We went all in on green curry, and first got the one Waan curry noodles, which were very flavorful!

We asked for chili sauce, and they brought out the best chili plate we’ve seen at a Thai restaurant, featuring three distinct options (prik pon chili powder, chili sauce, and cut Thai chilis)

With all of that in hand, we also ordered the green curry fried rice! The fried was good, though not as great as the noodles

Everyone there was always smiling, checking in on and us, and collectively waved bye to us on the way out, which gave a warm feeling all around!

Meeting friends at Glen Park for lunch, this restaurant is a great option. It’s not too noisy, easy access by BART (right across from the station), street parking is not challenging and it is not difficult to get a table. People who worked there were pleasant and happy to serve. Every dish looks beautiful (see photos attached),

We ordered drinks, Larb Gai, Satay, Drunken noodles, One Waan curry noodles, Spicy cat fish and rice. My favorite was Drunken Noodles with Beef. They use Angus beef. It was juicy and cooked just right. Other dishes were great as well. But I have had too many Pad Thai so this would be my favorite noodle
dish.

With the positive experience we had @ One Waan,I highly recommend this place. And definitely, we will be back again.

High prices now but half-size servings with overcooked meat and undercooked veggies! Haven't eaten here in years, so didn't expect bland Tom Kha soup with overcooked chicken and Red curry with over-cooked, tasteless pork, under-cooked eggplant, and bland, non-spicy curry--what little they gave me. This place is awful now! $48 with delivery and without a tip was way too expensive for two common Thai dishes! This was the worst Thai I've eaten! Even the cheapest places in Thailand are better than this. Skip it! You will spend way too much money for bad food that will leave you still hungry!

The service is excellent. We got seated right away despite it being a busy night. The food didn't take long to come out.
There's so many options to choose from!
We had the chicken satay, angel wings, papaya salad,yellow chicken curry, the mango curry with pork, pad sée ew, pad thai and for dessert( yes, please make room for dessert) the Exotic Bomba and Mango sticky rice.
The presentation is so beautiful. A delight to the eyes and also the taste is exquisite!
We can tell that the ingredients are fresh and premium quality. So glad we found this place! We will be back for sure!

I can't believe we live so close and are just know getting to know One Waan. We've been there five times in the last couple of months. We have managed to just scratch the surface of their menu (about 10 different items) and EVERYTHING has been OUT OF THIS WORLD! The presentation of the food is spectacular nothing short of a beautiful painting with every dish offered. Every item we have tried were absolute flavor bombs. Further elevating the experience was the service, Alex explained the preparation, ingredients and techniques involved in some of his dishes and Nelson our waitperson was very gracious and knowledgeable about the dishes we enjoyed. Do yourselves a favor and put One Waan on your dinning list soon. You will be very happy you did! Truly a great restaurant!!!!

We had a really great experience here! Food is beautiful and delicious! It's filling, but not too heavy which is refreshing. We loved the Khao soi and One Waan noodles and fried banana for dessert. Great service, good prices - we'll be back for sure!

We’re so lucky this place is in our neighborhood! It’s some of the best Thai food in San Francisco. It’s consistently delicious and the people who work here are so nice. Such a gem.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Actually Glen Park isn’t that rough, but this place definitely shines. The food is very good and so beautiful when it arrives. It’s easy to get a table and the owner really cares about the quality. Highly recommended. The food is much better than the rating that is listed.

Incredible massaman curry! It's absolutely delicious. The meat was fall apart tender, the potatoes were perfectly cooked, the rice was perfect and not at all dry. The flavors and spice were absolutely on point. I can't wait to eat it again!!

Don’t listen to any of those bad reviews saying that the portions are small, the portions are NOT small they are very filling. This place is so good I’m coming back a 3rd time this week! Pad Thai chicken was wonderful and drunken noodle as well!

Food was delicious! Friend and I both had the lunch combo. The tom yum soup had a lot of fresh vegetables that still had a little crunch, at the same time as being warm and comforting and, well, soupy. I had the basil eggplant with tofu, which was very flavorful. I asked for it to be spicy, but the owner(?) insisted on bringing me chilies on the side. The dish as prepared was well-seasoned (though not spicy), and the chopped Thai chilies on the side were strong, so that was a fine way to go.

