait. Make sure ñot order too spicy since their chilly is real hot.
Our servers are good and friendly.
This place will become our favorito thai spot in SF.
Good food, great service
We came here tonight. It was very busy and the server is very enthusiastic. She try to seat us as soon as possible. The food came out fast and very delicious. The service is very great due to the busy hours. I ordered Khao Soi and Massamun beef roti which is the popular dishes here. It’s very tasty and I would recommend this dish to everyone. Good job for the server. If you need more time to sit down in the restaurant I recommend come earlier and keep in mind that it’s always busy on Friday and Saturday nights.
We visited the restaurant today, and it was incredibly busy. The food arrived promptly and tasted delicious. The server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.
We will definitely be back!!

Great food, poor service! We had Pad Thai and Curry and it was very tasty!
Unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. We just had finished our entree when the server gave us the check and told us to make room for people with a reservation (we also had one). We didn’t even get to finish our drinks or had the chance to order dessert even though we intended to.
When we mentioned that we weren’t even in the restaurant for more than 45 min we were told to care less about ourselves but to care about others and that more people want dinner.
I understand if a restaurant is busy since I worked as a waitress for years myself, but I would’ve never talked to a customer like this.
I might order take out since I really liked the food. But I will definitely not dine in again.
Service no good
The service was topnotch, and I did love my drunken noodle with prawns dish, but the rest of the food was lackluster or worse. The massaman beef curry was too sweet and had way too much cinnamon. Tasted like a cinnamon roll with beef. Not good. The appetizers and mocktails were suspect as well.

Our go to Thai spot in our neighborhood, so far haven’t had one bad experience or dish here.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai spice , and I must say it was a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is welcoming, The restaurant itself is beautiful decoration
Special Padkapao beef with fried egg, Khoi soi beef, Crab rangoon and Massaman beef Roti curry was pretty good. I very enjoyed with it.
Overall, Whether you're in the mood for a casual bite or a special night out, this spot delivers top-notch food, good service, and a cozy yet stylish atmosphere.
4.5? Are you kidding me? 5 stars all the way
This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been too. Kao pad gra prow- mun nuer hands down the best dish here. But EVERYTHING eas amazing and the spices and flavors were beyond. Must try.
Amazing flavors!!! A must try!!
Must try the eggplant dish, it was the best I have ever had!! Definitely a must try!! Along with the roti dip , the sauce that comes with it is addicting!!
Note to vegetarians: The pad thai and red and green curries are made with fish sauce!
I was expecting the drunken noodles to have more flavor and sauce, for me it was just spicy, and a lil dry, but I still ate most of it by adding some soy sauce. They also added whole tomatoes to the dish which I didn’t expect so beware of that and order without it if you don’t like it!
The kids had Pad See Ew with tofu and enjoyed it without any complaints so definitely can be kid friendly!
Good place for Thai cuisine.
We had Drunken Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice and Yellow curry (due to Vegetarian restrictions options were limited). Food taste and the atmosphere inside restaurant was good.
Food was bland and flavorless. Hard pass.
Single server is very rude and neglected to be helpful in any way. Waited for food for more than an hour. In line, guy completely ignores me for the next customer. Wish I could give them a good review but left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. Despite the food being fine
Delicious food but we were charged large party fee (20 dollars) and we were only three (3) . My family ( came from another country did not know and paid while I was in WC and they realized too late ) I want compensation on my next arrival.
Hard to find better Kao Soi. Super consistent too.
Probably the best Thai food I've ever had
Great food !!
Service was good, but otherwise not a good experience. The dish and cocktail were not good, including the meat being cold in the center, indicating it was warmed and not recently cooked. Also, the glass of water I was served was broken.
The saddest part about moving away from my old apartment? Losing walking-distance access to Thai Spice. This place is the definition of a reliable, go-to spot where the food always hits.
I’m talking Pad Thai that’s perfectly saucy, Green Curry that’s creamy and just the right level of spicy, and Chicken Satay that feels like it was marinated in magic. And let’s not forget the Fresh Spring Rolls—a little bundle of refreshing perfection to kick things off.
The portions are generous, the flavors are consistently amazing, and the food somehow travels well for takeout (a miracle in the world of soggy delivery). Whether you’re dining in or doing a lazy night on the couch, they’ve got you covered.
Is it life-changing? Maybe not. But does it make me feel like everything is right in the world after a single bite of their curry? Absolutely. Thai Spice is the comforting, dependable neighborhood gem we all need in our lives.