We recently went to One Waan Thai for the first time. It was delicious, the service was friendly, and the presentation of the food was beautiful. Several dishes that we ordered were even adorned with fresh flowers. They have some unique dishes on the menu that go beyond the typical menu at many Thai restaurants including some that use udon noodles. Those noodles were chewy (in the best way) and delicious!

I met up with a friend in the Glen Park Village today to just grab some food before listening to some music at the bookstore, and we went to one Waan Thai.

We never expected the food to be so delicious. In fact it was outstanding and beautifully, artistically presented. I will be going there very often from now on. The quality of the food is extraordinary! I have had a lot of Thai food in the city, but this one is pretty much closest to the very top. In addition, the service is very good and the owner is a total sweetheart. I can highly recommend this place.

This has become my new go-to spot to get Thai food. I’ve ate here twice during my lunch break and both times the food quality/taste, service, and plating were exceptional. I highly recommend the Thai Samosas, Tom Kha, and Mango Sticky Rice. This place does not disappoint.

This place really punches above it's weight! While it's a great neighborhood spot, it really offers flavors and dishes that would give more upscale restaurants a run for their money. We got turned on to this place by our neighbors, and now recommend it to everyone!

First, the atmosphere is great, the place is really well decorated and has a warm modern touch. The service here is also very friendly and welcoming.

In terms of food, I love that the menu is more interesting than the typical Thai restaurants around. They have some interesting dishes that I don't typically see everywhere. Their flavors are fantastic, and the plating and presentation is really outstanding and almost unexpected!

From the menu, we liked these appetizers which were all great:
* corn cake
* thai samosas
* mango salad

We also enjoyed the One Waan Khao Soi, which is a flavorful dish that comes with Udon noodles and has some nice complex flavors.

This is now becoming our go-to spot for Thai around the area, either for in-person or takeout. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

I love this place so much. I grew up in Thailand and they have the best Thai noodle soup in SF. The owner always remembers me and is so nice. Beautiful food presentation too.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in SF. Just across street from Glen Park BART station. Nicely designed and very clean restaurant. The staff are extremely good and friendly. It is by far the best Thai food we've had in Noe Valley, Outer Mission, and Glen Park. We gone at least once a week and every dish we have had has been extremely good, delicious, and with beautiful presentation. And reasonably priced when compared with many other SF Thai restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

This has become my go-to for delicious Thai food, lovely ambiance, and friendly service (I am really surprised about the one or two low reviews: that is my opposite experience as a customer..and I have never seen this restaurant dirty as mentioned- it's always spotless and super clean). The owner, Alex and his team Nelson and Sunny are so nice, helpful, and accommodating. I always feel welcome there.

I enjoy bringing friends and business associates to One Waan Thai for the tasty curries and noodles, beautiful presentation and excellent service. Their ingredients are very fresh, unlike many restaurants that use pre-made or frozen ingredients, and the spices are in just the right amount and balance (not too salty, hot or sweet).

I especially love their:
Crispy veggie rolls - Crunchy, dipped in sweet chili sauce.
Pad Siew - delicious and tender noodles (hand kneaded).
Tom Yum soup with rice noodles- tangy and spicy, great on cold nights.
Grilled salmon with noodles -omg, love their wasabi-tinged sauce with this salmon.
Any curry, especially their beef and chicken curries: yum!

A beautiful spot right off Glen Park bart to grab some yummy thai food. It was my first time trying out this delicacy and I must say it was worth it! The service was friendly and timely as well as the food. It has that neighborhood well loved feel while still giving a fine dining experience. 10/10 reccomend

It's just a terrible place! I don't advise anyone. Unsanitary conditions, dirty tables and furniture. Be prepared to be rude to you. When asked to visit the toilet, they will also refuse. The restaurant is not customer-oriented, I will never come back.

Came here with my family - 2 kids and 6 adults - and we all loved our dishes! The service was amazing, the dishes were so delicious and with beautiful presentation. Definitely recommend, no need to hesitate !

Great food. Friendly staff. The chef here has a signature of putting a pink orchid flower in all the dishes which stands out. The spice in the food isn’t too much. I got the dish with 2 spice symbols and it was mild. The flavors in all the dishes were unique

Honestly pretty cute and modern for the area. It's a weird and not that cute overall location, but obviously convenient for transit. Food is ok. Presentation is hilariously overkill in a good way, like the chef is trying to work somewhere fancier - they deserve it.

Stay away from this definitely NOT Thai food.

Pad Thai wasn't even orange, had tofu that was spongy for soup rather than pan fried. Also got the Thai Boat Noodle; it was a Frankenstein combination of pho noodles, in a soup of over boiled beef slices, and soup consistency like Chinese blood soup. Meatball was rubbery and tasted like chemicals, bad enough I had to spit it out.

Stay away.

This restaurant serves very nicely played and delicious dishes. I highly recommend dining in. The Delightful Fried Rice is amazing.

Deliver was good, the food was BAD. I spent $115 and most of the food was not eaten. Quality was bad, and the portion sizes are smaller. Ordered Crab fried rice and it all when in the trash, the mango prawns were dry. Never had dry mango, but I did. The red curry chicken had all Bambo and you had to look for the chicken. I use to love this place. No more.

I ordered take out/pickup through the Beyond menu website in advance and the order was ready on time and was hot and fresh. The food portions were ample and the food was delicious. Grilled shrimp avocado salad was very very good. I would definitely order from here again.

Just across from the Bart station off of Diamond St, this small diner is a jewel. The service was friendly and discreet. The ginger spritzer held the right amount of sweet and tartness. Add to this the tofu and pumpkin curry, the chicken and eggplant and basil dishes.Yummie. Definite recommend.

Omg! I think the quality of the food has actually gotten even better since the pandemic! The veggies are fresh and the oil used for the crispy rolls was also fresh. And they haven’t cut down on their generous portions either.

I’ve been trying to support all my usual places but most make my stomach hurt now. The quality and taste of most of my places have gone way down. So that’s why even more impressive that One Waan has gotten better!!!

Very busy on a Tuesday night!

This is our family favorite Thai restaurant! We have been here since they opened. This place is different than other Thai restaurants. They use great and daily fresh ingredients! I know even coconut milk they use the best from Thailand. Beef they only use angus beef! And daily fresh vegetables! The owner take care the restaurant very well! Clean, fresh, delicious! I’m highly recommend one Waan! Best in San Francisco!

Portions are quite small considering the cost. The dishes we had were not particularly flavorful or well executed. Would recommend looking elsewhere for good quality Thai food. My wife and I were fairly disappointed and are unlikely to order from One Waan again.

Very unprofessional. As delivery workers we respect wait time but this restaurant had no respect for my time. Servers and hosts were not concerned or attentive until i spoke to the manager. Waited 30 mins for an order i was told 5-10 mins. Respect delivery partners that are giving you service, One Waan Thai.

Their food is good, but I would warn people about getting delivery from One Waan. We ordered last night and it took *90 minutes* to arrive! When we called (after 60 minutes) they said it was on it's way/almost there. We called again after maybe 75 minutes and they didn't even pick up the phone. Finally, it arrived completely cold and we had already tipped online so couldn't get our money back.

We've ordered One Waan previously and it was slow but not that slow; have also dined in and found the service slow because they only had one waiter. Anyway, I hope they get their operation running smoothly because the food really is good, and it's the only Thai in Glen Park. Still, be warned.

We tried the pad see ew, duck red curry and a pork, green beans and Thai basil dish. The pad see ew had a nice flavor but they use regular (western) broccoli as opposed to Chinese broccoli which was disappointing. I would have still given it 4 stars, however, the red curry however was the reason for the 2 star review. The curry sauce itself lacked depth and was a bit watery (there was not so much creamy coconut taste nor bold Thai aromatics), and there were 3-4 small pieces of duck. I can buy half a roast duck for $10 at retail price. The restaurant buys it wholesale and puts 3 small pieces in a $24 dish? Even more surprising considering their other dishes are reasonably priced

Food was delicious and the staff was attentive! They gave our group lots of time. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed our dinner. Coming back for sure!

This is one of my favorite dinner spots--the service is wonderful and the food is fresh, tasty, and garnished beautifully. The brown rice is plump and chewy, the noodles are silky and stretchy, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the servers are always friendly, attentive, and on point with those water refills (I <3 spice!). If it's on the pricey side, I at least believe that the extra cost is going toward creating high quality food and a relaxing dining experience.

I never received the dish I ordered (everyone else did though, party of 4), so I would not recommend dining here in person as the service is not great. I've ordered via delivery services in the past and the food is good though.