The decor and ambience are quite tasteful. The prices are reasonable & portions ample. My friend and I loved our dishes & the Thai Iced Coffee (nice & strong). The place was quite full and I went there alone and got a table which I think was very nice. I ordered a Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice and it was served very quickly. Food was okay but not outstanding or particularly authentic. The staff was very busy and tried to be as friendly as it gets. Overall, not a great food experience but I left satisfied.
Got extremely sick and food poisoning. Pls avoid at all cost
Love their Food. My Favourite Restaurant.
Recently came here and we ordered a bunch of stuff, and every item was delicious. Being from LA there are plenty of Thai restaurants here as well but the drunken noodles at this restaurant was the real deal! They are not skimping on the spice, it's actually there!
The food was good, but nothing special. The cocktails are very yummy. However, we had a reservation at 6pm and they wanted us out of there by 7pm. What kind of reservation is only for 1 hour? Don’t make a reservation here if you want to spend time to enjoy dinner with your friends. They also put an auto 20% gratuity on our bill :/
Come here for average Thai food and ordinary service - what kind of restaurant close at 2pm on a Friday?
Great food, quick service and spacious, clean dining space.
My server decreased the pleasure of my experience.
excellent food. loved the roti appetizer and the drunken noodles.
Love this place! Their green curry is one of my comfort foods in town.
Took my boyfriend and best friend there and everyone loved the atmosphere.
The service is very attentive. The restaurant is always full but getting a table walk in is possible.
Khao soi is pretty good
Boat noodles and pad Thai are just ok
I enjoyed the yellow curry, which is the only one they can make vegan
I ordered a mild pad thai and a medium spice pad see ew, and they mixed up the spice levels: so we got a spicy pad thai.
Food and service was amazing!!
Bankie was the best server! She was so attentive and we felt so welcomed!
delicious food.. fun friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
My wife ordered drunken noodles. My girlfriend ordered red curry. Drunken noodles were great, red curry was Ok. Want to bring my whole polycule here next time!
The food is delicious, I had the tofu green curry and also tried the pad Thai. The place also has a nice decor
pad kee mao is pretty good, i like that it’s chicken chunks not ground chicken, medium spicy is very spicy w/o option for mild. chicken satay is a bit dry
Food is too westernized. No one asked if we need cutlery or chopsticks. There was no chili sauce available. It was very loud inside.
Not exaggerating - Thai spice deserves a Michelin star. Most consistent and delicious Thai food in the Bay Area.
One picky Thai food lover and this place checks all the boxes! Superb food/extensive menu/great portions. Absolutely the best Thai in the city. So sick of the bland tasteless stuff from SO MANY Thai places in SF. Grew up on this food in So Cal where I didn’t realize was hard to match until I moved up here. I was desperate!! AND they deliver!!! LOVE you guys. ♥️
Outstanding experience. The food was delicious and the vegetables were prepared perfectly. My server Mary was kind, welcoming and I will come back for more of her recommendations.
The food is pretty good here, but the service is TERRIBLE unfortunately. Went here a couple of times on the weekend. It is usually busy but nothing too crazy. The server took our order, someone else brought the food to our table and we haven't seen anybody since. I asked for some spicy sauce from a different server (because ours was MIA) and she just completely ignored us. Nobody came by to ask how is the food and if we wanted to order more food, more drinks or desert. When it came to pay they brought the machine to pay for the bill and asked if we want more water. no thanks we already leaving.. would be nice if someone tried to refill it earlier.. overall went here 3 times and all 3 times service was really bad.. this could be a great place if they trained their stuff on how to be nice and serve the clients.
I’ve been here 3-5 times now, and I’ve always been taken aback by the rudeness and callousness of the staff here. They have messed up my orders a couple of times, snapped at me when I requested for a change, and purposely made my mom and I wait for an hour. Maybe they are just stressed but they have gone out of their way to make me feel unwelcome and embarrassed.
Not what you would want for a sit down dinner or a pickup
The food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The Cashew Nut Chicken is a must try!!! The smokiness of the Drunken noodle with beef was delightful! This will be a staple the next time we visit SF!!
1. Tom Yum Chicken soup = 5/5
2. Yellow Curry Chicken = 4/5 (carrots and potato were under cooked.
3. Mango Sticky Rice = 3/5 (mango was sour and hard (not ripe).
Waiter didn't seem to care.
It's very noisy making it difficult to talk.
I asked them to make the Pad Thai spicy, and the result was just phenomenal. Best Thai food I've had in a long time.
Panang curry and cashew chicken were phenomenal. Even their Pad Thai was really good!
delicious food! pad kee mao (drunken noodles) w tofu is amazing. didn’t like the crab rangoon and i’m mostly just putting this so i remember not to order it next time. i’ll be back!
We went to celebrate graduation here with friends! It’s pretty empty and service was slow. Just 2 people running around for everything. We ordered cocktails which were ok, nothing great. Food came in quickly. Roti dip, chicken satay, knockout wings, crispy roll Appetizers were good. Main course we ordered spicy but the dishes came in with extreme spicy that we couldn’t eat. The mango sticky rice was ok with sour and raw mangoes. We will not be coming back here anytime soon.
One of the best thai food I’ve had in long time.
Our first stop after dropping our suitcases at the hotel. Got the pad Thai tofu and nam tok. Everything was pretty tasty. The service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back. The only thing I didn’t like is our Thai iced tea was in a small jar. Not a full glass. Otherwise everything else was great.
Great food, beautiful decor, tasty Thai dishes with modern a twist. There are only two servers on the Friday night that we visited. Kudos to them but the service is quite limited with used dishes started piling up right at our table. Had Tom yum soup, crab Rangoon and basil chicken. Tom yum is excellent but you'll need to like it on the spicy side. If you are in the Polk Street neighbor, you should give this place a try! 🥳🎉🙌🏻🤩
I got there at 11:30 AM. There were already people waiting outside. The server was very sweet and kind and he made some great suggestions. I had the pad Thai with duck and it was absolutely delicious and the food came out really fast. I had a little side of pork belly that was also delicious crispy And not dry. I would definitely go again. The four stars for atmosphere is just nitpicking because the cushion on the bench were pretty worn out and a little bit uncomfortable but the food and service were amazing.
This place always seems very packed, so I was fired up to try it, but I was not very satisfied with the food. To be honest, everything tasted so sweet, it was overpowering at times. But there’s good things to every dish which I’ll point out as well.
- To start with, the shrimp fresh rolls had very little shrimp in it, it felt like you were mainly eating lettuce. But peanut sauce was warm, and tasted good, but I wouldn’t recommend it still.
- The pad Thai was cooked well in terms of texture, but this is where the food started to start tasting sweet. Very little sourness or spiciness at all
- Sadly, the Massaman beef roti was the let down of the night. This curry was so sweet it tasted like candy to me. I tried adding a lot of spice to it to help balance it out on my own, but overall it just wasn’t it. The beef short rib was cooked well, but overall the roti was the best thing on the plate. The sweet carrots didn’t help either.
There was a constant, overpowering sweet flavor throughout the entire meal that I couldn’t get past from the peanut sauce, to
The pad Thai, to the curry, it just kept piling on and eventually made it not enjoyable. I’ve been to many Thai places before and usually it’s the balance of flavor notes (salty, sour, spicy, sweet and bitter) that makes the cuisine so unique. However Thai Spice restaurant didn’t have that for me.
To credit them, the dishes themselves were cooked well in terms of the proteins and textures, ie nothing was overcooked. The inside is very nice, service is prompt. But the food just ain’t it for me, and I expected more given its reviews and pricing which is why I wouldn’t personally come back here.
Fantastic food, great service. The curries are better than the boats but the boats are still fantastic
The servers were friendly, although they didn't check in very frequently. Overall, I highly recommend Thai Spice for delicious Thai cuisine in a lovely setting!"
Cant praise the food enough! Super delicious Khao Soi, Crispy Crab Rangoon(Wantons) and tasty Drunken noodles made our day.
The service was very quick. Decor is very cute and subtle. The place is small and crowded. Not suitable for peaceful gatherings but the food is absolutely worth the chaos. There is atleast 15 min waiting time on weekend dinners.
Visiting from Atlanta, and probably tried the best drunken noodles I have ever had. The spice, the taste, the aroma, the texture, everything was perfect. Definitely going back!
A great neighborhood restaurant, quality ingredients transformed into tasty dishes.
Walked in randomly and was surprised by their great food. Friendly staff. Good value. Does not apply the "SF Ordiance Healthy Mandate" fee.
Cute restaurant, staff was good, but was disappointed in the food. The food was decent, but nothing super special and kinda flavorless. Not somewhere I'd put on the list to go back to.
Cute place and the food is sooooo yummy!
Deliciosa comida
We love Thai Spice.
This is one of the good Thai places in SF.
They have good enough options for vegetarians. (No egg, no meat, no fish sauce)
What we tried here:
Tom Kha Soup
Drunken Noodles
Yellow Curry(Vegetarian on request)
Green curry (Non Vegetarian)
The quantity served was good for two if you both have limited capacity.
The ambience of this place is really cozy and if you visit this place at a non crowded hour or dinner, you’ll have a calming experience.
I love the fresh rolls with shrimp so much I get them once a week no joke. Khao soi is mine and my boyfriends other favorite dish. Best we’ve ever had. Also love the red and green curry !!!
The Khao Soi is from another world!
All ingredients tasted so fresh. I would come back again for sure. Please check the photos I posted here to see what we ordered.
I liked the food so much and strongly recommended for everyone:-)
Nice place , friendly staff, ordered Yellow curry, it was delicious. They have lots of vegetarian options.
Food: 4-5/5
Service: 5/5
Ambiance: Nice casual
Value: 4/5
Ordered the Khao Soi, Mhoo Palo, and the Angry Basa. I was pleasantly surprised with the basa and it was probably my favorite dish. It's a softer breading with a good blend of flavors from garnishes. It wasn't a blow your mind first bite, but it was that comfort food "mmmm" taste to me. The Khao Soi is exactly how it should be. The Mhoo Palo is similar to Chinese "hong shao rou" and while it was quite good, I probably wouldn't order again.
Value-wise, the menu is priced similar to other Thai restaurants in SF in the same tier of quality.
Would come back again to try more dishes. I had a pleasant first experience.
We ate at Thai Spice on our first night of our 4 day stay in San Francisco and it was great. Delicious, fresh food, very good service in a great atmosphere.
Because we were so excited, we returned on our last evening despite the number of other welcoming restaurants and experienced terrible service. Less than 60 seconds after we were served the appetizer and starter soup, the main course was brought to us. Without comment, without a word, the bowls were placed somewhere on our table, which was richly set with starters, and our starter plates were moved in the process. We now had to choose which dish we wanted to eat cold.
During the meal, waitresses constantly came and, without speaking, collected plates and bowls that they thought we no longer needed.
However. The food was again tasty, but only to a limited extent in this atmosphere.
Since we didn't feel comfortable and the service was poor, we adjusted the tip. The waitress stood impatiently with the credit card machine during the payment process. When I was almost finished, she pulled the device away without a word and disappeared. Today I read on my credit card statement that a 20% tip was charged, which I didn't give.
I have never experienced such bad and outrageous behavior in a restaurant.
Actually the food was great. I liked it. What I did not like, though, was watching the server wearing gloves clear the table, grabbing a rag to clean it, then grabbing silverware and napkins all witouth changing gloves and later bring our food with the thumb in the plates...and same gloves.
Hopefully, someone can train servers how to handle situations involving dirty/ clean plates, utensils
Never had more rude service
Great tasting Thai cuisine, The staff were also very friendly. Thanks.
Expensive , overcharged. .
The Khao Soi and the Roti Palata is absolutely fantastic. Great ambience and decor too!
the food is reasonably good, but in a competitive city for thai food, it feels quite 'localized' -- generally dishes are not served in a shareable way, for instance. If you ask for it spicy, you can expect it to be a little bit spicy, anyway, but you do have to ask
Surprised to see such high ratings. I ate here with 4 other people. After we had appetizers, 3 entrees came out, and it took another 20 minutes for the 4th entree to come. The 5th entree was forgotten, but they didn’t realize it until we asked about it twice. This took even more time, and it came out last. No one seemed to know what was going on and when we asked about the missing entrees, a staff member would just say “yeah it’s coming” - not acknowledging the long delay or apologizing. The food was decent but the Pad Thai was far overdone on the tamarind.
When they brought the check they again did not acknowledge the issue, nor remove any of the late/forgotten items from the bill. They told us that there is an included gratuity for parties of 5 or more and that is was on the bill. I asked the manager if they felt the service and forgotten meals warranted any changes to the bill, which they declined. This was very disorganized and poor service quality, which is surprising because the restaurant was about 75% full.
Truly good Thai restaurant, curry consistency is just right and noodles cooked to the right level. High quality ingredients
Nice little place, great atmosphere and the menu has some nice Thai infusion options.
The food and the service was amazing. We loved each and every bite
Good
We took two main, and after thos teo drink and a dessert. In one of the two dishes there was a lot of cinnamon and it did not say so in the menu. Furthermore, after only 45 minutes we were asked to pay, while I was still finishing my drink, after 5 minutes i left for the restroom and they came again. Terrible treatment and service. Also there were many tables and spot available, and people who came before us were still seated.
Customer service needs work!
Great food
Tasty pad Thai and curry, and lots of interesting cocktail options too! The chicken satay and crispy rolls are also great!
In a rainy and cold day in San Francisco, come by to enjoy delicious, heartwarming Thai cuisine at Thai Spice.
I took the Chef Special Khao Soi, what a joy! Finally, a good spicy (not too much) cury. The service is excellent, less than 10mn to get my order. Really enjoyed it, I will definitely recommend this place.
good
Amazing food & customer service! The cocktails were delicious & the food was out of this world.
I will mark this as a staple Thai spot in San Francisco with reservations available.
I've only ordered once so far, but the dishes I ordered (Khao Soi, Larb) had fantastic sour notes, texture, spice and seasoning beyond the typical stir fry, "basil" and/or baseline curry flavors. I am excited to order from them again.
This place is good high quality I got the fried rice special that had rib eye steak on it, I would not recommend the kao soi tho the curry was just a light buttery dasting and just tasted nothing like a northern Thailand kao soi unfortunately everything els is great tho !
The food reaches the standard of well-prepared Thai. Use of quality ingredients is apparent in clean taste. The price point, however, seems to cover more for the cleverly designed West Elm-meets-Bangkok interior rather than an above-and-beyond menu.
Thai Boat Noodle Soup, as expected — nothing above or below ordinary. Crispy Roll, not so different from regular vegetarian egg rolls. All together, $30 before tax and tip.
A nice option for a slightly elevated Thai experience that doesn’t necessarily break the bank; but a bit pricey still.
Z całą pewnością mogę rekomendować to miejsce za bardzo dobre. Jakość jedzenia, składniki, przyprawy są genialne. Wszystko świeże i smaczne. Czerwone curry obłędne oraz przystawki. Słodki sos z orzechów przepyszny. Bardzo ładny wystrój i co najważniejsze gra cicho muzyka, można się zrelaksować i porozmawiać. Polecam
The food is amazing, try the Drunken Noodle in Spicy if you are ok with it, tastes better. The portions are great and they don’t hold back on the goodies. The mule was also good.
-1 star: our friends order did not arrive until all other three of us had finished eating.
-1 star: it was impossible to get something to drink after initial order because nobody was coming to check on the table, waving them down was not easy as well.
Fantastic Thai food with the usual options as well as some interesting and tasty chef specials that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Def not spicy but I’m sure they would add heat if you ask!
It’s hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. The chef brings very authentic North Thai taste to the dishes. We ordered khao soi and drunken noodles, both were absolutely delicious.
Excellent Thai food, one of the best we've had.
Favourite restaurant in San Fran✌🏻
We had a wonderful and delicious dinner yesterday. The service was very friendly and very attentive. The food of excellent quality and very delicious. The restaurant is highly recommended. Thanks a lot to the whole team!
Came in close to closing time, but still have plenty of time as I am easy. First thing the person says is we close in 30 minutes. Not hello. Okay. Let me order quickly. So because he was rushing everyone including me I ordered the wrong soup. Didn’t realize until I ordered. I even said to him stop rushing me. I ordered extra same vegetables as was in the curry was brought something else. It was just a disappointing experience. I usually order from doordash but wanted to eat in person at my favorite curry place. Definitely will not be back. But the food is good.
Unbelievable experience. Food is unmatched.
OVERALL: 4/5
Food: 5/5
Service: 3/5
Ambiance: 5/5 - Clean & Fresh
The food was absolutely amazing. The best Thai food I have eaten in the city.
We had
- Samosa - Crispy and piping hot. Served with a sweet cucumber/onion salad
- Drunken Noodles - We had the vegetable version. Delicious!
- Spicy Basil Chicken - Minced chicken and bell peppers. Yummy!
- Green Curry - Vegetable version. So light and fragrant.
For such a wonderful place, it was unfortunate that the service was not up to par with the food and ambiance. They seemed under staffed as the service was very slow and distracted. They forgot one of the item we ordered (and did not apologize for it). Overall the lack of good service took away from the entire experience. I hope they can correct this issue as I love the food.
9-14-2023 - Dinner - Table for 3
Omg absolutely the best in the SF area!! Must try!! We got 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and shared between 4 of us. Perfect. Well done!!
